The room was perfect! Wish we were staying longer - staff was exceptional! I had an 11 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old and all the staff were friendly! Breakfast was amazing and great options for all of us.

I had a great 2 night stay at The Staybridge. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the social hour (free wine and hors d’oeuvres). The staff was absolutely amazing, they made you feel right at home. Will visit this hotel again!

Neat and clean

Once settled in the new room, we ran into an internet outage and Dominic went completely above and beyond. He personally arranged for a technician to come out the same day and get it resolved. That kind of fast, proactive service is rare and genuinely appreciated. Both Liz and Dominic deserve recognition for making what could have been a frustrating stay feel well taken care of.

The room was very clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing and clean.

Check in was easy and the clerk was friendly. The property is showing some age. It could use some Reno, but the staff works very hard to keep it as clean as possible. The room space was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. Not continental. Full breakfast y’all. Hotel is conveniently located to broadway and Tanger shops. Check out was a breeze. Hotel is pet friendly. Will definitely be back.

Very clean, staff was kind, clean rooms, comfy. Located right near the highway easy on easy off 10-15 mins or less to downtown Myrtle Beach. Close to tons of restaurants, Walmarts, stores, etc. Nice breakfast set up every morning and Monday-Wednesday I think are free nightly snacks which is pretty cool, they had a salad station, meatballs, fruits, it was a nice touch. Great price for everything! Pool wasn’t open when we went. But it was also still a little cool. So IDK if that’s the reason? Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The bed sheets had a red stain on them, which looked like a blood stain. The breakfast was wonderful.

Rooms were ok for the most part. Basic upkeep would help. Bedroom door handle came off, door stop wasn’t installed which left the mirror behind the door vulnerable to be broken, room card key constantly had to be replaced. I would say the biggest issue was the animal waste on the property. Being that this is a facility that allows dogs it should be a top priority that the grounds are kept clean either by the guests or the staff. The hotel has a nice pool area and basketball court. Potentially a great place to stay just needs some attention.

Breakfast was above and beyond! Excellent variety and options and the employees kept it stocked and clean even on the very busy Memorial Day weekend. Our room was very clean and staff was attentive and friendly. The only thing was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the shower humidity was thick.. just concerned about the possibility of mold (thought none visible).

This was my first time at an IHG property. I was impressed. The suite my family had was a good size. If I could say anything bad was the bathroom size. It needed to be about 2ft bigger that's all. It had a small kitchen we didn't use but was available. Room was clean. I did see 1 stain on a cushion in sitting area Beds were comfortable.

Very good hotel, but a little run down. For example, in the suite where we stayed, the bathroom door would not lock, the dishwasher did not work, and a curtain had a hole in it.

I would definitely NOT recommend this establishment, if my LIFE depended on it!! They could care less about their customers. Customer Service and maintenance are a JOKE. The air conditioner was never fixed. in the room. Nor, did I move to the room that was being saved for me. They sold the room to someone else, instead. The management is HORRIBLE!! This African American Female, Solo Traveler was treated inhumane, eleven hours from home.

We don't have popular names & if/when this happens at other hotels, they locate our reservations using our confirmation number usually in an email. Then match the name on my license to the name on the reservation. We were not offered a bag of snacks & bottle of water like the other guests. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone with Allergies/ chemical sensitivities or Mass Cell Activation Syndrome- there were multiple different Extremely strong smells thought out the hotel! The lobby smelled like old lady perfume that was way too strong! It made my throat sore & sneeze, the hallways had multiple different smells variant from carpet that needed to be shampooed, to strong cleaning solutions. The room smelled like old Chinese food- which was a brief relief from the many smells I attempted to walk passed while holding my breath. I only had an issue while in the hotel- hours out of the place my breathing became more regulated. I even asked the front desk what was being sprayed in the lobby and multiple staff didn't know…. The sheets weren't clean- they smelled somewhat of like mens cologne, and cigarettes- it was so late by the time we got to bed i didn’t realize & made it hard to sleep/ also whatever they sprayed on the fabric part of the chair irritated my sinus… i had to cover my face n speed walk does the halls whenever i left the room. Its really a shame if the smells were more clean & it could’ve been a great place. We even had our Travel air purifier in the room and it was registering that there were harmful things in the atmosphere for quite some time and we clean one room…Those are first & last time staying there.

Door handle broke on the inside and left us wondering how to get out. figured it out but kept falling off. Whet to front desk and the attendant was surprised but would send maintenance up in the morning. I got a pair of plyers in case it failed at the wrong time. Breakfast tables were sticky both days we ate there. I cleaned the first day my wife found someone the second. Need a better manager there. All of housekeeping were wonderful.

