Great stay! Small parking lot.

Towels were NEVER available, they had us come back 3 separate times to ask for towels and kept telling us to come back in 30 min, we eventually just bought towels across the street. The hotel smells like MOLD… the ac blows cold STINKY air… it was just not a good experience for us.

It’s a nice place to sleep that’s right on the beach.

I like it because it was with beach view, room was great and very clean, andstaff very attentive. I have ammeneties that were really cool like have beach chairs and umbrella. I really like it and recommend it. Last thing but not least important, the resort charges 45 dollars per day for parking. Something that the resort should provide.

Once they found me in the system check in was smooth. I had an amazing view oceanfront with balcony. I would have liked a microwave in the room for my hot tea, especially after traveling so long, getting in late. The restaurant only serves breakfast. I would have liked to of ordered room service. I was upset that my beach chair and umbrella was taken away at 5:30 the next day. I had a six hour tour and wanted to then relax on the beach. The attendant pack up very loudly too. My stay was good for the short time there.

The location was great; the room was decently clean. The room did have a very musty/moldy smell. The AC wasn't either working well. To sum it up it was we didn't have the best experience and probably wouldn't use this hotel again

This was undoubtedly the worst. Best Western I've ever stayed in. The view was horrible. We looked out a rooftop. Couldn't Harley even see the ocean unless we hung out over the balcony. A serious tripping hazard going out into the balcony. Can't even believe that it would have passed code. Mold and mildew all over the bathrooms. They wouldn't trade us rooms after we checked in saying that they couldn't guarantee a suite which we had. See photos.

Beach view is good

They ran out of bath towels and the front desk people barely spoke English. They had a group of 150 girls show up for check in at the same time and obviously couldn’t handle the volume because it inconvenienced all their other guest. Staff were rude. Pool area was not maintained well. Beach towels looked like they were from Walmart. The walls are also paper thin.

The hotel overall was really nice and clean. The staff were very helpful as well. The breakfast was hot and delicious…. Serving sizes exceeded what I was expecting. The restaurant and bar food were good as well. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. The only thing I would say that was a concern was the hallways and elevators. They should be deep cleaned because they were a bit smelly like it needed to be replaced. Parking was iffy but parking garage not far from building, $25 a day I think. Perfect area for kids and family… not too busy on this end of the street.

This hotel overcharges for the quality they provide. The entire hotel is humid and muggy upon entry. The staff barely spoke English. My room stayed on 76 despite the air being on 65 and they claim all the rooms felt like that because it’s hot outside. The halls smell of urine and mold. The pool is filthy. The beds are firm. Only plus is some of the views from the oceanfront rooms. Breakfast not worth it either. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Parking sucked. I’m handicapped they told me i could park on the street for free with my placard. Not exactly true. You must apply through the city for that ability. Otherwise all else was great.

Great location with plenty of eateries nearby, with beach and promenade at the back door Comfortable and clean room. Staff was very helpful. We didn't like the room on the ground floor that we received on arrival, and we were promptly upgraded to a room on the top floor with a partial view of the ocean with no issue and for a reasonable price. Not enough sockets, considering that many travelers have phone, computer/tablet and watch, and wouldn't want to charge them at night so not to be tied to their rooms, but enjoy what Miami has to offer. Good thing we are seasoned travelers, and have more than one charger configuration, as well as power banks.

Great hotel that is cheap and has a perfect location for the few days we stayed there prior to the cruise. I would recommend this place as an inexpensive hotel close to the beach and restaurants, prior to heading to the Port on a cruise. We will be staying there again for our next cruise!

Beach Access & Pool Amenities Were Perfect!!

At check-in, the room I received was not the room I booked. I paid for an ocean view room, but instead I was given a partial parking lot view. When I tried to explain the issue, the staff spoke very harshly and unprofessionally. I asked to speak with a manager, but they only gave me a business card and told me to send an email. Later that night, the air conditioning stopped working and the room became extremely hot. The next morning, I found out the entire hotel AC system was down. Even the breakfast and restaurant area were very hot. I explained that I am diabetic and was not feeling well because of the heat, but the receptionist simply told me they did not know when the AC would be fixed and suggested I check out. I stayed only one night. My Expedia booking showed the room was around $215 + resort charge 30$ + resort fee tax 4.20$ but they charged me almost $409.85 and could not properly explain the extra charges. I still have not received my refund because Expedia has been unable to contact the hotel manager. This situation feels very unprofessional and suspicious. Very rude staff, poor management, and a horrible overall experience.

