Reviews
The hotel is praised for its central location in Olomouc's old town, with many reviews highlighting the convenience of nearby attractions and amenities. The staff are generally described as friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a standout feature, with a wide variety of options and good quality food. However, some guests have issues with the comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the rooms. The hotel's facilities, such as air conditioning and parking, are also criticized in some reviews.

Great last minute booking. But the property is very runned down. Mold in the bathroom in the shower. Broken buttons on the air conditioner unit that was not easy to use. Always smelt like smoke. Definitely a strong language barrier for the night time staff. Other than that, great location and okay for one night stay.

My biggest issue with the hotel was at no fault of the staff. It is located in East New York Brooklyn, one of the top five crime areas of NYC. I had no issues, but made it a point to return to the room by sundown. It was very close to the subway, so that was very convenient and helped me feel a little safer. The only other issue that occurred was the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking on my last day. Luckily I was able to stay there using points, so it was worth the risky neighborhood and the plumbing issue that occurred. The room was a nice space with a large private bathroom. The bathroom could have used a mirror, but I used the reflection on the backside of the detachable shower head for a mirror, which seemed to work ok. I feel I was able to make do, so this place could be ok as a budget option.

But…you’ll spend so much money on Ubers on your return trip because the neighborhood after dark feels a little too electric. In fact, that first night, you’ll wake up to a man banging on the doors on your floor, screaming “nooooo” and other things, until he breaks down sobbing for a full 20 minutes or so. On night two, you’ll scoot past the folks hanging outside the hotel, only to hear some gun shots a few minutes later outside your window. The location of the hotel will inspire you to leave early in the daylight and stay out all day - which in itself is kind of a blessing because it forces you to see things in the city you might otherwise skip. It’s true that night three, the final night, is most uneventful and you might even feel a little bit of growth having seen this whole thing through. But if you knew at booking what I know now, I’d suggest just putting the money spent on car services towards a room a little closer to where you wanted to spend time. But…ultimately, it’s up to you. Either way, we’re lucky to have a chance to enjoy some time in this city in this country. Be safe and spread joy

I was visiting Brooklyn for a week and decided to stay here through 2 seperate bookings. The staff was excellent and very friendly and parking was easy. Unfortunately I have to give this place 1 star because there were 2 roaches in the first room I booked so I had to stay with a friend most of the nights I was in the city. While I understand this is common in a big city like New York, I’ve stayed in Brooklyn many times and never had this problem.

Front desk was great and thorough, room was well clean and staff was great. Would stay here again.

No shops nearby hair on the bed and the staff wasn't helpful
- 3/5
Was an average hotel if is in your budget stay somewhere else closer to downtown Brooklyn, was not the safest at night , if you’re a solo female traveler would not recommend.
- 1/5
It was an awful hotel experience thin walls rude staff and too expensive for the area. No microwave and the wifi didn’t work and the television wasn’t working
- 1.5/5
Staff mostly friendly, though there was a language ( Spanish ) or English dialect barrier. Bed reasonably comfortable. Short distance to subway and restaurants. No Wifi to very inconsistent internet access; low flow shower heads; heating unit didn't work regularly--after ten minutes would go to air-condition mode; elevator noticeably loud when needing to sleep after midnight; never got back my fifty dollar deposit; asked for body wash dispenser to be refilled--never got refilled. I'll will only ask once.
- 3/5
The vent in the washroom was very very loud..the elevator chiming is extremely loud. The walls are very thin.

