La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Midland

Room was horrible. Dirty, bugs on the floor, smelled like raid. Water smelled like sewer, walls were chipping, caroet was stained as well as all the lamps. Mattesses were stained and moldy. Just an awful place. Gross and hazardous to people’s health.

The lady at the front desk was very kind. Room was alright but the shower head was broken, bathtub clogged. Installations looked old, lamp light not working. I was surprised a Windham hotel to be like that. Probably it was the room we got that happened to need maintenance.

The stafd was very friendly and helpful. The pet fee was reasonable compared to other hotels. As well, ilthe location was very convenient. We could easily get to the airport. The hotel was not clean. The bathroom was gross. There were stains on the walls and sheets. My dogs seemed apalled by whatever odor was coming from the carpet..They only gave us two flat pillows.

Just wasn't great. Only one lamp worked, one was completely busted, the tub was stained with hair dye, there was a smashed roach on shower wall, pool was closed, bfast was not the best... The apples (only fruit offered) were squishy and bruised, the coffee was just brown water, only real option was a waffle or cereal. It wasn't bad, especially for the price, just could have been better.

very old facility, i booked a non smoking room and found out that it had the cigarrete smell impregnated in the walls. the breakfast not good, the contruction pretty old, carpets seem old too. bad experience over all.

The room was rough. The shower backed up. And the property was in poor condition. The front desk worker was on a personal call the whole time I was checking in.

I'm too old for a place like this, room had a unique smell. Cigarettes and something but it was tangy. Check-in was weird. Zero ID check, or credit card etc. Just gave them my name and they handed me a key. I bailed and went down the street to a different hotel, I can put up with a lot, I've been all over the world but there was no way I could have slept.

Both rooms were dirty. The handicap room for my parents wreaked of cigarette smoke. Our room was dirty and the bathtub was extremely dirty and brown. The bottom of the tub was peeling. Extremely loud people were hanging out in the parking lot drinking and playing loud music from their truck. Very bad experience!!

Room was dirty, bathtub was so stained it was dark grey. Room had not been cleaned it had dust and dirt on headboard. Old hotel so a little run down is expected. A good cleaning crew wouldake a big difference. Windows and mirror looked liked they were cleaned with dirty water.

The room had many problems, The Room smelled very bad. there were no trash cans, the TV, Cable, refreigertor did not work, only one light fixture worked but but was barley holding on to wall. The bathroom ceiling was black and falling, the corner walls in room were full of ensect waste. in room did not work. Since we got there after 1 am. We slept with door open and we just delt with it. Ver disatisfied with room. I gave it 2 star becuase the air worked and the shower worked.

The lobby had a foul odor, the room smelled like an old ashtray. The carpet was dirty, and the restroom was equally unsanitary, with the room in poor condition.

Nasty room, old hair there and smell of cigarettes in room. People doing drugs in the parking lot. Tried reporting possible domestic violence to staff and they confirmed that they did not check on the room because they need "multiple complaints" in order to check. Loud screaming and man telling woman he will end her - but yet it wasn't enough when reported to staff. Didn't feel safe with our 8 month old so we left.

Nothing at all Rude staff!! Waited in the lobby to check in for 45 minutes bc staff was arguing with a other guest because she didn’t know how to do her job. It was my turn I reserved 4 rooms for my workers and myself and she was rude to me bc she didn’t know how to do her job! Found a bug on my pillow. Stains on the covers. Two of the rooms the air didn’t work. Microwaves did not work. Bathroom was dirty.

They don't do the bed , no clean and no replace towels ... we have to use the same towels all week.

Not one thing, this La Quinta is giving a bad name to other La Quintas Wyndam. First of all, the cleanliness is horrible!! There is mold everywhere, and I will be contacting the city of Midland because this is a health hazard. The restrooms are covered with mold. They also don't clean your room after you leave or take out the trash or make your bed. There is also a lot of illegal activities going on and safety is a big concern. Alot of crackheads everywhere!! I can keep going to much to call out!