Despite the bad reviews, I still decided to stay at this location however I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel. The lobby was clean and the room was clean and ice cold. I wish I could give a rave review to the staff; the staff was rude and not accommodating at all

Nice close to beach

Through Expedia, it stated that we were going to have a microwave we did not. The air conditioning went off for one night and in Florida weather that was horrific. There were fruit flies all in our room, but we didn’t have any food in our room. The carpet was dirty. The rooms were poorly kept and the walls in the rooms were not painted. They didn’t have any face towels. But the food was good. The Wagyu burger was really great. Overall stay, I give them a fair but I will not be returning to that hotel. Also, there is not parking at least not free. You have to pay $45 a night if you are able to get into the parking which is not guaranteed. We had to park on the street.

First the good. Close to the beach. Chairs and towels included. Room had a good view and a balcony. They upgraded us since we paid for early check in and the room was not ready at the early check in time. The not as good was the water pressure was awful. The hot water was hit and miss. The a/c had some trouble cooling the room. The room itself could use upgrading. Overall not a bad place to stay for a quick weekend getaway.

Great beach view from our room, and loved the beach was right there for us to use. We appreciated the loungers at the beach as well.

Balcony doors need some maintenance... They were hard to open and hurt my foot. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Carpets need upgrade or change materials as it holds a strong smell. Also, AC unit needs maintenance. Lowered the temperature, but it wasn't enough to keep the room cold.

Need updates. All the hotel doors located on the 4th floor are metal doors that definitely needs to be replaced. Our dood didn't fit the frame right and we had to push hard on it for it to open.

So this was our 2nd time staying here. First, the staff is outstanding. They will do anything to make sure your stay is fantastic :) We love the fact that beach chairs and umbrellas do not cost extra like they do at every other hotel. Also, we love the location. Mid-beach is quieter. There is a CVS right across the street with just about everything you need....and normal CVS pricing. If you are looking for a high-end resort then this is not it. If you are wanting a friendly, clean hotel with everything you need, then this is your place. We stayed in a suite which was nice and ridiculously affordable. I will stay here again......

Good location by the beach. Staff was rude with little to no help with information. Was told there was no parking , and all parking was down the road at a third party Parking garage that cost $45 for 6 to 8 hours. Got to hotel left to eat and the parking cost was $18. Then $45 to leave the next morning. As for the room, the Air conditioning ran all night and day, and never got below 73 degrees.

The bathroom shower has no curtain.

Bed Wasn’t up to date on interior designs. Didn’t feel or look nice

The view was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool seemed a little on the older side, but it was still fun to be in. All in all, we really had a great time.

Great location. We got lucky and got a parking space that was behind the hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful. They also offered a late check out, which we took advantage of because we had a late flight, however, we were disturbed twice with a door knock asking us when we were checking out even though we paid for a late check out. The hotel needs to keep up with who paid for late check out and aviod disturbance.

I would not recommend staying at this place. It's very rundown. The pool is disgusting. There is no security. There is no one there to help. It's speed up and rundown When we got to the front desk, it was supposed to be for three nights at one fixed price and then they charged my card $1000 And said it was for parking to use the pool and everything else you couldn't use the pool it's disgusting The balconies were full of bird poop. No one has cleaned them, and there was broken chairs.

Everything needs cleaned and updated. Bathroom and carpets were gross. Check in experience was awful. There was a woman employee in our room watching tv when we arrived.

the hall carpet needs replacement on 8th floor. But i like the convenience of microwave, laundry abs free coffee. Gym is small but the 55 lbs maximum is nice .

It was clean, and updated Coffee was not free. (Please, at least have free coffee and water). No continental breakfasts. Your breakfast at coconut Charlie’s was high priced, and breakfast potatoes were out of a box -yuk! You water tasted like sewage!

Hotel was clean but outdated, and the room had a musty smell maybe from the AC. We liked the close access to the beach which included two beach chairs & an umbrella at no extra cost. They do offer a breakfast/ lunch buffet but I found it costly. For the price of one night I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels.

I got a king bed room with a partial view and it was phenomenal! The partial view was actually great because on one end you could see the beach and on the other side you could look at city skyline of Miami! Absolutely stunning! The beach has free lounge chairs under umbrellas for hotel guest and free breakfast! The bed was insanely comfy and felt high quality!

Nice locations

Had the double bed room with ocean view. The view was amazing, ocean to the left and city skyline to the right. Property needs some updates but they were actively working on them- as example during our stay new lamppost on the walk down deck to the ocean were installed and the gate door to the ocean was fixed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Needs major remodeling.

One day I accidentally walked to the Lower Level of the hotel and could see water all over the lower level floor by the staircase area which probably means the hotel has a leak but I didnt see anyone addressing the issue which I think is very concerning. I would not recommend as I didn't get the room type I paid for and because of the condition the hotel is in which did not make me and my family feel safe.

