Club Wyndham National Harbor

Many activities for the kids. It’s a cute timeshare. We were in the 2nd floor and there was a floor shaking party until 11pm in the event space below. I never expected not to be able to rest when I got checked in.

My room was spotless, warm, and welcoming. The staff were all very sweet and informative and willing to help at any moment. The amenities were up to par and available during their scheduled hours but I will say I wish the indoor pool was warmer lol!

We loved the hot tub and enjoyed using it both nights of our stay. The elevator in the garage was not working, which was not the responsibility of the hotel; however, the hotel was unable to solve the problem other than indicate that service was aware.

The accommodations were so bad that we did not occupy the space. The owner met me there on the day of check in with a list of unrealistic rules, and fees. He lives in the house and stated that he checks in with guests three times for overnight stays and announced that he uses cameras.The space did not have an equipped kitchen, furniture was covered with dusty throws, and the place had an awful smell. I am not at all happy, as I was charged for the space that I did not utilize. This property needs to be reported and I will never use Expedia again.

Having to be “sold” on potentially attending a 90 minute seminar during vacation time before collecting room keys made for a poor client initial experience. Buyer beware.

The room and the resort were very clean. The staff were friendly. I wish that I had time to enjoy the pool. My family was site-seeing the entire time of our trip.

Location and the fact that there’s apartments available. Staff. they sit at the front like vultures watching your every move as you come in and out, trying to COERCE you into a tour. They need customer service training and not sales training cus them trying so hard, practically begging and guilt tripping me into a tour was a real turn off. Makes me not want to even consider a tour or buying because of that. The cleaning staff is super nice though

It was the most comfortable hotel room that I have ever stayed in. The bed was fantastic. I have never slept so well in a hotel. I enjoyed the convenience of the kitchen and relaxed on the balcony in the evenings.

Good setup for folks who need a full kitchen to prepare their own food.

Great location but beware of the timeshare hustle. All we wanted to do was check-in, but were prevented from doing so until after a lengthy conservation with sales. You’re basically forced to go to the sales counter for keys after check-in.

10/10 would come again, loved the room so much especially the bath, it was easy to use and enjoyable. The pool looked much bigger in the photos than in person and there were almost always kids so it was hard to enjoy that part. The staff was fantastic and super nice and helpful. I'm a socially anxious person since my sons birth and Daquan(not sure about spelling) immediately welcomed me and let me know what was about to happen. There was a white male with long hair who checked me in and he was cool too, very helpful/ chill.

The Wyndham Hotel was in an wonderful location, walkable to all attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Booked 2 bed, 2 bath condo via Expedia 4 months in advance. Upon arrival I was told they overbooked and we were getting a 1 bed, 1 bath condo. Hotel refuses to refund the difference in price of $180 and Expedia says they can’t do anything because it’s up to the hotel. Basically I got screwed out of $180. Do not stay here.

My boys have requested to stay here again.

Clean and beautiful hotel.

The actual building was amazing unfortunately due to all the events ongoing in the city they did deprioritize my reservations. Which made for a somewhat an annoying interaction but that has more to with Expedia than Wyndham .

The room was nice and clean. This is my go to hotel when I visit National harbor in the future.

Cancelling my reservation led than 24 hrs before check in was unacceptable

Didn’t like the house keeper knocking on my door at 9:15am on day of check out to clean my room, Also said she doesn’t speak English.

The place smelled heavy of weed the entire stay. Sleeping at night was impossible between the smells and the loud banging noises outside. They also robbed me of money because I couldn’t make their presentation which I cancelled prior to the day of it and the concierge said I would be refunded. Nope! Most awful place and experience I ever had at a hotel.

Check in was easy and my room was incredibly spacious. Very convenient to the conference area I was attending.

I was "relocated" at the last minute. A voicemail was left the day before; however, I didn't have the time to check VM before my trip. The claim that an email was sent was not accurate. I arrive exhausted to the hotel only to find out that I had to schlep my bags a few blocks away. I had reserved a one-bedroom and my relocated room was not only a two-bed hotel room at the Gaylord Conference Center. Very disappointing as I wanted to be away from the big conference and conference participants, which is why I booked at Club Wyndham in the first place. Not okay!

Then, when I got to the hotel, the pool, which I was planning to use for my kids was under construction. no compensation was suggested.

I wish Club Wynham could have accommodated by allowing me to switch days because I made a mistake on when Veteran's day...….because of this mistake, thinking the holiday was on a Monday and not Friday, I lost a whole day to fully enjoy the resort as I intended. Next time I should have planned better, but it would have been ideal of Wynham would have switched the days for me to enjoy a three day stay at the resort.

Reservation was cancelled the same day of the check-in. Rebooked into a one-bedroom that could not accommodate our needs

Rooms are quite old and outdated with a very bad smell.

This is a little hidden gem. It is a simple property, with a small lobby, amazing customer service and it is perfect for families or business travelers. If you are attending something at the Gaylord, this is a great option at great price. It is literally an extremely short walk, and you are there. Ther is a little cut through tunnel as you walk out of the Wyndham which takes you to the front of the Gaylord. The parking garage is directly across the street and is easy to get in and out. And it sounds expensive at $24.00 a day to park, but trust me, it is not. I was first put in a three bedroom, and the rooms are large, full kitchen, dining area, two bathrooms and very well appointed. The one bedroom was perfect, it looked newer in decor, with a kitchen, sitting area and bathroom. You get a lot at a great price. The area is expensive, but this is a property I would check out if you have any hesitations. It is very clean, and they go out of their way for great customer service. Everyone I interacted with was very kind. Great job Wyndham! I will be back.

