The staff have excellent customer service and the buffet breakfast is a rare find anymore and was great! The only cons were the room had a weird layout and the pool water was too cold and doesn't see much sun throughout the day.
- 1.5/5
Location Shower head was broken, toilet paper holder was broken & wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off badly
- 4/5
We had a very pleasant stay. We stayed 2 nights. Hotel was very good, good breakfast, friendly staff, pool was good and there was happy hour every day with drinks and snacks. Perfect before you go out to eat.
- 5/5
The property is beautiful!! Everything was clean, zero issues. Definitely looking forward to staying again in the future. They even have a little happy hour in the evening
- 5/5
Always love the breakfast buffet and the 5:30 social,I will always book with embassy suites because of that Everything was lovely
- 5/5
The evening bartender, Ron was exceptionally welcoming to our group and offered dinner suggestions and nearby attractions. Would definitely stay at this property again.

There was a lady picking up breakfast dishes and she was the absolute sweetest! She talked to me for a bit about our Girl Scout Troop that stayed at the hotel for our Charleston trip. The hotel was amazing. If I had any complaint at all it would be the parking is a WHOPPING $30 per car a night. I feel this should be included or at least a more reasonable amount. The place is awesome and I highly recommend.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great, and the staff was incredibly helpful, especially Ms. Stefanie and Ms. Tommie. Everyone was wonderful, and I will absolutely be back!

We had a great stay at the Embassy Suites. They had great rooms with beautiful view of the harbor. The property was beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Excellent stay!
- 4/5
Best hotel breakfast we have ever had! We dined at the restaurant for lunch or dinner a couple days and the food was excellent! We cannot say enough about the staff in the dining area. Professional and always pleasant to talk to. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Very high nice hotel. Great amenities. Great location. Nice breakfast buffet and lunch options.
- 5/5
Awesome room and fantastic breakfast! Our favorite place to stay in Charleston
- 4/5
Staff and cleanliness Parking confusion with hourly verses staying guest. Ended up doing hourly without knowing and paid every time I left the parking garage . Was suppose to be reimbursement after talking to front desk but haven’t been

It’s definitely worth checking out. The pool area was pretty, the rooms were spacious, breakfast was great and the staff was amazing. Our family will definitely be back!

Good location. A little pricey for the room we had.
- 2.5/5
The motel was short staffed. Only one person to handle the check in. Poor planning especially during a 70 team baseball tournament. I booked through booking.com and paid them on full for my room. I waited about an hour to get checked in. Stood I n line this long. Ridiculous and unacceptable. The receptionist asked for a credit card. I told her I paid in full for my room. I was told it was for incidental. I was NEVEr told I had to pay $32 for parking. It was not listed on the sight, booking.com nor was this fee disclosed to me at check-in. I did not authorize this charge to my credit card and I am going to dispute this charge with my credit card company. Very poor business and unlawful.

Please consider including body wash for the showers/bathroom. Lotion, shampoo and conditioner was provided by no body wash.

Clean property, great breakfast, helpful staff, convenient location to get around. Will definitely stay here again

Tucked away right by the harbor. Pretty views day and night. Complimentary drinks every evening. That it advertised balcony with a harbor view but you had to peek around the side of the balcony to get the view. Just don’t expect to sit on your balcony with a cup of coffee and stare at a view. It’s there but not straight ahead.

During my recent vacation, we stayed at 7 different hotels. Oddly enough, though this was the highest priced, this was our least favorite of all our stays. It's beautiful and in a very convenient location, but we would pick a different hotel in the same area for our next trip.
- 4/5
We were in for wedding, not realizing that the Blue Angels were in town also! The rain did not hold off any on lookers which made travel and parking difficult. We arrived later and were able to check in without issue. Our room was on the same floor as the ballroom, which happened to be hosting another wedding. The noise was no problem, however we were right next to the storage room and heard banging for an hour and half as staff put (assuming) tables and chairs away. We reserved a room with a view of the harbor, we were given a room on the total opposite side of the hotel. At check out the gentleman was super sorry for the mix up and gave us a partial credit. It did have a great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again, but would ask in advance of any events that are happening so we can plan accordingly.