The place is too old and hasn’t been updated, the staff really don’t care about the customers they even make fun of me because I arrived at 5:15 pm and supposedly they offer 2 chairs and umbrella for the beach but it was just until 5pm. And it was the way it was told to me it was very des respectful. Also the property offer for extra cost parking but it was full and we had to park 4 blocks away from the hotel super inconvenient. I do not recommend this hotel to no one for the cost of this location is super expensive and it doesn’t offer anything.

Well located on the beach. The rooms facing north have no balcony, and the windows are locked closed. Unfortunately, the sound insulation between rooms/floors is very poor, and I could hear conversations clearly until midnight, starting up again at 6am. I use hotels for sleeping....I can't stay here again.

Room has no microwave

We did have to move rooms after complaints of cockroaches, which did take over a day to sort we were told to go to the desk at two as our new room would be ready which it wasn’t we had to go back at four and it was nearly ready, which isn’t helpful when you’ve got plans. I need to get ready. The housekeeping were inconsistent and you can’t be in the room whilst they are doing the housekeeping, one day they will come at 9 am, the next day they may come at 4 pm so you can’t plan on when to be in and out of the room.

Hotel needs significant renovation in all aspects. They have a great location and can get away with the lack of attention. They compensate by offering a good deal.

Towel and Bedsheets are old and not cleaned properly.. and they charge more.. you can get good hotel with this price in same miami beach locality… Disappointing experience…

We arrived early - I appreciated having our luggage stored and having access to the pool/beach before check in

I booked a partial ocean view balcony with two queen beds. The room size was adequate and the view of the beach was lovely (it also gives you a partial view of the roof which is not so lovely). The room was mostly clean. It could have probably used a more attentive vacuuming, as I kept stepping on things near the balcony door (inside). Generally speaking the hotel was adequate - as we don’t spend a lot of time in it. Access to beach was quick and easy. Pool and pool bar were sufficient. The challenges were the parking which “sold out” every day at noon. So we had to park two blocks away for ~$50/night and $30 for in-out access. And while the hotel was mostly quiet W-F, Friday night was a totally different experience. We had loud rowdy neighbors that made it super hard to sleep between 3 am - 5 am (presumably after the clubs closed).

Restaurant service was poor. Bars were rarely open. Water dripped onto the carpet from the air conditioner in the ceiling of our suite. Staff was not friendly or helpful.

The first issue was how “greasy” the floor in the room felt. You could barely stand up on it as your feet would slide (with shoes on). We brought it up to the front desk and were told all of the house keepers had gone home and that there wasn’t anything that could be done that day and we would have to come back in the morning. The second issue was parking as we were lead to believe there was parking at a reduced cost, next to the hotel. Turns out that wasn’t true, it cost me 60 dollars for less the 20 hours. Miami it self was amazing so the trip wasn’t a total flop.

We rented a room for three nights, asked for a room with a view of the beach, but the beach was almost invisible. The rooms are 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. The staff is friendly. In general, if you want to save on a room, then the option is good, if you want a more luxurious vacation, then you need to look for another hotel.

Rooms were not well maintained and not cleaned thoroughly. Front desk staff was rude and spent most of their time hiding in the back not available to guests. Cannot call the front desk as they will not answer since they hide in the back. Overall cleanliness of hotel was dirty and had very strong chemical odor in lobby. Common bathrooms did not have toilet paper. Elevator near beach/pool exit smelled like urine. They take towels from your room but will not replenish them as well as they do not replenish pool towels. Only good part is beach access.

HORRIBLE!!!!! There were literal piles of pubes (shavings) on my bathroom floor, the staff was rude and didn’t have a clue what was going on, they said they didn’t have the room I booked then magically they did but it was GROSS. I cruise out of Miami a lot and will NOT stay here again and will NOT recommend to any of my many fellow travelers!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We loved that the beach is literally walking distance!! Night staff attendant was not helpful or friendly when we addressed a concern. Parking was expensive and very tight. We didn't like that breakfast wasn't included in the stay like it is at most best westerns. They charge for every little thing and it's unneccesary to be honest. Those are a few things to be mindful of but overall our stay was good.

The breakfast was hot and fresh and we booked a room with a balcony and beach view, but honestly hardly ever went onto it because we were enjoying the beach!

The hotel was not fancy, but it met our needs. Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants, on the water, breakfast option near the lobby and even beach umbrellas and chairs included. For Miami Beach, the price and offerings were fantastic. We will definitely return!

Location was great, but the rooms, and general standard of the hotel was very poor. It was all so tired, dirty and shabby. Other than the location being great, the coffee machine in reception was the next best thing. We were very disappointed with our stay.

The hotel is in a great location as far as access to the beach.I had a great room with a partial ocean view .A CVS is right across the street and a small market is about two blocks away.The fitness room is the size of a closet but I didn't choose this hotel for it.The staff was courteous and helpful and the hotel restaurant was nice(I really liked the breakfast buffet.Overall I had a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel t anyoe who was planning a vacation in Miami Beach.

