The Hilton and Marriott share a nice attached shopping mall. I also liked the bayfront park nearby. It would have been nice if the hotel had more than one dinning option. They have a lot of their space devoted to convention halls.

No staff, AI answering reception phone, spent 3 nights there and never could order room service as AI couldn’t understand! We went down to reception to complain and the girl said she can’t answer the phone as she is the only one there! Room amenities non existent and mini bar empty, not even water and no turn down service! We had a suite and the worst hotel we stayed in in 20years for that money!

When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready and when I did get a room, it was the wrong room Then I had to come all the way downstairs to get the right room key and the plumbing in the room with the shower is on. It sounds like a boat when the rooms around you take a shower you still hear that same noise. The toilet water comes out of the toilet when you flush it. I did not enjoy my stay. I hope this helps.

We did have one problem - our balcony door wouldn't open. We mentioned this to the staff at the front desk on our way out to pick up a few things (incidentally, there is a Publix just a 5 minute walk away for snacks, bevs and forgotten sundries), and when we returned 30 minutes later, it had been fixed. We definitely enjoyed the lovely view from there! We discovered a sports bar on the ninth floor of the condo building next door - Mike's at Venetia. They had good food, reasonable prices, lots of sports on, and a welcoming atmosphere, if you enjoy that kind of restaurant. We would certainly book here again for a pre-cruise stay.

We stayed on a Friday night before a Saturday morning cruise departure. There was a wedding party at the pool deck that evening. We were on the 25th floor and it sounded like the DJ was in our room until 10:45. So much for sleep. Other than that, the breakfast was very good the next morning and the staff (Alex Especially) was very accommodating. I realize that we may have caught it on an "off" night, but still.

Check in process was painfully slow. Staff need to be retrained. Staff member typed into computer for over 5 minutes without speaking. Then to be told room wasn’t ready. After coming back and checking in, strangers used their keycard and walked into our room. Complained to manager and the smallest concern and apology was provided.

I would never go back here ever again, rude staff, I bought breakfast for our family and they charged everyone, showed them that I bought through booking.com, they did not care, 5 staff members interrupted my breakfast with my family to discuss the free breakfast, could not relax, kept going to front desk, then didn’t even get a chance to eat breakfast and got charged for a sip of coffee, $366. no one cared, no one helped, none of their vendors machine worked on all the floors, no one had water to buy there. Horrible dirty place. Bathroom and floors wasn’t clean, I was overcharged and now I have to fight to get our money back. I would tell anyone who wants to come and visit Miami, never stay at this hotel. So very rude!!! Very rude staff, they didn’t care about their guest!!! Even their manager was the worst!!!

The facility was clean and my room was cleaned every day. Also I arrived early and was given access to my room. The breakfast was poor, the offering was limited, egg and ham was the order of the day. Had to be requesting water from the front desk, water should be placed in every room. They hosted a major Caribbean event but did not cater to Caribbean people. Charges for collection of packages was a rip off. Also I paid for resort fee via booking.com and was still charged said fee by the hotel. This $140 fee needs to be refunded

The room was good sized and in good condition, with the exception of the hot water (See below). The hotel is in a good location and there was easy access to the Beach, downtown, and Brickell. First, the electronic key to our room died and I had to go to the front desk twice to get the issue resolved. Second, the hot water was scalding hot, which a required a visit from the hotel's engineering department but the problem still wasn't fixed. Third, on our last day, house keeping did not clean our room even though we left for several hours. Upon our return I had to go to the front desk yet again to request that house keeping clean our room. Marriott, you need to do a lot better!

The room was very tight and lakes a functional design. For example, the table was very large and there was no dresser and only two chairs (whereas the room is designed to accommodate 4 guests). The bathroom didn't have hooks or bars to hang the towels after the shower. The staff didn't refresh the supplies such as towels, tea bags and sugar (we had to ask each time). We asked more than once to clean the floor but it wasn't. The pool was freezing and not heated and there was no heated indoor pool either. Just to mention a few issues.

Not much. They charged us $550 after the stay for a shower cleaning because their cheap paints shower floor stained with hair dye. They told us they would clean it and not to worry, then charged us. They also charged several others within our group excessively additional fees too. Avoid!!

Our stay here was truly exceptional. The hotel staff was friendly and highly accommodating. Within the restaurant, there is a Starbucks location, as well as a small market, offering convenient access to snacks and essentials such as sunscreen or toothpaste. The Gold Coast Kitchen provided a convenient dining option when we preferred not to venture outside. We highly recommend the Fried Burrata and Beef Tenderloin; the mojitos were also enjoyable. The hotel is centrally located in Biscayne Bay, near the port, making it ideal for cruisers. Additionally, the hotel features a well-maintained pool and offers various activities, including cornhole, chess, and ping pong. Our family thoroughly appreciated our stay.

Room was wonderful however the room that I had booked months before was not available and the only option was for me to upgrade my room for an additional $50. I was also asked to sign a document to confirm the upgrade. I don’t think that I should have to pay for an upgrade when my room is not available. What was I supposed to do at that point? Also our phone was not working in the room so I had to go down to the restaurant to order room service and when it didn’t arrive, I called down to the restaurant and they said oh we thought you received your order because we didn’t get a call from you saying that you didn’t receive it. So basically until I complain they’re not going to fill the room service order. This hotel had a very interesting and backwards way of handling problems. They put the responsibility on the customer and don’t take accountability for their faults.

