We really enjoyed our stay

I like the bag-hold option and got to check in a bit early this visit. I’ll definitely be back.
- 3/5
The location was great. It was clean. The rooms were smaller than advertised. The twin sofa bed was awful. It was not really a viable sleeping option. A simple mattress topper would probably make it better but all they offer is a blanket, pillow, and a sheet. The room was loud due to the ac and fan running constantly no matter what setting it was on.
- 1/5
After reporting the issue, a hotel employee acknowledged that staff were already aware of the odor problem and had not yet identified the source. Despite knowing about this ongoing issue, the hotel continued renting the room to guests. We were asked to wait while staff attempted to find us another room. After waiting an additional three hours, we were informed that no alternative accommodations were available, leaving us to find our own solution. Since our exposure to the room, we have experienced illness that we believe is related to the toxic conditions and overwhelming odor. What should have been a safe and comfortable stay instead became a serious health concern. To make matters worse, we were told that management had approved a full refund due to the circumstances. However, only a partial refund was ultimately issued, and the hotel refused to provide any written documentation regarding either the incident or the refund. The decision to rent a room with a known unresolved odor issue, the failure to provide alternate accommodations, and the failure to honor the promised refund demonstrate a troubling lack of accountability and concern for guest safety.

Staff is great, rooms are big with tons of space to spread out, but they're a little tired or worn out in places. Overall a great stay.
- 4/5
Pros: The location is great, the prices are competitive for the area, the staff is very friendly, the patio furniture was updated in the past few years, excellent AC/Heat, mostly clean rooms, and the hotel is quiet. Cons: The mini fridge has worked poorly since my first solo stay in 2023, some outlets have stopped working, comically small pillows, and the curtains are near impossible to open/close. All minor things. Overall, the staff made my stay very comfortable and I can’t wait for my next visit!

I would never come back again false advertising

People at front desk were very helpful and nice. Location was perfect and The room was clean and property was nice. However, we got a room with a “pull out couch” and one of us planned to sleep on it… this is NOT a viable sleeping arrangement!!! You can not sleep on this. It is worn out and the most uncomfortable spot to lay on!!! Please do not be fooled by an “extra” sleeping spot. Your back and legs and hips will be extremely angry !!
- 4/5
great price, perfect location. Staff was helpful
- 2/5
The refrigerator in our room was also problematic. The freezer compartment was completely frozen over, and the ice inside was dirty. We reported the issue, but it was never addressed during our stay. Another major issue was that there was only one small elevator serving a 17-floor hotel, resulting in frequent delays and inconvenience. The only ice machine was located on the roof. To access it, guests had to take the elevator to the top floor and then walk up another level into what appeared to be a maintenance area. The rooftop contained air-conditioning equipment, building materials, and other structures, making it seem unsafe and inappropriate for guest access. We were surprised that guests were expected to go there simply to get ice. My wife and I seriously considered leaving and finding another hotel, but because we had already paid for our stay, we decided to remain. This was our first experience using Hotels.com, and we expected the property to accurately reflect the listing. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet those expectations, and we left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.

It is strategically located in the heart of Manhattan. Nearby subways, grocery stores and tourist spots are on walking distance! Staffs are amazing and it has free water daily! The towels stinks and everyday mopping should be done.

We had an amazing stay at hotel 3232!
- 5/5
The location was perfect. We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids so the room was kind of cramped, but the amazing rooftop deck made it worth it. If it were just the 2 of us it would have been excellent size. The staff were so friendly. Sandra was a gem when it came to checking us in and there was a maintenance guy who we didn’t get his name, but he was so nice and made sure he set up the sofa bed to be extra comfy for my nephew. He would greet the boys with high fives and that made them feel special. Because of the staff we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Every front desk person I dealt with was friendly and helpful. They all went out of their way for me. The hotel was convenient to the subway. Great location.

location the rudeness and lack of any notion or understanding of customer service on the part of management of this establishment. I blame myself--I gave up on this place many years ago when at 1:30am they wouldn't honor my prepaid Booking reservation (with confirmation number)---that time I show up after midnight believing i had a room prepaid--they said it was in error, no such room available, but I could pay a price that was 2x my prepaid already and processed payment to get one of their available rooms--long story short they had rooms, didn't honor a confirmed reservation, wouldn't give me a vacant room despite contractually having paid and confired, sent me on the NY streets with no place to stay at 1:30am ---- BOOKING DIDN'T REFUND THE PREPAID MONEY, I CONTACTED THE HOTEL NO LESS THAN 25 TIMES AND NO ONE EVER GOT BACK TO ME AND THEY STILL OWE ME ABOUT 200 BUCKS. NEVER SAW IT. Like an idiot, in a pinch, it was an option. I stayed, fine night, whatever, every single room has a balcony but the 250 buck room I stayed in . . figures. I asked for a late checkout--that request was met with disdain and the most profound level of customer disrespect. They said in the worse grammar I had ever heard "how long you wanna stay". I suggested a time, they said that's $85 bucks. I said fine. Housekeeping burst into my room as I was in the bathroom 10 minutes prior to that set time I offensively paid 85 dollars for. After explaining it's 10 min early, can you leave my room and let me get dressed so I can leave on time, the fireworks started. Again, before the hour was up, a few minutes before official 85 dollar worth late checkout, there were knocks again on the door. Fast foirward six minutes after the hour, I receive a threatening menacing call from management that I will have to pay for another full day should I not leave at that moment.

Great value for the money with a big room and separate full kitchen and balcony. The hotel is centrally located in midtown within steps to just about anything you'll need (food, drug stores, 7Eleven, shopping, etc.). There are two premium restaurants on premise (sushi and a steak restaurant). A few bummers included no room service delivery, common areas in the tower outside the rooms / hallways that felt sketchy and poorly lit (I thought I was in the wrong place for a second when the elevator door opened on my floor), and only warm (no hot) water in the bathroom/shower. All tiny nits that can be tolerated for such a great price.

Clean room and great staff!

This stay felt smooth and comfortable from beginning to end. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the added amenities like the fitness center and complimentary coffee made the experience even better. I would definitely return for another NYC visit. The coffee station became busy in the morning, but it moved along quickly.

Went to NYC for 4 days and stayed here. Hotel was very affordable and the staff was as friendly as can be. Will stay here again next time.
- 1/5
The bed in itself was fairly comfortable though we slept on top of the blankets. I hope this hotel continues to thrive. But it will require a significant amount of work.
- 2/5
This is no where near standard. Bad stuff with attitudes. Made a complaint about them using a dirty bedsheet and they never came to fix it. I couldn’t take a shower in the hotel because it just doesn’t feel ok
- 5/5
Nice room, very reasonable price for the location and balcony. Balcony view wasn’t anything to brag about but still super nice having a balcony on a room less that $400.

I love staring at Hotel Park Ave. clean, modern rooms with tasty food. Subway access to museums made the trip easy.

The staff was the standout part of the experience. They really looked out for me and helped me feel right at home. Location is great. I think it's technically in Korea town so there's lots of tasty food options in the vicinity.

was able to check in right away. room was small but comfortable. clean. staff was friendly. bottled drinking water was free. great location for a concert at MSG. one night stay.

Toilet bowl was dirty. Water was turned off for 5 hours on our second day, air conditioner was old and not working properly. The staff was very helpful, but owners should invest in it, ideal location to stay in NYC.
- 4/5
Spacious room, great location for the price.
- 2/5
I didn’t have water pressure in my first room and then my second room I didn’t have any hot water . In my first room , it was clothes from previous guest in there . Toliey was not cleaned properly . Second room the towels had stains on them but the maintenance man with the dreads was helpful
- 1/5
The bed had stains all over it, we had no hot water for an entire day and another day of no water at all, the balcony door was broken so we couldn’t even access it

This stay was smooth and dependable. The staff stayed welcoming throughout, and the complimentary breakfast added a nice touch each morning. Combined with the convenient location, it made for a very enjoyable NYC visit. The gym felt slightly compact during peak hours.

