The front desk staff said that we would get free parking because we were getting 3 rooms and then they charged us for parking! A lot!! The hotel is in really bad shape except the lobby. Stay away!

The restaurant attached to the hotel had a strong sewage odor, making it unpleasant to dine there. In addition, there was dirty water on the floor in common areas, creating an unsanitary environment. The pool area was also lacking basic amenities, as there were no umbrellas available for shade. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. One of the male hotel attendants acted as though our questions were an inconvenience and seemed annoyed whenever we asked for assistance. Overall, the hotel did not meet basic cleanliness, maintenance, or customer service expectations. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made.

Had some issues with some odd worms or something on the curtain in our room but the staff was super courteous and switched us out with no fuss. Close to the beach and a decent enough hotel for the price. You can tell the rooms need some maintenance though despite them updating the furniture.
- 5/5
The customer service was excellent as well. Very helpful and attentive.

Stay was ok, owner did not maintain the pool bar, didn't have basics for drinks. There was loud construction in the pool area that made relaxing hard to enjoy. Next time I will book the holiday inn.

The hotel is in the perfect spot, right next to the beautiful beach, the pool is amazing, the bar was great, the girl that work the bar was very friendly and polite.

Location, pool and beach access. I wish the down stair hall was not under construction so we could get the continental breakfast.

Staff was friendly and accommodating Parking, hill in front of the hotel was terrible, no restaurant except for the basement restaurant that needed more staff and remodeling Also under construction

I like how the hotel had there own personal beach. The hotel needs to be a bit more cleaner when it comes to the rooms. My room, was dirty when it came to the sheets. My sheets had yellow stains on them. However, the front desk was able to accommodate us to another room. Also, the shower was to small. I think the hotel will be better once they are done remodeling.

To be honest it wasn’t anything I like about this hotel. The bathtub paint was peeling and I spoke to the lady at the front desk, but nothing was done about it. The only thing that I like was being able to walk to the food places and eat.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, the cafe and food areas were closed. Pool was accessible, beach access was easy. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Room was clean but bathroom was small. Hotel parking was across the street and small but easily accessible. Hopefully when the hotel is fully finished with renovations it will be much more pleasurable to stay.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach. It would be great if the bar from pool opens often and later than 8pm.

The rooms (we stayed before a cruise and after the cruise) were both a little dirty and run down. The television remotes were absolutely disgusting, and there always seemed to be some type of food on the carpets. Bathrooms are very small and there’s nowhere to really put anything down besides on the toilet, or very edge of sink. While there we noticed that they are actively working on renovations around the hotel, and the work they are doing is well done. It’s not easy to repair a hotel while still operating it as a hotel at the same time. The pool area was great, as clean as one can get and immediate beach access and day passes for chairs and umbrellas. Wanted to have ordered food, glad I went down to the restaurant and looked around before ordering. Very dirty, horribly smelly bar and restaurant below the hotel. Others at the pool had mentioned how they’d looked into the window and then decided to pass due to the conditions. Would I stay again? Maybe. But there’s not too much around other than the beach. A few good restaurants nearby, but it’s pretty limited.

Room was spacious, clean and very nice, it was located on 6th floor the other side of building where construction work was being done so we were not inconvienienced by any noise, the beach was lovely

Great location. For an older building, it was clean and well decorated. They kept it very cool inside which was refreshing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although there was a bar in basement that isn’t technically part of the hotel, it was a real “hole” but their drinks and food were actually pretty good so don’t let the aesthetics of the basement turn you off. The bathrooms were small and there was no shelving to put my toiletries anywhere. The beds were too hard for my preference but after a long day running around in the heat, I still slept pretty good in it!

Location was great. Room was (mostly) clean. I rarely give bad reviews but this experience deserved it. Only one person working desk. We waited about 30 min to initially check in due to someone ahead of us having an issue (that the desk worker could have taken a moment to check us in while the customer was talking to her family on the phone). Many times later in stay , no one was at desk when we needed assistance. I needed more towels (we literally were checking out soon )- no towels arrived when needed. Pool bar was shut down with holiday decorations up from a holiday months ago. A person was sleeping on couch in lobby next morning -is this a safety issue from outsiders ? Or someone lost his room key and no workers to be found ?

Hotel was nice and the room was large with a perfect view of the beach! Some of the room was dated but it was clean and the staff was very accommodating. The pool area was comfortable and the pool bar serving drinks and food was convenient. The free Miami trolley has a pickup location directly in front of the property, too. I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Location is awesome though. And I was very pleased I could check in early, when I replied to a message in the Expedia app asking if I wanted a late checkout, and I replied yes, I learned the hard way that they don't monitor messages on the Expedia. So nobody knew why I was sent an offer for a late checkout and nobody got my enthusiastic "yes please" when I replied. So I was made to check out at 11am.
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is a scam and looks nothing like the pictures. Our room was very dirty; we checked out immediately. Staff wasn’t even apologetic or accommodating in any way. This spot is an embarrassment
- 3/5
They are renovating the outside. The restaurant at the lower level smells like a pipe burst. The lobby needs a massive renovation. It does nof compare to the other hotels in the area.
- 4/5
View was good room was old carpet dirty bathroom not so clean and no restaurant every morning we’re eating breakfast at Holiday Inn next from our hotel
- 2/5
Couldn’t get in or out of front door due to construction. Very inconvenient when waiting for Ubers
- 5/5
Great location. Bed was comfy. AC worked. Staff were helpful.
- 3/5
The bathroom from the hotel wasn’t that clean. The windows were horrible. Couldn’t really see out them. But the stay was nice. Housekeeping kept our beds nice.
- 1/5
Badly maintained property. The room was dirty on check-in and it took multiple housekeeping visits to vacuum the floor, clean the toilet and shower area. Pieces of paper on the carpet. Stains in the toilet and shower area. Urine spots on the toilet seat. I tried changing rooms and the alternative rooms were no good either. Exterior was being painted and there were no signs. I saw a guest place a handbag against the wall and the paint stuck on it, damaging the bag permanently. The icing on the cake? Active construction in progress and there was loud drilling and hammering after 9am forcing me to call front desk to get them to pause until I step outside. Never again. No sir.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice, wish they had a breakfast included. Good location.
- 4/5
the staff at the restaurant was very inattentive and not the friendliest, but did the job. the front desk staff was nice and helpful. the view was great and pool well kept. overall, i would stay here again. our room was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed as far as toiletries, but would have preferred if it had more of a kitchenette instead of just a mini fridge.
- 4/5