Check in was awful, the staff member that checked me in was very unfriendly and barely spoke to me, didn’t even meet and greet welcome or anything… I was staying for a week and to start it off with this off putting encounter sucked. We had a 13 hour travel day with 2 kids. Then came into someone who hates their job. She took a very long time and I was wondering what she was doing, she then presented me with a new reservation that was $1200 more ($3200) than what I booked for and attempted to charge me for it as if I was a walk in and had no reservation when I asked why was it this much she said that is the rate I booked which is false, she refused to look at my Expedia paperwork… I had to ask for the manager to get figured out she did look at my paperwork and my reservation was honored but I’m willing to bet if you don’t have your paperwork handy you’d get charged more. Neither of them were able to provide clear instructions on how to get your beach chairs and umbrella, just told me to go to the beach which I did and had to ask the surrounding beach workers at another hotel for further instructions. I also unfortunately had to do laundry, DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID DOING LAUNDRY HERE. I started one quick single load of laundry at 1030pm and it would not dry. It was not dry at 12 am, 1 am, 2 am. I finally just loaded like $12 of time on there (at this point am over $20 for this load of laundry) and went to bed it was dry in the morning after what has to be 4-5 hours of dry

Liked that it was on the beach but had an issue with the hotel alarms going off all night non stop and waking my kids up.

The view from the ocean room view was unbelievable. The rooms were really nice, the pool area was older and could definitely use an upgrade in comparison to the other hotels on the street.

Loved the water view room. Totally worth it. Excellent if you want to have beach chairs and literally watch the sunrise from your room. Use the Miami parking garage that is over the bridge about three blocks away, instead of the only one near the hotel which was exponentially more expensive. We spent $16 on parking instead of 120 by using that trick. There's a small pull in for drop off and loading of passengers. The restaurant was NOT open for dinner Friday night?? But plenty of restaurants very close by. Front desk service was bad (didn't answer phone and no one there at 7am when we left). But room was secure and can't beat the location for the price.

The concierge was very helpful in helping us book a bus trip to key west, how to use the trolly and also get a cab to the airport. Our room was perfect, the view was incredible and we loved everything about it.

The staff was unfriendly. the check-in process took like 'forever', they were highly understaffed. We waited for almost 1.5-2 hrs to get to our rooms. The entrance to the property is one of the tacky and easily missable one. There is no valet on property and the limited parking 'hidden' feature had us spend extra 150$ just on parking. The pool was unclean as well. Overall I would not suggest this property to anyone and I will myself never go here

Initial room was wrong (2 double beds) and at first they were not going to change it to correct room (king) - had to insist. Couldn’t tell on beach what chairs and umbrellas were for best western. Toilet seat was broken. Parking was an issue - your garage was supposedly full but we can’t reserve parking when room is booked Had to park down street two blocs which was more expensive and couldn’t take car in and out freely.

We chose a room with balcony and I highly recommend as the view of Sunrise and ocean is beautiful. The staff were courteous and rooms were clean.

Rooms were tiny. I literally couldn’t sit on the toilet and I’m not a fatty. Just a tall guy. Breakfast buffet was very expensive for what it was. This is a two star hotel in a four star location on the beach.

Hotel was short staff and it had an awful smell with over scented cleaning products that had a strong chemical smell. Would not recommend or ever stay here.

Pros: beach Location and kind housekeeping staff. Cons: pool is sad. So is exercise room. Restaurant is sad too.

They constantly ran out of beach towels and simply redirected you to the pool or beach. Additionally, when they collected the dirty towels from the bathroom, they didn't replace them with clean ones. Often, we had to wait over 30 minutes for fresh towels. The entrance doors were always open, and swiping our card wasn't necessary, which I believe is a safety issue. I won't be going back.

Unfortunately, We booked and paid for an executive suite but I ended up in an ocean view room with no microwave no living room. When we tried to check in we were asked how many and we said 2 but apparently the executive suite is for 6 people and they assumed I wouldn’t find out that they reassign us but did not get any credit or anything in exchange. I called after we got to the room and the explanation was that they were booked. It was my birthday and that’s Why I made the reservation in advance.

Handed the young lady my credit card, but she had trouble swiping my credit card and told me to give her another card. I said no that this expense had to go on my company card. She rolled her eyes at me and stared. I asked her to get a manager. She did and they keyed everything in without issue. Again - very transactional - bnot nice or apologetic. I chalked this up to a bd or hectic day on their part and let it go. It was a bit of a pain point, but not a big deal. Finally got my room at 4 pm. Bottom floor, #104. This room was literally about 6 feet away from tables and the front lobby area where at night people laughed and talked very loudly. The room was nice enough, but... it felt like I was sleeping in a train station. Thankfully there is a CVS across the street so I went over there to buy some ear plugs. For nearly $500 a night, I expected amazing service and and a great room. This room was ok, the view was of another building. IT was loud in the room, hard to here the TV over the lobby noice on one night, almost impossible to sleep until the lobby quieted down. Sadly, I paid more for the beach behind the hotel and didn't receive the "Beach Resort, Nice Hotel" expereince I thought I would. Live and learn...

