Comfort Inn & Suites Brentwood - Nashville

We booked last minute on a road trip. We were very surprised there was a room and that it was so comfortable and convenient for us. The price was reasonable too.

It was a great stay for a work trip.

we had a great stay at this hotel - the staff were professional and very friendly. The room was clean and the furnishings new. The hotel is located right behind a shopping center (publix/starbucks) so it was super convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

Showers have been very nicely updated. Asked for early check in and was easily granted. Only reason did not give across the board 10s was because of 3 minor flaws. 1) ice machine didn’t work on our floor but small trek down the stairs right around corner to next floor did not seem too much of inconvenience. 2) as I stated they were still in process of updating the property and the hall way had a strong paint smell (only in our hallway - could not smell inside our room luckily) 3) and also had an ugly eyesore construction dumpster in the parking lot as you enter the property. However it did not affect parking as the main entrance is on the back side of the hotel. Very centrally located to a lot of what Nashville has to offer. Will definitely choose to stay here next time.

I like the breakfast but the elevator is dirty.

Just hope they can keep up with maintenance. While the renovations look nice, there are small areas of wear and tear that are starting to creep up.

It was a convenient location. Disappointed that the floors in the hallway were filthy and the breakfast was not replenished. They only had apples as a fruit and I felt a bigger variety would have been better. The elevator was not working for the first couple of days so it was difficult only because I have a disability.

It was a clean hotel, comfortable beds and the night clerk was amazing. The day staff ignored us when we arrived and the property is under some construction, but they still kept the property nice on the inside.

Breakfast was very basic and, compared to other 2.5-star hotels, quite limited. The options were minimal, and the only meat served throughout the day was pork. If you do not eat pork, you may find the food choices particularly restrictive.

The hallways have always been dirty, every time I've stayed here. There was a dumpster in the rear parking lot with a lot of debris. Breakfast is below average. Worst of all, the elevator wasn't working. Check ahead before you reserve.

This facility was in poor condition. The elevator was broken, there was no cover on the bathroom fan, and the drapes were so long they covered the HVAC unit. The TV worked well and the bed was fine. However no coffee at the so-called "free" breakfast, which offered nothing to beat.

Stay for military service and asked repeatedly for the wifi password that was being used downstairs because the guest wifi kept dropping. I stated that I was on a government service laptop and needed a stable wifi connection due to if the wifi continued dropping my laptop would have crashed with classified documents. I even left a note with one of the clerks to pass along to be contacted about retrieving the wifi downstairs. I nevered received a call or any indication that they received my note I left. I stayed 10 days at this place and had to walk the steps every day because the elevators did not work the entire time i was there. I had five huge bags to carry up and down steps but they didn’t care to call someone about the elevators even after I reported it. The staff was terrible and didn’t care about the people. I will be calling corporate tomorrow most definitely because my whole stay was terrible. I had to travel miles up the road to do confidential work because I could not do it from my own room.

Ice machine on our floor was busted, and it was a little rundown, BUT, they are undergoing renovations, so they obviously recognize this and are fixing it.

I checked in easily and the night clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and I was able to walk a short distance to a grocery store and restaurant.

It was okay. Breakfast was ok. Room was good. In a transition period. Put us on the fourth floor with a broken elevator.

There was nothing we didn't like

Everything was dirty except the new tub, terrible food, the bagels you could hit with a hammer. Elevator broke for a lengthy time so you had to walk up flights of stairs. Wifi was difficult to connect to.

Location I’m handicapped. They guaranteed downstairs room in writing but put me on the second floor. The elevator broke. Other hotel guests had to carry my scooter and assist me up the stairwell to my floor. I asked the wretched girl at the front how was going to get my room since I was handicapped.Her reply was “not my problem, don’t know, don’t care”…. Then she called the police on me for no known reasons. A man was in the lobby and came up to me and said I had not said or done anything wrong. Needless to say I videotaped everything. Police came up to room and apologized for her unwillingness to help and her call. The next day I was able to use the elevator to get downstairs but the next afternoon it was broken again. The building was under renovation and messy/trashy inside and especially outside. It was the trip from hell. I have to travel on business to Nashville/Brentwood several times a a guest and always stay here. Never again!!!!! Who calls the police on on a 69 year old handicapped lady traveling by herself. I live in dignity and with order. Half of my floor was not completed and workmen were staying in nearby rooms which also made me feel unsafe. There was no shower curtain in my bathroom. I had to bring and use my folding chair to to to put in the bathroom so I could clean myself. When drove up to check in there was a car with a shreaded tire and broken out windows parked near the front door. When I checked out it was still there. The hotel said rooms weren’t available on the first floor when I checked in however the Illinois Institute of Technology ice hockey team was assigned rooms on the first floor and throughout the building. This was a five night business stay. It was a five night trip from hell. Please consider not ever staying at this property. It will take me quite a while to get over the trauma of my circumstances and how I was treated.