- 5/5

- 3/5
It was a decent stay, but the place needs some work. The rooms and hallways smelled. My room was clean and spacious, and the view was great. Not much counter space in the bathroom though. Great access to the beach.
- 5/5
Great friendly staff
- 4/5
The building itself appears to be dated, but we noticed that renovations were underway during our stay. However, the rooms were decent and clean. The bathroom had received some superficial upgrades, but overall, everything was in good condition. The staff was truly exceptional. We arrived hours before our check-in and they held our bags and even gave us passes to the beach chairs right on Miami Beach while we waited for check in. They were also incredibly helpful and responsive to our requests, such as receiving DoorDash orders for us. I can’t say enough about the exceptional service we received from the staff.
- 3/5
Staff was nice. Our recently renovated room had a bathroom door hanging on by one screw. The outdoor pool was a little cold. I had very slow service at the pool for a small underwhelming $20 drink despite it being not busy.

I’d not recommend booking this hotel at all, there are much better hotels on the same beach location just need to book sooner to get good price. Unfortunately we had to book at the last min and didnot have any choice and did it realize it would have been that bad.
- 5/5
The view was wonderful and easy to park at this hotel. Staff is super friendly and our room is always perfect!
- 3/5
The front desk and cleaning staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel was under construction and the room was outdated and needed new carpet as it was dusty and stained. Our balcony had old rusty chairs, but the ocean view from our 7th floor room was nice. The bed was also comfortable. I would not choose this hotel again.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay here.
- 5/5
The property is dated but clean and had whatever is needed. Parking was just across the street, the pool was nice, had a bar outside and gate to the boardwalk and the beach. Beach chairs were avaialble at the beach as well. I would say there again for a night or two.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Construction was a little much. Pool was cold. Beautiful beach views. Very honest staff.

The technology failed and we could not get into the apartment. It was bolted. We had to go to a hotel. Awful. I asked for someone to telephone me and they did not.
- 5/5
I didn’t have a vehicle, so parking wasn’t an issue. Room overlooked Collins Ave. which was fine.
- 2/5
Room was dirty, I had to wear my shoes in there because the floor had tons of stains. Bathroom was gross, and beds very uncomfortable. Looks like they may be redoing it but it was gross.
- 3/5
Bathroom was small, clean room, but they was under construction which we did not know. Was okay but stay at better places.
- 4/5
Great staff. Portions of property being renovated.
- 1/5
The only highlight of this hotel was the staff. The girls at the front desk were really nice to us and try to accommodate despite the terrible condition of our hotel room. The hotel is under renovations so the café and the pool bar everything is closed and under construction. There was drilling going on outside on the roof by our window. They switched us to another room . Then the air conditioner in the new room was leaking . Our entire carpet was wet and smelled and when they tried to move us into a second room , then we saw that room the air conditioner was also leaking. Also the hotel overall is giving old Miami, but it is in terrible condition. We came here just for a few days to be close to a wedding that was happening in South Beach. I will never stay here again and do yourself a favor always contact the property and ask them if it’s under renovation or any type of construction because they failed to mention that when we booked or when we confirmed our reservation. Good thing the manager and the host at the front desk was nice enough to try to move us to another room and gave us a complementary one night because otherwise this hotel property is not worth more than $40 a day and we were supposed to pay $150 per day. terrible do not stay here!!! The hotel owners do not want to list this place as under construction! The place looks nothing like the pictures !! This is a warning to everyone, do not stay here!
- 4/5
Good location! Beach access (plus chairs and umbrella), pool access, you can request beach/pool towels from the front desk. The property is in need of an update. Our windows were painted shut, ice machine does not work, they sent us to a hotel a couple doors down for ice and breakfast (discounted).
- 1/5
Parking was easy the room was horrible
- 3/5
Our room overloooked the beach and had a balcony. The room didn't look like the picture, and didnt have any overhead lighting. Reminded me of budget hotel at the Jersey Shore. Fit our needs, but we were not blown away with the place.