Close to everything

The Club Wyndham is functional but not at all fancy. Housekeeping did not come at all during my three day stay. The decor is very dated . On the plus side, I was upgraded to a suite and the kitchen was a nice amenity.

The front desk staff were amazing. They were friendly and welcoming. The condo was very comfortable and came with a balcony, we enjoyed the fresh air. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the restaurants.

(However, there is a protruding table leg between the bathroom and the bedroom that is prone to bruises, the design is a little strange)

Do not attempt to stay at this establishment unless you want to gamble that they will not honor your reservation and then lie about who the responsible party is. I pulled up at 7:50 PM on a Saturday night and was told Expedia cancelled my reservation. That was an outright lie! I pulled up the reservation on my phone and showed them it was still valid. I was told the by receptionist "it was above her pay grade" and then I was escalated to the manager. The manager after reviewing our reservation again repeated Expedia cancelled it but had no proof and added even if our reservation was not cancelled there were no longer any rooms available at the hotel. Well there you go, the hotel overbooks, runs out of rooms, and then lies about why you cannot check in. I was given a number to call Expedia and spent the next few hours trying to find rooms while the kids are going crazy in the back of the car. I don't think this is an isolated incident. I was parked in the loading zone of the hotel for 2 hours and the porters told us they understood and to take all the time we needed. I would like to thank Expedia for making things right and rebooking us into another hotel even though it was no fault of their own.

Property is excellent. Outdoor Hot Tub is fantastic. Rooms are great. Well stocked and extremely comfortable. Best place I have stayed in years and I travel a lot!

Best resort. Very clean, nice staff. Very nice pools and kiddy pool. Nice and free laundry room. Very nice amenities for kids and adults. Very close to a lot of restaurants and the river. Great location. 2 bedroom very nice and spacious. No complaints.

Everything about this Hotel and the area was Excellent!

We had two rooms booked. Both rooms were confirmed via text from hotel one day prior to arrival. Upon arrival, our rooms were not available.

When we arrived there, they told us the booking is canceled and wanted us to relocate to a different hotel and we ended up to look for a near by hotel with help of Expedia staff.

Very spacious rooms with plenty of flexibility for families. Good options for making own meals. Nice pool and recreation area. The hotel is very close to dining and entertainment options of National Harbor.

I was close to everything. Food, shopping, Casino!!! The area in general was just amazing.

Room and stay was great. Front desk staff were very kind. Love the wrist band option—worked well for the kids. But heads up… there was not any restaurant or bar on site. Life guard was there but on his cell phone the whole time.

Location was great but this was not worth $500 night. I understand this area is expensive but again the facility does not offer amenities that warrant that cost.

The 2 bedroom suite was great and the staff was very friendly. Located in a clean, safe area close to Top Golf and outlets. The only aspect I didn't enjoy was the the pressure to attend a 90 minute presentation and purchase club Wyndham vacation points. (They no longer sell timeshares but have revised the program to a point-based system.)

Location was great. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable but definitely needs updating. Furniture upholstery was quite worn and kitchen appliances worn and in need of updating. 2nd bedroom could use a mirror.

I like the area, I like its accessibility to convention centers and to the waterfront. The hotel itself is not bad, could use a bit more cleanliness in the rooms but otherwise they are fine to stay at.

Great value for the type of accommodations and less expensive than the Gaylord. Lots of room in the 2 bedroom condo and worked well for coworker and I traveling.

Excellent property, very friendly staff and very good location. I have traveled to DC many times but stayed at this property for the first time. This resort will definitely be my choice of stay for all future travels to this location.

This is a great hotel for friends and family get togethers. Having everyone stay in one room is great for bonding. There is a great table to play games or eat at and there is a couch and high back chair in the living room. The pools and hot tub are wonderful. The area is great - everything is so close

Our stay was exceptional!

It was good for the day I stayed and it was very quiet in my room which was what I primarily needed it for! I was most impressed by how large and accommodating the room was. That sold me!... my bed was clean but there were a few small missed spots when they cleaned before I got there and I made sure to not touch them or put my items on them and they were not things I wanted to use anyway. (typically I do request them be cleaned and I will next time) I love the location. I had a great view. Would stay there again for peace and quiet. The staff was really laxed compared to hotels I stayed which I thought was a little odd but I was able to check in and out quickly. The staff were still pleasant so that was a good thing.

The base around the wall was dirty, the back of the dinning chairs was dirty, I had to clean with wipes. Pillars was too soft. A little disappointed no shuttle services. Other then those problems, we have a good stay. The mattress was wonderful, lots of space. Also, Anita and another young lady was so helpful at the guest desk. I would come back again because of their wonderful hospitality services. So sorry I forgot the other young lady name.

Room was nice, furniture was a bit outdated, the worst thing about it is the unreasonable 10am checkout, you check in at 4pm, but have to leave at 10am, far earlier than the other properties in the area which is a major inconvenience.

The first night something was wrong with the plumbing. A connector wasn’t connected so we heard all of the plumbing every time someone flushed. Hard time sleeping. Day 2 we were so tired, we slept through it.

I like that the service was great. However, i didnt like the fact that i was told if i attended the presentation I would receive a 7 day stay and i never received it. I called the hotel to inquire about it . They kept me on hold and then hung up on me. I tried calling back 3 different times and they just hung up on me each time. I felt like i was deceived by the resort. They did not follow through with what we agreed upon. I hope that the Resort will rectify this issue soon. I would hate for this to be the last memory i have of the Wyndham Resorts.
