    The property was average to below average. cleanliness. The room was clean but other people areas of the hotel could have been better maintained. When we checked in, the front desk gave us one bottle of water for 2 guests and when I asked for a second bottle for my husband she said we could only have one bottle and we room. It was a 16.9 ounce bottle. Also, our room was for 4 guests with 2 queen beds and we only had 2 bath towels.

    The property overall was pretty good. It was clean and had everything it promised to have. It’s a little dated, but not really a big issue. The breakfast was not very good. Very little options, no drinks or milk for the cereal. But it was complimentary so do with that what you will. The staff were helpful, and overall not a bad place at all for the price. The location is convenient being near town, right next to lots of shopping and eating at Barefoot Landing, and only about 10 minutes from the beach.

    The front desk staff were very friendly, and helpful. The room definitely needs an update, but was clean for the most part. The halls and elevator smelled like someone had been smoking. The location was good and a nice, easy walk over to Barefoot Landing.

    My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Employees were great and very helpful. Only downside I found (and it was minimal) was the trash cans in the room. They were very small and did not have trash bags in them. Like I said; very minimal. Other than that, everything else was great.

    Ally was exceptional in making sure our housekeeping needs were met. We called housekeeping for clean linens and were greeted with an attitude. We never got them but when I approached Ally in the hallway she was friendly and reassured us that she would be back with what we needed. Front desk staff was also pleasant. The property does not give the comfort one would expect at a Marriott. It is definitely time to renovate or at minimum invest in carpet /detailed cleaning throughout the property.

We never got them but when I approached Ally in the hallway she was friendly and reassured us that she would be back with what we needed. Front desk staff was also pleasant.     Overall I was disappointed with this recent stay. When I checked in, I presented my service animal identification card to the gentleman at the front desk. When I got my final bill, I noticed that I had a pet charge on there. I know there are people out there who abuse this privilege, but I had two dogs with me that day, and only presented one of them as a service animal because it is registered as a service animal for me. I expect businesses to know how to handle service animals, what questions to ask, and trained their staff properly to handle these kind of issues.

    It was definitely below the standards of a traditional Marriot, but not too bad for the $100 charge. We were also charged a pet fee of $75. I knew there was a fee, but a fee that is basically the same as the reservation amount should be specified prior to booking.

    We loved the location because it was close to everything. The pressure in the shower, the pool, and the jacuzzi was lovely. I was disappointed in a few things. First the furniture in the room was so nasty and dirty. Also there was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom and we requested housekeeping that morning and when we made it back that evening our room was still not cleaned so I had to call and check but someone finally came. Hotels charge all this money for these rooms but don't want make sure things are clean and right. Lastly the sheet and top comforter on the bed had stains in them and it was disgusting. I don't believe house keeping change the linen like they suppose too.

    Great location, comfortable, helpful staff, cleanliness, bar, breakfast buffet, pets allowed, etc. I didn’t like the fact that the air conditioner wasn’t able to be controlled. It would come on and go off when it wanted to. We also couldn’t change the temperature from cool air! I didn’t like that when showering, the bathroom would flood a little. Also the bathroom light switch was broken. It worked, but was cracked!

    The room was clean, however it’s not set up for a woman staying there. Small counter top with no room to lay out make up bags, toiletries, hair accessories, etc! Lighting wasn’t good in the bathroom area for getting ready either. The bathroom itself had no shelf space to lay anything out, nothing to hang the towels on, no bar rack on the shower door, no trash can in the toilet area. Little things like that are noticeable. The TV guide only listed the channel numbers not what was currently on them. The room didn’t seem to get as cool as the 65°I set it to. The door lock didnt work, only the latch.

    Nice sized room, and it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly (especially the front desk when I checked in). They were also helpful. I had locked my key card in the room as I was making a second trip to bring in items from my car, and fortunately a housekeeper who saw me get in the room initially was still around when I realized I was locked out and she remembered me tand used her pass card to save me an embarrassing trip to the front desk.