- 2/5
The staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately the conditions of the hotel were challenging.
- 3/5
Stay at Lexington was okay. It can be better if they didn’t have construction at 7am. My only problem is the supervisor. He’s very rude and disrespectful. I made calls at the hotel for many times regarding to charges on my account. He couldn’t answer my questions and refused to answer anything. He kept interrupting me while I was trying to asked him questions. He talked over me and was told to talk to the manager. Poor customers service. I will not be staying at this hotel again!
- 2/5
I called before I booked as I had stayed here the year before and wanted to make sure the restaurants were open and construction done- I was told it was. I booked and upon arrival it wasn't. Steak house is filled with toilets and mattresses and the tiki bar never opened. There is a beaches basement bar which is dingy and smells like grease. In our room the wood panel fell off the wall, landed on her toe and injured my daughter. They sent someone to fix the panel but couldn't get ice for her toe. Her toe is black and swollen and bruised and she couldn't wear shoes. They didn't care. I have reached out 5 times to them regarding her injury and no one will talk to me or respond to my messages. Terrible customer service.
- 2/5
Room phone didn’t work, outlets in room don’t work, no microwave in building, no breakfast options, not very family friendly hotel. No pool towels accessible, the outside was always a mess. Cards to rooms aren’t worked. Had to call three times with my phone to get room service/house keeping. Three times I told them the room phone did work but no one came to check on it. I don’t recommend this hotel for families.
- 2/5
Not great. Location is fine though, everything else needs improvement badly
- 4/5
Amazing staff, however, my room was assigned right next to the construction happening in the hotel and it was impossible to sleep in past 8 am. I think the hotel should close off the rooms right next to all the construction. Another thing, the shower is a halfway glass standup shower and is very difficult to not make a huge puddle on the floor so my bathroom floor was constantly covered in water. Additionally, there should be more than 2 beach chairs available per room. Overall the property was great and like I said the staff was amazing and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 4/5
Lexington by Hotel RL Miami Beach was situated in a great location - quiet beach with the trolley and bus drop off right outside the lobby door. It seems as though the hotel was in the middle of a remodeling project, so the floors were dusty in the common areas and stairwells, and the hallways appeared unfinished. There was only one ice machine, which was located on the 5th floor. No closet space to hang your clothes. The majority of the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was large with plenty of chairs. The Tiki Bar had limited hours. Access to the beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas was excellent.
- 4/5
Good place to stay. Bummer place was under renovation during my stay
- 5/5
Convenient location and nice staff!
- 3/5
There is no onsite parking for this hotel. They should tell you that when you reserve your room. Instead they charge you extra to park your car.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and accommodating, the beautiful pool area, and the beach is a 3-second walk. The only thing is that the water in the room barely got hot, so we basically had to shower in cold water.
- 3/5
Dated property excellent staff really no where to dine on the property on the beach
- 1/5
Ads are very misleading
- 1/5
The whole overall experince was terrible. loud noises in the morning, bathrrom wasnt cleaned properly. No one at the front desk ever.
- 1/5
No not what I expected. Construction going on. We didn’t get sleep . Rooms are horrible conditions.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly beach and pool was nice just need cleaning in the basement bar
- 4/5
Great location, perfect proximity to the beach, and staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Nice view of the beach. No coffee or dining on site.
- 5/5
I had a street view with all the lights and 24 hr traffic noise. Parts of the hotel had construction going on daily. No microwave in room, but did have a fridge. Pool was clean and the beach was great.
- 4/5
Le personnel à la réception était sympathique et nous avons eu notre chambre avant l’heure, la piscine est propre et la mer juste à côté
- 5/5
Great for the price. Nothing fancy but great price for on the beach. Don’t expect luxury but clean, basic, reliable beach fun. Good for families.
- 3/5
Overall, the hotel was decent—the staff were nice and the parking was OK. However, my room didn’t seem very clean—I had to wipe off the top of a dresser. The rooms need updating—the outlet between the beds didn’t work, and the shower didn’t have a good drain.
- 1/5
The only thing is it was convenient...was beautiful the miami beach was right there as well as close to all the Jewish kosher restaurants and cvs. All im saying id never go here again. And not rececmend it.
- 1/5
Several leaks through out the property, bathroom in bar area didn’t work, bar limited in ingredients. Construction outside of the building, it’s was loud inside and out, building is old with single pane windows.
- 3/5
We had no hot water. If water ran for about 15min it got slightly warm. The hotel phone in the room didn’t work. The room was clean a very old hotel.
- 3/5
Pest control
- 3/5
The best amenity that this hotel offers is direct access to the beach and they provide towels, 2 beach chairs and a umbrella to their guests daily which is a BIG plus. However, the property is in need of a complete overhaul and upgrade. There are some renovations being done but it is being done poorly and is very noticeable. My room didn't have a microwave and I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't provide one. The hotel is conveniently located where you have access to the free trolley as well as many buses that take you to South and North Miami Beach. The surrounding areas of the hotel is well trafficked and people are constantly walking up and down Collins Avenue. I feel that given the condition of the hotel it is very pricey.
- 5/5
I love the friendly staff- they all were very accommodating for us and pleasant. With many hotels now nlt even having this, it was refreshing! Lastly, the room was super clean and we had no issues with the room. Will definitely book here for our next trip!
- 1/5
No coffee , someone opened our room door three times and staff couldn’t exaok who it was be . We don’t see due to we were in bed and blocks the door . Hotel was freezing but rooms where HOT air didn’t work . Most important not handicap accessible at all, even to go to the pool if you had to walk downstairs to get in the hotel, you had to walk upstairs no ramps nothing at all
- 1/5