Bad
- 3/5
Not a bad place for the price but a bit micro hotels. Won’t want to spend time there but you’re in NYC so you shouldn’t be anyway. However, confusing shower adjustments, no hot water and a black out curtain that did close all the way so the lights from across the courtyard blared all night.
- 5/5
We had a fantastic stay. Nice room, clean, comfortable and lovely staff.
- 4/5
This was perfect for us. Others might not be excited about the somewhat tattered furniture, and not-so-attentive housekeeping. But the front desk help were attentive if not actually "friendly." The room was fine. If I were traveling alone as a woman, I would not be excited about the lack of security (anyone at all can go up the elevator).

Good location, nice staff. Beds comfortable. The room could do with an update, but it was nice to have a kitchenette. Bathroom clean.

Disappointing
- 1/5
The hotel room was disgusting. It didn’t look like it was cleaned. There was makeup on the bed and hair EVERYWHERE. However the sticky substance on the table was the final straw for my boyfriend. We had noticed as we were walking in our room someone cleaning a room next door and we politely asked them if they could take care of this stain. Something you’d assume would be no problem and could be done very swiftly. However we were informed that room service stopped at 4 pm. Questionable. We called shortly after to see if it was possible to get another room because we did not feel comfortable in sleeping in such conditions. When we called the front desk we were shocked to hear the attitude on the other line as the front desk worker snarked “what” at us. As if we had rudely disrupted whatever he had going on. Over all it was an awful experience. I would never go back. Save your money.

I would stay here every time I go to NY, theyre like family.
- 1/5

From the moment I arrived to checkout every step was seamless. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for a NYC stay, just a short walk from Central Park and Fifth Avenue. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. The hotel amenities, including the gym and complimentary breakfast, made my visit extra pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast area became busy for a short period in the morning, but seating opened up quickly.

I wish I had a glowing review like the ones I had read when I was deciding to book this hotel. The “balcony with a city view” was a complete and utter hoax. The “balcony” was at best a 3ftx3ft platform that you could maybe stand and smoke a cigarette on. The so-called “city view” was literally just brick walls of buildings that the hotel backed up against and could see into other building’s windows. Maybe other “balconies with city views” actually see the street or more of the skyline higher up. But room 313 on the 3rd floor is a joke. I would never stay here again. Staff were nice when checking in & out.
- 2/5
The condition of the hotel further reinforced this. The elevator smelled strongly of smoke, and when I arrived on my floor, the lights were off, which felt unsafe—especially as a solo traveler. Unfortunately, the room itself was also not well maintained. There was hair on the bed, the bathroom was not particularly clean, and the A/C unit was very loud and difficult to operate. The furniture felt dated, and overall the space did not reflect the quality that was advertised. Overall, it seems the hotel has focused more on surface-level cosmetic updates rather than maintaining cleanliness and functionality. I would not choose to stay here again.

The reception staff, pleasant and helpful Rooms cleaned daily and towed replenished. Water available daily, though you had to ask for it. The Patea Lab. Overpriced, extremely limited drinks menu, we were told we would have to pay a surcharge as there was 5 of us. Would have liked a normal bar where you can meet in and have a drink before going out and have a nightcap later.

A very mediocre experience. The room was large and had a kitchen. It seemed fairly clean but not quite as clean as one would like. No soap to wash dishes. There were loud noises late at night in the hallway as well as various street noises all night long. The staff was friendly and did their best to be accommodating. I asked to change rooms, but they couldn’t.

I travelled with my 8 year old son to NYC for 4 nights. The hotel is located close to many attractions. The rooms are decent sizes with kitchen options.

The shower and amenities are always going to be remembered . The best shower ever! The King size bed was so so comfortable, however, the small twin bed was a horrible rest peace. I will recommend this experience to anyone who asks about New York City. Food shopping, parking , restaurants, souvenirs, pharmaceuticals stories, etc. A total walk score!

This was not my first stay, and it confirmed why I came back. The consistency in cleanliness and service really stands out. I asked if we could please change rooms, but they told me there were no other rooms available and that the only option was to give us an air mattress. While we were downstairs, they said maintenance would come to help us. A maintenance worker came upstairs with some blankets and said he would assist us, but after waiting for more than an hour, no one returned. Later, the maintenance worker was gone, the receptionist was gone, and the manager was also not available. Another staff member, a white man with a beard and no hair, spoke to me in a very aggressive and disrespectful way. He told me I had to sleep like that and that the only thing I could do was speak with the manager in the morning. He also said he was not responsible and could not solve anything. It was almost 1:00 a.m., and no one helped us. I felt very uncomfortable and unsupported. I even crossed the street to another hotel to ask for help. A tall staff member there also came to the room, looked at the mattress, and said it was not in bad condition, even though I have photos and videos showing the situation. He was also very aggressive. We were four women in the room, and I had to ask him to leave because of how rude he was

Perfect stay from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. My room had an amazing view, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Great value for Manhattan!

What a gem! I loved the stylish decor and cozy atmosphere. It felt like a boutique experience without the high price. The staff gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants, which made my trip even better. Everything was clean and well-maintained.

I travel a lot for work, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Fast Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, and a well-designed room that made it easy to relax after a long day. The rooftop views were a highlight. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The location couldn’t be better—everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly quiet for NYC. The staff made check-in effortless and were always friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the city.

The room was great and the staff were excellent
- 2/5
Good location, quiet room Our room was not nearly as nice as the pics show - we faced inward to other buildings and our view was exhaust ducts and pigeons - it was quiet though which was nice. no cocktail bar like is shown on the website (apparently been closed for a few years?) - staff in t-shirts, blaring tv shows in the lobby. We visit NYC often and won’t stay here again
- 4.5/5
A well rounded stay with strong amenities. Everything felt comfortable and easy, and the overall value was solid. It worked well for a short Midtown visit. The pool seating was limited during busier times, but it was quieter earlier in the day.

This was a very comfortable short stay. The cleanliness stood out right away, and the convenient location made getting around simple. The added amenities like the fitness center and complimentary coffee made the experience even better. I would gladly recommend it. The coffee station ran out briefly in the morning, but it was quickly refilled.
- 2.5/5
We were initially assigned a room in the secondary building, facing what seemed to be the backside of the property. Unfortunately, the view and overall condition were extremely disappointing, there were visible bird droppings, and the room had a dark, almost dungeon-like atmosphere. The experience was further impacted by the reception staff member, who came across as quite rude and unhelpful. Additionally, the corridor leading to the rooms was unusually narrow, creating a very claustrophobic feeling. It would likely be uncomfortable for anyone with a larger build to navigate through that space. The room itself was also not up to standard, with visible dirt and stains on the walls, making it feel quite unpleasant. Thankfully, after raising our concerns, we were offered a different room in the main building. While it appeared to be a downgrade from what we had originally booked, it was significantly better in terms of cleanliness and overall comfort. The new room faced the street, had plenty of natural light, and felt much more serene and welcoming. The hotel should absolutely disclose which building the room is located in at the time of booking. We were not informed that there are two separate buildings across the street, and the difference between them is truly like day and night. The building on the left side felt dark, poorly maintained, and quite unpleasant overall. As a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe or comfortable in that environment. In contrast, the main building on the right side was significantly better, bright, clean, and much more welcoming. Additionally, the experience with staff differed noticeably between the two. The team at the main reception in the primary building was far more helpful, courteous, and professional, which made a meaningful difference in our stay.

The bathroom was dirty and we weren’t able to adjust the temperature and so we had to leave at 1am because it was unbearably hot. I would not recommend this hotel and will be seeking a refund.

