I liked nothing about this location tried to scam me and my boyfriend and made up new policies without being posted anywhere. The property owner and his wife are both rude and disrespectful don’t book here floors are obviously fake tiles put on the actual floor so whenever you step it lefts and they don’t clean rooms after every guest when we checked in there was blood in the restroom on the toilet and wall, the shower was absolutely disgusting had black mold everywhere we saw so many bugs and don’t even think of taking off your shoes because the flooors are absolutely disgusting. Everything

The good side is the room was clean and a good size. The down side was the reception area stunk of curry and was quite un pleasant. The guy on reception could hardly speak English. He also asked for a $25 cash deposit for the return of the plastic door key. Thats a first? And the internet was dreadful it was almost in possible to get any.

This is an older motel, but the rooms are renovated and modern. It has access to each room from surface parking right outside the door. The location is very convenient and near shopping. While it is a great motel for short stays, the amenities are limited.

The location was great off of a main street and close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The toilet was not very clean. We were not notified that the deposit was cash only so we had to drive to an atm to get cash. When we asked for a printed receipt at check out we did not get one.

The room was clean. The downfall was the key deposit which is not mentioned in the reservation booking.

I arrived almost at midnight and needed $25 in cash for the room key deposit, which was returned at checkout. Luckily, I had cash with me. The room was clean.

Close to City of Hope Hospital (reason for visit), plenty of restaurants, and fast food selections

Nice budget motel, lots of local food options, convenient to the 210.

However, the pillows are hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable.

Property areas is good and easy to access to the Freeway. The only problem is the property owner is not taking care the Ice maker Machine for the whole time I am staying there.

Not what I expected for the price. Pillows hard as a rock, mattress and bedding sad, towels soooo dingy and stained. No closet to hang clothes, no iron, no coffee maker, loud early in the morning.

The people were rude, the room was filthy and the bed was inadequately made sheets were too small for the mattress, they moved a staff in next door and they were noisy.

A nice older motel, very clean and updated. Good location with lots of shops & restaurants close.

Oak Park Motel has an attention to detail that most off-brand motels don't. Everything in the room works great - television, refrigerator & microwave are excellent & the television remote is like new (they're usually beat-up and worn out.) The building looks like a hollywood movie set and the neighborhood is surrounded by suburban retail (sprouts & trader joes are about a mile and a half away.) Overall this is a 5 star budget motel (clean, safe, roomy, affordable.) My only complaint is the loud A/C unit (measured around 65 decibels on my iphone app - below pain threshold but loud enough to interfere with low volume conversation and television.) And the "pillows" feel more like bolsters than pillows. I slept great after driving all night from el paso so i'm happy enough to give 5 stars.

Comfortable bed , but those pillows they need to change them to softer ones . They’re so hard that I end up with a stiff neck. Other than that the rest of the room is ok.

Very clean , just wish housekeeping could come knocking on my door later than 9am. Other than that very happy with my stay.

The room and bath were very clean! I found the room to be cold even with heat on. The heater was quite noisy and I needed it on all night. It was reasonably priced for a place to sleep after a long drive from San Diego and a party. If the facility wants business guests, a desk and chair are needed.

We liked the parking but it was not accessible friendly. So no.

Only thing missing was coffee in morning. Otherwise quite nice. A nice get a way.

The motel clerk said I could go to an ATM and get the cash. As a traveler, I have no idea of ATM safety in the city where I was staying. I was fortunate to be carrying 20 dollars, which was acceptable. Not sure I want to go through this effort again.

Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Parking is also good. Everyone has a parking spot in front of their room.

I come here roughly around twice a month and I love it here! Since my father passed, and I had to move in to take care of my mother(she has dementia), whenever my partner and I get a chance to take a break we come here to relax and unwind even if its for a few hours. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view outside is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will continue to come here and enjoy the comforts this place offers.

Travelling Route 66 and this was one on the list of Historic Motels. Convenient, clean and had food options nearby. No coffee in room, but otherwise great.

Ice maker not working.

Conveniently located. No option for DO NOT DISTURB. Check in guy spoke horrible english. Tough to communicate. Ragged towels. Smoking room only was available. Terrible parking for anything bigger than a car.