A banheira estava suja e descascando. A localização do hotel é boa, tem serviço de praia, mas os atendentes não são carismáticos nem atenciosos.
- 3/5
The building itself could use some updating. Staff checking us in was not friendly/informative/welcoming. The location is nice to be right on the beach
- 5/5
The staff was excellent! The hotel was clean and in a good location.
- 3/5
It was ok.
- 4/5
The pool view and beach comfy beds rooms cleaned every day
- 2/5
The Bath tub and toilet needs replacing. LL level restaurant was disgusting. Passing on returning Staffing was great.
- 2/5
Yes. I would not let my dog stay there. No service at all.
- 1/5
This hotel is dirty I had my food from a restaurant on the dresser and a roach came and was crawling all on the bag never will stay here again and the receptionist was rude
- 1/5
Just entering the pathetic, dated lobby my wife and I knew we were in trouble. The room was dated and sparsely furnished. The shower was luke warm. Paper towels would have been better than the beach towels provided. The resort fee was highway robbery. The only positive note was the view from our room of Miami Beach. Lastly, the construction going on was loud and disruptive. Time to tear this place down and start fresh. The Lexington is living in the past. Maybe over 60 years ago when it was built it was an average hotel at best.
- 1/5
Don’t let the lobby fool you.
- 1/5
Room carpet and bathroom was not 100% clean, no water on one night, no hot water in mornings for showers.
- 1/5
Not very good, no breakfast no restaurant. A cockroach in the room. Staff were almost all a bit surly except Brianna.
- 5/5
Excellent service and communication
- 1/5
The hotel is dirty. Our bathroom was very dirty. To the point of gross. Very unpleasant stay.
- 4/5
The hotel is old and under renovations. It was loud during the day but not bad at night. The room was clean, staff was nice. Luke warm hot water. We had drinks at the pool bar and bar in the basement. They also offer food that looked good. Easy beach access with chairs and umbrella included. Many restaurants in walking distance and free trolly pick up outside hotel.
- 3/5
The lobby and staff were great. We arrived early so they gave us pool and beach access. We got to our room and it was right off the elevator. The door had a gap all the way around the top. The shower was horrible water for the shower would not get hot enough. The half glass makes it difficult to shower as you can only use half of the shower. Beds were ok but could have been better.
- 5/5
The roo. Was nice and clean and the front desk staff was amazingly helpful. Would definitely return.
- 3/5
Bathrooms are too small not really a good view from the 5th floor
- 2/5
- 3/5
Sub-par hotel. The place was dirty and the elevators looked like construction/freight elevators. One of them had half the lights out. The bar/restaurant was dinge and several of the lights were flickering. The carpet in the room was dirty and made the bottoms of our feet black after showering then walking on it! The caulking was smeared around the windows like a kindergartener had done the work.
- 4/5
Our corner room was big bed was comfy and staff was nice. Only issue was street noise, a rear facing room might had been quieter.
- 5/5
Amazing service
- 4/5
Great for the price
- 3/5
I had for over one month 2 rooms reserved and when I checked in they only had 1 room available and they told me that the hotel is full and they moved my family to another hotel. So we vacationed as a family in 2 hotels! They did not address why they didn’t have my other room, they just told me the hotel was full! Their system was down and they couldn’t figure out which rooms we have at the beginning. They gave us 2 rooms to find out that the other room was already occupied and the resident was showing! This was not a professional service! The hotel was heavily under construction and many facilities were closed. The room was excellent by the way with excellent view to the ocean.
- 2/5
The walls in this hotel are paper-thin. The first night I had a difficult time sleeping because I could hear conversations from the room next door. The conversations travel right through the adjoining room doors so it sounds like your neighbors are sitting in your room talking. I could not stand it the second night, so I left the hotel early and asked thatthe front desk not charge me for the second night. I believe they charged me. So I will need to deal with that now. Overall it was a clean hotel, but the noise was unbearable.
- 2/5
No ice in hotel. 5th floor machine broken. 10th floor no machine at all.Front desk said no ice in the hotel. Initial room they gave had no working A/C or heat. Front desk switched room and with a room that was part of a double room so all conversations next door was loud. The door tonget intonroom wasnt a hitel door but more ofnlike a home depot pirchsde where it easnr cut tonsize in all 4 sides so all the noise from hallway was annoying and late at night even worse. Rooms on the floor were being re done and a massive turpentine smell was ovwrbearing and dangerous and nobody should be on a floor where there is construction going on. To get to the pool l, the access was CLOSED. Guests have to go outside and aroind the blick tonget tonthe boardwalk and beach. The overplace looks like a hotel outnof a third world country where theybtry to make it neat and nice but everytjing is just from the 1970s. The fridge also was more of like a mini freezer where everything becane ftozen even on the lowest setting. IHG is 40.00 mote but a world of a difference in professionalism. Hotel also said theybdint offer breakfast! Hotel is liberally close to being a dump. PS the ac unit had thebsidew visible to the outsider. Groind floor had a massive hole that iguanas can just climb in. Right next to the pool smelled like a massive sewer disgsuting stench. Hotel said they cant do anything because hotel stay was through Expedia. Insane way to do biz.
- 1/5
Reception was poor. Multiple rooms on my floor were being renovated so the smell of paint thinner gave me a headache. The walls were so paper thin that it felt like the people next door to me were in the same room. The only good thing is the location.
- 2/5
Additionally, the direct access to the beach/pool area was closed off, which meant we had to walk all the way around the hotel each time. This was inconvenient and not something we were made aware of beforehand. Overall, the temperature issues and limited access significantly impacted our comfort and experience.
- 4/5
The room was clean, but somewhat dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
When I first went to check in the system was down and it took forever. There was constant construction in teary morning that didn’t let us sleep, the elevator was broken and we got stuck in it for a few minutes, the bathroom walls were dirty, I went to get some ice and there were bugs frozen in the machine!!! The room service staff didn’t speak English and did not understand our requests, they came banging on our door in the morning which woke us up… overall terrible experience!!!

