I loved the cleanliness and how well located we were. I booked this vacation for my daughter who is turning seven. Due to the rainy and cold forecast I knew there wouldn’t be much outdoor activities for us to enjoy, but my daughter loves the pool so her heart was set on going to the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed with no prior warning to guest. Though this is a good location I would’ve picked a different hotel if I knew the pool wasn’t working. It really hurt my daughter’s feelings because she was so excited and pretty much set our vacation around her enjoying the pool. The pool looked in good condition so not sure what the issue was , but we were highly disappointed. Also, during my stay housekeeping never came to grab trash, bring extra towels or sheets. I also had a small plumbing issue and instead of maintenance fixing the issue they sent a man with a plunger in a plastic bag. I really couldn’t believe it .

I have no complaints- this place was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was decent- pretty much a standard free hotel breakfast. The fitness room was adequate- it was pretty small, but it had free weights and several nice cardio machines. The swimming pool was closed when I stayed here, unfortunately. The guy at the front desk when I checked in was not the most cordial hotel employee I've ever interacted with, but maybe other staff members are nicer.

I liked everything about it except: 1. there was no hand sanitizer in the food area. Guests just walked up (some in pajamas) & began lifting lids & helping themselves to the food. 2. The meat offerings were only pork. Having turkey or chicken sausage as an option would have been nice. see above.

I like the location at the National Harbor. I had planned my son’s birthday in the National Harbor and had planned it around this hotel because it had suites and a pool. Once we checked in, went to dinner and got back and changed into swimming clothes, that’s when we found out the pool is closed for several months for maintenance. So I spent $800 to stay here for the pool to find out 3 hours in that there was no pool. I would have picked any other place. I didn’t know when I booked it. Even check the pool hours. No one told me at check in. Very annoying. Then the staff was less than apologetic. Told me “well it’s on the website”. But was in when I booked it two months ago? Was it on Booking.com where I booked the rooms? I will know to check for next time, I guess.

The hotel was nice and convenient location
- 5/5
The pool was not open.
- 4/5
Breakfast was a good variety. And surprisingly decent. The coffee claim to be 24 hour was not. They left it in the non heated coffee container with a microwave on the side but you can't get the door open to the microwave no matter how hard you try. The room is clean very good they were great sizes very close to all the action. We walk most places and 18 min drive to the National lawn.
- 5/5
Nice room, great staff, nice spacious pool.
- 2/5
The hotel has different information in the website, they should let us know that the pool is not available, I chose the hotel because of the pool
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Very clean and nice people.
- 5/5
great room
- 4/5
Room was clean, pool was closed and not mentioned anywhere on the website and the breakfast was a tad lackluster in options and was not warm.
- 5/5
Nice and very clean hotel. The staff was very pleasant
- 5/5
All was well, no complaints. I would stay here again 😃.
- 5/5
Everything good
- 4/5
Close to PLRB 2026 convention and National Harbor. Provides free breakfast. Things that stood out: no parking on premises, paid $25 per day, toilet was not flushing well, limited amenities such as restaurant or gym. Overall, its not the best or the worst. For the price, I probably would have chosen a different hotel, Marriott, Westin or Gaylord which was impressive.
- 5/5
Everything was great. National Harbor has everything you could ever need/want.
- 5/5
Close to everything downtown, super friendly staff. Breakfast was good too.
- 4/5
Staff was helpful, room overlooked parking lot. Pool was closed so that was unfortunate because we picked the hotel because of it. Room was very basic, no dressers. Breakfast buffet was good
- 4/5
This hotel was nice. The chlorine smell from the pool was a bit overwhelming in the lobby. The provided shampoo was out in our shower. Overall a nice room and a cheaper option for the area. Conveniently located near the parking garage that I usually use.

Terrible experience with hotel. Could not cancel due to state of emergency in home state and state of hotel. Terrible customer service from the front desk. Could not even reach via phone.
- 5/5
The room was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 4/5
The room was bigger than I expected. Very spacious and cozy. The staff was prompt and attentive. I did not like that the pool was not open, because that’s why I went took my kids but we still enjoyed ourselves and our walk at the Harbor.
- 5/5
Room was clean, excellent. Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast choices offered was very good, area was clean and maintained, and appreciated!

Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was decent as well. Unfortunately, the pool was out of commission during most of our stay.
- 4/5
Boogie on the wall, swimming pool was closed both days
- 4/5
Room was clean and breakfast was good
- 4/5
My only complaint would be front desk not overly friendly almost like I was a bother. I only had two questions room keys and parking. Have not stayed at hotel the last two years but desk changed
- 4/5
The front desk staff, Ali, was very helpful and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Everything was good

Night staff was friendly and helpful. Morning staff was also friendly when you could get their attention away from their cell phone.
- 4/5
Very good stay!
- 5/5

Clean room staff wasnt very accommodating or knowledgeable when it came to a cot vs a crib so our 8 year had to sleep between us bc they couldnt give a room w 2 queens
- 5/5
Very Nice
- 5/5
Breakfast was delicious, hotel completely spotless, I will recommend 100% everything is by a walk in minutes.
- 5/5
Staff was good and location was great!
- 1/5
Rude staff at front desk, i asked this lady if they had parking she said in the back she failed to tell me its 25 a night and i needed to unload my luggage first then go park. Poor experience so far
- 5/5
It was great and we loved our visit
- 4/5
The staff are very nice.
- 2/5
Got into "my room" and there was a family there! Mortified would be a understatement. The associate fixed it by putting me in a different room but it definitely was an experience i could have done without
- 5/5
My family really enjoyed their stay and plan to return. We had the benefit of the Gaylord without the congestion.
- 4/5
It would be nice to have warm egg options without meat in them. Room was great temp and clean. First floor entry smelled like sulfur/ rotten eggs all day.
- 4/5
Hotel was in an ideal spot for restaurants and activities.
- 5/5
Room was very nice great view. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Convenient location! Staff was super nice and helpful!

Great staff clean room
- 5/5
Nice service, the room is great and new
- 1/5
Just stay overall horrible place to stay
- 2/5
Toilet and sink were broken, trash was never taken, towels nor toilet paper were replenished
- 1/5
The experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, the front desk staff were indifferent, and the breakfast was made with the cheapest ingredients. There will definitely be no returning guests.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and had a beautiful view of the Gaylord out the window. Loved the breakfast buffet and the indoor pool (open all year-round). You have to park at the St. George Parking Garage which is right behind the hotel. Loved that you need to have your hotel card to access all kinds of activities in the hotel (safe, secured, prevents random people coming in). Also had really good channels on the tv to watch and they provide the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and hand soap. My room also had a microwave and mini fridge. Perfect stay at the Hamptons and will stay there again!
- 5/5
It as a great option. The only minus was the eggs at breakfast. They tasted powdery.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, and clean room
- 2/5
Expedia was great. Hampton Inn not so much.
- 3/5
It was OK, with some concerns. They are doing construction in the hotel. It resulted in issues with the elevators. We also had power issues in our suite - can't say if this was related to the construction or not. The front desk was abandoned at times and once I found someone to talk to about my concerns the tone was a little "off".
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 4/5
For the price they are charging, it is just a very average quality hotel.
- 5/5
Hotel was great! Very clean, you could smell the cleanliness walking in. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast was perfect for on the go with plenty of options
- 1/5
Very unfriendly reception. I think his name was Sachi! very disappointed
- 5/5
Great location. Has everything you need
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk are friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The mattress is a bit too soft for me but that’s just a personal preference.
- 1/5
Just awful!
- 5/5
This the best Hampton Inn I have stayed in. We stayed on a floor that was newly renovated and you could smell the new carpet coming off the elevator. The room was very nice, the location was great. The hotel was not full which made breakfast very easy and clean. We will return, and this will be my choice hotel stay at national harbor.
- 5/5
If you want to save a few bucks, this is a great alternative to gaylord, right across the street.
- 4/5
Both my husband and ejoyed the walking distance to the vast restaurants. Unfortunately parking was an issue as my husband is handicap and the parking garage was acroas the street so that was an inconvenience.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 5/5
Great stay

I was surprised by how spacious the room was. Requests for room refresh were honored, and the complimentary hot breakfast buffet was great.