Where do I begin? The safe in the room didn't work, front desk sent maintenance, couldn't figure it out so they said they'll be back the morning after. The safe was never fixed. I ran out of toiletries (body lotion, soap...) and house keeping did not refill for a couple days... but I got extra towels even though I was staying alone. Make it make sense. Lastly, the AC did not work, only blew warm air. How did I find out? Good question. The room felt stuffy most of the time, so I'd open a window for most of the day. Last night of the stay, there was heavy machinery working outside the building, construction of some sorts...until 8am!!!! It made it impossible to sleep with the window open so I closed it, and boom, sauna inside the room... has to sleep with the window open, and I am being generous with using the word sleep since I barely slept anything on that last night. Overall, good location, but that is it.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly but you can hotel needs work and upgrades. It was budget friendly and good location but not good if you plan to stay in the hotel majority of the day.
- 1/5
The place was filthy, the maids do not know how to clean the room. It was never swept and the same dirt remain there for four days. There was hair on the mattress, mattresses, sheets, and pillowcases, and after we requested a new ones. ( which we had to retrieve ourselves and replace ourselves.) still was covered with hair and filth.. asked for the manager several times to contact us and they didn’t even bother doing that. To talk our day off, the elevator stopped working and we had to take our own luggage down from the 12th floor even after asking for help from the staff, they ignored us.. save yourself from a vacation and do not stay here!!!
- 3/5
Great location. The room however felt dirty with all the marks on the walls.
- 5/5
A very comfortable and well located stay. The staff were friendly, and the amenities such as breakfast and the fitness center made the experience feel complete. It worked well as a base for exploring the city. The fitness center had limited equipment during peak hours, but it was still usable.
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff every time I stay here. BJ at front desk was a delight.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Very clean room and nice staff. Will definitely be back.
- 4/5
Had to ask what was complimentary in the room. I suspected just the two bottles of water and tea and coffee and I was correct. As one had paid a facilities fee of $30 I thought it could include more...
- 4.5/5
This stay stood out for its attention to cleanliness. Every corner felt carefully maintained, and the overall atmosphere was fresh and welcoming. The staff clearly pay attention to detail, which made the experience feel comfortable and reassuring. The mirror lighting was a bit soft for detailed grooming,
- 5/5
I arrived unsure but left genuinely impressed. The cleanliness stood out immediately, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. The central location made exploring effortless, and the overall comfort made it hard to leave. This stay turned into one of my best in months. The mini bar selection was a bit limited for my taste, though it covered the basics.
- 5/5
Great location and spacious for a NYC hotel room!
- 5/5
The staff
- 5/5
I was in noth tower, it was beautifull.
- 4/5
Hallways not clean. Staff nice/sort-of. Hotel room floors not very clean. Deco sad. My room very quiet. Would have been nice if shades and had curtains. If open curtains, NO PRIVACY.
- 4.5/5
A well rounded stay with strong amenities. The staff were attentive, and the location made getting around very convenient. The added touches like breakfast made it feel like good value overall. The television interface was a bit slow at first, but it worked fine.
- 5/5
Great customer service nearby shops within walking distance
- 1/5
In addition, the overall condition of the hotel was below expectations. The room was not clean, the shower head was broken, the heat was not functioning properly, and the roof deck did not meet the standard suggested by its description. Based on our experience, we would not recommend staying at this property
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable and I liked that the bathroom was not off the sleeping area. Fast elevator
- 1/5
My hotel was disgusting dishes in the sink wrappers around the hotel
- 3/5
Honestly the staff was very nice and helpful, and the hotel is in a great area, so much stuff to do within a 10 minute walk. However the only issue we had was with cleanliness. When we got there the towels looks stained and so did the comforter and sheets they also had random crusty stains, they didn’t smell but it just weird stains… it just threw us off. We asked for more towels and even the new ones were stained. But otherwise good experience I give it a 8/10.
- 4/5
Large room for NY. Good shower.
- 1/5
I was trying to discuss whether my non‑refundable booking could be amended or delayed, not cancelled outright. Had the hotel responded, this may have been resolved, but the complete lack of communication meant I had no option and ultimately lost the full cost of my stay. The frustration wasn’t the non‑refundable policy itself, but the hotel’s refusal to engage at all.
- 4/5
Room was clean, facing back area with no view. Only complaint was lack of grab bar in shower — nothing to hold on to if you wobbled.
- 3/5
Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. It is fine if you get a good price to rest your head but lacks and real comfort or quality.
- 2/5
Speaking of the rooms; they were shabby at best. The dead bolts didn’t work, there was no security bolt on one of the doors, the handles were hanging off of the windows because they were missing screws, and the climate control unit would only blow hot air no matter what it was set to. The glass surfaces in the bathroom were covered in mysterious grime, the sink was hopelessly clogged, and the floors were filthy. There were also no peepholes in the doors to see out of. Overall a very disappointing experience especially considering the price charged for the rooms.
- 5/5
From arrival to checkout, the experience felt smooth and well managed. The staff were friendly, and getting around Midtown was simple thanks to the central location. It made the whole stay feel effortless and enjoyable. The surrounding streets were a bit active at times, but it added to the city energy.
- 2/5
While in a convenient location... the A/C in the room was not great. It pulled in air from outside which was between building and some awful exhaust stench that caused me to have to turn off the A/C. It was coming from what seemed to be an incinerator but smelled like a garbage truck exhaust.
- 2/5
Very basic hotel. Price is high for what you get. Additional costs per night as well
- 5/5
Perfect stay from start to finish! The room was modern and well-equipped, and the staff was always ready to help. The location made it easy to get around the city. Would absolutely come back!
- 5/5
Amazing experience! The hotel is in a prime location near restaurants, shops, and subway lines. The room had everything we needed and felt very cozy. Highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC.
- 5/5
A hidden gem in New York City! The room was beautifully designed and very clean. Check-in was smooth, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. Excellent value for the location.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this hotel! Great location, stylish rooms, and super comfortable beds. The balcony was a nice bonus with a great city view. Perfect spot for exploring Manhattan!
- 5/5
Fantastic stay in the heart of NYC! The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet enough to relax. The room was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for New York. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Room was moderately clean; walls had visible dirt. Linens and bathroom were well maintained to the naked eye.
- 5/5
Cleanliness was the highlight of this stay. Everything felt carefully maintained, from the spotless room to the polished common areas. It created a calm and comfortable environment that made the visit very enjoyable. I would happily return. The room layout felt a bit compact, but it was well organized.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice & the rooms were clean !
- 5/5
Plenty of shops and everything else in walking distance. Professional staff .
- 5/5
The gentleman and lady that checked me in and checked me out were absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating couldn’t have asked for a better day.
- 4/5
Area is in a good location. Lots of places to visit in Korea town and Times Square is a short distance away. There are two towers across the street from one another. I stayed in the North Tower which wasn’t a bad place but a little different from the pictures. Staff was accommodating. Bathroom was pretty clean besides having to replace some dirty towels. Balcony smaller than expected but good if your single or sharing w one other person.
- 4/5
It’s good
- 1/5
dont stay there
- 5/5
Clean room nice view definitely gonna be returning
- 5/5
From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The location is unbeatable and the subway is right nearby. Clean, stylish, and comfortable — exactly what we were looking for.
- 5/5
I loved the modern design of the hotel. The room had a sleek, updated feel and was very comfortable. Being so close to great restaurants and attractions made the trip even better.
- 5/5
Hotel 32 32 was the perfect choice for my business trip. The WiFi was fast, the room had plenty of space to work, and everything was clean and well maintained. Excellent stay.
- 5/5
Great experience from start to finish. The location made it easy to explore NYC on foot. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with recommendations. I’ll definitely return.
- 5/5
I stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless. It felt modern and cozy at the same time. Five stars all the way!
- 5/5
Perfect boutique hotel in the heart of the city. I loved how close it was to everything, yet the room was quiet and relaxing at night. The balcony was such a nice bonus. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was welcoming and professional, and check-in was smooth and quick. The room was stylish and very comfortable. Great value for Manhattan!
- 5/5
I had a fantastic stay at Hotel 32 32! The location is perfect — walking distance to so many attractions and subway lines. My room was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for NYC. I would absolutely stay here again.
- 1/5
It was a blizzard and a statewide travel ban the night I had my booking and was unable to safely get there. Hotel has refused to refund me and all attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful.
- 2/5
Walls are thin so you can hear neighbors. Room smelled like smoke. Garbage compactor woke me up at 2 am with loud banging noises outside
- 4/5
It was definitely a cute little room. I got a room with a balcony, but there was an issue trying to unlock and lock the door. That was my only problem. The guys at the front desk were awesome.
- 5/5
La habitación y el personal, excelentes
- 5/5
Elin at the front desk was especially polite and friendly. the room was clean, and the climate control worked perfectly. We liked the web based TV, as opposed to cable. Bedding and pillows were comfortable, and many amenities were available. We were very pleased with the kitchen area, pots and pans and dishes were provided. A great stay.
- 5/5
Quiet rooms. Well decorated, clean, comfortable bed. Excellent location
- 3/5
In general the room was adequate however, the hotel is due for a lick of paint and we noticed that whatever the people in the room over from us was doing we could hear and smell.Overall I think for the price and location of the hotel was very nice.would recommend.
- 2/5
This hotel was a lot more run down than we expected. The staff was very accommodating and switched our room for us, although it wasn’t much better of a room. There was mold in the bathroom and dust everywhere.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and roomy.
- 3/5
Nice enough place. Staff was friendly. Wood flooring and the flooring was not clean.
- 1/5
The HVAC didn’t work and was blasting hot air into the room even while switched off. With the air conditioning on and room temp set to 60 degrees, we watched the actual temp climb up to 82 degrees, while blowing hot air. Maintenance came in twice and cracked the window and left. They said “it was off” and made no attempt to fix. The room was filthy; the floor was dirty and bed, linens, and walls have multiple large stains. There were issues with the toilet flushing and filling. There was a strong chemical cleaner odor from whatever they use to “clean” or what they use on the sheets and towels. All of our stuff smells just like it and gave us sore throats and coughing fits from whatever that was. The TV was crooked, falling off the wall. Pots and pans were dirty, scratched, stained with food and the cooking utensils drawer had garbage in it! It was a “non-smoking” room so people were smoking in the hall. We talked to front desk - they said it’s okay to smoke on balconies and sometimes the smell goes into the rooms. This was so horrible, we checked out early, not taking our full stay!
- 5/5
Great staff, room was nice with a very comfy bed
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was but fine and typical of NYC hotels. Clean, comfy bed, reasonably firm as opposed to those awful, squishy pillow top in so many hotels. Had 3 of the best night’s sleep in a while. My room was a little warm so I had to continually run the a/c in February or prop open the balcony door but that’s just my comfort level. Having the tiny balcony was what sold me on it so I could smoke without going downstairs and outside. I’ll definitely stay here again! Thank you to the staff especially David.
- 1/5
The window of my room could not be shut properly, so not only it was drafty in the winter, but also I could hear every pin drop that comes out of the street. The first night I got in, the heat did not work. So combined with the windows not being shut and no heat, it was a horrible night with the room being so cold. That's not all: the toilet did not flush property either. I asked to change rooms and was flat-out refused, so I endured three nights. Fortunately, they fixed the heat on the second day, although the window still could not be shut and the toilet still did not flush right.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, staff ver friendly
- 5/5
Room was very clean and comfortable - great value for the money
- 5/5
It was just easy to be here. Room fine, staff great, fun speakeasy experience. Just what we needed. Thanks.
- 5/5
the room was clean and smelled nice. There was enough room for both my friend and i. the staff were super nice and even let us check in early!
- 5/5
Very comfortable
- 2/5
First, I want to emphasize that the staff was wonderful and if this review were only based on the staff it would be 5 Stars. Unfortunately, it is extremely obvious that there is zero maintenance on this hotel. The drapes were not functional and left an 18 inch gap when trying to close them because they are torn off the track. The toilet seat is held on by one bolt only and as a result slides around. The toilet is so close to the wall that you can barely get your hand to the handle to flush and then it sticks and the toilet runs. The heater dis not function properly and made loud clicking noises all might. The coffee make was broken and there was no cover on the water reservoir. And finally, the morning we got up to check out, there was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling from a vent over the toilet. It was apparent that there has been previous leaks and a feable attempt to repair it was made by covering it with tape. This Room 611 is an actual hazard. Buyer beware. And to tge staff, we appreciate your kindness.
- 2/5
A bit grim overall. Felt cheap which would have been fine if it had been cheaper.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff is friendly and informative. Overall hospitality and services were great. No complaints.
- 5/5
Very nice staff, amenities coffee, tea and water. Great location specious rooms.
- 4/5
Room was serviceable and staff was kind