The pool bar they ranted about online and in e mails was NOT open. Neither was the steak house & the “new” beaches restaurant was a joke of a hell hole. Honestly was depressing .. plenty of minor details led up to a horrid stay.
- 1/5
Towels were not replenished, room was basically cleaned.
- 4/5
The room was clean, staff were nice. Our cold water faucet from the shower wasn’t working and we got helped really quick. This was my second time staying and will definitely return.
- 4/5
Great location. Nice big rooms
- 1/5
The rooms were broke down outdated and there were bugs crawling on the floor. There was not an exhaust fan in the bathroom and that breaks code. It was literally the worst room I have ever stayed in. The holes in the walls, ceilings and in the floor where the bathroom is was absolutely neglected.
- 1/5
Everything literally
- 2/5
The hotel was under construction and we weren't told. Pool bar closed. Rooms old. Bath tub would not drain. Dingy.
- 3/5
I would not recommend the hotel to a friend.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff fast and helpful, location by beach and restaurants/CVS were excellent!👍
- 4/5
Great
- 1/5
Old, front desk staff rude and disinterested, bad construction. 9am-5pm everyday ultra loud. Not peaceful. Small old bathroom. No breakfast buffet. No tiki hut (except for a couple hours on Saturday). Beach wasn’t great. Go somewhere else.
- 4/5
Beautiful ocean view. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
Pool seemed clean. Chairs on the beach were good. Oceanview room was beautiful. Im not sure i would go back until the remodeling is complete
- 5/5
Everything about d accommodation was excellent i couldn't ask f anything less
- 5/5
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Great view
- 1/5
There was constant noise. First an intermittent fire alarm. Then a buzzing right outside our window that didn't stop. The place was also really tired with no amenities. I checked out after one of 4 reserved nights. I'm not waiting for my refund.
- 5/5
Beachfront view, great place for the price. Would stay again.
- 2/5
The pool bar we were told would be open did not open until 930 at night. When ask the front desk, why it would not open they told us to go two resorts down to get bar service at their sister resort. They put us in a room on the 10th floor in a construction area at the resort. We got it woken every morning to them and jack hammering the outside wall at 9:00. I was told there would be breakfast at the resort along with an outside tiki bar. We were also told to go up the road to get coffee because the restaurant was not open. I have videos and photos of all of my complaints if interested

