We thought our room was very nice. TV was large and very clear. The fridge was beyond cool. When I asked for more towels they were very accommodating. The door had to be pulled shut. The tub had a v shape in the bottom and for an older couple like we were. You felt like you needed to hold on to something or you felt like you were falling. There weren’t any brochures about Richmond area attractions, restaurants in the area, or places for shopping.

The Hotel was in the process of the complete roof being redone. with the noise and hammer guns going on all day. There was no peace

Power was out. I was told my reservation would be canceled.

Stayed here due to proximity of Pocahontas State Park, great location, however roof replacement was happening during our stay and after a 20 mile hiking event a nap was much desired however not an option due to the hammering, also would have liked a nice tub soak but the tub wouldn’t hold water.

This hotel was great! 1000 times better then the super 8 on Midlothian tnpk that I stayed in last time. This place was clean. The linens smelled freshly laundered. The room itself was large with plenty of seating. Everything worked as expected. I would highly recommend this hotel! I will definitely be staying here on my next visit.

Way over priced! Grungy, moldy, out dated, motel disguised as a hotel. This place is crap.

This place is way over priced! It is a motel quality place. Room was kinda clean. The bathroom had black mold on the caulk around the tub. The desk chair was some type of salon style chair?? It was broken. Its the kind of place that if you got to stay for one night its ok but way over priced.

Very dirty, hair all over the bathroom and carpet. The room smelled horrible the carpet was sticky and the sheets had a stain. Was so grossed out they we had to leave and stay elsewhere.

Questionable if the room was clean. In much need of repair/updates. Furniture was stained and heavily worn. Linens stained. Incredibly strong scent of urine im the hallways.

Stay was very pleasant. Room was clean, confortable and inviting. New large TLC Smart TVs made for a nice relaxing movie night. In room hot tub was clean, one of the jets did not work, but did not ruin the experience. Definately would book another stay and recommend.

It was a special occasion in the room was very nice.

Sandip was wonderful but the facilities were terrible! Our room was unclean (hair on the shower walls from previous guests, curtains were falling off the rails, the fridge wouldn’t get or stay cold and some of the linens were dirty) and the furniture was falling apart. I bought pillow cases and blankets at a local Walmart to make our 2 nights work for us since we didn’t have the option of switching hotels. It was so dirty, we didn’t trust the food for breakfast and we ate out every meal. There were lots of plugs connected to a power strip, which seemed like a fire hazard, so I unplugged everything but the TV. It seems like they are fixing up the place now (our TV was brand new and other rooms were replacing the broken furniture), but it was NOT the quality I expect from Wyndham properties by any standard.

STAFF ARE PATHOLOGICAL LIARS. Louise and Eric promised a refund for night I did not stay but when it came down to it I never got my money back. I come back every year for my son’s soccer matches. I will never be staying here again and I suggest everyone go to another hotel. I usually stay at the Marriot but booked last minute. This is the last time I will ever do stay at the Super 8. Disgusting service.

Fantastic stay, bed was comfortable, room pleasant and on top of that… the staff was the best! Thank you all for making me enjoy my trip to Virginia! Best to you all!

Overall very nice

Broken toilet sear, faded color seat, bathroom felt unclean, cigarette smell, beer bottle cap by the aur conditioning. Comfortable bedding but also had a sauce stain on it. Will not be stsying again.

We just needed a place to flop for one night to break up a 13 hour trip and visit an old friend for dinner. For that reason, acceptable for the economical price. Not a clean freak, so okay for me. Typical included continental breakfast. Decor left a lot to be desired. Slept as good as I do anytime in a strange place. Two floors and no stairs. Would not go out of my way to stay here again.

Everything was nice, clean, and functional. I was really hoping for sausage, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. Bagel, yogurt, and coffee weren't bad though.

Walked into the hotel and in my room within 15 minutes. Quiet and comfortable. Best night of sleep Ive had in a month. Room had everything I needed and breakfast had plenty of options.

This hotel was fine. It was clean enough and comfortable. The cleaning staff twice entered our room without knocking - once when my son was in bed while my wife and I were at breakfast (at 7:30 am), and once an hour later while I was in the bathroom. Breakfast was sufficient, but not great. We had to ask for napkins and plates, and we never saw staff at breakfast except the front desk guy bringing the napkins when we asked. Again, the place was fine, but it had issues.

This is an older hotel with older broken furniture and worn rugs. Doors are opened manually and provide just enough room for a power chair to pass through. Power chair was able to enter room but there is no room to go past the bathroom door. Window view was completely obscured by shrubbery. Desk manager "freshened" room before granting us access which left the room with a very strong floral odor. Beds were uncomfortable. Had stayed there several years prior and little if anything was new or different. Not likely to stay there again.

The blankets were too thin.

Drawenin dresser didn't close and just kept opening in the middle of the walk way, toilet didn't have water in tank and needed to be opened and lifted to fill after use, area was sketchy and building had an odor. We went to stay elsewhere.