The room had already been paid for on hotels.com but the at check in they tried to run my card again for their rate of the rooms. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom wasn’t very clean!

No cold water in my dirty tub. My room was dirty and had a missing lights. A coworker had to switch hotels because of roaches and dirty linen. My other coworker had a dirty room and dogs in the next room were noisy all night long.

The bathtubs were black, my crew which was staying there for a job couldnt even stay there the night because they were getting bit in the beds. If there were zero stars to give I'd do that. This place should be condemned.

Stinks like piss-trashed property, shadows lurking-like most cheap hotels. It’s a good last resort (before sleeping in your car).

Did not provide wheelchair accessible room as requested. Water pressure was great but the faucet was broken and all the water went into the tub and didn’t reach the shower head. Then the tub could not drain fast enough. My feet did get a nice soaking by the time I could get the shampoo rinsed out of my hair… but yuk.

The room was beyond disgusting. The entire hotel was entirely rundown. My room looked like it had been clean in years. It was so filthy dirty even after taking a shower I felt extremely dirty. It was so rundown worst stay I’ve ever had. Seems like the owners just gave up on attempting to upkeep the property entirely.

Bathroom shower looked like someone came from the oil fields and took a shower the base was really dirty and black. No ice machine working. I can't believe this is a Wyndham hotel it reminds you of a sleezy motel that was changed over.

Perimeter parking was full of trash. The hotel had approximately 30 mattresses laying out in the parking lot area. Room wasnt clean when i walked in. Trash was still in the bin. The room had a stench that has horrible! When i asked for a refund, the attendant said since i booked through the internet he wasnt able to assist.

The sink wouldn't drain; I had to pick my hair out myself to get it to drain. The coffee maker has a very short cord. I had to crawl under the table to reach the outlet and make coffee. The light bulbs weren't screwed in all the way. A previous customer left some coffee papers behind, and I asked that only coffee be left for me. I think things like that need to be taken care of. Otherwise, it's a nice, quiet place.

Staff was very friendly, housekeeping is nice! Not a huge breakfast selection just waffles, yogurt, mini muffins, and instant oatmeal, cereal and fruit. (NO MEAT OR EGGS) Orange and apple juice, milk and coffee. But I mean it's something! Stay has been pleasant, not a lot of traffic or outside noise.

I have stayed at many La Quintas and this has to be the WORST one I’ve ever stayed. The whole place was dirty, smelled of weed and cigarettes. The room was disgusting. I didn’t even want to use the shower as it was so gross. Half the light bulbs were missing. And someone had ripped the wire out of the mini fridge so that didnt work. We HAD to stay one night but I refused to stay the second night. When I went to check out they had never actually checked me in and was showing as a no show. What a mess! This place needs new management and new staff. Just horrible!

There was only one lamp that had a lightbulb when examining the bathroom I found hair inside a very filthy tub when I went to go and pull back the covers to check there was hair inside there as well I went to the front desk and asked for a different room because that room was unsuitable. I was given another room when I walked in the smell was horrendous. I proceeded to go and check the bathroom. The bathtub was filthy like it had never been clean before there was snot inside the sink that was dried in there. The bed smelled really bad. I didn’t even wanna look under the covers the walls were filthy. I could not stay there. I put then proceeded to the front desk and tell them I cannot stay here. I want a refund front desk just gave me an ugly look made me feel very uncomfortable for asking for a refund. Then I asked how often are these rooms cleaned he said he don’t know. He’s just the front desk, my husband was forced to find me a hotel at 1 AM in the morning and had to pay double the amount that I paid at La Quinta because it was a short notice and I did not have any reservations for the next two days. This is my first time ever traveling by myself, and it was one of the worst experiences ever, especially at this hotel staff should be trained properly rooms should be cleaned immediately and detailed fixture should fixed

There was mold on the shower ceiling, previous leaks that bubbled the paint in multiple areas around the room, smoke detector was removed, and worst of all, there was a pungent odor that filled the room that you could literally taste. I believe it came from the discusting a/c and heat unit in the room. Smelled like a thick mildew. This room was the worst I've stayed in a really long time. The odd thing about it was when I called to make reservations, I was quoted over $500 for the 2 day stay. I got a much better deal with Expedia at $155. I couldnt even stay the second day, the smell was so unbearable.