The hotel is under construction and almost none if not all of the amenities were closed. The pool was open. The bathroom room was a nightmare. Lack of space, narrow, I kept knocking into it. In order to be inside the door was to remain either open or closed. Upon arrival, the tub and bathroom was filthy. The tub had a ring around it and brown and unknown residue everywhere. The bathroom was also missing the light fixture. I requested the bathroom be cleaned, apparently someone attempted but it looked as though it hadn’t been touched. Also requested the sheets be changed and the same sheets from the day prior, still had the stains it did when we arrived. The worst part, in the middle of the night and day we would be attacked by gnats. They woke us up in the middle of the night got into our food. Which we had no where to store our food and because we were not notified the fridge wasn’t working nor was there a microwave. I’m not one for a fuss so I’m like maybe I should just request another room but they were booked up and all sold out. I spent over 2000$ on that room. I wouldn’t care if I spent 500$. With no accommodations or help ? Unacceptable. Apparently Veterans discount was applied but I see no evidence.
- 3/5
Staff was great, but the room is very dated. TV is very old with a horrible picture. No microwave, refrigerator barely works. The only ice machine in the whole hotel broke.
- 1/5
Hotel is not maintained well ,
- 2/5
The staff was very courteous and professional. Hotel seems very old and rusty. Tiki bar was never open the whole time we were there (3 nights) never saw one person go into the pool. The wires actually run along the hallways across the ceiling into each room. Room doors have to be slammed to shut them and stuff is falling apart all over the place. Walls are super thin and bedsheets had stains. Definitely would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Overall the property is old, outdated and needs updating. Construction in process.
- 2/5
Staff, Ashyeta, was very nice and helpful. Without her assistance, we wouldn’t have enjoyed our stay as much
- 4/5
Staff was nice , room were good too
- 2/5
Staff was kind and helpful, but the hotel is old and worn down in the room was dirty and very outdated and didn’t seem clean
- 2/5
Bathrooms were bad
- 2/5
Never seen a Hotel Room shower with no soap holder. not really well maintianed hotel for a tourist
- 1/5
This has been my worst hotel experience ever and I have traveled a lot over many decades. This hotel is terrible: I was fraudulently charged several times (over $1k) after I already paid hotels.com. Others have, too. See reviews. No one mans the front desk, there is no security - doors to the beach and pool are left open all night. But the frosting on the cake was I was awakened by a jackhammer twice outside my room before 9 am because they're doing construction. I will be following up with hotels.com. It's a travesty.
- 1/5
We found the cockroach in bathroom. Small bugs all around.
- 2/5
Terrible condition, staff are rude, room was filthy. No coffee. Would never stay here again.
- 3/5
Good thing about the room is that it looks just like the pictures. The bad thing about the room was the visible wear and tear of the shower. There was low water pressure. There was visible dirt around the toilet on the floor and toilet seat. The staff was personable and professional during checkin and check out.
- 5/5
The customer service was very professional and friendly. The room was decent for the price, and it's in a good location near the beach and tourist attractions. The only downside is that parking and breakfast aren't included.
- 5/5
Easy direct beach access Restaurant's in area were very nice. Recommend staying with them.
- 5/5
The staff were courteous and the rooms were big enough. Love the spot of Hotel too.
- 3/5
Liked beach and pool access, also customer service was professional. Building is aging and under repairs, the pool isnt heated
- 3/5
Pool was freezing. Beach bar never opened all during the 2 days we were there despite receiving an e mail prior to arriving to give opening times. Very disappointing.
- 3/5
Property was pretty run down, rooms were old with poor updates. Beach amenities were nice and convenient.
- 3/5
Appeared that repairs/renovations may have been happening. Lobby appeared run down, scaffolding outside for exterior work which you had to walk through to get to the pool/beach. Rooms were clean and spacious.
- 3/5
Windows painted shut. Whoever did the interior paint job was also rather sloppy in general. I understand there is construction work going on, but seeing the hotel in such a state of disrepair was a bit disturbing. And why no hot tub? You could cut off a corner of that under-utilized pool and turn that corner into a hot tub. I found the resort fees annoying; the booking site advertised one specific price "all inclusive" but then you add on that fee. The owners of the Lexington don't need it. For one thing, this property doesn't really qualify as a "resort". For another, it's kinda false advertising. Staff was nice.
- 2/5
The carpet had a horrible smell. I had to go to the local CVS to buy Lysol to make it pleasant. Bath tub was chipped dirty, but most importantly the smell of the hotel room the lobby. The elevator was unbearable. It smelled like sewer I spent most of my time and my friends hotel down the street because I did not want to be there because the smell was making me so sick. I will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
The beach front access is beautiful, plus they give you towels, chairs and umbrellas to use so that’s a great deal. The hotel is outdated however their staff really keeps it clean. The room was okay, but it was outdated, needed more lamps or lights, not a lot of accessible outlets, the shower is rusty looking and paint was peeling but the cleaning service keeps it super clean so that made it better.
- 1/5
I got an extra charge of US$50, four months after my stay. I do not understand why they keep making charges to my credit card. It is very dishonest and I am disputing the charges through my credit card. Do not get into trouble and avoid this hotel.
- 1/5
Room had black mold in it behind the bed room smelled terrible and front desk very unhelpful got an email stating the tiki bar was open completely shut up and their appears to be construction but idk front door to hotel doesn’t lock at night very strange smell again throughout hotel room was dirty as well dried rice all over photo I was in line to address these issues but I got out of line before I got to rhthe front to discuss this with them
- 1/5
No amenities, no restaurant Very loud every one slamming doors in the morning. And lots of noice from the street One elevator only. Just bad !!!
- 3/5
Hotel was dirty but a great place to sleep at night considering prices of surrounding hotels. I was here for a conference and it meet my needs
- 4/5
Pool Tiki Bar not open
- 2/5
The room was disgusting, the pool bar was closed which is one of the reasons I booked this hotel. It looks nothing like the pictures, shower head was basically falling out of the wall. Only nice thing about it was it’s close to the beach.
- 1/5
This has to be the worst experience at a hotel I have ever had. This started from the moment we checked in. The front desk clerk was rude. Our room was very dirty. I had to go and purchase Clorox wipes to wipe everything down. The parking had a fee and was extremely tight. Be careful parking your car here. It is not ideal. The hotel “resort” had a resort fee as well. Unfortunately the entire hotel is under some sort of renovations which they failed to mention upon making our reservation. The amenities that would make this hotel and destination resort were all under repair and or closed. They advertise a beautiful hotel with a nice pool bar. The pool bar is NOT open. There is no direct access to the “Beaches” bar restaurant and it smelled like something died in there. The elevators were dirty and stinky too. Overall I wouldn’t even rate this a one star. Luckily, Miami Beach, is beautiful and close to many other places to go and enjoy. I believe we deserve a refund of some sort but ultimately do not like to complain. I would just rather warm other folks from wasting their time and money by staying at this hotel. The entire advertisement is misleading. I feel as though they robbed us.
- 5/5
nice pleasant, no frills.
- 1/5
This hotel had the most disturbing smell in the lobby. The rooms do look better then the lobby but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Just writing the review alone is making me want to itch. Pretty sure if the hotel had an inspection they’d fail.
- 4/5
Yes, the room was spotless. The staff was friendly and the location very convenient. I recommend the Lexington by Hotel RL Miami Beach.
- 5/5
Huge clean room nice pool tio!
- 1/5
Found bed bugs in hotel, not getting through to manager to get compensated for all damages that cause due to cleaning out my personal stuff Right way. Avoid this hotel!!!
- 2/5
To charge a resort fee and everything is under construction / closed is crazy. The pool was dirty and not filled all the way along with the pool bar being closed the whole trip tues-sun. Thank god we made friends and were able to use the pools next door. Also we paid for 3 guests in our room to only be allowed 2 beach chairs and have to pay for a 3rd when it’s dead is unreal. The shower creaked every time you move the ac smelled like somthing died inside of it at times. Only one elevator worked and at one point neither did and my poor friend had to climb 10 floors. From pictures and description of hotel it was NOT what we expected at all. Oh and let me not forget the whole place smelled like sewer especially in the elevator
- 2/5
The room and bathroom was not being cleaned. Only the beds were made. The surrounding had a pungent smell. Especially going through the elevator. The front desk gentleman was nice.
- 2/5
However, no smoking facilities and all I could smell in our room through the vents all day and night was cigarette and Marijuana. You can tell facility is going through updates but cracking tubs, chipping paint , etc. facilities need some work.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
No complaints
- 3/5
No continental breakfast at all, weird shower doors that let water get all over the floor. Generally okay though and great view of the ocean.
- 1/5
Hotel has construction and lots of noice on weekend and Manager Ashleyth told us she will give us refund tolf us as a manger of rge hotel she was unaware about construction but she didnt responded to Expedia which she told us to contact for refund since we booked through them.
- 2/5
The bed was ok. The toilet had pee, they didn't flushed
- 5/5
It was a good experience except for the on going renovations that makes the place look less clean and untidy.
- 1/5
The property in very nice photos in reality it is another one the hotel bar does not exist it is a warehouse of construction materials the pool bar is closed not even water to drink is offered the restaurant very poor the menu the bathroom full of water and very dirty of poor hygiene they charge a parking lot of 40 dollars a day since the hotel does not provide parking the rooms have no privacy you clearly hear the conversation of the person next to you as if you were inside the room an elevator does not work also it is under construction and you really feel as if you were working and not on vacation I think they charge a very high price for a very low quality that stops dear much also you could hear fights in the rooms like a low quality lot.......la propiedad en fotos muy bonitas en realidad es otra el bar del hotel no existe es un almacen de materiales de construccion el bar de la pisina serrado ni agua para tomar ofrese el restaurante muy pobre el menu el baño lleno de agua y muy sucio de mala igiene cobran un parqueo en 40 dolares diarios puesto que el hotel no provee parqueo las habitaciones no tienen privacidad usted escucha claramente la conversacion del que este a su lado como si estubiera dwntro de la sulla un elevador no trabaja ademas esta bajo cocalidadnstrucciin y usted se siente realmente como si estubiera trabajando y no de vacaciones creo cobran un prexio muy alto por una calidad muy vaja que deja de dear mucho ademas se escuchaban peleas en los cuarto como u

