Everything I had no idea about the even reception

The room was okay for a one-night stay. My husband and I just wanted to be closed to where we were visiting on Sunday. We originally booked a king room and as soon as my husband walked in it smelled of cigarette smoke terribly (despite it being a smoke free property). When he went to tell the front desk, they had to move us into a 2 queen bed room since the one they originally had for us was the last one they had. We accepted and when we entered the room it was okay. The amenities are simple and nice but the room just didn’t look the best. The curtains and the top had stains all over and it made the whole room give a dingy vibe. Definitely one of those places I’d check if there was like bedbugs because of the overall feel. It was still a decent stay, but we probably wouldn’t book here again.

They have a nice breakfast spread with lots of options. Room was big a lil outdated but not an issue. Pillows were actually comfortable. Very quiet u can’t hear what’s really going on outside. Would stay here again.

It was a nice property. The breakfast was amazing. The employees were kind and helpful. I stayed in room 122 and the shower walls has black mold growing on it. Plus I went to swim and it smells like trash or death so it should be cleaned around the swimming pool.

I was scammed. I arrived on March 31st at 11:00 PM and spoke with the guy at the front desk to get my room assignment and pay the deposit. At 1:00 AM, they called me to say they had assigned me the wrong room and that if I wanted to keep it, I would have to accept additional charges. I hung up, and the next morning I spoke with the front desk again; they told me that they were not the ones who had called. A few days later, I found a charge on my card for $514, which I am now disputing as an attempted scam.

I love the location; you can find everything nearby. What I love the most is that the AC keeps it cool all night. The bed is comfortable, and there are extra pillows and a blanket. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the bathroom door is very inconvenient to open and close.

The breakfast they offered was amazing! Lots of choices and nice clean dining room to sit and eat. So I called ahead before booking the hotel to ask questions. I was told the pool was heated but it was freezing! Then when we tried the wet or dry sauna it was an epic disaster! The wet sauna took more then 10mins to kick on and after we finally had some time in there opened the door and the smoke alarm started going on and yelling “fire fire” so we tried the dry sauna and couldn’t get it up work so called the front desk with no response so said forget it! Now I know people like to walk and exercise but there were a bunch of random guys in the pajamas walking around the parking lot late at night and early morning at first I thought they were guests but I think they live there and there just staring you down so it’s freaking creepy! Also body wash was empty in the shower and the beds were so hard I could not get comfortable but some people like hard mattresses I unfortunately do not. The hotel was clean, didn’t charge a deposit, had an awesome breakfast so it wasn’t all bad.

It was nice and clean and quiet. I was told from the front desk that breakfast was served 6am to 1230pm. we got there at 11am and the lady said they were closed. miscommunication on the front desk, they need to be on the same page. but overall, it was nice. I will be coming back.

We stayed a night. The property is clean and friendly. It wasn’t too crowded because it was the first week of December. It’s a basic hotel that fills all our needs. The room was a little dark, but it was nice. I was worried it was a little close to the freeway, but noise wasn’t a problem. The included breakfast was great. I wasn’t expecting much but it was better than a lot of other hotels we’ve stayed at. If in the area and need a place to stay I would recommend.

One issue we had with room 127 had a ugly smell so we had to go to the front desk and get air freshener after spraying the room it was fine we have stayed there 3 time before never never had that problem ok thanks

The breakfast in the morning was good. The only complaint is we like to eat in our room and we had to use paper plates and plastic utensils. It would be nice to be able to use the regular dishes. They are bigger, stronger and better than the paper products.

This is our favorite hotel in the San Jose area. It’s safe and conveniently located near freeways and restaurants. The staff here are always friendly, helpful, and professional. 10/10

Front desk Susan was very friendly and helpful. She let me check in early. That was such great customer service. I was an emotional wreck and she helped me with my phone issues. Listened to me as I really was about to break. Kudos to such great compassion and empathy going above and beyound!!

On the plus side, each room has a microwave and mini-cooler. They have complimentary breakfast. And the staff is incredibly nice and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent, definitely one of the best parts of the stay. However, the overall condition of the property needs improvement. The room and hallways had a strong unpleasant odor, likely from the old carpets, which should really be replaced with hard flooring. The walls could also use a fresh coat of paint. The bedsheets were stained, which was very concerning, and overall the room felt just okay. With a few important upgrades, this hotel could provide a much better experience.

Watch out that 15 bucks overnight parking at the facilty

Room was nice, stay was perfect for the concert and shopping weekend. Only thing was we booked a room with patio or balcony and it wasn't available but room was still good

We had a pleasant stay. It was convenient location. Easy access to freeway.Hot breakfast and great service. My only concern is that i am waiting for my refund from Best Western as they charged my cc for a 1 day stay when I already paid 2 day stay in full thru Hotels.com

This is our second time staying at this hotel and we were very pleased with our stay. Super nice clean room, very quiet even though I know they were sold out for a concert. Very good breakfast included. Very nice coffee machine in lobby 24 hours a day with fancy coffee selections as well as in room coffee.