The room was not very presentable. When we arrived there were a couple of ratty cars sitting in the driveway. As I went to check in I noticed a couple of people sitting in the car smoke barreling out of the windows. First impressions were not pleasant. When we got to the room the weather stripping was coming off the door. We had to have help getting the tv to work. Later in the evening I noticed something on the bedside table. It was a cockroach. A cockroach! It was hard to rest thinking about that. The bed was so uncomfortable. The pillows were old and hard. I think it’s an embarrassment to the Wyndham family

Parking lot has quite a cigarette butts, and an abandoned grill with a fuel tin next to it. It's absolutely the worst and filthiest La Quinta we ever stayed. Out ot 15-20 franchise hotels we stayed, this is the most disgusting room with mold and absolute garbage.

It was a mess. I booked this toom for my son while he was traveling for work. It was booked for 13 days, on the 10th night someone walked into his room while he was sleeping. The room was marked as empty. He went to the front desk. They were supposed to refund me 3 nights and charged him for the 3 nights. I troed to contact the front desk- never could reach a person. They need to pay me my freakin money back. Cuatpmer service is crap! Don't book here they are liable to say your room is empty and give some one access to your room!

This hotel was old, outdated and dirty. The front windows were dirty. The bathroom light did not work and on the floor toward the tub there was dirt. The beds were suitable, but the hotel was noisy due to loud neighbors.. Understood it was a low price and we only needed it for sleeping but I felt like I was in a rundown 70s apartment building. I haven’t stayed in a La Quinta in many years but have been satisfied with them in the past. I see they have updated their look and it appears there are new builds of them but this one was not good. Because of past experience I’ll give La Quinta a try again, but I would avoid this location.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in, in my life. There was stuff all over the walls. There was drink lids, garbage and debris left all over the floor. Old dog food still on the floor. The area around the mini fridge was rotted and full of mold. I woke up in the morning to find a yellow stain on the very blanket I was laying under. The blankets on the other bed had stains on them. The box spring under one of the mattresses was stained in black and yellow stains all over it. The tub still had hairs on the wall from whoever came before. Stains on the celing. This was the worst hotel room I've ever seen and I travel for a living. This one took the cake. Absolutely disgusting.

There were blood stains on the white comforter. It took 3 days for them to replace it after I reported it. The TV remote was not working and the TV displayed an error message when not in use. It took 5 days to receive a replacement remote. The error message did not go away. Breakfast - no protein like eggs, bacon or sausage. The muffins were hard and dry.

There was mold everywhere, the bathtub was growing who knows what, and the holes all through the room were crazy. Didn’t even stay an hour and the SORRY ASS PROPERTY OWNER WOULDN’T Even return an email or call.

The first two rooms we got were filthy, the third one we settled in because it was the better of the three. I would not recommend this hotel not even for $40.

The room was decent but not clean. Not sure what was going on with the A/C barely worked. The tube was nasty and dirty. The walls were thin you could hear everyone as they passed down the hallway. I would never stay there again.

The tv didn't work., the in room coffee maker didn't work, the ice maker didn't work. and the main light over the sink was out. Obviously now oversight by Wyndham.

Room 118 had a terrible cockroach infestation. Like 50 plus coming out of refrigerator. Out of wall by bathroom. It was like a horror movie. I went to front desk they gave me room 223. I saw a couple small roaches there. Unfortunately it was late and didn't want to start over by trying to find another hotel. It is Midland/ Odessa. Hotels are hard to find for a decent price. That being said this place and others need to be shut down or heavily fumigated. Cockroaches in walls means it's real bad!!

Beware. My TV did not work. I was told WiFi only worked in about half the rooms. My shower had no soap gel, and the front desk said she could not replace it.