Room was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Love the price & location of this hotel.
- 5/5
Nice clean room, staff very nice and great location
- 4/5
It’s nice and clean place
- 4/5
Room was clean just needs a little TLC...
- 4/5
Courteous staff.
- 4/5
The room we stayed in was a good size for my two kids and me. But the single sofabed wasn't good. Quiet and clean, the staff were very helpful. good location for great Korean food and walking distance to everywhere
- 1/5
Hotel is located in Korean town, lots of Korean restaurants to eat. The AC will not working in the room. We called them to come up and repair the unit front just said they were gonna send somebody up and nobody came. The first night was not good. The hotel is very dirty. The rooms are OK.
- 2/5
Thank god I didn’t want to have a “staycation” because the tv didn’t work for the 3 days I booked for the room. It wasn’t just our tv in our room, a neighbor said the exact same thing we were experiencing on the elevator. There is no thermostat so you can not control the climate of your room. I don’t believe there is information that there are 2 buildings to this hotel. The shower heads looked disgustingly dirty. They need to be soaked or replaced. The shower heads also dripped all night so hopefully you’re not a light sleeper. I was just grateful that the bedding was clean and elevator wasn’t slow.
- 4/5
Hotel was okay for the price. It was a good location and as two twenty something girls, we felt safe. Close walk to the subway and other areas. The room, specifically the bedding, could have been a lot cleaner. There were a couple questionable stains, but the beds were comfortable. The curtains were coming down and ripped in some places so we weren’t able to close them the entire way. Made changing clothes uncomfortable. The staff were great!! Very nice to us and let us hangout in the lobby for quite a while. All in all, a fine place to stay for the price and location, just could a couple updates perhaps :)
- 5/5
The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful which was greatly appreciated. I'll be back this time next year if there are rooms available.
- 5/5
You really appreciated the kitchens that are available within the rooms. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!
- 2/5
Unfortunately not the cleanest place
- 3/5
Good for the price
- 4/5
Room was ready upon arrival. Room was clean and warm upon entry.
- 3/5
The room was very “worn down”. The tub had a lot of slimy mold on the grout in the tub.
- 3/5
Staff was extremely nice and check-in was very easy. Room was reasonably clean - not spotless but good enough. The noise, however, was absolutely unbearable and made it impossible to sleep. There was extremely loud grinding and banging construction noises coming from in the building all night long until around 3am.
- 5/5
Clean room, location and view of the Empire State building. The only thing I didn’t like was renting a room with a kitchen for almost $900 and being told by staff that I had to provide my own dishwasher soap & sponges. They cost $1.25 at Dollar Tree and should be standard in every room that has a stove and sink.
- 2/5
WiFi was horrible -- I had to leave the hotel to get work done. There was lack of air circulation in the room -- no AC or fan. Bathroom door was halfway jammed -- locking/unlocking it would wake up my partner. Toilet paper was so thin -- wouldn't cleanly tear away. Finally, shower head was wonky and wouldn't stay in place -- this also caused a mess when the water would escape from the shower door opening.
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
.
- 2/5
The staff was nice but the room was very dirty. There was food on the floor by the bed and crumbs around the bed frame.
- 5/5
Was staying in the 3232 Hotel across the road and didnt go to the bar.
- 4/5
Very good room good price
- 5/5
This hotel is a great option for travelers visiting NYC. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable after long days of sightseeing. The bed was extremely comfortable and the water pressure was ok, excellent toiletries too! A must experience!
- 5/5
We stayed for a week and everything was great! The location in Manhattan is unbeatable, making it easy to walk or take the subway anywhere. The room was quiet and clean, and customer service was fast and professional. Cant wait to return!
- 5/5
We had a great stay at Hotel 32 32. The location is absolutely perfect, close to subway stations, restaurants, and many major attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay in a great Manhattan location. Everything was clean and organized, and customer service was fast and professional.
- 5/5
Excellent location near Koreatown and public transportation. We really enjoyed our stay. When we requested extra pillows, they were brought to our room very quickly. Thank you for the amazing service!
- 5/5
Great stay at Hotel 32 32. The location is perfect—close to everything and easy to get around Manhattan. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
An absolutely outstanding experience. The service was flawless, the room was spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Location was great! close to the subway !
- 5/5
Amazing experience from start to finish. We requested extra towels and they were delivered to our room within minutes. Excellent service and very comfortable rooms.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Great facility. Room was perfect.
- 5/5
Great Place
- 5/5
Room was very clean, and everyone that we dealt with that worked at the front desk was great. Very helpful and respectful.. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Only there for one night. Very nice people nice location room small but I expected it . Bathroom clean . Balcony and fridge extra perks. I would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
The room is dirty, the window frames leak, and the room temperature is not stable. There is only an air-conditioning system available for heating; it is very old and too noisy, making it difficult to sleep, but you need it. The room is supposed to be for three people, but the third bed is awful. On the second day, they provided an inflatable bed, which is better, but it makes the room feel like a camping area.
- 1/5
Everywhere was very dirty. The price was too expensive. The room was not comfortable
- 1/5
The room was hot, the ac didn’t work, the bathrooms were not clean. The elevator kept us up all night because it sounded like it was slamming into the walls every time it was used.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
I got the 2BR. The “main room” wasn’t awful. But the second bedroom looked like kids have been living in it. The walls were dirty and scratched. There are no bedside tables or lamps. Only overhead lights. The walls were 3 different colors and not designed that way. Sheets were dirty. Asked the front desk to send up new ones and it never happened. Do not recommend this place and I am NOT picky when it comes to hotels.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
We had a great stay!!! Great safe location! And not a crowded area!
- 5/5
Clean and cool !
- 1/5
The rooms are absolutely filthy. Dired organic matter on multiple walls and doors. Appeared to a combination of dried vomit and food. Similar condidtions in hallway to rooms. Hotel staff couldnt care less. Single elevator thay was broken for 2 days. Entire floor stunk like week smoke. Do not consider staying here.
- 5/5
Great room!
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed. Nice size room for NYC. Close to all. Enjoyed very much
- 1/5
The room was poorly maintained. The shower is not had one door. The area was very noisy. Elevator kept on breaking down so had to take the stairwell. Etc etc
- 3/5
Typical New York Hotel. Wasn't bad.
- 5/5
The room was spotless… small but very accommodating ❤️
- 5/5
Balcony was a nice touch
- 4/5
Room size for NYC. Helpful staff. Great location. Great price
- 5/5
Staff was really nice and proffesional.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 3/5
Upon check in, I noticed scuff marks on entry way wall. As the stay progressed I noticed marks on several walls, the bathroom had mold in several areas, paint peeling from the bottom door- water/steam damage. The beds were okay & housekeeping made up the room daily. I would not stay here again or recommend this to anyone. Too many options. Area was safe & some Korean restaurants close by.
- 5/5
Rooms were a little older, but everything was good. Cozy rooms and great view from balcony and it snowed heavy while we were there. Beautiful!
- 5/5
Great location, room wasn't awful but needed alil tlc
- 3/5
You get what you get. Price wise I didn’t expect much else. Walls were filthy with stains and peeling paint. The water in the shower did not drain, which was inconvenient but only stayed for a night so didn’t press the issue. Location was okay, so for the price it was an ok option. Would not stay for more than a night.
- 2/5
Elevator was broken for the entire stay
- 4/5
Good location. Bar is cool . Staff was friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Very helpful staff.
- 4/5
Bathroom toilet lid was broken so you couldn’t close the lid and it’s was rusty and dirty.
- 3/5
Walls could be painted all the marks on them makes it look dingy and normal size pillows would help guest sleep better than couch pillows.
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 4/5
The room was clean & spacious. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated that our bags were held for several hours between check out & our flight.
- 4/5
Excellent location, great amenities near by, excellent cafe across the street! Excellent staff!!! Above & beyond!
- 4/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff. Would have to have had a lobby.
- 5/5
El personal super amable. La limpieza a mejorar
- 3/5
And had great food recommendations.
- 5/5
The lobby is too dark at night it made it look like it was close
- 1/5
Worst of all, I arrived in the middle of a cold snap, and there was no heat on in the room. After adjusting the in-room unit and waiting an hour, there was no appreciable temperature change. ( It was probably 50 degrees inside the room, cold enough to make me put on a hoodie and thicker wool socks). Noting the condition of the room I was in, the thought of getting moved to another room was beyond me. I wound up booking another hotel up the block. I feel like this hotels North Tower is a bait and switch from the rooms in their primary space. If anything this shouldnt be listed as a 3 star hotel.
- 2/5
Staff fine. Quality of room was poor...a/c wasn't working, very difficult to turn on shower lever, chips, cracks, poor condition of room, needs major refresh/renovation, hotel front doors hard to enter if carrying luggage, too few hangers in closet...just basically a dumpy room.
- 3/5
No balcony. Deadbolt lock broken. Sink drain clogged. Unable to access ice machine.
- 3/5
Staff was nice but the hotel itself is very outdated and for what I paid for the room I wish the cot wasn't broken!
- 5/5
clean, friendly
- 3/5
Very small room/bathroom for the money. However, if you like Korean BBQ, it is a great location
- 5/5
Friendly staff, room was efficient and spotless. Coffee in room, all amenities and your own balcony.
- 1/5
The room was meant to have a spare bed, but after requesting no sheets were provided. They say they provide tea and coffee but they have a coffee machine in the rooms but provide coffee granules instead of pods. Amenities not replaced daily. I wouldn’t recommend.
- 2/5
I hade pre-paid and non-refundable…. So I was the “sucker”. I asked what the fees were for; “towels and amenities….water!”. Sucker… there was no fill up from water day two and no soap at the sink…..
- 4/5
Nice staff. The Speak Easy is a joke. It is behind a curtain. We walked in to have a drink and was immediately escorted out by the very rude bartender, because we did not want to eat.
- 1/5
Room .. is ok.. at no good
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable, staff was friendly
- 5/5
After a very long international flight, arriving at Hotel 32 32 felt like a breath of fresh air. Check-in was incredibly quick, and the staff immediately made sure I had everything I needed. The bed was exceptional—soft linens, supportive mattress, and perfect pillows. I slept better than I expected after such a long journey. The room had a cozy, calming atmosphere that helped me reset and recover.
- 5/5
This was my first trip to New York, and Hotel 32 32 helped make it unforgettable. I stayed for five nights, and every day I discovered something new within walking distance. The staff always greeted me warmly and provided excellent recommendations for food and sightseeing. My room felt modern and peaceful, a welcome contrast to the exciting chaos of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure—little details that matter after walking miles each day. I couldn’t imagine a better introduction to NYC hospitality.
- 5/5
My friends and I booked two rooms at Hotel 32 32 for a long-awaited reunion in New York. The rooms were next to each other, which the staff arranged without us even asking. Everything was immaculate—spotless bathrooms, comfortable beds, and balconies with lovely city views. The rooftop was the perfect place for us to enjoy cocktails before dinner, and the atmosphere there was vibrant without feeling crowded. Every staff member we met was polite and cheerful. The location made it easy for us to explore the city without spending most of the trip in transit. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base.
- 5/5
I visited NYC for a week-long business trip and chose Hotel 32 32 because of its location, but it ended up being one of the highlights of my stay. My room had a perfect desk setup, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, and plenty of natural light, making remote work actually enjoyable. After long meetings, returning to such a calm, clean, beautifully designed room felt like a gift. Thank you!
- 5/5
My partner and I booked Hotel 32 32 for a romantic weekend in Manhattan, and it exceeded every expectation. The room felt modern and intimate, with soft lighting and an elegant design that made it feel like our own little hideaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the private balcony added the perfect touch—we enjoyed wine there every evening while watching the lights of the city sparkle. The staff was the best. Their attention to detail made the trip unforgettable. We left refreshed, happy, and already planning our next visit.
- 5/5
A hidden gem in NYC. Stylish rooms, friendly staff, and excellent cleanliness.
- 5/5
Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, fast Wi-Fi — everything a traveler needs. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
My partner and I had a fantastic stay. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.Loved the spacious room and the city views. Great value for such an amazing location.
- 5/5
Immaculately clean, beautifully designed rooms, and exceptional service. Five stars without hesitation. The staff was the best!