Staff was friendly, but the hotel needs repair. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Electrical socket hanging out the wall, door latch broke.

There was dry blood on my sheets and I had to change it myself which is fine but I shouldn’t have to. Mattress protector had a pee stain on it shower curtain had mold on the bottom of it and there was hair in the tub and hit on the sheets.

It was conveniently located for my trip so I'm not too disappointed. Although the place is a little dated. The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke filled the hallways and our non smoking room. Not a deal breaker but you certainly get what you pay for...

Spent most of the time with relatives and friends. Hotel room was always clean, quiet and we felt very secure. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Very sufficient, and worth the price. Breakfast was a bit lacking though.

It was dirty when we walked in the room it smelled like cigars smoke it was musty, and steps were dirty like not vacuumed. I would rather sleep in my car.

This Super 8 was run or owned by 3 generation family living there. they never smiled or made us feel welcome. The rugs on the stairs were dirty and were never cleaned while wee were there for our 3 nights. good value, but wouldn't stay again.

Definitely recommend the Super 8 if you are looking for something clean and convenient. Sandy, who helped us at the front desk accommodated our needs for a late check out due to my work schedule and provided it at no charge!

The shower curtain was hung up with pieces of grocery bags and the electrical socket was literally hanging out of the wall. The floor wasn’t vacuumed in all areas.

A good room at a great price. View of the auto-parts store next door. I would have liked some sheer curtains for a bit of privacy while letting in some light, but there were none but the black-out curtains. Clean, quiet, a nice fridge, no complaints. The best I have stayed at such a low price.

Even worse, the tub stopper would not stay open, so water continued to collect while showering; had to wedge something in between drain & stopper IOT keep it open enough to drain. Property and its interior and facilities are dated and maintenance NEGLECTED. There is no elevator between the 1st and 2nd Floors. YOU (DON'T) GET WHAT YOU (DON'T) PAY FOR...

Everything was great . But the day , i was leaving, the key was not working, it's not fair, i was still in my room. I had to open the door for my friend. They uncensored the card key before time. Not nice.

If you're looking for a 4 star hotel this is not the place for you. But if you're just looking for a place to lay your head and be safe this is fine. Its nothing special, it's just a motel. Take as such and get some sleep.

The whole facility needs an upgrade. Bathroom was dirty, carpet was dirty. The bathroom sink was broken/cracked. And the biggest surprise was there's no elevators!! Guests have to carry their bags up the stairs. Will not stay here next time.

They have an option called pay at check in ITS A SCAM. If you never check in THEY STILL CHARGE YOU. I’m now out $400 and after saying they’d refund me it’s been almost 5 days and still no refund. Scam hotel do not book

In desperate need of updating - bordering on unsafe. Staff was friendly but not necessarily accommodating. Good for a quick overnight trip without kids, not great for longer stays or for families.

My stay was terrible also , the toilet over flooded , about 5 channels on the Tv, I killed a Roach in there and the Toilet was broke when you sat down on it it rose up off the floor and you could see it was broke at the bottom, also the picture on the Tv was terrible…Judith Dickerson

Was not impressed with the morning breakfast. Two hours was not enough time. There was no one at the front desk in the morning to help with any breakfast issues. No coffee left and the toaster was not working properly.

The property was clean and quiet. An easy check-in and they helped me with the WiFi when I was trying to work and it wasn’t strong enough. Would definitely stay again.

There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the cold and hot water knobs in the sink were reversed and the shower rod was hung weird so the curtain wouldn’t close. The bed was comfy though but don’t think I would stay here again.

The beds where hard there was only coffee and little Debbie cakes. Over Half the rooms have mold in them broking doors all the blankets have burned some of the windows are broken and one has a bullet hole.

Deep cleaning is needed at the property. The toilet in my room was moving because it was not attached to the floor. The bathroom sink was shattered, not sure how that happened. I checked out early and used shower at a local gym which was much cleaner. Bed and linens were clean.

I could not contact the property by phone or email. The check in times were 2-4 pm and I was taking a late flight in. No one ever contacted me. They charged my credit card for the stay which I never went for. I had to book at room. Terrible terrible terrible. It seems like a crooked business. Shame on you!! Expedia was absolutely to help in this matter either!! Bad bad bad!!

We stayed here for the Jeff Cup showcase. The property was quiet, staff friendly and breakfast was ok. Our room was nice some previous damage to wall and to bathroom door. Good tv, microwave and refrigerator, beds were comfortable. Close to grocery store and places to eat.

Well first thing was when i arrived the whole lobby smelled like weed. It was suppose to be a non smoking environment. Then i made my way to the room and it was still dirty from last guest. When i spoke to manager they had nothing else available. Then when i returned to room and put my items in the bathroom i noticed that the whole shower urtain rod was bent so bad that the shower curtain wouldn't even stay on. Ugh. Management was not happy with me. My Son and i made do with the accommodations even though we weren't happy. Hotel needs to be updated. Plus staff needs to be more polite.
