Aloft by Marriott Miami Dadeland

The hotel looks awful, it doesn’t look like the pictures at all! Beds are tiny and my room had a smelly carpet.

I stayed here for 10 days and all I can say that the housekeeping people were very helpful and generous. Food isn't the greatest but other than that the pool was clean and the gym was also convenient.

Centrally located to the airport and University of Miami Worst hotel staff ever. No one’s ever at the front desk to help. Stood at the front desk for over 30 min waiting to be checked in at 11 pm at night. Three workers were there but no one acknowledged the line of folks waiting. Tons of people overbooked and people’s rooms weren’t clean. Complete shit show.

First round had a stale smell but the second room they moved us to was very satisfying. Parking was good and staff were very friendly.

We needed a 2 night stay for a wedding and this was one of the hotels suggested. It seemed far from the venue, but that was the planning committee’s decision.

Very clean, love that it has a fenced in dog park. Located across an excellent bakery (Don Pan) that serves excellent breakfast. I liked the decor and the size of the room. Very friendly staff, easy to check in and out. Too noisy - street noise pretty much all night and the noise from the AC unit woke me up a couple of times. Otherwise the room was excellent, very spacious.

Proximity. Communal area seemed nice. Employees were nice. It’s an old building with some updates. I stayed two nights, both without sleep because the walls are thin. One neighbor played the TV all night. I could hear every word said in the hallway and neighboring rooms. Room doors slam shut and what sounded like loud muffler drag racing g outside all hours one night. It should have been a dead give away when I saw complimentary earplugs were provided on the nightstand.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were modest, but practical. Not much within walking distance, and it routinely took 10-15 min for a ride share to arrive. The hotel pantry doesn't display prices, so $5 for a tiny bag of Doritos seemed awfully steep with nonreal options forbsupplies nearby.

Wonderful 14 night stay-modern clean rooms, helpful happy staff. Traveled with my small dog and he loved his stay also. To my surprise there was a nice fenced in dog area with play equipment. It was so nice to be able to let him run each day. I worked remotely for some of my 2 weeks, escaping the frigid northeast & to be close to my U Miami freshman. She stayed with me every night & the drive to school was just 7 minutes each morning. Great stay, great location.

Aloft was fine. It was the most reasonable price (>$220) a night for a hotel in the area which we HAD to be, due to work and walkable without a rent car. The hotel seemed a bit rundown, but clean and very modern. The room was small as we prepared a king bed. No chair in room, no microwave. No one was at check-in Registration Desk for 20 min. housekeeping was nice, fresh towels and trash pickup. Would probably not stay there again. No breakfast or bagels. Other hotels give you more at this price. Disappointing, and not classic.

The second night of our stay whomever was across the hall from us was up all night slamming their door and talking sooo loud. I didn’t sleep at all and I was recovering from a medical procedure. I did inform the front desk upon checkout

My stay was great for. Solo person like me , walk to dadeland mall shopping different places to eat I’m not a big foodie XYZ lounge was well stocked and clean and the dinner I got was well worth it , comfy room I did have to turn off ac a few times , cleaning staff was always on point every day , my remote wasn’t working they replaced it instantly , I never voiced any concern over the two packs of raw sugar for the coffee machine I had my own anyways , and I used the guest laundry ease of access

Hi paid for a king room but was told that Expedia doesn’t know the rooms they have and they overbooked them. I paid for breakfast and was told they “don’t do that anymore” and the night clerk did not offer a solution except to say that I had to speak with Expedia. People running in the halls and slamming doors all night. No coffee in the morning and no one to take a breakfast order. Will never be back.

When we arrived, we were told they already gave out all of the double queen rooms and the only option was a double full room, which was really more of an oversized twin bed. Also the air did not work overnight. Thank goodness we were only staying one night.

I typically stay here when I need a place around Coral Gables. Easy highway access, safe, clean. No issues ever.

Room was clean but bathroom towels were very old and rough, bathroom had no vent fan to ventilate after shower. Hallway smelled like smoke frequently. we accidentally left a pair of dress pants and three collared shirts in closet after we checked out. Called immediately that same morning and the clothes have never been found.