Perfect place for a NYC getaway. Walking distance to everything I needed and the room was quiet despite being in the heart of the city.
- 5/5
Amazing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff was so helpful and the vibe of the hotel was modern and cozy. This place is a must!
- 5/5
One of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in. Clean rooms, friendly service, and an unbeatable location in Manhattan
- 5/5
Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel 32 32! The staff went above and beyond, and the room had a stunning view of the city. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Best for the price. Perfect location
- 2/5
Room and amenities, I stayed in a queen with balcony the room size overall was perfect the check in was smooth and Angel at front desk was very nice and welcoming, the bad side the bed and pillow case had hair on it along with other stains and it smelled very bad/old as if it wasn’t clean the sheets were not tucked in properly either, upon requesting clean bed sheets also had stain on it like blood stains the night was uncomfortable
- 3/5
We didn’t have the facilities of the hotel in our building where our room was. Very little toiletries basically none. Had to ask for them and extra towels and milk and tea bag for the coffee/tea maker. Shouldn’t have to ask for these when listed & staying 4*
- 5/5
Was pretty nice and clean everything was good except their heating conditioner
- 5/5
Loved the location and will stay again
- 4/5
Clean, reasonably quiet. Bathroom needed a fan
- 5/5
I needed a room closer to work for a night and booked to get some rest away from the construction in my neighborhood for the evening. My room was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful and kind. The location is perfect for a whole host of areas of NYC, as it is central to the city and near lots of wonderful dining and activities. Would recommend for those needing a room in that range without a doubt.
- 3/5
The room was not in great condition, the bed was small, the hallway was super loud and the elevator was very very slow.
- 5/5
Our room was perfect, location was great, staff were super nice.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, staff were friendly & courteous and highly recommend friends & family to come here.
- 1/5
Bed are not confort at all. Smell. Noise. No control of the temperature in the room. Elevator that doesn't give trust. Staff without any doubt are not train to do customer service.
- 5/5
cozy room, friendly staff. No construction noise. elevator is smooth.
- 4/5
Great location, friendly staff. Room was
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I've stayed at several hotels in the area and I will day that the room size was very good. However, the room needed some upkeep in the shower grout, slow shower drain and paint on the walls and doors. Our only other problem was that the A/C had an override on it and kept the room at ~70 degree Fahrenheit and we woke up multiple times way too hot. The snacks and drinks costs were not explained to us being covered by the $30 fee they charge when you check in so we just didn't touch them and got our money back at check out. The lobby is beautiful and we would have tried the sushi restaurant if we had more time. Super easy walk to Korea town and Grand Central Station. Overall, a good stay in a big room- it just needed some general upkeep and control of the A/C.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable & bathroom very clean. However, the walls were dirty
- 3/5
Just ok, friendly staff. good location
- 1/5
They gave me a room in the North Tower across the street from the main lobby. The room looked nothing like the website photos. The room was really run down - every surface chipped, stained, dirty looking. Stained bedding. Even the clothing hangers were broken. Also, spotty WiFi and rude front desk staff at check in
- 5/5
I booked this hotel last minute and checked in late at 9PM and the staff were so kind and helpful! The elevator was out of service at the time(but was fixed by 7AM the next morning) and they offered to move my room to a lower floor so I didn’t have to walk up all the stairs. The room was perfect and they didn’t charge me extra due to it being a larger room. They were so kind and accommodating to the situation and I was very grateful! Would definitely stay here again based on the positive experience
- 5/5
Rene was wonderful and very helpful fixing a shower issue. Thanks, Rene
- 4/5
The staff was very courteous and attentive.
- 4/5
I did not use the balcony or bar
- 1/5
The bad: the hotel is struggling. Seems like an old building that many things simply don’t work and they need to close the hotel and do a major gut renovation. Our room toilet did not flush as we arrive. Then we noticed the sink was not draining. When we pulled the toilet paper, the toilet paper holder fell on the ground. The bathroom door had hooks that fell off and did not get replaced. The room needs a fresh paint job and had walls that needed to be patched up. The bedroom did not have a room thermostat which made hard to adjust the temperature inside when the weather changed outside. All signs that they just need to close, remodel and start over. We hear the neighbor next door had issues with the room door that did not shut properly. I understand the staff was trying hard to deal with these problems but is a major uphill battle they can win. We made a complain to management and were able to agree to remove our additional resort fee since our room did not work properly. Other than that, the location was great.
- 4/5
Great location and front desk crew was very responsive and attentive! Room was clean but a bit beat up.
- 4/5
ok
- 4/5
Room was fine although lots of street noise from 2nd floor. Door was very squeaky and we were concerned with bothering others when opening and heating was poor.
- 5/5
Amazing price quality hotel.
- 3/5
Clean wall, clean floor(lots of hair/dirt in bathroom)
- 3/5
The room itself was fine. The location was excellent. However... The fumes from an electrical fire under the street weren't vented for two days. The offer of some adjustment might have been a nice gesture.
- 5/5
From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The reception staff were kind, patient, and always ready to help with directions or recommendations. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and surprisingly spacious for NYC standards. The kitchenette was a great bonus, especially for quick breakfasts. I also loved how quiet it was inside the room, slept soundly every night. The hotel’s location near the subway made exploring the city incredibly easy. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit! Thanks!
- 5/5
I travel to New York often for work, and this has quickly become my go-to hotel. It’s small enough to feel personal, but still has all the amenities I need. The staff always greets me with a smile and remembers my preferences, which makes a huge difference when you travel frequently. My suite had a little balcony with a city view — such a treat in Manhattan! The Wi-Fi is strong, the shower pressure is great, and everything feels thoughtfully maintained. Five stars without hesitation.
- 5/5
My room was cozy but beautifully decorated, with plenty of natural light and a view of the city streets below. Everything was clean and fresh, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in while traveling. The hotel’s central location made it easy to walk everywhere
- 5/5
I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel 32 32. From the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel right at home. The location couldn’t be more perfect — just a short walk to the Empire State Building, Bryant Park, and so many great restaurants. My room was spotless, with a modern design and a super comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the little kitchenette; it was nice to have coffee in my room each morning before heading out to explore the city. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to New York!
- 5/5
Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Everything looked freshly renovated. Spotless bathroom and cozy bed.
- 5/5
This hotel feels like a boutique secret. Small, intimate, and very clean. Loved it!
- 5/5
Easy access to everything — Times Square, Bryant Park, and good restaurants nearby. Couldn’t ask for more.
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, modern decor, and walking distance to the Empire State Building. Great hotel
- 5/5
The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from everything. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