Room was terribly dirty. Stains on carpets and walls. Bathroom was a mess with drain plugged up with hair and other disgusting materials. Had to kill a cockroach and tried to make as little physical contact with any surface in the hotel as possible. Would not visit again and would recommend paying a few bucks more to stay somewhere "nicer" (though usually La Quinta's are fine)

The pillows were not pillows, bumpy and small. The bed was extremely small. The air conditioner was very loud and kept us up all night. It sounded like someone was peeling out in the parking lot every hour, but it was the air conditioner starting up. We were woken up by a man screaming and banging on doors looking for a Courtney and a Ricky. When we left extremely early due to the noise, there were face and hand marks on my windows and handles due to someone looking in my car and trying to get in. I will never stay here again, this was not like any La Quinta I have ever stayed at. Staff was nice but it won’t make up for the poor conditions.

I booked this hotel for three nights but could not stay due to the very poor conditions of the room. Upon arrival, the room was dirty and not properly maintained. There were cockroaches in the bathtub, the shower leaked water from the bottom, and the walls around the tub were stained red. The entire room smelled unpleasant, and the beds were not even properly made. Although there was ongoing construction, the room was clearly not in habitable condition. I did not feel comfortable or safe staying there, so I left immediately and requested a full refund for the three nights I did not stay. Unfortunately, the hotel management has refused to issue my refund. Expedia has been trying to help me resolve this matter, but the hotel manager has been unresponsive and unavailable. This was a very bad experience, and I don’t believe it is fair to be charged for a room that was dirty, unsafe, and unlivable. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this hotel.

We checked in to this property and upon entering the rooms we saw mold all over the ceiling and walls. We immediately left. When we asked for a refund they would not refund our first night because they said we used the room and dirtied it the first night. There is no way they should have been putting people in these rooms. Major health concern. Dirty rooms.

Although my stay was just to shower and get ready for a family event. The room was nasty tub was gross, water was hot. But it’s a no go.

This hotel is discussing. It is very outdated and needs considerable work. Our room had a gap in the door about 3/16", the bathroom floor and ceiling were filthy, the bed was lumpy, the carpet was worn to almost bare floor in spots, the room key worked once and we had to get new keys made from the front desk, the walls in the room in needed painting, no ice bucket or drinking cups in the room, WiFi very spotty, the bathroom door in the office was locked and the desk clerk cam and used her thumb nail to unlock it, all in all not a pleasant experience. I have stayed at many LaQuinta in the past and this hotel was by far the worse, not LaQuinta or Windham standards.

I got a no-smoking room, whole room smelled like someone smoked 2 packs inside every time before I went in. Stain on bed sheets, bathroom looks like poor trailer home. Breakfast didn't even have bananas, apples, orange juice, nothing but coffee and make your own waffle machine, not sure if mix provided. POOL was drained/dry and yucky leftovers in it, dog and maybe human sht all around. BASICALLY still begging for my $50 deposit back on my work card 2 weeks later.

The bathtub was dirty and had little dead bugs stuck on its surface, there were no wash cloths (I wasn't able to shower). The Direct TV box was unplugged so I had to fumble around the back to find the power cord and connect it. A couple of areas on the carpet had something sticky. The breakfast was good

The staff was rude they have no elevator so my kid on crutches had to use the stairs when the front lady was asked if we could go to the first floor she said she is fine there isn’t many stairs well there is 18 total. The rooms are nasty my wife couldn’t even shower in the shower it was so gross

I can send pictures, for 4 nights I would not use the bathtub and nobody in your office would either, as around the tub to the wall all around the top of the tub was rust and black mold along with black mold around the ceiling seams. Major bashed in hole in the door to the bathroom. The secondary security lock at the front door was hanging by halfway out screws. The floor fortunately was clean so I could put a towel down on floor to use a wash rag and soap to clean up, rinsing is a real event, I did that every night. LaQuinta is better than this, I lived in the LaQuinta at 1510 Harbor Dr. in Costa Mesa CA Monday thru Friday for 15 years, As a Platinum member I look for a LaQuinta Hotel and so do my employees as I find usually good value. The pool was "not working" and apparently hadn't been functional for months according to google reviews, but was still listed as an amenity on hotels.com.