The day we checked on January 28,2026, I reported to the front desk/guest services our room had a foul odor and my husband killed a cockroach in the bathroom and the bedding didn’t appear to be clean in addition to the Bathroom had rust and corrosion. The bedding was changed and bathroom was cleaned the following day. Also, on January 30 through February 3, 2026, our room had no heat and was told by maintenance staff when they checked our room thermostat on January 31st, the hotel rooms only had Air conditioning. In addition, the sliding glass door and windows to the balcony were wet with condensation in the inside due to cold weather. No heaters were available. Warmer bedding was not offered. When calling the front desk, guest services or housekeeping in the afternoon, evening, or night no one answers the phone. The room has dingy carpets and furniture, poor lighting.

When we arrived, there was someone outside our door screaming profanities. We tried multiple times to contact the front desk by phone and in person, but no one was available to help. This went on for about 30 minutes before the person eventually left. We were also placed in an ADA-accessible room that we did not book. Because of the layout, we couldn’t use the shower without flooding the bathroom floor. On top of that, our room was located right next to the lobby, and we were kept awake throughout the night by people coming in and out and making noise. When we asked to move to a different room, we were denied any assistance or offer to help make our stay more comfortable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for a birthday trip. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

The staff here is not helpful at all. There was no hot water on our room and their response was “we don’t have other rooms.” I called hotels.com to see if they could help and the front desk woman watched the phone ring instead of picking it up! The oceanfront rooms don’t mean that- they are ocean view only and might be blocked by a building (like ours was). The restaurant hours don’t matter either because they close when they want to. They closed more than a hour early every night we were there. The rooms are very rundown with damp carpet so just be prepared that you are paying for an awful experience by choosing this hotel.

Other than the manager everyone was rude and disrespectful my girlfriend and I. Do not disturb notes were clearly displayed on the door and they still entered when we weren’t present.

Room cancelled due to not showing up at 4pm when on preregistration I stated I would be there at 6:30. Made a big deal they gave me a “much more expensive room for the same price” when in reality it only had a balcony that wasn’t used by us. The bathroom had green stuff on wall that looked like toothpaste maybe. Under sink was disgusting and looked to be mold. Staff was rude and talking about us right in front of us. Hallway smelled of marijuana. Elevators had spit in the corners. Hallway had a puddle of pee. Paid way too much for this kind of place.

Location is very good, right in the beach. Overall, good budget option, but if you have a bit more money to spend, I’d upgrade to a more fresh option.

Stayed in a standard king. The sound proofing was not great and doors banged closed. The other con was the bathroom was tiny. But room was big enough. The hotel was clean and run efficiently. All interactions with the front desk were very positive. The best pro was you are right on the ocean walkway and the beach is right there! The resort fee covers 2 chairs, towels and umbrella. It was a good value at the time we stayed.

Service problematic as staff only spoke Spanish. Room could have been cleaner, beds not made up properly, constant request for towels but we were there for two weeks!

In the summer it's a very good hotel, but for the winter holidays I don't recommend it; they don't turn on the pool heater. You can't swim in the pool at the end of the year. I don't advise anyone to go at the end of the year. I called beforehand to confirm, but when I got there, they hadn't turned it on. They gave many excuses, saying it was broken, but I didn't see the pool heater, so don't go there at the end of the year.

Have a hot continental breakfast available that you pay for. It is decent and includes customized omelettes and good variety. Our room was dirty when we arrived -- literally could see hair in our shower and on the bathroom floor. Along with fuzz, hair and crumbs etc under the end table and around the baseboards. I took this to the front desk who brought this to housekeeping's attention promptly. Housekeeping came to our room very quickly with a dirty swiffer cloth, squirted cleaner on the floors, only pushing the hairs etc around. Alas, it was not any cleaner than when we arrived. We gave up mentioning this to the front desk. Ended up showering in our flip flops and didnt take shoes off while in the room. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were completely out (the ones attached to the wall) - asked front desk if we could get these refilled -- again, these bottles remained empty for the duration of our stay. Good thing there was shower gel at least. Good location to the beach but other than that, an incredibly disappointing stay. At least we didnt have bed bugs.

Staff was unfriendly. Room size was excellent; room balcony had litter/trash on it. Beach was phenomenal but the beach attendant made my family of 5 turn in our 3 chairs (the maximum limit) at 4:30pm each day.