- 5/5
The location was the best. Central to everything and close to subway. We had a balcony room, which was nice but the fold out bed was pretty awful.
- 2/5
There is another Hotel 32 32 across the street - I am assuming the photos on Hotels.com were of this location. I feel like this was a bait and switch. I would have booked a different hotel upon arrival, but I had to prior to arrival.
- 3/5
Staff were lovely, room me and my husband had was dated and needs redecorated, walls covered in marks.Bed clean and comfortable, bathroom clean, great shower. Not the hotel in pictures ,that's over the road.
- 1/5
Totally over price. Room so tiny. It’s not clean what i expected. Don’t trust pictures.
- 4/5
Staff very helpful. downside, only elevator out of order in the evening. Our room was on the 6th floor!
- 1/5
1 luggage cart, the security guard stood there while I struggled with my bags The room was scary!!! I want a refund I left the next day as fast as possible ….
- 2/5
Maintenance came and fixed the A/C in a jiffy, great maintenance guy. Wifi was very slow and made video conferences hard. room felt like a cross between a do-it yourself renovation and kind of worn, with mis-matched and poorly painted outlets, grout missing, DIY grout in the bath. All in all just felt depressing. I would have given it the 'ok' except based on the price it didn't cover - very expensive for the product in my opinion. Paying the same tonite at a different hotel 2 blocks away and the difference is night and day.
- 2/5
Not terrible…but I will not stay here again. Air conditioning did not work. Only put out hot air. I needed to open the window due to the heat and of course, the noise level in NYC made sleep difficult . Iron was broken. difficult.
- 2/5
The size of the guest room is so much smaller than the area indicated in the booking website as 35m2. The property condition is not good at all, very very simple.
- 3/5
My room was very noisy during the night. First, the city noises, such as garbage trucks working at 2am in the morning, that could be avoided eith better window isolation, then inside the room there was some noise of water dripping inside the walls and the noise of the centeal ACV system running. Additionally, the room was very hot and no way to control the temperature.
- 5/5
This hotel is a hidden gem. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a fantastic location. I was able to walk to most attractions. I also appreciated how quickly they responded to requests
- 5/5
Stayed here for four nights and it was perfect. Super walkable to everything. The staff at 32 32 Hotel were absolutely amazing. I needed extra towels late at night and they brought them up within minutes. Super responsive and kind!
- 5/5
Perfect base for a NYC trip. Clean rooms, friendly people, and great location.
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet, and had a comfy bed. No complaints at all.
- 5/5
Our room had so much natural light and a nice little view of the street below. Quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely stay!
- 5/5
Loved the vibe of the room – very minimal and modern. Wi-Fi was fast, which helped for work.
- 5/5
Felt safe and well taken care of. The housekeeping team did a great job every day.
- 5/5
Location can’t be beat. You’re walking distance to great restaurants and the subway.
- 5/5
Everything was tidy and well-kept. The location made it easy to explore Midtown and beyond.
- 5/5
Room was bigger than I expected for Manhattan. Loved having a kitchenette too!
- 5/5
The front desk was helpful and polite, and the check-in process was smooth. The rooftop was a bonus!
- 5/5
Loved staying here! Super close to everything and the bed was so comfortable. Would definitely come back.
- 5/5
Perfect location and friendly staff. My room had a great view of the city and was surprisingly spacious for NYC standards.
- 2/5
Pros: - Location. Amazing location. Like two blocks from the Empire State building. While walking, I "accidentally" stumbled across Madison Square Park. So beautiful. This is truly a prime location! - friendly staff. Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. - Comfy bed. - Reliable WiFi - Amazing water pressure in the shower, even at among the highest floor! Cons: - No AC in room, and even with windows and balcony door cracked, I was sweating all night long and hard to sleep. - While the sheets and towels seemed cleaned, everything else was very, very dirty. Many left over hairs in the shower, a dirty film and spots on the toilet seat that required wiping down before using, the walls and baseboards were absolutely filthy. - There were literal holes in the wall, scuffs and scrapes everywhere, very run down and not maintained. The shower head was wiggly and loose. The "privacy film" on the window in the bathroom was peeling off, right where you sit on the toilet, so everyone can get a free show into your personal bathroom matters. I could see a guy across the street working on his computer while sitting there lol not ideal. Summary: For the price and room accomodations, I expected more in terms of cleanliness and being more maintained. But I'm not from NYC, so maybe that's just the expectation, high priced "botique" hotels that are very run down and not maintained and dirty. *shrug*
- 1/5
The hotel was super average. The bathroom didn’t work. There was no air conditioning.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Great customer service, convenient location and sushi by Bou was amongst the highlight of my short trip
- 3/5
Price could be better but otherwise the hotel is nice and the location is good.
- 1/5
The room they tried to give us was stink of Marijuana, the walls had graffiti drawn on them inside the entrance, there was visible dirt & handprints on the walls, the nightstands were damaged. We had to cancel our reservation & they have not refunded our payment.
- 5/5
We had a very smooth experience booking with Expedia, it was a pleasure working with Hotel 32 32 to make sure everything was ready for our team, and our team had a wonderful stay in NYC! Thank you so much for everything! We would all return & we would all definitely recommend! :)
- 4/5
being in the room itself is very relaxing, could fix a few things maintenance wise but overall a great stay.
- 4/5
Room was small but very clean and well supplied. Outlet in bathroom was not working but there were several others, one near a mirror. Would have like to control room temp, but comfy enuf. Like the location proximity to venue I was attending and in good area.
- 3/5
Strange layout - not at all like the photos. No lobby, odd corridors.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good walkable area. Close to shopping and Empire State Building.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Very rundown, and not as the website says/looks. Staff was very friendly which made it more comfortable, but would never stay there again.
- 4/5
Overall a good stay at Hotel 32 32, the room was a good size, the beds were comfy. Some areas including bathroom just needed a bit of TLC. Some friendly staff, my check in felt rushed, didn’t realise I had air conditioning in my room until half way through the holiday as no mounted wall control. Location was good, 10/15 mins from Times Square, and most tourist destinations easily accessible.
- 3/5
The hotel is great, but after i reserved, i was notified of additional daily fees not mentioned in the listing. I wrote the manager back asking why they were not disclosed in the listing ... no response. And too late to cancel.
- 5/5
Great experience from start to finish. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel 32 32. The location is perfect — close to everything yet quiet at night. The room was super clean and stylish.
- 5/5
Clean room, great location, and above all, a helpful staff.
- 5/5
Amazing service! I called the front desk asking for extra pillows and they arrived in under 10 minutes. Super efficient and friendly staff. Great stay!
- 5/5
Enjoyed time in New York
- 2/5
The only nice things about this property were towels and location. Everything else (condition of the hotel, cleanliness, the bedding, the bed, furniture, the view of the hotel) were all wobbly and uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Lots of great restaurants around, K beauty stores abound, and very walkable. Fun spot to be in. Rooms are on the small side and perfect for a couple nights.
- 2/5
The person on the front desk at checking was rude, definitely would benefit of having some customer service training. The latino guy on the front desk the second day was good, friendly and helpful.