Great place to stay for couple of nights if you are visiting Milpitas, California. There is a big mall called Greatmall nearby and close to the freeway, and their complementary breakfast is impressive. I definitely would stay again.

We have stayed at the hotel multiple times. This time it was a bit disappointing. We didn’t complain about the condition of our room although we likely won’t be back this time. Our shower had mold on the wall in many spots, it looked as though it wasn’t vacuumed, behind each piece of furniture was trash from previous stays and our sheets on both beds had lots of hair showing the bedding wasn’t changed. I e ended up checking out a day early due to a family issue but wouldn’t have stayed either way. Also the beds were very uncomfortable as well.

One thing I found weird was that the washbasin was part of the room instead of the washroom.

The whole area smells of trash. In the hotel, carpets look like they have not been cleaned for years. Complimentary breakfast is a joke. Same menu everyday. Only potatoes if you are vegan. Plus the staff kept following us like we were about to steal something from their breakfast setup. They count towels and you can get only one fresh towel per person every day. If you miss the housekeeping lady in the morning then you will have to chase them to get fresh towels. I have stayed at other best western properties for much cheaper than what they charged here and had better experiences. Person at the front desk said that a 30 min extra time counted as late checkout. So we didnt take the risk and exited on time. All this when there were hardly two rooms occupied.

This is our second time staying at the property. The same employee that checked us in last year was the same this year. That was a nice treat because he is very pleasant! The hotel rooms are very neat and clean. Even though it's located close to the highway you don't much of the traffic noise. And the breakfast was great!

Great location, I have been staying in San Jose every week for over a year and staying at different places, this is my favorite they have the best breakfast and Monday thru Thursday they have dinner and all you can drink Bar for 30$.

I absolutely love this hotel. The breakfast is fantastic, the Staff is really great and the rooms are absolutely wonderful . I’ve been traveling back-and-forth from Florida to California for many years staying at different hotels, and this little gem popped up and I was immediately hooked. I loved my room. It was almost like a really cozy French château with French doors and a veranda I kind of felt like I was at the Beverly Hills hotel with the way that I was greeted when I got there from a gentleman name, Michael, he was superior with his customer service professionalism. He helped me with my luggage. He helped me with many things with the room as well as brought up my DoorDash order when it arrives he answered all my questions and it made my stay feel very luxurious if you’re definitely looking for a gem of a place to stay , this hotel is really the way to go

I like the convenience of walking distance shops and food. Easy check in (weekday), colours are nice inside and outside of building, room is clean, pillows and bed is firm and great breakfast selections. What I didn’t like is the smell in the hallway, the carpet in the hallway and in the bedroom. That was a turnoff for me plus, I saw how easy it is to enter the lounge from the outside without checking at the front desk- lacks security, since I saw a staff member hug someone from what seems to be non hotel guests and were able to eat breakfast. That same staff person asked me my room number but did not ask the couple that came in from outside. I find that appalling. So I’m a bit skeptical of this hotel. Hope management can take care of this as some guest, like me, are always observing of the surroundings. I travel frequently so this will be the same rating I will give under all the other websites I survey.

Unfriendly staff. Unprofessional attitude. Staff may or may not be present at the front desk and get annoyed when you look for them. On top of all this, they couldn’t find my reservation because they forgot to check their email (I booked through another agent) and had me call the agent for 30mins just to get to tell the hotel staff to check their email. Avoid at his place at all costs.

In the first night, I have been bitten by some insect. I have reported it at the front desk and shown the pretty big bite mark (was already 3 inch in diameter). The lady played it down and was busy trying to blame shift asking whether I had the window open (I did not) and they gave me a desinfectant wipe (like the ones I havd a dozen of from planes). No antihistamines - which I had to buy myself. Now, a week later, I still have trouble and racked up medical bills around $50 ... I would have at least expected some kind of support or partial refund for my medial cost (not speaking of the week-long itching). I mean, I was bitten by some poisonous insect in that hotel and it turned bad. Unfortunately, I cannot attach pictures here.

The stay was good. The hotel would probably benefit from a few upgrades but the comfort was there. I booked it because of the good reviews on breakfast and it was good, had good food options. The way the hotel is arranged it was a little confusing to find the breakfast area and exercise room since we were on the 2nd floor and not explained the amenities of breakfast, pool or exercise room upon arrival. Either way, we probably would stay again since it's in a good location.

Hotel was ok. Rooms, hallway, and external areas were having bad smells during extended period.