We had a plumbing issue in our first room immediately but the front desk switched our room immediately so it wasn't a big problem.

The location is great to the beach only a short 10min drive. The shower kept clogging and needing to be drained and the entire bathroom smelled of mold. No sheets in the room for pull out sofa had to go to front desk. No dishwasher soap, and the entire room had a musty smell. Also, they do not take AAA we were told.

This hotel was very comfortable for my hold family. … is not near the beach ( 12 minutes )but is was very spacious, and clean.. fully recomended. That it was not infront of the beach.

We liked the location and availability. Everywhere else was sold out and this was a last minute reservation The broken door handle left us feeling insecure. Things were in disrepair, the 3rd floor and room smelled of mildew and mold to the point it gave us all a headache and made us feel sick and the cockroaches crossed the line.

Good size room. Shower had good water pressure. They advertise that they serve breakfast between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. When I went down to the lounge area for breakfast at 8:00 AM it was closed and the front desk person said there was no breakfast that day because they did not get the delivery of food supplies. In my opinion, that was unacceptable excuse.

The first two rooms didn’t have hot water. The water had to run 45 to heat up to lukewarm. The room phones didn’t work. Our rooms were switched the next morning to a two bedroom but the beds weee smaller, when I informed them of a specific health reason for booking the larger bed, I was informed that no other rooms were available and there were only 9 king sized beds in the entire hotel. We were 1 of 8 guests at the hotel. My concerns were dismissed. There wasn’t any breakfast one morning and no explanation was provided. The second set of rooms had door handles that were loose and did not keep the doors closed. Leaking faucets in the tubs t he at dripped all night. Dirty cups were stuck to the bathroom counter.

The stay was excellent. It's right next to Medieval Times which is very convenient for us. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. Room was very spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was very good. Would absolutely stay here again.

I had several issues with my stay. The door was hard to open, the toilet leaked on the bottom, and both my husband and I had cold showers even though the knob was turned all the way up to get hot water.

We like the location of this Staybridge. For the most part there are no complaints except for one issue. We had a couple items in room that needed to be fixed but never was. The concern on their part was non existent.

The location was beautiful, the front desk associate was welcoming and friendly, very informative. The location was clean and up to date. The rooms had accommodating space. The only problem we encountered was when the water was such off due to a broken pipe. We didn't know until my toddlers had to use the rest room after our road trip here and found out. - other than that, i wish we stayed longer !

They provide breakfast in the mornings and a little snack in the evenings. There isn't much of a view but a good location that's close to stores, attractions and restaurants.

We love the mini kitchen with untensils, pots and pan, mini stove and full size fridge. When we enter the lobby it smells and looks clean, the hallway too. However the room smells and feels wet but looks clean. Other than that, the room is okay, We enjoyed our stay, if we come back to Myrtle beach we will probably book again.

Breakfast was open 15 minutes let and then bacon and eggs weren’t refill after the first round of people came through. We left and got breakfast somewhere else. Room was not that clean.

The staff is incredible. They were kind and sweet and responsive. But the hotel itself is rundown and really needs some updates and repairs. Unfortunately, our room smelled like mildew and mold. We never mentioned it to the front desk though because we were busy running around with family. And frankly, I guess I was just hoping it would go away.We were there for four nights and after the third night, I wished I had said something. So we tried to spend as little time as possible in the room because of the smell. The carpets are worn and the elevators are slow. But again, the staff were wonderful. Every time we reached out and requested new towels, we got them. Something to note though is that we reserved and paid for a one bedroom king suite. When we checked in, they told us they were out of those and put us in a queen standard room. However, we paid for the king one bedroom suite. So I had to spend an hour on the phone with hotels.com to try and get some money back since we ended up in a standard room and not the king one bedroom we paid for. It was frustrating and annoying because the hotel was telling us that it was hotels.com that needed to make the decisionand hotels.com was telling us. It was the hotel and neither one of them was agreeing to refund us even a little bit. Again, after a little over an hour, we got a little bit of money back. But I’ve been through some of the reviews now and it seems that this is a common issue with this hotel so be aware.

Industrialized areas

The rooms were outdated and alot of noise in hallway.

Our room on the 3rd had a strange odor upon entering, similar to an industrial or synthetic odor from new carpet. Not offensive but noticeable.