- 5/5
The pool needed to be cleaned but it was still enjoyable.
- 4/5
Everything was ok .The nigh shift from desk was great. Explains what we need to do.
- 5/5
This hotel has a big pool and easy beach access.
- 4/5
The front desk lady was so friendly and kind. The location was the main reason we picked here. It's an older building being remodeled. The beach chairs walkable to the ocean what made it worth it
- 5/5
Staff
- 4/5
We liked the pricing and the proximity to the beach
- 5/5

- 4/5
had a great time
- 1/5
Room are dirty and loud nosies at night time
- 3/5
The hotel was under construction and not really “clean”! The staff (Ashley) was very understanding and accommodating! She definitely made the stay a lot better!
- 1/5
The bedding was dirty when we first came. We were told that they would remake our bed but there was still stains on the bedding after. The box spring and mattress had stains on them. Our unused towels were continuously dirty with stains on them. The towels that we exchanged for the dirty ones was still dirty. The AC had a crack in it which you could see outside. The bathtub was also dirty. The building is still under construction and there was only one elevator working. The bar wasn’t open at the pool. The got a steakhouse door in the lobby but it is used for storage. However the staff was very understanding
- 1/5
The rooms were very dated no microwave noisy the whole building smells like you have entered a trap house
- 4/5
Beautiful property but the cleaning was the issue
- 4/5
The only thing no microwave in the room there were a few bucks, but it was very nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly
- 4/5
This property needs to be upgraded the towels were way two hard the room wasn’t swept while we were there and the ice machine wasn’t working. Plus the bar was closed.
- 2/5
The building is old and in need of some major renovations that seem to have been started, however this hotel does not constitute a resort fee when there is nothing resort like about it. The pool was filthy and did not look to have been maintained. This truly borders the line with a motel not a resort. The best thing about the resort is the location to the beach.
- 3/5
Under construction and needs it. Good stay but definitely needs upgrades
- 3/5
The only accurate description of the hotel was the proximity to the beach.
- 4/5
I always stay in this Hotel, love location, staff are great, the only inconvenience is, not microwave in the room or at the lobby, this is very necesary specially when you travel with children.
- 2/5
The property need some upkeep! Can’t charge that much per night have an unkept property
- 2/5
ac wasnt working properly, washroom was very small, hot water issue, no oven to heat up the food
- 5/5
Very nice!! Cvs is a 3 minute walk away
- 5/5
I like customer service
- 3/5
It was ok. Not the best
- 5/5
Very nice and clean stay
- 2/5
Very close to mid beach area. Comfortable beds.
- 4/5
Only downside was the Reno’s but definitely worth coming back once again to see the make over…
- 5/5
The are was not too busy
- 1/5
The staff was so rude, the hotel didn’t look anything like the pictures. And the didn’t even give us a lot of towels
- 3/5
The room and bathroom very dirty Music in the hallways super loud I don’t recommend this hotel at all
- 3/5
We had a number of issues during our stay. While overall it was fine for our purposes, we had three nights of disruption that the night staff did not address. Also when the people upstairs caused a flood that came through the ceiling of our bathroom at midnight we were moved to another room the next day, but the night staff did convey the problem to the day staff and I had to follow up. We were moved to another room, but the view was nowhere near comparable, and I believe I did not get a reduction in my room cost as I should since I paid for an ocean view. On two other nights, other people on my floor were causing a major disturbance and the front desk staff did not address the issue causing several nights of disturbed sleep for us. This was a problem because my daughter was there for an intensive ballet training and she was tired for several of the days because of all of the nighttime disturbances. Overall an “OK” stay but if we ever return to Miami we will likely stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Only issue was they are doing update construction was loud
- 3/5
Once you add in the $36 resort fee and $40 a night parking this place becomes pretty expensive. The hotel was having construction done whilst i was there so did not use any facilities. Nothing is avaliable in the lobby, no water, coffee or snacks. Wouldnt stay here again
- 1/5
Lo único desagradable q salio una cucharacha detrás de la cabecera de la cama
- 1/5
To start off with, the bath was not clean-looking; it looked like it was still under construction. We could not turn down the AC unit, so it was blasting cold air constantly. To make it worse, we were bitten by what we suspect were bedbugs. We requested a room change; however, our new room had roaches.
- 4/5
The large room.
- 5/5
The hotel have a perfect location. It was clean and in good condition for the price. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Specially Hector at front desk he was polite and willing to make our stay the best possible
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly. Pool area needs better maintenance, music, shading, open bar in day time.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and rooms only bad thing dint like was the bathroom shower floor looks dirty had to wear sandals and place a towel in it to be able to shower .
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
I like it because it have a pool and is by the beach.
- 4/5
I would love to return once the renovation is complete because it had lots of potential it’s just not quite there yet.
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 5/5