    I liked the location. Not too far from good restaurants and stores. Easy to turn into traffic Housekeeping was TERRIBLE. Nobody seemed to know what was going on to reserve rooms properly. Immediately after checking in, bringing everything up the elevator FOUR FLOORS + my kids, one of the housekeepers gets an attitude due to the fact the manager was assigning rooms that had not been cleaned on that floor & told me that “I need to go back downstairs and get a different room”. Just rude and attitude so nasty. Room situation was resolved.. Next day, I had to ask if housekeeping would be coming to my room because no one attempted to stop by & I didnt have a sign up. I was told they would come while I was out… Returned later that evening to find more washcloths and towels & the sheets just PULLED BACK! One of my kids accidentally wet the bed & they just pulled the cover back! didnt change it or NOTHING! piss poor housekeeping. The box springs were VERY stained with brown circles. There appeared to be stains & possible mold on the wall behind the nightstand. 0/10 do not recommend! I normally book with Marriott hotels & this was the WORST ever! Seems like a popular location for the service to be so poor.

The pool had way to much chlorine were eyes were burning just being in there. Would probably not go back. Farther from the beaches and food then I wanted to be.     The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. The location was great with shopping and restaurants nearby. Free onsite parking. Easy to get to off the highway. I really liked the fact we had to last minute modify our reservation and worked through booking and hotel was able to accommodate our request without canceling the entire reservation. The hotel also sent a email to confirm our arrival and confirm arrangements made. Check in and check out was easy. Also upon arrival the guy at the front desk I think named Josiah was extremely helpful offering recommendations for eating and local restaurants. Nothing

    Close to restaurants We had dirty linen on our beds with yellow stains. The chair in our room had brown stuff on it as well as our shower curtain. Moldy smell in rooms. Dead ants all over the bathroom. A roach was crawling on our wall.

    We could not ask for a cleaner room. The staff were so sweet. Our A/C thermast was needing new batteries; as it was turning itself off. Called housekeeping and they contacted maintenance. Within minutes, they were at our door to address the problem. We were very impressed by how quick it was addressed and the politeness of the gentleman who showed up.

    Our 2nd room (yes #2) did not appear to have been cleaned between guests. Everything was so dirty: the baseboards-yuck, all the doors-more yuck. The bedroom, alcove, bathroom and sink area walls all had feces looking materials on them especially around the toilet and where the towels hung. Gross!! The toilet was broken under the lid and black with mold. The shower stall, sink area and front door mouldings were cracked and inside the cracks was moldy. The sheets were dirty w/yellow stains, hair & had what looked like floor dirt. The carpet was also very dirty. I spoke with the front desk manager about everything. He asked if I made a report to the front desk to give housekeeping A CHANCE TO MAKE IT RIGHT. My response was that new guests have an expectation that housekeeping takes the opportunity to get it right BEFORE I or any other guest check in. Guests should NOT have to ask anyone to GET IT RIGHT after they check in!! Still he wanted to argue that it was too MY responsibility to see that the work was done correctly AFTER I checked in. He had no real concern about my experience. Although he did offer me a 10% discount for my troubles ($17.90) why, though, if he didn't feel that the hotel was culpable for any wrong doing? We will not book with another Marriott nor embrace another Bonvoy experience.

    Nice location plenty of restaurants close by and right down the street from Barefoot Landing. Penny at the front desk was amazing and very friendly with a great bubbly personality. Pool and hot tub was amazing pool was heated and it was late Feb and im able to enjoy a pool and hot tub. Room was nice and spacious the chair in the room made it nice to have somewhere to sit other than the bed and computer chair. Shower was amazing also and the body wash shampoo and all was great smelling. Will definitely stay here again.

    The hotel is in desperate need of repairs and remodeling. They are currently replacing mattresses but at no time during my reservation booking was I informed of this inconvenience. The side door was wide open at 9pm at night when we arrived due to the workers brining the mattresses in and out there. Mattress frames and random pieces were blocking the side road of the building I asked for a lower level room because if the dog accompanying me and I was put on the 3rd floor. The hvac wasn’t working when we arrived and had to be unplugged and restarted as it wasn’t controlled from the thermostat. The room was dirty and had some random pieces of trash on the floor, the cubbies had something sticky in them, and the shower curtain was filthy. The water pressure was extremely low and had to run a good 10 -15 mins to get lukewarm water. The restaurant is non existent and you can only charge to your room. They don’t even offer coffee or water without having to go out. I was very disappointed and will be looking for a refund.