Great location, easy check in
- 3/5
Good location, small and a bit run down. A little disappointing for the price, but it wasn’t a bad place to stay.
- 4/5
Hotels small but great location. Rooms are a good size compared to most in the city. Clean and floors only have a small amount of rooms on them so the hotel is quite quiet. Had a great nights sleep.
- 3/5
Wish Expedia told me about the 200 dollar security deposit.. but it’s cool
- 4/5
Overall the
- 3/5
Clean enough. Sink had caulked crack line on top/ sb replaced, otherwise ok but expensive for what it is
- 5/5
This hotel is nice, the location is perfect, and the staff was friendly. The reason I chose this hotel was because we needed a freezer but there is not an actual freezer in the room, there are two small refrigerators. The room had a strong smell of colonge which wasn't terrible but also wasn't great. Nothing we couldn't withstand and better than an alternative of smelling bad.
- 3/5
I book 2 Queen premier rooms with balcony’s. It stated on your web site that they were 487 square feet. But when we arrived and checked in the rooms were very small. At least half the size of what it stated online. I went to the front desk and asked why. She said she didn’t know what it stated online and I booked thru a 3rd party site , I would have to take it up with them . If we wanted a bigger room they had one available for an extra $20.00 a night. So we just paid the extra to get the size of room we originally wanted. I thought it was a Nate and switch. I was not happy. I think you either need to up date your site or speak to Hotel 32 32.
- 5/5
Clean quiet and pleasant staff would recommend
- 1/5
Doors and room look like they were third hand buys. What a bad place
- 1/5
As a reference, this is my first ever review on a hotel because others need to be warned. Good location, and friendly front desk staff but the property itself is in quite bad shape. My door lock didn't work, and it looked like my particular room was broken into many times. Every wall was scuffed & stained, holes in the walls and pieces of trim missing everywhere. 0 grout in the shower floor which makes it look very dirty. The shower head was broken so water shot out of the bathroom into the room. Only 1 set of outlets in my room worked. In 2 days, I maybe had wifi for 30 seconds, so do not expect wifi which is difficult when traveling for work like I was. The AC barely worked, just blew hot smelly air, trying to sleep was tough. On my 2nd night I arrived to the elevator out of service so I had to use the stairs, thank goodness I was only on the 7th floor. Others were so upset on the higher floors. I would never stay again.
- 5/5
Our first host was delightful and she had great energy. Hotel was spacious and near a lot of good food and subway stations!
- 2/5
Not at all like the pictures online.
- 1/5
The hotel in real life did not look like the pictures. Very disappointing!
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 1/5
We did not spend much time in the room, but this was for the best since the room was very unpleasant. The bathroom had a severe black mold problem and a water rotted hole above the shower. The bathroom had no vent fan and the toilet reservoir could not fill and was making noise all night. The walls throughout the room were filthy. It’s strange, there was premium furniture and fixtures, but a lot of the “quick fixes” most places do (like a fresh coat of paint) were not done. I was also not happy about the amenities fee given the available “amenities”. My interactions with the staff were fine, they seemed professional. We booked this trip last minute and were trying to save some money, so I did not raise these issues to the front desk. Next time I will make different choices.
- 3/5
The hotel gets the job done with clean towels, nice bed linens and a comfortable bed. Half of the furniture was broken in some way and in need of replacement. Balcony door was barely functional. The walls look like they haven't been repainted in a decade.
- 4/5
great location, very nice staff, bathroom and bedding was clean but overall room condition was poor. it just needs a complete new paint job and it would be so much nicer.
- 4/5
Great location near 33ed street train station on Lexington Ave, to go donor up town. Good restaurants on 3 Ave to dine at. Room was a little tired but bathroom was nice large and clean. Bed comfortable. Would stay again. Great neighborhood and location for folks with business and sight seeing who want to be half way to everything.
- 5/5
Could not be happier with my stay! Very clean and in a great location for travel. Thank you!
- 4/5
The location of the hotel is great, as well as the staff
- 5/5
Great staff, super friendly and helpful! Wifi was good, and room was clean and nice
- 3/5
Sandra at the front desk was amazing however our room had black mold in the shower and wasn’t thoroughly cleaned.
- 4/5
Odd shaped rooms but convenient and clean
- 3/5
The location was very convenient. The actual lobby seemed clean and inviting, however my room looked alittle worn- lots scuffs on the walls, the tile in the bathroom was buckling in some places, mildew stains in the grout. There was a heavy fragrance in the room that was a bit stifling from a cleaning product ? as I did not see an air freshner. The window or the door to the balcony would not open, so I couldn't let any fresh air in help with the heavy smell. I was on there for one nite, not sure if I would stay again. The rate was very reasonable though for the night I was there, if it would have been more, I would have been extremely dissappointed. But maybe I just got a bad room, as other reviews seem to say better things.
- 1/5
It's confusing as to how the average review rating can be so high. The rooms are old and cheaply done. There were bugs flying the bed, the mattress if which noticeably did not fit in the frame. The amenities were minimal. The bathrooms were in ok condition. If the price was 1/3 of what we paid that would've been about right. Double check before you book.
- 5/5
One note. The in house sushi restaurant is reservation only. They do not take walk ins. However there is a QR code in the room and it was very easy for me to book a same day reservation. Overall i give it 5/5 and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to NYC.
- 5/5
One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in New York. The vibe was cool and relaxed, and the service was super professional. Would return in a heartbeat!
- 5/5
Great spot to stay in the city. Comfortable room, attentive staff, and the perfect base to explore Manhattan.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved it. The view from the room was amazing, and everything felt fresh and modern. I felt right at home.
- 5/5
Stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. Super central, really comfortable bed, and great value for NYC.
- 5/5
Can’t recommend this place enough. Clean, stylish, and right in the heart of Manhattan. Everyone at the front desk was so kind and welcoming.
- 5/5
Hotel 32 32 made our NYC trip even better. Great location, modern rooms, and exceptional customer service. Will definitely book again.
- 5/5
Loved staying at Hotel 32 32! The location is unbeatable close to everything, but still peaceful at night. The staff was super helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Saundra let us leave our bags to wander around all day and Sophia checked us in. Both were super friendly and helpful with tips about the area.
- 5/5
I had no issues during my stay here. The room was spacious, remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating!
- 4/5
So all in all a really good stay and a good budget place to stop in central manhatten. But a few points. The south tower is definitely nicer than the North tower. I'd heard this and when I'd booked a long time ago I asked to stay in the South tower and was told to get in touch closer to the time. I emailed and used the contact us page in the weeks preceeding our visit and got no response and arrived to find us in the North tower which was disappointing. For Manhatten the rooms were a decent size with all the things you'd hope for. Comfy. The North tower has one elevator for an awful lot of floors and rooms. We were very thankful to be low down in the building and just used the stairwell. The Staff were really helpful, gave us extra water as it was crazy hot when we visited. Polite and professional. The room cleaning was limited. They basically make your beds and empty the bins. A little surprised with the little kitchenette that they don't clean your glasses / put the bathroom back like it should be. The last thing I'd say we saw it advertised a lot on line and on instagram like it is some sort of boutique hotel. It really is not! Generally very pleased and would stay here again but not luxury at all!.
- 5/5
The A/C was broken. There was jack hammering construction next door until 6;00 am
- 2/5
Room/balcony not as advertised.
- 4/5
Great location, subway station on the corner.
- 1/5
We barely slept out of fear it would happen again. In the morning, I went to ask the front desk for an explanation, but he brushed it off, saying we “should’ve called last night” and refused to reassure us that this wouldn’t happen again. They fixed the drain and shower, but never apologized or took responsibility for what happened at midnight. I paid $290 CAD per night for this stay—when we could’ve stayed at the Hilton down the street for the same price—with far better service and security. This hotel is unsafe, unprofessional, and fails to care about its guests’ well-being. I left feeling disappointed, exhausted, and concerned for our safety. I will never stay here again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before booking.
- 3/5
Not too bad of a hotel in a great location in NYC. Front desk on checkout was non-responsive. Internet was not good at all. Could use some upgrades.
- 5/5
Hotel as described, staff on reception very helpful and informative. Location was great for us, and close to the hop on and hop off bus. Also nice and close to Penn station for travelling back to JFK on our leaving.
- 4/5
This hotel offers some rooms with a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals if, like me, you prefer to keep your costs low by eating in instead of out. The room I had was perfect for that. Check-in was easy and quick; and the location was quite convenient for me.