Mold in the bathroom and pungent smell . Property was unclean and unsanitary

Needs a thorough deep clean.

I didn’t read the description very well. I thought it was going to be a hotel/Inn not a motel. I didn’t use the bathtub it looked rather grungy. Twice for breakfast they were out of orange juice. Two days the only bread was white bread. There wasn’t any eggs or pork available for breakfast just oatmeal, waffles and three types of cereal. The king size bed was comfortable. It is near train tracks. The room was big and hade a desk and a lounge chair. One of the lights near the bed didn’t have a light bulb. Plus the swimming pool wasn’t available. If I would have known that I would have chosen a hotel closer to my relatives on Cimmaron Ave.

People noisy for hours on stairs

Forth time staying there this year and the quality went down each time till my last stay and it was terrible. This is the first and last time i stay in the building farthest from the front desk. The building has not been renovated and the room did not look as the photos did. It seems the closer you are to the front desk the room gets nicer

The room was absolutely disgusting. It is questionable how this facility is able to maintain its franchise. Every structure in room is dilapidated.

Horrible hotel. Very bad area and very dirty. Sheets were dirty and stained, carpet was stained and not vacuumed. Cockroaches present and tub was black on the bottom. Smelled like smoke!!!! Property is refusing to refund!!!!

I was not expecting a motel when I booked a room with La Quinta. Was very disappointed by the property the room smelt of mold, urine and dog.

Rooms are horrible very rundown hotel i checked inn got my key and went to the room and i was like hell no ! Went back to front desk andntold them no im not staying... im still waiting on ownwer of the hotell to issue refund

It was very dirty. It had a smell of Marijuana and Cigarettes. Horrible customer service.

And we tried to get a refund and worst of all they said no 😡

I had rented our room very late at night, so I got our check out date wrong, one day too many. They were giving us trouble getting our room because we wanted three nights instead of four on the website. Then our room was dirty, the comforter had stains on them, the toilet was very wobbly, black mold in the bathroom. The water pressure was so high so before I could move the shower head I had almost flooded the bathroom corner of the room. We went to do stuff in town got back to the room and housekeeping didn’t stop by, they didn’t restock towels. The website said double beds. Now I know “double bed” means two full mattresses. On the website it was ranked 6/10, I think that’s being generous. Never again will I stay at this hotel.

The conditions of the room beds were hard you could fell the springs and the bathroom had mold everywhere on the ceiling above the shower and it had German roaches bad!!!

The hotel was dirty. There was someone else’s blood in my bed. I arrived at the hotel between 315 330 woke up at 7 AM. Pull the covers back. Blood was on the sheets.

Very gross, not clean, lots of stains nasty, smells, extremely unpleasant.

Don’t recommend this place

Had to call to get someone to come to the desk. The smell of Marijuana come from the roomscwas overwhelming. The property was run down and desperately needed repair. All in all I'd give this place about 2.5 stars. My advice if you want/need a cheaoer room go up thevroad to Motel 6.

Our team had to leave the hotel after the first night and find accommodations elsewhere. The rooms were dirty, safety door locks torn off all hinges including the main office, and had clearly not been repaired for some time. There was plumbing torn out from the sink in one room so the water just poured on the floor. The WiFi and computers were out from a close lightning strike and it took them longer than we stayed to get them up and running again. We tried to check out, but they "couldn't" as the computers and phones were down. I have stayed in some sketchy and nasty places in my youth and time with the US Army, but this was the worst hotel / motel I have stayed in ever. I would prefer a 1980's crack house over this place.

The rooms were dirty the bathroom looked that it had never been cleaned.

Cockroaches everywhere, dirty bathroom, floor not clean . It was terrible to be honest . Bad smell of the unit . I will not come back here . This is a scam of my money

Never cleans my room or fixes any problems we have. For example, the drain clogging up, toilet not flushing, the smell of sewer in some of the rooms, cold or hot water knobs not working sometimes. Little problems that they do not even attempt to fix.i ask them every day to atleast swap out the dirty towels for clean towels and it never happens.