    Nice enough property but need more attention to detail. One of the plugs in bedside lamp not working which was in convenient with CPAP and trying to charge phone. No trash can in bathroom annoying. The bathtub toggle switch from bath to shower not tightly sealed so while taking shower bathtub filled up. Not the end of the world but annoying. The front desk folks were friendly and helpful. Quite good.

    Nice stay. It is a lovely location. We had been in Wilmington for a concert and just wanted a day to roam around Barefoot Landing, so the location was perfect. The lady who checked us in was wonderful!! She was so kind and charming. The room was very comfortable except that the AC unit was a little bit loud but not awful. Ultra comfortable and clean linens and towels.

    We didn’t get here until 12:30 am and the desk attendant was extremely nice to check rooms to make sure my elderly parent’s had a room with a walk in shower. Hotel is well maintained and rooms are very clean and comfortable.

    The rooms do not look like the pictures. Bathroom nasty and not update. Shower curtain had mold. Ac unit smelled like smoke. Carpet was dirty and bed liens was not clean. Had to switch rooms. New room was tiny bit better but i will never stay here again. Not courtyard behavior. Indoor pool had a lot of hair everywhere. Also water in hot tub was filthy brownish color

    The property was in a fairly convenient location at the destination and check-in was quick and easy. The room, however, was not as comfortable as the marketing had indicated. Here’s why: the room is very cramped with a very small bathroom/vanity area which also included the closet for hang-up clothing which made it feel even worse. The carpet in the room seemed to have an odor to it; the bed was too soft for my wife’s comfort and lastly, the seating in the room is outdated and NOT comfortable! In fact, the seating was among the worst I have ever experienced in motel/hotel stays!

    This Courtyard is showing its age. The A/C unit needs to be replaced NOW. Carpet needs to be cleaned by shampooing. Room is quiet. Breakfast - good, but $37 for bacon & eggs and a bowl of oatmeal? I know food costs are up across the board, but golly Bill.

    There was bed bug on our bed, brought to reception and showed it to them. They only gave $1.50 to dry our clothes and did nothing else. Other hotels I stayed at never had any bed bug problems. Cook at the bistro lied to us about the breakfast and was rude to us compared to other people. Everything else was fine

    The front office staff was amazing!! The best part of our stay. The room it self was very “lived in”. Not the cleanest. The bathroom especially was dirty. The floor, the shower had hair on the floor and the walls and there wear beard hair and shaving cream left smeared on the shower walls. I was shocked, especially because it was a Marriot.

    Great location between north and south beach. Rooms need updates...floor had lots of hair and food crumbs from many other guests. Bathroom had some mold and mildew. I tried cleaning but it wouldn't work. Hotel was fully and change rooms. petfriendly and affordable. Breakfast should be included for the price.

    Didn"t get the room I paid for, room did not come with a sofa instead had 2 regular chairs with a foot stool. Made mention to Desk and they said there were no different in the room other than the furniture. In order to get the room paid for the Desk reception said we would have to check back out and wait for about 2 hours for a room to come available.. Was not please at all with the service.

    Upon checking in, my first room hadn’t been cleaned. After speaking to the front desk about the issue, I was issued a different room number which was not the room I booked for. Upon entering into that room I noticed the shower had 2 used wash cloths still hanging in the shower from previous guests. Overall, not the best experience and I was not issued a discounted rate or return of funds for the inconvenience.

    Absolutely loved the stay, this was a last minute booking due to our other hotel not being what they said. But the courtyard welcomed us like family and Kaitlyn checked in with us daily.     Our overall stay was good. The Hotel is in a convenient location easy to find. The room was nice and comfortable just as described. The staff as a whole were friendly and helpful especially one of the managers who resolved what has been a major issue at other hotel chains iv stayed at when my Credit card company froze my card due to unusual charges contacting me before doing so causing me to be declined for a payment.

    The squirrels were in the trash can. Was unsure if they were tame enough to walk in the end building door. Otherwise the property is beautifully landscaped and green. Can see they pay lots of attention to it. Front desk staff were sooooo nice, respectful, and in such a good mood! The entire staff were helpful. Housekeepers stopped what they were doing and answered questions about my room location. Love the 12:00 checkout. I loved this hotel!!!

    I’ve stayed at this property many times but it’s run down and rooms are tore apart. Shower curtain was torn and had seen better days. I’d say it’s a mid range 3 star hotel mostly business and golf crowds.