When I fordt came in I had 3 bags and was greeted by about 3 hotel staff, but none helped me get my bags up to the room. The hotel also operated a ridiculous resort fee of $35 a day, which is ridiculous considering this is not a resort, but clearly just a hotel. They say this is offset by an $18 food credit, but I would have like the option to keep my money and eat at their restaurant only if I wanted to! There was a charge for room service to be delivered to the room. Aren't hotels supposed to do the for free if you ordered from them?! Hotel guests have to pay extra to use the sun loungers by the pool. Why is the property shown ad having a pool if it costs extra to sit by it. Overall, the room was nice but having to pay additional charges for this and that soured my stay here.

I had a corner updated bay view room that was beautiful but the hotel itself seemed isolated. The one restaurant they had was pretty good, but not a lot of other choices near by without an Uber trip. Every time I contacted staff with questions, they didn’t seem to know what was going on so that was frustrating. I was there for a conference and catered conference dining was low quality and not that great.

Hotel overall is very small, with very small pool. The area does not seem very safe even on our limited short walk to Publix. The customer service is basically non existent, the guy that checked us in gave no emotions and he also promised to call us when the room was ready but did not. The hotel room bed was too soft for my liking. Most ridiculous I find was the fact that the hotel does not offer daily house keeping unless you request it, one day we came back from conference and I saw the house keeping lady next door so I ask her if she can clean our room next she said I have to put in request and call, n the call to front desk takes 5+ minute because I had to be on hold and wait for someone to pick up. That was really weird for a big chain hotel, and with no where in the hotel or the information they gave me at check in that says that we need to request for it.

They couldn’t find my reservation at check in. I had to find the confirmation number. When I called for room service, it was a robot who referred me to a website. When the food arrived, it was in a paper sack. The coffe was cold and served in a paper cub. Not what I would expect from a Marriott. Also, 1 ply toilet paper-really?

Although sunset was hours away, the pool bar closed to early. The bartender was fantastic and helped us up to the last possible moment. Her drinks (tried margaritas and Bloody Mary,) were delicious.

Staff is nice and the hotel (room, facilities, etc) is clean. But, overall, I’m a bit disappointed by our experience. Bedding was very uncomfortable and I woke up every day with back pain (I have no back condition). Room furniture and bathroom are somehow basic. The pool area is nice but the pool itself is quite small and feels overcrowded at time. Breakfast is good but also falls short, in my opinion, of real 4-star standards. Gym is nice and well equipped; location is great. Overall, the looks and price of a 4-star, but the experience of a 3 1/2-star.

Second time stayed at this hotel prior to a wheat cruise. Staff is always very eager to help. The drawback was in the tiny area. Stampless really slow waited outside for 12 minutes prior to getting any type of service. Food was OK nothing spectacular a sweet and spicy cauliflower pokey tacos and hamburger., was OK nothing to read about. Was too tired to go anywhere else for dinner, but it was a good spot.

First, the person checking us in handed me a post it and told me to write down my email. When I asked what it was for they said to sign up for their bonvoy program. When I declined they tried to convince me and when I said continued to say no they seemed annoyed. Then they told me my two queen PARTIAL bay (I did not order a partial view) room wasn't ready until 2 hours after check-in and the only thing we were offered was a king and a rollaway for myself and my 14 year old son. For what they charge neither of us were going to sleep on a rollaway.

I absolutely love this location. From checking in to checking out. The valet, room service and front desk 10/10 service. We had the most beautiful view. I’d stay there again for sure. I do have to say we ordered pizza from a paper that was slipped under our door. I don’t recommend at all. The pizza was not good at all. Also ordered wings and they were cold and the pizza was cold and tasted cheap. It’s called Miami pizza and pasta my style 305-302-0386 that’s their number just in case. Don’t call it’s a waste of money. Ps I don’t think this hotel has anything to do with this pizza shop. I hope not

Beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our rooms weren’t what we booked and when I called the front desk they didn’t offer to correct the mistake. We’re basically oops oh well. Made for an uncomfortable stay for the people in our party that had to sleep in chairs. Otherwise, a nice option.

From the front desk staff to the maintenance man who adjusted our air, every employee was above average, very friendly and eager to help. The beds were extremely comfortable with feather toppers and very nice pillows. Great location to catch cruise the next day.

It was a clean hotel, with useful amenities (though the prices in the shop were outrageous). I enjoyed spending some time at the restaurant bar (and appreciated being able to apply some of the resort fee to that bill). Walking around outside was a bit more difficult. There's not a clear walking path within the drop-off area, and the hotel next door (where we went to check out some shops and grab a bite to eat) was under construction, also making the area difficult to navigate. Our room was large, and clean, with a fun view of the bay. And it as Easter weekend, and they had a bunny on site offering free polaroids and treats.

Worst Marriott I’ve stayed in for awhile. Requested room not available at check in. Was given a handicapped accessory room. Poorly furnished. Wallls so thin I could hear the guest next door snoring. No amenities in room. Overall disappointing.

Entire staff was friendly but when to restaurant for breakfast cook was super rude. I asked him to make omelets and he got annoyed and angry didn’t say anything but very rude. I will visit the hotel but never go to the restaurant

This Marriott is a beautiful hotel with beautiful scenic views of the water. There are lots of amenities and thi gs to do without ever leaving the hotel. This one gets 5 Stars from me.

Great balcony with city view but actually has water view too!!! Great location for different modes of transportation to go anywhere!! Loved the pool! Great breakfast!! And loved that I could use my resort fee towards things like did in drink in hotel!! Will definitely be back!!