a fine hotel for the price and area

Parking was superior as we were permitted to leave a long trailer in the parking lot while we took the truck to tour. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold options. The area is VERY safe. Front desk staff was SO nice.

We stayed 5 nights. It was good.

There was a microwave and fridge with freezer in the room, which is important. The lighting was nice but not enough outlets. The room was not well cleaned, there was hair on the pillows, bedspread, all over the bathroom floor and in the shower.

Brand new shower. Hot water Full beds- as advertised/ not queen. Breakfast and coffee complete array of choices- hot and cold with fresh fruit.

One very important thing. The hall carpet on the first floor was buckled in the middle and I tripped on it several times. I told the front desk and I was told that maintenance was told. I said you got some duct tape to tape it down so people won’t trip. I was told that they were not allowed to do things like that because of appearance and that was strictly not the staff’s job and he apologized. I thought that was dumb of corporate to make a rule like that. 1. It is a liability, some old lady could trip on it and bust her face open 2. A piece of duct tape could have temporarily fixed the problem or a yellow caution cone placed over it and a sign could be put up that apologizes for the inconvenience. Overall the room, food and staff were 5 star.

Well-lit parking lot, available close handicap parking. Breakfast has good options for those wanting a healthier breakfast. Sausage is better quality that doesn't give an after-reminder that you ate it. Soft bagels. Great coffee.

The room was less than expected. There were positives, e.g. bed linens, pillows and the towel linens were very good quality. Daily housekeeping efforts get an A+. I enjoyed having fresh towel linens, remade beds, and trash cans efforts were very appreciated. Hot water always available. There were negatives as well, e.g. stained older carpet, falling sink counter. Damaged towel bar. Damaged shower curtain. Bearing noise in bathroom fan was very annoying. Only a single outlet at the bed and no other outlets easily accessible near the bed for overnight phone charging. No outlet accessible for laptop power at the desk. I would most likely not stay at this hotel in the future due to the above.

We’ve stayed here many times over the years, but sadly there were issues during this particular stay. Thankfully, the staff did their best to resolve it and we did end up switching rooms. They were so accommodating! Overall though, the property is feeling really dated, some of the other guests were problematic.

The staff was fine straightforward the rooms felt very stale cold and a little bit dirty unfortunately. Otherwise it served its purpose. It was a great price and I really can’t complain. Other than the cleanliness factor. I should be clear. It wasn’t disgusting and trashed. It just felt a bit grimy in the room on the floors in particular, which utilized a lot of that fake linoleum, wood flooring.

For the price it was a good place to stay. Very clean. The only thing we noticed was that a bar of soap had been overlooked in the shower. Other than that everything was adequately clean. Everything in the room worked as expected. Shower had good pressure and got more than hot. TV was a good size but wasn't a smart TV so only cable channels with lots of commercials. The included breakfast was a tad underwhelming. Eggs sausage hash browns cereal toast waffles and a couple other things. If you're looking for a place to spend the night it's a great option.

Check in was great. Staff was friendly and it was actually the quickest i have ever been checked into a hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. So all of that was great. However the breakfast was horrible. The eggs were like water, the potatoes werent even cooked all the way and the sausage, well i dont know what it was. The rest of breakfast was the usual. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins etc. So the breakfast could use some work.

The property needs to be upgraded. The room was clean, but all furniture including the mattresses and the lamps are just worn out and need to be replaced. The front desk was courteous. The breakfast items were limited, so we went elsewhere to eat. Overall, it was a quiet place to get a shower and some sleep.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. My room had a brand new bathroom with all new fixtures. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Carpet looked almost new. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good breakfast with hot and cold items. Very friendly staff. The only downside was it's a bit remote without a car but I managed okay with Uber and Lyft. Very reasonable nightly rate. I would stay here again.