Someone smoked in our room! Horrible cigarette smell. The property was full so they couldn’t give us another room. It was late and i had my baby with me. At check out said the manager would be in contact nobody eve called.

Have stayed multiple times since I moved to Miami. Staff very accommodating rates are good plenty of parking and a great location. Pool is very nice also. Highly recommend

Rooms wasn’t the best as being clean

The hotel was modern, clean, and well staffed; it was situated in an area that had easy access to all shopping and dining, however that was also the drawback as the ares was very busty with traffic and that in itself created noise. If you are looking for a quiet hotel to rest and relax, you may want to look at other Aloft properties. If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of Dadeland, with easy access to shopping dining, transportation and practically all of the south Miami area, they this one is for you.

Property was clean and staff was very professional. However, it was a struggle communicating because my spanish is limited and staff was mostly spanish speaking, Also, i didn't realize they allowed pets until after i booked so if you're not an animal lover or if you have allergies reconsider. I was happy to discover they had a restaurant on property but the food options were limited and very pricey. I also loved they had a laundry room available to guests, i was able to wash clothes that i had spilled food on. However, i didnt like when i called housekeeping about the spill in the room they just dropped off cleaning items for me to clean up myself. that was different.

Hotel smells like dogs. Even with all of the overpowering detergents. I got a studio, which is just a bigger room. No microwave, kitchenette or any else expected from a studio. Pool and external area full or leaves and unattended. It is summer and these areas are expected to be clean and ready for use. I sat on the pool area for 35 minutes. Almost got abducted by the mosquitoes. There were too many. I still felt their bites underwater. No free breakfast. Even though it was advertised as: "Free full breakfast for 2."

Everything was great about this place. The updates make it feel so modern. However I only have one complaint and that’s the shower. The water ran out of the bathroom every time I showered.

Property needs a lot of attention and updating. . Some rooms smell of mold. Carpets need to be replaced and so does air system. Building is not up to Marriott standards. When you advertise, breakfast, lunch and dinner available, one assumes a restaurant. Not the case here. You order from front and food delivered. Not a true restaurant.

Please do not mis inform your guest when it comes to financials. I stayed for a medical procedure, tying up my account sets me back and had to reach out for assistance because of it.

Ordered food they didn’t the guy didn’t get my whole order in after repeating it 3 times. The man just walked away came back after 15 minutes then hands me the receipt to sign and my grandsons pizza wasn’t on the ticket so he walks away again takes 10 more minutes then he comes back with our food then my grandsons pizza the cheese wasn’t melted all the way and the other 3 meals were cold at this point. So I drove and got food from somewhere else

Hotel was renovated- room was very musty and damp. Could have just been the first floor room. Price was fine, just a very musty smell.

The Hotel is located next to a busy highway, walls and windows are not noise proof at all, we had a room on the 5th floor and we can hear the people conversation on the patio 5 floors below, other than than that the staff was great and the hotel was clean.

Air conditioner control panel was not working upon check in and room was hot. Front desk staff changed batteries on display and it began to work. A few hours later in the middle of the night it stopped working again and AC was shut off. Called front desk - no answer. Had to sleep in a hot stuffy room.

It was a good experience staying there for three nights. I'd probably book again if I want to stay within the same budget range in Miami. I had rental car and there was alway enough available spots in their parking lot.

I like a loft properties however this one the WiFi didn’t work my entire stay which is inconvenient for people who work remotely.

The water was shut off from 6 PM till 7 AM. The day we arrived we had no water after check-in. We were never notified prior too

The staff was great people staying there was great the bartender yaimel was wonderful the cleaning was ok my room had a few roaches on the bed mustve been from the last residence who stayed there before me that i woke up to it was on my pillow at that but it was overall ok wish the tv had Netflix like the other alofts but it wasnt bad everyone was nice and respectful and friendly love love.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff at Aloft Dadeland definitely are not up to the standards that Marriott is supposed to be at. We did a late check in, and the toilet in our room was filthy. Toilet paper in the toilet and scattered urine on the toilet seat. The front desk comes upstairs to give us a room key to a different room. When we try entering that room, the latch is on. There’s people sleeping in the room. It’s 1:30 in the morning dealing with this stupidity. I do not recommend anyone to go there based on this experience. That property is a joke.