Area around the hotel and the hotel lobby were great. Room was freshly refurbished. Right across from the convention center was nice and easy to make it over there for our event.
- 5/5
Clean, great staff
- 1/5
With renovations taking place the elevators were full of boxes that completely took the entire space allowing for few guests to enter. The elevator definitely was overweight creating a safety and health hazard. The hotel was filthy. I would never stay there ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone
- 5/5
Clean, free breakfast, close to National Harbor, reasonably priced in comparison to Gaylord and MGM resorts nearby
- 5/5
nice area convenient
- 5/5
The front desk were very
- 4/5
The hotel is Beautiful BUT they were renovating rooms. Mattress boxes were in common areas of each floor as well as stacked boxes in the Lobby Common room. Empty hoxes and trash was outside on the deont side of the property. There had to be a better plan.
- 2/5
Hotel is under renovation with only one elevator functioning. The elevator was also being used by the construction workers causing significant delays going to or from your room.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating
- 2/5
This hotel is in the middle of a renovation and that was not notated. The room is big, but the bathroom is small. You can tell that they had done some rework over in the bathroom and it really wasn’t up to par. They only had one elevator working when I went into the room. The air filter hadn’t been emptied in months and you could see the dust from the filter coming through. He said it was $25 a night for parking and the parking deck was across the street but every time I kept trying to use the parking ticket that the parking system gave me it gave me it wasn’t charging anything but yet the hotel is charging $25 a night even though the parking deck across the street from it is free when I stayed at the hotel.
- 5/5
During my stay there was an issue with key cards. The staff was accommodating and resolved the issue quickly.
- 2/5
They stay was nice. I didn't get the room O paid for through Expedia
- 1/5
The property has issues with accessing the guest room. The front desk had to keep opening up the door everytime we would leave the room. The the plumbing system was broken. The toilet overflowed. The place was a mess I want my money refunded. I will never stay at that location again. The service is horrible.
- 4/5
Property was under renovation during my stay, but the A/C worked great in the room. Room itself was clean and cozy.
- 4/5
Mother daughter getaway
- 5/5
The privacy was nice, it was quiet and very clean!
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great if you are going to an event at Gaylord or looking to spend some time in National Harbor. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options that also rotated each day (eggs, at least one breakfast meat, waffle makers, other assorted breakfast foods). My only complaint was the state of the pool. I specifically booked a hotel with a pool which the hotel does have but it was very dirty with a very weird looking material floating along the bottom. We also noticed it didn’t seem chlorinated and was just overall unsanitary. Disappointing but the rest of the stay was great and comfortable so I can’t complain too much.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and open. Breakfast was nice and loved the indoor pool.
- 5/5
Nice stay worth it!
- 1/5
7:30 am pounding, drilling, banging, … on the wall adjacent to our headboard! 😠😠😠 I would have been still been mad if I was on the floor above or below, but to be NEXT DOOR!!! Absolutely unexceptionable! I would like a refund!
- 4/5
The front desk was very accommodating. Will stay again
- 5/5
It was comfortable and nice thank you
- 2/5
room was comfortable and the location was great. Had some issues with hotels. Stay with a dog barking before 6 AM. I went to tell staff about it and they said there was no dog in that room. Let them know. I had a recording of it issues the next day with the dog ended up moving rooms and eventually ended up, leaving hotel early even though it was prepaid very disappointed in staff's response.
- 1/5
The bed was like a rock. But what made this a horrible stay was the staff. In the middle of the night I was woken up by knocking at the door. Before I could get there to see who it was, the door unlocked and started to open. Thankfully I had the security latch set. Turns out it was a maintenance worker bringing pillows and sheets which we did not order. They were for another room. It was a total invasion of my privacy and traumatized my daughter who couldn't sleep the rest of the stay. The hotel apologized, admitted it was "incredibly unsettling" and offered me a $20 credit to somehow make up for it.
- 1/5
No good
- 5/5
Staffand facilities were excellent. Guests were very noisy at night. Some argueing in the hallway and slamming doors. It was a bit scary and I questioned whether security should be called on visitors creating a disturbance at night.
- 4/5
However, this time around I noticed the state of the hotel has dipped over the past three years. 1of 2 Elevators have been down the past two years I stayed there, and it always seems like the hotel is under noticeable maintenance. Room number signs lying in the hallway, mirror frames separating in the room.
- 5/5
Loved my stay here. Staff was amazing
- 4/5
Breakfast didn’t meet my expectations.
- 2/5
Only 1 elevator was working, ac was not working in lobby.
- 3/5
Bathrooms are dated with old shower doors and faucets. Bed was not comfortable woke you worst then when I arrived. Other then that the location was ideally close to everything within walking distance.
- 5/5
Great location and quiet.
- 5/5
Great stay for one night!
- 3/5
The property needs a little updating, but for the most part, everything was fine.
- 3/5
For 4 days during a conference one elevator worked. Also the water was off without warning. They gave notice of a time and then changed it, woke up yo no running water! Which was off until about 11:30am. The original notice said 11am to 3pm
- 5/5
A great place to stay
- 5/5
Right next door to the Gaylord which is where my conference was for a fraction of the price!
- 1/5
My card was charged $1400 for a $600 stay
- 4/5