Unfortunately we had cockroaches in the toilet for the last 3 days of our stay. We tried to tell the cleaning lady that goes to the room but I guess she didn’t understand and just gave us towels. The kids keeps screaming the whole time they spot em and won’t even go inside the bathroom. Finally we killed it on our checkout day and left it there for them to see. Besides that… I’m sure it would have been better.

The place is very good for the price. Customer service is excellent, beach , pool etc. we have a great time.

The room was disgusting at best. If you need a handicap accessible room don’t book here. I think they remodeled the regular rooms but left the accessible rooms as is. The room was dirty, toilet seat was broken and the outlets looked like they had a fire or a fire was going to start if anything was plugged in. Room service if you can call them that left the room door wide open and made excuses as to why it was open. Never will stay here again!

The room was not up to my standards from previous best Western plus hotels that I stayed at. When tried to communicate with management for a refund, they ignored my calls after initially telling me to call back in the morning. I was scheduled for a five nights stay and I stayed one night. They refused to give me my refund and ignored all of my calls.

The front desk clerks were rude and unhelpful. The house cleaners were just as rude and didn't want to give clean face towels. The view was amazing.

Hotel isnt up kept at all. The doors are to every room seems to be painted over to cover whatever is going on. Carpet is lifting from the ground. No security whatsoever there but it's clearly needed. Bathrooms looked run down mold areas around the caulk of the tub. Bathrooms are so small. Found hair inside of the shower curtain. So I wonder how well that room was cleaned before our arrival. No parking has to find it on the street every night. Good location but would never stay there again.

And all while patrons were screaming, for us to move our car and no one came to descalate the tension. I never had such a terrible experience checking into a hotel, even after paying up to $300 a night for a room. It seems that paying more doesn't always get you what you want, not for this hotel anyway. Breakfast was just a glorified continental breakfast. There was no menu you serve yourself with the buffet that you can get at any hotel for no extra cost. But this hotel charge for there buffet continental breakfast , ridiculous. I always say you live and learn. I've learned and I'll never stay at that hotel again.

The Hotel is very well situated right on the Collins Avenue , very easy to access CVS and Walgreen Pharmacies for your daily needs - food , drinks etc Pool and Bar by the pool and a big terass with chairs and tables Resto on place ! Very friendly staff . It’s a very enjoyable vacation Hotel Resort that I highly recommend . The only thing I may suggest to be more reliable is the WIFI , disconnecting all the time , being obliged to again and again adding the password and user name ! We loved , enjoyed our stay by the Best Western Plus ! Thank you , we will be back

Honestly speaking, the location of the hotel is perfect. The CVS grocery store is just at the opposite side of the hotel and very convenient. The beach is beautiful. However, only the day shift front desk staff can speak English and the room service was terribly and unbelievably bad which we had never experienced before. Always missing some room service for every single day when we stayed there for the whole week. Every night, we were back to the hotel after the day tours, found out missing something, could not get any help from the hotel, since no one speaks English for the night shift. The calls to the front desk were never been answered. Do not provide the morning call service, etc.

Location was great. Right on the beach and walking distance to many places. Room was a bit odd. There were 2 closets on both sides of the wall when you walk in, which made the bathroom smaller and the door to the bathroom facing the room. And we saw a roach in the drawer when we were looking around to make sure we didn’t forget anything. Glad we didn’t see it earlier. We would’ve been paranoid.

The parking spot they gave me looked like it was more for a jet ski at that point, why even put somebody in that spot and have them pay for it

We arrived there early as it was an early morning short flight from Toronto. After a while the room was ready for us to check-in slightly earlier. We were showering our 5 months old baby when the water supply happened to have an issue. I believe it was a bad day for us. My infant had to be brought partially bathed and that experience put me off. I would not blame the resort as it could happen to any hotel at any time. The fixtures in the bathroom were slightly outdated and did not suit my expectations. Besides, the location of the resort and the oceanfront room were pretty decent.

My friends purse was stolen from the pool area with her money, credit cards and important documentation. She had to make a police/incident report. Horrible experience. Besides that loved our room and hotel location.

Location and proximity to beach is great. Also easy access to free trolleys. However, AC is capped at 80• so you’d be better off / more comfortable sleeping outside. Breakfast buffet is a joke also and not worth $50 for two people. Only food available was old eggs and pancakes and some potatoes. No fruit or meat. Head across the street to the deli instead.

Room was good for the money. The air conditioning didn’t work that great, coldest it got all night was 72°. Parking was terrible, small spaces. Pool is only open from Sunrise to Sunset and was on the lower side. Staff we encountered were all friendly.

I would not book this hotel again. Our air conditioner leaked all the floor. The shower strength went up and down. Th bar by the pool is down below the pool so you cannot see anything but a wall. There were no parking spots left when we arrived as well. Three are so many nicer ones than this one.