all around amazing!!
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Breakfast was fantastic. Wonderful staff at breakfast and the grits and omelets were perfect!
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Room was nice. Strange location for hotel. Nothing within walking distance of hotel. Convenient location to get into Charleston.
- 4/5
It’s a lovely hotel across the river from downtown with a great view of the city. It’s outside of the crowds of Charleston so it’s quiet and peaceful. The hotel entrance is not clearly marked so we drove by a couple of times. The parking garage was a bit confusing as well. The restaurant was really good for an Embassy Suites. We went there twice because of the location.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
This is our second time staying here and it is a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed in a balcony room both times and we love the view. The whole facility is just beautiful.
- 5/5
Beautiful, fresh and convenient property. Staff were exceptionally welcoming.
- 4/5
The property is beautiful. We stayed in a King Suite corner room facing the harbor and the room itself lacked decor and was very minimalist and plain which did not match the property as a whole which is beautiful and elegant. The room just did not meet our expectation given the beauty of the property. The breakfast was fantastic and everyone was very professional and kind.
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and in great location. Bed and pillows were not the most comfortable and showing age. Also wish they would have offered makeup remover like other ES we have visited.
- 5/5
The entire property was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was spacious especially for 3 people. Breakfast everyday exceeded expectations. The bar/ restaurant and outdoor seating was perfect for late night.
- 5/5
Nice views Safe area
- 5/5
My family really enjoyed this hotel. It was very close to everything. It was very clean and the service was wonderful. The breakfast was very good and had lots of options.
- 5/5
The suite was very clean and the beds were comfy. I love the way they broke up the rooms. It felt like a small apartment. The refrigerator and fridge were a nice additive. The breakfast included a wide range of foods, including the "made to order" omelets. The front entrance was simply gorgeous and the evening reception was wonderful.
- 2/5
Room service food was garbage. Not worth $500 a night ..
- 5/5
The property was very welcoming to our dog and we never were made to feel like she was not welcome.
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Great park/gift shop/cafe/ice cream right next door. 10-15 min drive to some great restaurants and neighborhoods. A little less than a mile from water taxi that takes you to aquarium or waterfront park. Great sunsets over Ravenal Bridge.
- 5/5
Breakfast is amazing and clean and courteous. Great location to see everything. Loved the complimentary snacks and drinks.
- 5/5
Amazing, welcoming staff encountered at any and every opportunity.
- 5/5
Nice clean place.

Great facility right on the water
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and the breakfast was the best! Evening reception was nice Too.

- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
All good. Wedding the night we checked in and clean up was delayed but I get that. Otherwise great stay the staff is exceptional.
- 1/5
Second room was a suite but only had queen beds despite our reservationfor a KING SUITE. Finally, wasn't provided free drink cards, told parking was additional per night but in reality it was higher than what we were told at checkin, which was a surprise to begin with. Per night, none of which was disclosed when booking the room. Plan on sharing my horrific experience on social media, google reviews . Horrible .
- 4/5
Overall, a very good experience...nice room, very nice staff, nice little breakfast each morning with made-to-order omelettes. Amenities are a little basic (modest pool and gym area)...but a pretty decent price for a very good location that is close to almost everything. Their hotel restaurant is nothing special, but great places to eat nearby.
- 5/5
Staff was exceptionally friendly and informative. Hotel was gorgeous, spotless and in a great location
- 5/5
The room was spotless ! Staff was courteous and accommodating. The breakfast bar was the best we have had anywhere . Would love to stay here again in the spring !

This hotel was wonderful! It was a beautiful surprise. The free breakfast was delicious. Staff was great! I’ll definitely be back again.

Staff was amazing. Bugs in 2 rooms, no hot water in shower in 2nd room..
- 4/5
Good station. Pleasantly.
- 5/5
Great rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The only downside was the self-parking fee — $30 a day felt a bit steep, and I didn’t realize the charge until I arrived at the hotel. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay very much
- 5/5
Very clean warm and inviting
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, clean rooms. Friendly staff and centrally located.

Rick at the check in was extremely accommodating in getting the room that would elevate our stay!!

everything was great.
- 5/5
Very nice we like it and beautiful just like a home. I love Expedia
- 5/5
We enjoyed everything about our stay but the cost of the parking. We paid premium prices for our rooms so I believe the parking should have been included in our stay.
- 5/5
Overall good stay. Daily parking cost to high for this location.

The experience was great. The restaurant was great and consistently good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location

The hotel and staff were excellent. A great place to stay if you're visiting Charleston, but don't want to stay in the madness that is downtown Charleston. Less than 10 minutes over the Ravenal Bridge and you're right into the scenic downtown area with all of the shopping and restaurants and all that history.