Room was nice. It was quiet. National Harbor is a nice location. I didn’t like paying for parking.
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful and the property was lovely
- 5/5
Very nice Friday evening, all day Saturday, & Sunday morning stay. Thank you for your kindness!
- 5/5
everything good
- 3/5
The hallway reeked of fresh
- 3/5
Service was nice but the hallway on the 4th floor was in poor condition and the pool was smaller than it seemed. The breakfast provided was enjoyable.
- 3/5
Parking
- 5/5
This is one of my top 3 hotels to stay when I’m visiting National Harbor. Rooms are clean, spacious, beds are comfortable and there is mini kitchen in your room. The hotel offers complementary breakfast and has an indoor pool all for an affordable price!
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and it was quiet and comfy!
- 2/5
I was very disappointed with my recent stay. The bathroom in the lobby was filthy, which was extremely off-putting. The mirror in my room was in poor condition and clearly needs to be replaced. Additionally, there was a strong unpleasant odor when stepping onto the floor, suggesting that the carpet is old and may need to be changed. I’ve never had issues like this before, so this experience left me very dissatisfied.
- 4/5
You have to park in an associated parking garage and then get the ticket added on to your room in order to have same day in-and-out privileges. Right across the street from the Gaylord Convention Center and much more cost effective, but not quite as nice. The included breakfast is good but there is no other onsite dinning.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
There was a lot not started until Memorial Day
- 5/5
It is a regular hotel. No major services. Clean. They have a paid parking next to it.
- 3/5
I gave it an average rating. Just a basic room. The light on the desk is inadequate. The bed was not comfortable, so firm I woke up the first night and my shoulder was asleep. Also, thought it was overpriced but I understand it's because of the location. The two gentlemen at the front desk were very nice and professional. Enjoyed brief conversations with both.
- 5/5
Great stay every year to celebrate my cheerleaders and their 1st place championship at the National Harbor. The stay is awesome thank you for the Great customer service each year.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
Nice area. Great hotel staff. Lots to do in the area. Great place to stay.
- 3/5
Expensive 🙄
- 5/5
Despite the weather... enjoyed restaurants and walking around the Gaylord.
- 1/5
The hotel smelled horrible even in the hallways and it seeped into the room. There was no shampoo in the hotel shower (I took video of this). My rewards number was not entered and when I asked about it I got an attitude. The front desk guy was nasty. The hotel was a DYI renovations. The food was subpar esp for a Hampton Inn (the bananas were nasty).
- 5/5
There wasn’t a lot of traffic in/out of the property. Also, the amount of police presence made me feel even safer.
- 5/5
It was clean
- 3/5
The room was pretty standard for a Hampton In , although there was no fridge. I called the front desk and was told most rooms have them, but not all. Outside of my room, the sixth floor hallway smelled awful, like fish. I saw them attempting to clean the rug, but the smell never went away.
- 5/5
Waffles
- 5/5
Nice breakfast offered, very friendly staff
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Enjoyed the breakfast and pool and our room was fantastic. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the area and that the hotel is walking distance to everything at the harbor. Will be back!
- 4/5
Liked it overall, wished there was a shuttle to airport and improved healthy/gluten free options in breakfast
- 5/5
Thanks for your attention
- 2/5
One night, a woman clicked for several hours in the middle of the night, which woke me up. The bathroom door was so hard to open and close that they stated that they would only provide housekeeping every other day. It was an old building and smelled. The front desk was not friendly and was paternalistic, etc.
- 2/5
Internet was out for one day. Food and beverage prices in lobby were exorbitant.
- 5/5
It was very convenient to convention that I was attending at a reasonable rate, with clean rooms and very helpful & pleasant staff. Having breakfast included was also a nice add-on. Daytime front desk clerk is worth a mention. Name, I think, was Damien. Very accommodating & pleasant. I would definitely return.
- 3/5
Hotel is old and they are doing a DIY repair.
- 4/5
Parking was challenging. I checked in while my husband tried to get to the garage, where he was turned away... he had to come back to the lobby, get a room key from me, and then go back to park... in lots of traffic. Lobby was also under construction during our stay.
- 5/5
This location is minutes from DCWater where i had a meeting the next day. It's also convenient to the national mall.
- 2/5
The hotel staff are quite perturbed if you book through Expedia.
- 1/5
i didnt stay. upon my arrival, i was told i didnt have a reservation even though i made it like 9 months prior. i was told the hotel cancelled it back in june, i never got any notification of this and expedia didnt notify me either, so when i arrived, i had to scramble to find a room for me and my roommates for the convention.
- 3/5
It was okay nothing special.
- 5/5
clean convenient. Kind staff.
- 4/5
Overall good stay, but try have housekeeping come by when i leave out of the room.
- 5/5
Close to the Gaylord con center
- 3/5
The room was great and the location is awesome. However, the AC was super noisy making it very difficult to sleep. I was traveling for work with a colleague and he had similar problem. I asked the reception and it seemed that that noise is standard for all rooms
- 5/5
The Hotel was wonderful. The Views from the hotel were amazing.
- 3/5
Average rooms/service. There is no room service here. Breakfast was below average for standard continental. Could hear people in room next door simply talking (not yelling at all), too noisy. They were doing construction/remodeling down stairs. Also, elevators had “see certificate at front desk”….
- 4/5
Great staff
- 5/5
I enjoyed the shopping, the easy parking and convenience.
- 5/5
Great