They don’t have two pools and the one pool they do have doesn’t look like either in the pictures. I didn’t get the balcony that i paid extra for. The front desk attendant rolled her eyes and made weird faces at my mother when she was just being nice to her. The manager got an attitude with my mother for telling him about the terrible experience and told her to walk away because he wasn’t playing with her. Then told me to not let their poor customer service make my birthday experience bad. Like what type of weird gas lighting are you on. Then charge a BUNCH of taxes and fees which were supposed to be included in the price. Long story short this was THE WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life.

We really liked this property. The staff were nice and accommodating to all our requests such as when we asked for extra beach towels after hours, and leaving the pool open for almost an extra hour. The rooms were a bit dated but that’s no big issue because they were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We really liked the balcony with the 2 chairs and table, the view was also beautiful (we had a partial ocean/pool view). The restaurant food was pretty good in our opinion and the staff was friendly, especially the older gentleman (Rumaldo?). The foyer area was very spacious and ample too - great for hanging out and waiting. Overall, I think I will be coming back here because everything met my expectations.

I’m disappointed with the service provided, no available front deck assistance, my suite had a leak dripping from the ceiling. I requested ocean view, I got the view of the top and side of the building with rusted exhaust chimney. No parking available because they parking is limited.

Excellent location. Comfortable rooms and lobby and dining room. Breakfast was great. Walkable to some good dining options and opposite a CVS Pharmacy for any supplies needed. Beach and boardwalk behind the hotel was a great attraction too.

Firstly, the check-in process was less than welcoming. The staff seemed a bit unengaged, which made the arrival feel less inviting. The receptionist should always be present at the desk to welcome guests, as this small gesture can make a big difference in creating a warm atmosphere. Additionally, the lack of hotel parking was a bit inconvenient. We had to park on the street for the duration of our stay, which wasn't a huge issue for us, but it would have been nice to have a designated parking area available. Overall, while my stay was satisfactory, enhancing the check-in experience and addressing parking availability would significantly elevate the guest experience at this hotel.

First few days were good. Following the first three days, cleaners came very early, so we requested new towels but not a room clean. No towels arrived, requested at front desk twice after this, no towels were brought. Room not cleaned for last three days (and towels never brought or replaced despite the requests). Shower gel ran out in this time. Most digits on the safe did not work so unusable. Sockets damaged and loose.

started off when I checked in at around 12 o’clock in the morning, the room that they gave me was dirty. It was hair in the bed and stains on the sheets . the hallway smelled like urine and all the doors were scratched up. it felt more like a motel. The pool was very small and was dirty it didn’t appear that they were cleaning it on a regular basis. direct beach access was a plus but I would not stay here again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

We paid $30 to get into our room early and upon entering the bathroom in the room we found a flood on the floor. We immediately called lobby and got the flood remediated and maintenance came to dry everything. When we left for the afternoon and returned in the early evening we found the flood had returned at around 9:30 in the evening. This time service did not show up until 10:30 at night and I needed to put my two young kids to bed. We were asked to change rooms at 11pm. This process took too long and clearly something was wrong with the plumbing. I was never refunded the $30. I was never able to speak to a manager to try and get sometype of compensation for my trouble.

This hotel needs some repairs and additional service standards to justify charging the customers the rate they charge. The hotel is overpriced for what they provide. The bed was comfortable, the rooms never cooled down to the set temperature. The bathroom are dirty and in need of repairs. After visiting the front desk it was clear that other people were struggling with their rooms as well. The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night and after walking down 4 flights of stairs the staff at the front desk just said it keeps happening and they can’t do anything about it. There was very little information provided.

The hotel is generally dated and dirty. Parking facilities are poor to non existent. The staff are unfriendly and helpful. There is no chance of a sunbed around the pool which was also dated and dirty. Only 2 sunbeds given on the beach despite there being 3 of us in the room. Lots of free sunbeds but there was no chance of an extra one, so one of us had to sit on a towel. Poor location. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Cons: Just like the other reviews, once we entered the room, I did do an early check in, you can tell that they quickly cleaned the room. The room smelled like the lobby for almost two days. The sheets were slightly dirty. The floors were incredibly dirty that we had to wear socks or shoes walking around. Although there wasn’t a microwave, they should provide one for ocean balcony rooms. It is an old property so I guess you can’t expect too much. Pros: The property was convenient as it was right next to the beach. Lots of restaurants/bars that are walkable to. CVS that’s 24 hours across the street. The beach view is the best thing!

The hospitality and maintenance here are truly outstanding. I greatly appreciate the direct beach access from the property, and the complimentary shacks on the beach add to the relaxing atmosphere. The beach is not overcrowded, which enhances the experience.