I expressed my concern about the room 404’s mattress. It was quite un-comfortable and had caused me to have a lower back ache. My hope is that they update the room and also include a usb or power connection on the desk area lamp.

Decent hotel in a nice area. A little pricey for the actual hotel. It was dated and could benefit from remodeling. You are definitely paying to stay in Brentwood, not the hotel. Breakfast was just ok beyond the waffles. The hot items ( sausage links, eggs, & potatoes) were microwaved. Decent at best. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you need a clean place in a nice area with moderate to less than accommodations, this is it.

As other reviewers mentioned, the beds are not comfortable... i thought it might be exaggerated but i could feel every spring and it it seriously worn down. Not comfy at all. And, the room was musty. even with the AC running all night, I woke up stuffy with frizzy hair (which is normally straight). hallways are hot and a little musty. Think it is overpriced for the current condition.

While the hotel was clean, which is what is most important, the beds were extremely firm. I understand this is a personal preference but, as someone with back problems, waking up in pain at 2am wasn't pleasant. Some toppers would be nice. Breakfast was decent, but somewhat cold the second morning. Overall, it was a good stay for the price point.

This might have been the most friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. Always greeted with a hi how are you and just seemed like a great environment. I felt very safe and the location is in a quiet area with free parking.

We have stayed here once before...a few years ago. I did not remember the hotel being in such bad shape. Everything was dirty, the carpets worn, paint literally off the walls in the room and the beds where in bad shape and need to be replaced. I will never stay here again. We come to Nashville often to see our daughter, but this was a big disappointment.

For most part this hotel was a great value and clean & comfortable for our stay. We even decided to extend our stay an extra night. The only complaints were the walls were thin and you could hear a lot of the talking & coughing from the next room & hallway.

The rooms were very well maintained. I do design work and I was enabled to adapt to an environment that was very cozy, and that's what I needed. Even though I had complications with my brand new computer LOL, that's neither here nor there. But I would like to say that this is one of the most pleasant experiences in hotel stay in my history! And I will have to say Lola the young lady at the front desk, is unsurpassed in caring and helping and doing her job, and actually going above and beyond her job title. Wonderful human being. And that's what we needed today's work environment is people like her, not only to lead but to exceed. Also Amir who is on the night staff was also very courteous helpful and very professional. And of all honesty it's one of the cleanest well-kept and pleasant environments that I have encountered in hotel stay

Expedia sold us trip insurance but said that didn’t matter it was up yo the hotel. We will never use Expedia again nor will we ever stay at a comfort inn again. The hotel was junky anyway

Old tired hotel. No coffee in morning. Coffee machine has been not working for weeks. No breakfast attendant. Sat in the dark to eat breakfast. Hallways had not been vacuumed. Bed was terrible. Bed springs broke.

This was our 4th stay here and it was the best one ever.

It was a good place to stay, staff were friendly and welcoming. We felt safe and good food options near by. The only thing is somehow ladybugs got into the room, not sure if a window was open during cleaning or not.

This was our 2nd visit in the past couple months. We have had medical appointments at Vanderbilt, and since we live 2-1/2 hours from Nashville and the traffic is horrible there, we decided to stay locally over night. Both our visits have been great and we have much less stressful traffic to deal with when we can stay over and be able to sleep a full night's sleep before we have our appointments. Hopefully we can stay again in the future for other appointments.

I would try another hotel in the area next time, as this is a beautiful upscale area of town. So in that, the hotel issues didn’t add up. The included breakfast was decent and tasted fine.

About an hour after we were in our room, we discovered that the carpet between the refrigerator and the wall by the sink was wet. Also, the wall along the corner and above the kickboard had black markings on it, looking like it could possibly be mold. I reported the situation to the young lady at the front desk and she immediately moved us to another room at the opposite far end of the hall, a room which had been recently renovated. We were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. With the move, we were comfortable about our safety as we have had health issues over the past few years regarding mold. Thank you!

I was skeptical about whether the double beds would be big enough for two people, but we don’t move around a lot, so it was fine, and more importantly, the beds were very comfy (firm mattress with a nice cushy topper, and good pillows). Even though bits and pieces show their age, the hotel is very clean; the beds were pristine and the bath/shower was honestly the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