Beds were extremely uncomfortable, the room was a little dirty, overnight desk worker was rude and not helpful at all, we asked for pillows for our pullout sofa bed (there were none in our room for it) and he told us that the hotel was “out of pillows” without even attempting to look for some, there a strong smell of someone smoking/vaping marijuana in either the hallway or their room. The only reasons why I gave 3 stars at all is because the young black guy working the late night shift was very helpful, kind and courteous, he showed that he actually cared about the guests unlike the guy who was working the front desk overnight, parking was easy, and the breakfast was decent.

The area was gorgeous and lots of things to do. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel didn't have their own parking deck. We had to use another parking deck across the street and then take the parking ticket back to our hotel to be scan so that it would be free parking. Well, I ended up with someone else's ticket and how that happened I don't know, maybe the ticket got stuck and I ended up with it and someone had gotten mind. I had to pay someone else's parking ticket and we hadn't been there 3 hours yet which was $20.00 for 3-6 hours and I don't see a refund for paying. That was the only screw up that bothered me. Other than that everything else was nice

Worst part of the stay was the fact that housekeeping knocked on our door at 0930 when we had the do not disturb sign on the door. It woke us up and we yelled that we did not need housekeeping. 10 minutes later they came back and started trying to come in the room! My husband had to get up and go to the door and tell them we did not need them, again. Check out wasn’t until 11am, so I’m not sure why it was necessary to do that.

The property for this area is okay compared to the MGM and the Gaylord. But if I am not celebrating anything or just in the area, it will do. The issue I have even as I am writing is I haven’t received a receipt from my stay that’s why I don’t give them a credit card. I give a cash app card. I can secure the room and cover parking.