Will find a better place to stay next time

Lazy night time manager not willing to help

Everything was dirty and no internet service . Couldn’t stay the second night . Had to check out after the first night. And asked for a refund for the second night which am still waiting on .

I called management because there was cars parked in the handicap parking i explained how i have my sticker and i needed the parking the night time manger was lazy and didnt do anything about it the next morning i call and the lady came and made them move but night time didn't even care too lazy to do !!! I really needed the parking i just spent 8 days in hospital and very weak to walk that far

What was unique was the first room I received was not properly cleaned and smelled like dogs; and the second room had a toilet full of feces… after which I called BS on this hotel and left to seek accommodations elsewhere. Once is a mistake; twice is staff not paying attention; and I was unwilling to be see what three times looked and smelled like!

This was just gross, i would not even think of trying to shower in this tub, i would come out dirtier than when i started

Lobby was dirty from breakfast, checked in at 3pm. Room had cigarette smell, roaches on the bed, mold under the fridge, mold on ceiling, room was not vacuumed. When brought to attention we were told to call the cops and did not want to make our stay comfortable and safe for our 1 year old, did not want to refund us for our ONE night stay.

Upon arrival I was already disappointed. It’s basically motel with a face lift. The room was ok if you don’t mind the smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking room. The shower tubs need replacing. It was very dirty and stained. Only one of the towels was clean the other three had stains. The pool and laundry room were out of order. It had no gym. The breakfast consisted of only waffles, bagels and cereal. There’s also a $50 deposit upon arrival. You get what you paid for right

I stayed at this property and had to ask for another room. 1st room smelled so bad of cigarettes and mildew. The shower was broken and sprayed the entire bathroom of water, plus the tub was clogged. There was no comforters on the beds and the carpet was super sticky. The 2nd room was no better. The tub was clogged as well, the room stunk almost as bad as the first room. And the walls in the vanity area were extremely dirty. I knew I picked a bad hotel when I saw used condoms in the parking lot!

I felt misled by the photo of the front of the hotel. I thought rooms were entered from the inside with elevators. It ended up that the rooms were accessed on the outside with only stairs to the second room. The A/C was not turned on when we walked into the room. The room smelled stuffy and uncomfortable. The breakfast has the basics without any hot items such as eggs or patties.

Up front friendly but careless about room cleanliness. Dirty floors, dirty blankets sheets were filthy with hair all over. A white powder substance on all the tables in room garbage behind end tables.

It was horrible. The room was not clear., roaches on the bed, drawers. I have no idea how you can advertise your hotel.

This property is nothing in person that it is pictured to look like. Terrible to have the LaQuinta name attached. My husband didn’t feel as if his vehicle would even be safe in their parking lot with all the people sitting around hanging out there at night. Ended up leaving after one night stay. Stead clear if you are looking for something actually decent…this is NOT it!

Checked in and bogh room stuck of Marijuana and cigar. Bed covers were stained. Bed was sucken in. No phones work nor lamp. Bad area. Not a place to take a baby. Unhealthy for anyone.

It’s dirty! And the manager is racist and night guy doesn’t know what he is doing! Reversed payments and refunded my deposit, and then wanted me to pay again, when it take 5-10 days to get back into bank account. When I already paid everything. It was ridiculous!

I hate to do this, but property was very dirty, property is very old. Everything was covered in dust and unpleasant smell. Bathtub was clogged and very old. everything just needs updated and better cleaning. Included breakfast consist of just waffles. And bed had bedbugs. Definitely needs new management and staff.

Make sure there aren't bugs and when there are bed bugs they give my money back. I didnt even stay because you could visibley see the filth and bugs

Do not stay here. Very old run down. Washer dryer broken my entire 2 week stay. Ice machin on both floors was broken. My lights went out in the entire left side of room and they fixed it by using extension cords. The only plus was the staff were all friendly