- 3/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
Loved staying here and that it is on the beach with umbrella and chairs included
- 3/5
Good location and access to beach. Hotel is a 2 star so don’t expect anything else but still a good stay.
- 1/5
The room floor was crazy dirty, it seems it’s under construction so it’s dirty, by the pool area is disgusting, on top of that they charged me twice for my room and still have not refund me. Changing my whole plans
- 2/5
Construction going on at the hotel. They had blue plastic over the windows. They was drilling on the wall outside my window early in the morning couldn’t really rest because of all the noise. Had to pay for parking by the day because hotel does not have parking.
- 5/5
Estuvo muy bien cerca de la playa
- 4/5
It was ok needs few upgrades.
- 4/5
The pool bar was closed on 4th of July weekend. The front desk didn't explain where to get the towels for the pool.
- 5/5
Park accepts street for $40
- 5/5
This was a wonderful stay for us! Beach is so close and the pool is nice. Plus with the resort fee you get chairs and an umbrella at the beach! 10/10 would stay here again
- 4/5
Very welcoming and friendly staff, parking could have been a better situation but still not bad !
- 5/5
Our stay was exceptional and I highly recommend it. The hotel had a pleasant aroma upon entering, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and the tiki bar was outstanding. The hotel is also suitable for children and having the beach located directly behind the hotel made the stay well worthwhile. The ocean view was breathtaking and I will include my view below. We will definitely be returning.
- 4/5
Front desk manager gave us the option of a king bed with ocean view. Property is going through some renovations.
- 5/5
This hotel has very friendly staff and a clean place to stay. It is just steps away from the beach and restaurants.
- 2/5
The rooms were adequate a little small but not bad. Its the 7am jack hammers and saws for 8 hours that were not good. Also the AC in lobby stopped working last 2 days. Great location. Always had to ask front desk for towels instead of pool area. Come back in maybe a year when construction is completed.
- 4/5
Good hotel, needs updating but nice stay. Front desk staff very nice. Good location, great beach access!!
- 5/5
Good property. Very friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and good location
- 4/5
I was sad that beach front rooms windows are shut. It would have been a much better experience if we could open the window and enjoy the breeze.
- 2/5
Small and outdated
- 5/5
El servicio del personal sumamente buena gracias por todo
- 4/5
Is good
- 3/5
This was my third stay at the Lexington, and sadly, the service was the worst so far. The hotel is under renovation—which is good because the location and potential are great—but staff attitude is unacceptable. The front desk is often empty, no bell to ring, and when someone does appear, they seem tired, uninterested, and unhelpful. I asked about the ice machine and was told it’s on the 5th floor—it wasn’t working. Went back down and was asked, not told, to check the 10th floor—also out of order. No ice the entire 5-day stay. Housekeepers were far friendlier and more helpful than the front desk staff. There’s a great bar and grill downstairs with burgers and salad, but no flyers or mention of it anywhere. Another fail in communication. On the beach, the attendant told us at 1:30 PM he was closing in 10 minutes and made us set up our own lounge chairs. He was lazy, stood by doing nothing, and I had to beg him just to set up an umbrella—which he clearly didn’t want to do. Overall, the staff make you feel like you’re a burden. Lexington needs smiling, energetic professionals—not people who act like guests are an inconvenience.
- 5/5
The place is really nice and quiet. The staff is friendly and cooperative. Ocean view is beautiful and the hotel is a 2-minute walk from the beach.
- 5/5

Great for the price/ comfy beds and next to the beach
- 5/5
The manger she was everything I will be back again
- 3/5
I stayed at Lexington Hotel for four nights and the third morning a noisy machinery and construction noise woke me up before 8 am. I requested a room change and I got a response until 11 am and the room was lower quality than the one I booked. I felt really disappointed with the response to my request by the Hotel staff and manager.
- 5/5
Lots of construction on property but wasnt a borher really.
- 4/5
Everything is very clean, but many things are already worn, like the bathtub. It would be great if they offered breakfast.
- 5/5
Amazing ocean view. Great beach amenities
- 5/5
The property was actually beautiful. Hotel stay was super good my family had a wonderful time just wished the beds were queen size instead of full size and wish the bathroom was more cleaning and it looked outdated and old but would definitely come back with my family
- 2/5
Noisy,laguage barrier
- 5/5
Very good place
- 5/5
Hotel staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Had an amazing stay. Will definitely be coming back again!
- 5/5
Great easy check in and okay room. Sheets a bit dirty but I bring my own anyways.
- 3/5
It was clean, and the staff vas very friendly and attentive. Far from almost everything else ( ocean drive, lincoln rd, espanolla way…) Parking is $40 a day, and resort fee is also $40 a day…
- 5/5
Great location, with beach access and most importantly parking.
- 5/5
Very nice renovated
- 4/5
Though i di have to say, the hotel is a little old, it doesnt bother me tho. Overall it was a good hotel and i would come back
- 5/5
Decent hotel for the price had no problem with it.
- 5/5
Convenient and shopping, staff have great customer service
- 2/5
Do not stay here! The pool bar was nothing more than a dirty run down hut with a few bottles of bottom shelf alcohol. Rooms were big but a tiny bathroom that you could barely move in. No luggage rack or seats to sit in the room. We did not eat at their restaurant based on the condition of the so called “pool bar” as they were owned by the same company. Luckily there was a great hotel on the beach that we had amazing drinks and lunches at and then went out to dinner at a few different restaurants. Hotel was also undergoing some construction.
- 2/5
An passe tres satisfaite chmabre corre te vue sir la.baie mais enplacemenr personnel et securite ok
- 5/5
Great service matching great location.
- 2/5
This hotel was pretty but the description is deceitful. There is no dining on property. They sent us three hotels over to a Holiday inn. The Tiki bar was open one day of our six day stay and the bar was very limited. The restaurant - if you open the steakhouse doors the room is filled with toilets and is clearly not a restaurant. They really need to advertise under construction. The towels were very thin and stained. The room was nice and close to the beach. It was nice to have umbrellas and chairs included on the beach. However if you're looking for a property that you have amenities like dining and drinks please don't listen to their description as it's non existent. I would have stayed down the road elsewhere if I had known as that was #1 on our wish list for this trip. Very disappointing.
- 5/5
The hotel is located in a great area. The beach ia amazing, not crowded. The place is not new, there's no breakfast, but it's clean and the pool is big and clean. My family really enjoyed the time we spent here. We will return.
- 3/5
The blankets and sheets were very stained. Construction was going on, which the crew started working between 7-7:30 am each day we were there. The front desk staff was very nice.
- 3/5
The next room was very noisy. Could hear everything. Whiny, crying child.