They ask for a key deposit for $25.00, first ever experience. And also checking out too, they wait outside to clean the room. I don’t recommend this place.:(

I highly recommend Oak Park as a terrific hybrid of affordable plus modern. If you're like me and waste hours weeding out sketchy 2 or 3-star motels on Yelp, Oak Park was a relief: stylish, clean, extras (blow dryer, fridge, microwave) and a safe neighborhood. My only criticism? The woman clerk was pleasant, but the guy who checked me in was very dismissive when I requested a room away from the busy street. Road noise is normal for motels like this, and as a light sleeper I wanted some distance. If no quieter room was available, I'd accept that... but I only saw 3 cars parked in this 30-room motel. Clearly, this guy was unwilling to make any effort to satisfy a customer. That aside, I'd be happy to return to Oak Park. It's an excellent value.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Also, the room didnt have the stench of cigarette. I've requested nonsmoking rooms at other hotels and they still stank! My body temperature is always hot so I appreciate that the ac maintained the room nice and cool. I'll definitely be returning!

The pillows were great but the bed is solid like a plank. It’s a pretty big room so great price. Only bad thing was when I walked around with no shoes/socks the first night my feet were practically black like the floor hadn’t been clean but everything else was. For the second night after room service came it didn’t have that problem. Also great room service is everyday

This place is a great 3-star motel. It's clean, safe, affordable, staff is courteous, etc. No complaints.

The property was clean and well landscaped. The room had no coffee maker, no lamps, only overhead lighting. There was no closet or clothes hangers, only a bare rod. My sheets needed to be changed before I could lie on the bed. The towels had black marks all over them (?). All in all, not a very comfortable place to stay, although the staff was nice.

Was going here quite frequent till the customer service went awful they started becoming angry when I’d pay through hotel services like this one then giving my partner problems when they told me just show up instead and match the price and refused for him and multiple times wasn’t friendly upon him arriving and checking in. My last two visits I was put in the same dirty hotel with an ass stain on the sheets and bathroom floor and toilet dirty I feel after I kept staying there I was given the dingy gross room unfortunate because it was so convenient you would think they’d give better customer service to those who stay often.

The owners are really cool. Room was clean and cozy area nice and quiet with plenty of places to eat in the area.

The main issue with it is that the beds were so uncomfortable that it was frankly hard to get a good night's sleep. Otherwise its a reasonable place.

Unit was nicely decorated, clean and well located. Staff were very friendly. Only wishes were separate controlled lights at the bed and tissue dispenser. Good quality and pricing.

The room was clean butt the bed was to firm. We wanted to check in early but the person in charge refused until 3 PM even though the rooms were ready. He was very rude but his lady person was nice.

Mediocre, nothing special, adequate. They require a cash deposit for your room key. Libby is small, dark and not appealing. Only contact with hotel staff is from behind plate glass. Seems a little pricey for what you get.

The mattress was horrible I sink sync in the mattress that's how old and soft the mattress is, The floor was dirty and full of here all over the place AC unit that also get heat have a funny smell dusty because the unit have not clean for a long time you could tell and the television service is horrible you get limited station

Their was fly coming out of the bathroom sink both hole!!! the shower pipe & the bathroom sink pipe have Soap scum & some maki gewis stuff is like no one never actually put a brush or cloth to that room ot clean it off The room is well straighten out but not clean & the light in the bathroom is very dark I guess they don't want you to see how dirty to bathroom is because a side of the toilet is very dirty!!!

the only down side was the mattress. it is time to replace, my back noticed the difference. other wise all was good.

Main thing we were concerned about was the room was quite dusty the first night, causing severe allergies. Second night was much better after they serviced the room. Only other things to note are staff is limited so ask for things early, and check out is 11 am for you night owls. Overall wonderful stay, love the staff, quality of room and service, and convenient location.

This place is ok. You pay a deposit on the key which is odd. Cold air comes under the door. It’s a good deal for the price.

This place is great for what it is. A little Motel within a few miles of the Hospital. Rooms are updated and very clean. Flat screen tv, refrigerator and microwave as well. Best rate in the area. Will definitely come back if I am in the area.