We have previously stayed at the property before and we were pleased with the overall atmosphere. That is why we continue to support the Hotel with our business.
- 5/5
The daily breakfast buffet was delicious!
- 5/5
Great location, wonderful staff, fun happy hour! Rooms are big and clean. Enjoyed our stay very much
- 5/5
The breakfast was great! And Manager's reception each night was really good also. What I didn't like was that we had to pay so much for parking every night.
- 5/5
Beautiful new hotel with friendly staff and very clean rooms.
- 5/5
We had a great stay! Really enjoyed the breakfast options.
- 5/5
Beautiful, comfortable and quite. Loved it there. My only complaint is that my time went too quickly. We will be back..
- 3/5
parkingt garage doesnt even belong to hotel. hotel not physically connected to garage. cost 30 to park a day.
- 4/5
Area is fine, hotel is not bad
- 4/5
Pool was super small and not clean, very cloudy water. $30 parking fee on top of service fee. Room was ok but looks as no one puts effort to clean it, cleaning crew did daily beds and change towels, but no vacuuming or trash pick up .
- 5/5
Great location and great views of the harbor. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Wonderful place! Definitely will stay there again!

Property was excellent, room was terrible.

Property was excellent, room was terrible.
- 1/5
The reason I’m giving this property poor rating is because when we got there, we didn’t have a room . We had already paid full price on Expedia they said they would send us to another hotel for the night. It was called the walkover and they would just be $30 over there instead we were charged full price at that hotel another $400 and now we have been getting the runaround and have not received a return on our money.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Same with amenities (breakfast, gym, etc).
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 5/5
Very convenient to downtown Charleston & surrounding areas. Very friendly staff, ready to help if needed.
- 5/5
We have stayed at the property numerous times, and it’s one of our favorites. The rooms are spacious & immaculately clean, as is the rest of the hotel. The location is fantastic for families. You can easily get to Mt. P, IOP, Sullivan’s, downtown. There’s a playground & splash pad within walking distance. The kids love the pool at the hotel. They also loved the daily manager’s reception every evening. They were able to get drinks & snacks while waiting for dinner. Flood in the restaurante is great, especially the hot breakfast which is included. Room service typically arrived within 20 minutes when we ordered it.
- 5/5
Rooms were spacious and clean! More than we could ask for. We have stayed at owner fancier more expensive hotels and didn’t get the same service as here!!! Definitely would recommend this to others!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay clean, great location.

Overall our stay was great. We felt safe and the facilities were clean and well kept. Breakfast was tasty. Checkout was a little slow and they attempted to charge for late checkout which is a first for me.

- 5/5
The location is perfect, and the amenities added to the experience in all the right ways. Whether you’re traveling for business, with family, or for a relaxing getaway, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!
- 5/5
We had a good time Great place
- 5/5
The desk clerk was super sweet.
- 5/5
Loved this location and the hotel was very clean & accommodating. We loved the view of the harbor from our room. We had a wonderful stay. Will return.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and clean property
- 3/5
We “upgraded” to a corner room with a “harbor” view. We were placed on the 3rd floor with an obstructed view of the harbor due to surrounding hotels. Also paid over $300/night and still had to pay $30/night for parking in the garage attached to the hotel. Didn’t feel it was worth the upgraded price…
- 5/5
Clean propert, friendly staff, and a great breakfast
- 5/5
All was great

Overall the hotel is beautiful. I love Charleston and I plan to use Expedia again for travel.
- 2/5
Front desk staff was condescending and rude with one exception. Ex there were 3 adults in the room and all silver members. We were given 2 waters upon arrival. I asked for another one as we were 3 and was told no. Petty. Breakfast staff was great especially the omelet crew.
- 5/5
Great room and excellent staff!

Great experience and beautiful property

Great place!

Poor service
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. Breakfast was very good and coffee was shockingly excellent. Very quiet inside and out. Parking garage was a little annoying but we managed. Paid extra for harbor view and we got a strain your body off the balcony to the right side harbor view but other than that it was great. Beds were comfortable.

