The staff noticed we got married & prepared the sweetest congratulations bag for us with champagne glasses & complimentary drink at the bar & other small items! Nice staff and very dog friendly, which we greatly appreciated. Room was clean and adequate. No frills but no complaints either. Would go again. The breakfast is not that convenient or great. But the coffee is good.

The property was run down. Hallway was dark and dingy.

I was disappointed with the breakfast menu because it didn’t really have anything free or included except for coffee tea at the fruit you had to pay for and the sandwiches you had to pay for us so there was no real food at this breakfast. The fruit was two dollars and the sandwiches were more than six bucks. There’s no included buffet breakfast or anything. The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was very kind, but they need to update their breakfast cause most people want breakfast included, especially if they have to travel a lot.

The hotel was overall okay, the entrance is strange as the name of the hotel is not on the door but only on the vehicle entrance of the parking. The staff looks strangely bothered when asked whether you are at the right place or not, or when asked any question really. The room was clean, but the building looks a little run down, the shower pressure was really low, and the sound insulation is zero to none, I could hear people talking in the hallway, flushing the toilet in adjacent rooms, and a dog barking outside on the street at 5 am. I believe this is a great pit stop for one or two nights, but I would not recommend for a prolonged stay.

Yes..great place to stay..friendly staff. Unfortunately i left my brand new reading glasses there and i have tried numerous times to ckntact them . It would be nice to be able to have their number to call the hotel directly

My room was not cleaned for my entire 4 day stay. The “come back” sign was not on the outside of the door. I had to request a fresh set of towels each night. That overall was the most disappointing part of the stay.

For anyone looking to soak up Miami's vibrant energy without sacrificing a sense of calm, this place is an easy recommendation — and one I'd return to without hesitation.

On top of that, the AC unit made excessive noise all night. It was so loud that I couldn’t sleep at all, which completely ruined the experience. I expected much better service and transparency. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations.

My wife and I stayed at the Aloft the night before a cruise. The hotel is very convenient to the cruise port. Our room was bareboned, but had a comfortable bed and met our needs. The front desk staff were pleasant to deal with and helpful. A successful stay all things considered.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I didn't have hot water in my room in the shower although the sink had hot water. This was December and the heat in the room wasn't that strong in a cold wave and it took quite a while to heat up the room. The room has no drawers at all there is very limited closet space it's a very minimalist Style. The lobby is comfortable and friendly there's a nice bar and they have some breakfast choices. It was adequate for a one-night business trip. The king size bed was big and comfortable. The room lighting is too harsh there aren't really many subtle options. There is a balcony but not great view.

Our room was super clean. The bed was excellent. We didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment on that. Housekeeping arrived at 4 pm… we just opted for fresh towels. The language barrier made it difficult to communicate. Both our housekeepers communicated to us they did not speak English. Only downside was the lengthy wait for the lift. Only one lift was operating as the other was out of order and there seemed to be no attempt going on to fix it. Hotel is conveniently located to the metro and has a bar. We would stay here again if visiting Miami before or after a cruise.

There was a bad smell in the hallway and room. The bathroom tub should be replaced as it was damaged. Also one of the elevators didn’t work.

Nice hotel

Room was very spacious, loved the balcony and how on the tv it welcomed you and wished you a bon voyage. Had a drink and sweet tator tots at the wxyz bar. Crew were all freindly and helpful. Cruise shuttle was $ 15 per person, and Julio the driver was excellent.

Overall an excellent hotel. Frustrating that one of the two elevators was not working - led to some long waits for the elevator. Ada the bartender is awesome!

I had a miss-connect at MIA/the airlines did not code it as a reasons that they would grant hotel rooms, so I booked at Aloft so that I could be in a nice area for the 24 hours that I was stuck in Miami. The check in staff were great, gave me a tooth brush bc my luggage was at the airport.This is a busy hotel, so when I needed to talk to someone about a late check out, which I was willing to pay for, I was told to wait for the manager - we agreed that I would wait in the lobby, where I watched 20+ people receive service, but no one ever came to help me, as promised. Bc my time was ticking with the check out time, I went to the desk and asked again, clearly I was forgotten. I understand, it is a busy hotel. The late check out was granted - I was paying for it, but when I returned to my room at a time that was still within the regular check out hours, the cleaning staff was in the room/my items were removed - I was told that the front desk manager told them to clean my room/store my items. It was frustrating and the cleaning staff were nervous that they had done something wrong, which of course they had not. This hotel is fine.I had a fine night sleep, the bed is comfortable/the TV works well- has Netflix etc., the body products (blow dry bar) are spectacular as was the blow dryer, but the staff are too busy to properly manage guests' needs and if a do not disturb sign is still on a door within regular hours, a guest's items should not be removed. Not ideal.

Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the surrounding area felt safe—even when walking to a nearby restaurant later in the evening. Prior to our stay, I inquired about transportation to the dock, but was advised to use an Uber instead, which was disappointing. The room was prepaid, and there was also a noticeable odor throughout the space that seemed to be masked by hotel scent devices. Unfortunately, due to the subpar cleanliness standards, I would be unlikely to stay at an Aloft property again.

Checkin was not great, the lady was not paying attention and didn’t acknowledge me. I do think there was a security issue but she ignored me even after I waited 5 min in front of her then asked if I could be checked in or needed to wait. The room was ok, better than others and bed comfortable

The hotel was very nice. It was located in a nice area. The only issue we had was in the morning, we NO HOT water for showering. The sink had hot water but shower did not no matter how long it ran. The desk worker wrote it down but never apologized or even took any amount off the bill.

Ellias at the front desk deserves a raise! I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and warm hospitality after needing to switch the original hotel I was staying at for work to this one, my first time at Aloft Brickell. I had a pretty good stay. I booked a room with a city view but it was a bit disappointing as I was on a low floor but the manager was able to fix that. Also with booking through Expedia they did not have my free breakfast on their system they readily rectified that as well which I appreciate. My upgraded room was pretty spacious and had a balcony. We enjoyed it a lot. The lobby had a bunch of games and the valet parking was convenient. The one downside was that I could not add this stay to my Marriot Bonvoy points which I think is ridiculous.

It’s a great hotel! The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating, they made sure my family had everything we needed during our stay. Staff even went above and beyond to providing restaurant recommendations during our stay. Location is also great, Restaurants are nearby in this location and so is the airport.

I enjoyed my stay. However, there’s a $40 nightly fee for parking and a fee to receive packages at the hotel, $8 each. But other than that everything was lovely, I would definitely go back.

We were “upgraded “ to a balcony. The hallway and rooms need upgrading. The curtains had holes. The seat in the room had a hole as well. The rooms air conditioning light was so bright at night, that it lit up the room. The room was drab, no decor. The area it’s located does not match the room. The room did not have a “downtown Miami vibe”. The people that work at the hotel are nice and helpful.

Decent hotel. Staff were nice and friendly. Regular rooms are very small, I was disappointed by the size however, due to issues with the ac unit spurting water and dirty ice falling out hitting the bed and floor, we were upgraded to a suite. Larger room with a longer balcony. The smaller rooms view better scenically but it was nice to have the larger room. Ordered a couple of drinks at the bar, good drinks and the shots were worth the $$. Very convenient location. I would stay here again, but I’d only book a suite.

The property is in a great area. Walkable to food spots, gas stations, and stores. The hotel looks great and the pool area is very nice. When I was there their laundry facilities were not available. The balcony was nice and spacious. I enjoyed my stay here and would book again.

It was a nice hotel, but our room was small and very humid. The a/c was blowing but it did not do much to cool the room. The humidity left a sour smell in the air and no one came to check the a/c after we called the front desk twice. The plumbing wasn’t great, as the toilet had trouble flushing.

Everything was fine except we had absolutely no hot water for our morning showers. I informed the front desk, but only received an apology.

We arrived very early (8:30am) and they allowed early check-in without hesitation. Very friendly staff. We went out to the pool and they even brought popsicles out for everyone. A lot VB of construction in the area but this facility was great.

The property and neighborhood are in need of some TLC. It looks like the area is improving and Aloft will need to spruce up their property to not fall behind. The facade ad landscaping need improving. The lobby was nice and cozy with fun games to play. The room was small, but suited us nicely.

Really enjoyed my stay here it was perfect for me as I came to Miami for a solo trip, the staff made me feel safe and very welcomed and I’m very happy I chose to stay here! Very close to many bars/restaurants plus the mall as well!

My only negative remark concerns the unpleasant odor that greeted us upon entering our room. The entrance of the hotel smells wonderful, but after departing the elevator and walking down the hallway to our room, you are met with a musty, moldy smell. However, the hotel's location is fantastic! My husband and I used the MetroMover to get around, and we loved it! They just need to work on eliminating the odor inside the room. I even had to purchase a candle to help with the smell. But once you get past the odor (if you can), you will enjoy the location and the basic amenities offered by the hotel!