Great stay right on the beach would stay again and recommend to friends and family

My wife and my two grandchildren and myself, we check in and given a room, soonest we get out of the elevator we sense a bad smell, continue to the room and the bad smell was worse, we ask for a different room and at the second request they give us a different room, we supposed to stay two nights but the bud smell on the hallways force us to book an other hotel and left. We loose our money for the second night but can’t stayed any more.

Views from the balcony were amazing, the location is great. Pool area is beautiful but there was lots of sargassum on the beach. Room was ok. Totally worth upgrade for the beach view balcony. Parking is horrible. They didn't have any availability when we first got there and it would have cost $40 per night. We did find a close parking garage for the same price. The free trolley stops right near the hotel and it's air conditioned, great way to get around.

The air conditioning didn’t work, and the room was unbearably hot — it was impossible to sleep.On top of that, the guy working at the beach was super rude. Very disappointing experience.

• Check-in Experience: The check-in time was at 4 PM, which felt unnecessarily late and took away a significant portion of our day — especially inconvenient for guests arriving from long distances. • Customer Service: The staff were surprisingly unhelpful and impolite, which left a poor first impression and affected our overall experience. • Room Concerns: We had specifically booked a full ocean view room but were given only a partial side view. Additionally, the bathroom ceiling was leaking, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. • Noise Issues: The in-room cooler was extremely loud and made it difficult for us to get a proper night’s sleep. • Facilities: The hotel’s facilities are quite outdated and not well maintained, making the overall stay uncomfortable and far from what we expected. Overall, this property has potential due to its location, but significant improvements are needed in customer service, facility upkeep, and room quality to offer a truly enjoyable guest experience.

The facilities are very old, very little water came out of the bathroom shower, the air conditioning makes a lot of noise.

Took @ hotel ok, down the block @ Tavern- excellent. Concierge @ hotel awesome, courteous, friendly, and informative. Pool, beach staff, awesome. Pool, good quiet experience, unless there are children in the pool, they are not quiet- no big deal. Gym not bad- small with basic equipment.

We stay 5 night Ocean Front View. First night the AC broke down, I request for another room they only give us 1/3 of Ocean front. We have no choice. We stay what they give us. Kids did not happy with the new room. The last day the kids and my wife got bed bug bites. Not happy staying Here.

Great place for vacation

The beach access was amazing

I booked two night on 07/08-10/25. There were many issues about fire alarm. First time around 9pm. and again around 3am. There was so terrible night for my vacation. The hotel couldn’t explain and didn’t offer any compensation. I was so tired cause didn’t have any good sleep at night. So bad experience.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Parking is limited, the parking attendant was so nice and went all out and found me a spot. No microwaves in rooms, one downstairs LL for guest. The pizza place that puts flyers under the room doors never delivered and was rude when we inquired as to what happened. Short Lyft ride to Ocean drive.

This hotel is in desperate need of repairs and it shows it. The hotel and rooms smell so bad probably mold. Air conditioning units suck. We originally had an ocean front room and we had to get moved because we had a water leak from the AC a slider door that did not lock, and after they repaired the AC it did not cool enough and felt musty in there. Although it’s at a great price point I would skip this one.

Right off the beach is a plus. I wasn’t a fan of how there was very little parking on sight. Wish that they took care of their bar areas better. The billiards table needs updated badly.

Rooms need microwaves

Listen clearly. Don’t get hopes up high leaving your home and think you’re booking here to enjoy. Started with booking understand ocean view balcony is differ from oceanfront balcony. Second I didn’t expect to be the hotel exterminator. Had to purchase spray from several roaches being present. All to wait until today to speak with a manager (wasn’t available until Monday) what if I checked out Sunday? Definitely look at reviews of this property and take them into consideration before booking here. So, after manager take off 1 night I still had to pay resort fees and taxes for the 1 comp night. Not to mention this trip was my bday weekend!

The only have ao much parking and not enough for the amount of pwople staying there. You have to sign up for a apot between 1-4pm which is crazy because we were always out and about at that time. We had to pay for a more expensive parking garage down the street.

We requested early check in, however we did not get our room until 3:30pm (which we understand, we were just hoping for earlier). The hotel is conveniently located, so we were able to walk to lunch and grab snacks at a nearby store. For dinner, we ate in the lobby restaurant, which was delicious and decently priced. Our room was lacking. Once again, there were only 2 towels in the room, which does not work for a family of 4 after a day at the pool/beach. Our walls were covered in dirty handprints. The room smelled stale and musty. The soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower kept opening. There was only one coffee pod. The room was super loud and we were woken up by dumpster lids opening and closing all night as well as doors and hall noises from other guests. All in all, the use of the pool/beach for the day made this hotel well worth it, however I’d consider staying elsewhere if I was booking a longer stay.