The food area was messy. The buffet serving utensils were cross-contaminated. As for our room, the decor is also dark colored (dark brown). The clock in our room was 3-hours wrong. The room was hastily cleaned. Lastly, I was not made aware that there was a $75 charge for a small pet until check in. I called the hotel directly and was not advised of a pet fee. It's also not listed on the website. It says Pets Welcome. This was literally the dirtiest Marriott property I've ever stayed at. We decided not to take advantage of the pool.

This hotel is good because it is cheap and has a warm and tasty breakfast. The room is clean, but it smelled awfully of smoke. It is not a good option for a holiday with children, because you need to drive 11 minutes to the ocean, pay extra for parking and there is a place for an umbrella on the beach.

Despite the good reviews, it seems like this property reached its prime at least 10 years ago. It seemed to run down, not very clean, and most of the staff were not very hospitable. We wish we had taken pictures, but the desk chair had a broken back, the couch had a rip in it, The panel below the dishwasher had fallen off and was patched with a board that fell off as well. The breakfast was OK, but the first day a lot of food ran out with 30 minutes to left during the serving time. Our last day, Sunday morning, the breakfast worker didn’t even show up and there was no breakfast to be had.

This stay is trash. The room we booked wasnt the room we got. (Booked king suite got a queen single). I went down and asked what the deal was and she said thst my room was already sold beforehand. They dod upgrade us to a 2 room suite with a king and a queen bedroom. However, the whole floor smells like mildew and there are drywr fans blowing on the walls in the hall. There is unknown material in the closets floors that looks remotely like dog food. The smoke alarm is continuously beeping and they told me to take it off the wall to silence it since nobody was around to fix it. This is after i had to walk down to the lobby becausr none of the 3 phones in the room actually call the desk. Oh and the sink has a trash can under it to collect the leaking water. We would have packed our things and left if there was even one room available at a compareable hotel. Do not stay here. It is awful.

The room was spacious and clean. My family and grandbabies fit comfortably in the two bedroom suite. However, one of the bedrooms had a terrible smell (wet, damp and sewer-like). I mentioned it to the front desk upon check out but I wished I would have said something sooner.

DO NOT Stay here. The hotel and room itself was a pleasant stay. However, when I returned home I realized that $1,831.76 was taken from my account on 5/25. Today is 6/12. The lady at the front desk mentioned that my Expedia stay of 1 night was changed to 10 days. Why?? The GM, Monica, is never available to rectify the situation. At this point, I'm seeking legal action. If you stay here, please check your bank accts after your stay to make sure they didn't accidentally add a "0" to your 1-night stay like they did my family. There is no corp # to call as this is a franchise. Monica will be your only way to escalate. Good luck!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for our purpose. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are happy. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of choices.

Mattresses were horrible spent 2 nights sleeping on loveseat. Found last customers hair oil when closing living room curtains. Slow to clean up messes. Family with kids left popcorn spread from dining area down halls at social. When breakfast started in morning , popcorn was still all over from night before. Staff was nice, breakfast selection was good they even had evening social and offered food and drinks. If it weren’t for inability to sleep I might have overlooked the mess as a shortage of staff problem. But at the price point I paid I was very disappointed.

Staff members were the most helpful and friendliest people we’ve ever had. There was a mistake with our original room we booked and they immediately got it corrected even though it was 10:30pm. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. This is our second time staying at this hotel and will be our sole choice next time we’re traveling back to the area.

Stayed for 1 night for $290. Two full and one queen bed are ok. Only complain is the breakfast. Terrible. A lot of people were waiting for the waffle. The breakfast place is too small. Lack of choices, and cheap quality and look awful. No bacon, Cheese egg is soaked in some kind of liquid I don't know, sausage was dried I didn't even want to try. There were some cereals, few apple and bananas, no yogurt. They didn't even have coffee brew during day time, only served in morning. Poor experience. Will not come back.

Pool, jacuzzi basketball court, outdoor grill area under pavilion all great, if only it didn't rain practically the whole time All activities 15-20 minutes away Beach less than 15 minutes away. I would stay again.

The hotel was nice. I didn't research enough so there was no beach. The pool was nice but the water was hot.

Booked this stay at the last minute because another hotel canceled my family’s stay. This property was completely booked but had a guest check out and the room became available. It was 9 o’clock at night and the staff made sure to get housekeeping to clean the room even though they were off duty, it made a big difference after a stress beginning to my day. Front desk was awesome and made sure we were comfortable until our room was ready.

The Stay was great

Booked this room because it was close to the location of a dance competition we were attending and the cost was affordable. Pros: building & room were clean and smelled great. Hotel breakfast had lots of options. Cons: kitchen staff could have kept the eating area cleaner. Bed weren't comfortable.