- 5/5
Lovely hotel! Would stay here again. Bought the Hilton Resort pkg. can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes is with Hilton!
- 3/5
Not very clean
- 2/5
I was charged more than double for parking (1 vehicle), even after confirming with front desk staff that I simply had to press the "hotel" button at the parking garage in order to avoid duplicate fees. I'm now having to dispute this fraud with my bank. Terrible service provided by the front desk staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel!
- 3/5
Beautiful property and great location. However, I was gone all day and they did not clean the room, and when I came back at 5 to get ready for a dinner meeting, the cleaner walked in. They gave a night's credit to make up for it so that seems fair.
- 5/5
Excellent facility! Need to charge more!

The lobby and rooms were extremely clean and well taken care of.
- 5/5
Staff at the desk were not kind.
- 5/5
The property was very well maintained and beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly!
- 5/5
Great experience! Highly recommend it for anyone!
- 4/5
The area is nice and easy to get to. The property looked well maintained and our room was clean, however there were large groups of sports players on this visit and the public areas had trash and food scattered about. Obviously staff could not follow them around cleaning up but it was disappointing.
- 4/5
Embassy Suites Charleston Harbor is stately and picturesque. The lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff is very accommodating. Rooms are comfortable.
- 5/5
Beautiful location
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Pillows not the best (too fluffy) and beds a little hard. The breakfast buffet included was so nice and the property is so lovely.
- 3/5
The bed in the room was probably one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on and was harder than sleeping in the floor. We ended up putting the pullout mattress on top of the bed for a tiny bit of cushion. Parking for the hotel was $30 a night which is kind of expensive. If it wasn’t for the mattress it would be a five star review.
- 5/5
Excellent spot with the most gracious check-in staff!
- 5/5
Nice property
- 3/5
didn't find the front desk staff to be very helpful or accommodating
- 5/5
Friendly staff and very close the wharf
- 5/5
This was our first visit to this hotel. The staff are excellent and so professional! Our room was ready when we arrived so we were allowed to check in early. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Our dog got lots of love from staff and fellow visitors. We felt like the staff really cared about us and we highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
I will be visiting there again soon!!
- 5/5
We have gone to Charleston once a year for many years now. This is our favorite place to stay! The employees are so kind and the location is fantastic. Housekeeping did a wonderful job straightening up our room daily and keeping our linens well stocked. My only complaint is that the carpet in our room (this past weekend) was showing some wear in some areas. Many thanks, Embassy for a wonderful anniversary weekend!
- 5/5
It was a safe and a nice hotel to stay at the area is close to everything that we went too. Service was amazing
- 5/5
Best experience! Had to leave another hotel unexpectedly due to the ceiling falling in on our room, and the embassy suites were so nice and accommodating!
- 5/5
Very nice place, clean and spacious. The only downside was we needed to do laundry and when we went down to do that, found out that it only takes quarters and we needed change and the hotel wouldn’t give us change. 3 loads was $18, who has $18 in quarters in their purse? So how are you supposed to do laundry? They need a change machine or get a CC reader on the machines. Other than that we had a nice stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and friendly
- 4/5
Very conveniently located in point pleasant-9 minutes from downtown Charleston. Staff is very kind and helpful. One of the few things that I found inconvenient was the parking situation in the garage behind the hotel. Gates didn’t work even with room keys and I ended up having to be buzzed in by the hotel every time I arrived or left. Directions from the garage to the hotel were also confusing; signage indicated check in was on level 2 even though it was level 1. Also my bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Hard mattress and pillows that offered no support
- 1/5
Room was too small
- 5/5
This Embassy suite is very new, so it is up to date. Very nice lounge/bar area, close to the bridge and harbor. I was able to have breakfast and dinner here, both were very good no complaints. The rooms are very well kept and updated, tv is large, the bed was comfortable. They do have a parking deck that is nice because its covered parking but you do have to pay per night to park.
- 5/5
my wife and mother in law love it.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! The view was amazing, the hotel staff was friendly, and the free breakfast was delicious. Thank you!
- 5/5
Had a great nice stay and the continental breakfast was out standing. Suite was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
My family stayed here for the Labor day holiday weekend and we couldn't have asked for better service and accommodations. We have already discussed returning because of the convenience and location was perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and smelled great, the air conditioning worked well, the common areas were gorgeous and had plenty of space. The property is in great condition and isn’t showing signs of wear and tear. Breakfast was delicious and had tons of options. It was weird to pay for parking in this location and the key cards didn’t always work. We saw an alligator/ crocodile thing near a pond close by the dog area. My favorite hotel during my family’s 2 week vacation.
- 5/5
Location was central to the areas we were interested in. Included good breakfast with made-to-order omelets.