- 5/5
Excellent front desk staff
- 5/5
Convenient!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the hotel. It was perfect for me and my partner. It was just the two of us. I did search a lot for a hotel with a balcony and I finally found this one. I will definitely recommend it. I will definitely come back again.
- 1/5
Room wasn’t clean, bad balcony view, bathroom dirty
- 5/5
Great location in Ktown. Roomy compared to Times Sq hotels or others downtown walkable!
- 2/5
A pretty mediocre stay for the most part, but my shower was missing a door panel, there were a bunch of tiny bugs crawling in the top corner of the shower, oh and the bathroom ceiling started leaking right over the toilet! Balcony was very underwhelming, like a telephone booth in an alley. As a 30yr old solo traveler, I don't need much to sustain me, but I'm sure you can find a better hotel nearby for the same price
- 5/5
Great location, just few block to Korean Town, Time square. Nice staff
- 2/5
The place was relatively inexpensive, the room was clean but not in the best condition, the service was responsive. The location was actually pretty good for our purposes.
- 4/5
We had a balcony.
- 5/5
My flight got canceled so I needed a room. Finding this hotel helped me out and made my night better. Lots of space and comfortable.
- 3/5
The WiFi was spotty the two days we were staying. The staff gave us a modem but that didn’t help much. If you’re on vacation but still needing to work, I wouldn’t stay here. But for convenience and location—access to KTown—were excellent!
- 3/5
The size of the room
- 5/5
Great service. The room was very clean and the vibe was perfect!
- 3/5
The sheets and comforter on top were clean, but under those sheets were dirty. The shower for the bathroom also had no cover or sliding door so the floor would get soaking wet. Great staff though.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was amazing
- 2/5
Nice staff. OK room but bathroom was dirty. Expensive for what you got. They should update pictures online
- 1/5
When i arrived they asked what I wanted. I was informed I could not check in untill 3pm. When I got back they charged me 68.00 resort fee and told me nothing. There is no resort. The next day I asked what service they provided. There is no service. It does not have a kitchen it’s a computer desk with a single coffee maker on it and a small can of pringles. The balcony is a one person stand with a view of broken windows.
- 4/5
A good hotel to stay at which was convenient for a holiday in New York. Walkable distance to main attractions.
- 4/5
Comfortable room. The door staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Lots of great and varied places to eat close by. Easy walk to lots of places or to subway.

Great value for the location. I’ve stayed in several NYC hotels and this one had the best balance of price, comfort, and convenience. The front desk staff were professional, and the room had everything I needed, including good Wi-Fi, a comfy bed, and hot shower.

We booked a room with a balcony, and it made a big difference. Having a small space to sit outside made our stay more enjoyable. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It’s not luxury, but it’s very comfortable and well located. We’d stay again.

I came with my two teenage kids and booked a suite. It was spacious enough for the three of us, and having a kitchenette saved us money on food. We were able to walk to Central Park and take the subway easily. The staff was kind and the room was clean every day. It’s a good spot for families on a budget

I stayed here for a 5-night trip with my partner and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was modern, clean, and had a mini kitchenette that came in handy for late-night snacks and breakfast. The balcony was small but a lovely bonus—having a bit of fresh air in NYC is rare. Staff were friendly and answered all our questions. Great location too—close to Grand Central and plenty of restaurants.

This Hotel had a great location. Lots of food walking distance and subway also close by. Hotel was good for the most part. Pretty clean and staff was nice. Only thing is had to pay for a cleaning service everyday only had my room cleaned once out of three days. But otherwise it was a good hotel for the price !