The place smells bad, the staff is not friendly and make feel welcome to the customers. The room smell to bad, the floor was dirty, no mirror in any space the room or bathroom; they charge me a couple more dollar over the price I pay with Expedia I don’t understand what they said about it. I don’t recommend this place no body. No places to shop around..
- 3/5
It’s fine.
- 0.5/5
Nothing. Terrible didn’t even let me in.
- 3/5
There is no hanger but only hooks for clothes in the room. The bed mattress was with bad smell in my 1st room, and the bed liner was with strong softener smell in my 2nd room. The water temperature was another issue for me. The room price can be another issue. I booked my room for under $100/night. But, the room rate was jumped to more than $200/night the next morning. The room rate was jumped again to more than $300/night on my check out day. Totally unbelievable!!
- 3/5
Noise early in the morning
- 1/5
Moldy bathroom with barely any hot water and minimal water pressure. The hotel is run down and dirty. Staff was barely there and not helpful. The walls are paper thin, I could hear the elevator ding every single time, so you should expect to get little to no sleep. Beware: they have a zero guest policy which I think is a little insane.
- 5/5
Good comfortable room good guest just wish the tv could accept wifi but overalls great stay
- 0.5/5
It had parking There was a lot of people coming in and out like a shelter along with lots of what looks like prostitution going on in the area
- 5/5
- I like that the property was a good location - The front desk attendants were very polite and accommodating - The room was comfortable especially for the price A bit loud in the hallways
- 0.5/5
Nothing Loud all night doors slamming smoke free property smelt like marijuana location was full of prostitutes no WiFi tv had 2 channels that kept shutting off due to lack of WiFi BBB security guard in lobby sleeping
- 4/5
Places in a bad location, it also has a bad reputation for drugs.\n Everything feels more like a confined house. Arrest. Day plus the noise in the music and the in and out all night long, it's very hard to get a good night's sleep. I brought you this family in making. What's your strong

I was expecting more and the customer service was very poor. The room 3/10 if I’m to be honest I wanted to go somewhere else but I had already book there, WiFi on television doesn’t work A/C also wasn’t working it wasn’t a great stay as I wanted it to be, if you’re not in early and the parking is full you have to be on the side of the road which isn’t safe….
- 5/5
Room was spotless….very good service…..
- 3/5
The room was very good and functional, but the floor was dirty and we were on the first floor, so it was incredibly loud during the whole night. We could hear guests and people arguing in the lobby well into the early morning hours, as well as the cleaning cart.
- 3/5
Not too good no microwave in the home I have to go all the way down stairs to heat up my food
- 3/5
Had a room on the 1st floor and could hear music playing nextdoor and the creaking of the elevator and front door opening.
- 4/5
It was better than I thought it would be. It was clean, but small.

- 1/5
1 star hotel
- 3/5
The room was okay, it just wasn’t worth $100.
- 3/5
Internet was down a week n half no solutions or accommodations
- 3/5
Shopping should be easy given that one of the buses goes all the way to one of the main Shopping centers in the area. My only issue with this stay was that where the microwaves are, there's no water; even though I requested some to make tea and the soup, it was not supplied. Hopefully, adjustments will be made. But in all, it is a good and hospitable accommodation
- 4/5
The room was clean and the bathroom soooo sooo nice the only thing was the sink it was broke but the bed was so cozy and I didn’t not want to get out of bed.
- 2/5
The bed had someone else hair on the blanket. But the most amazing part was whe I went to wash my hand in the sink and I turned on the water and it was brown with particles left behind once the water went down. We told the works and showed them pictures and the customer service that they presented was unacceptable. They was not hearing to give a partial refund or no kind of compensation. I will never go back here.
- 3/5
No microwave or way to heat up food and had no trashcan in room. Had to put trash in a bag that I already had food I couldn’t heat up and eat. Smelled good and clean inside. There was a security officer in the lobby. You must bring your own drinks and snacks. There was no vending machine and it’s only street parking which was hard to find.

I am from this part of Brooklyn. It’s nice to see how much the area has grown since my childhood. This hotel is actually really decent physically. HOWEVER… it would be better if it wasn’t ran like a bodega. The lobby is uninviting with bulletproof glass. Front desk people not friendly or helpful. Dumb rules about “no visitors”… I am a whole grown ass grandma.. I don’t. Need permission to have someone visit me in a room I am paying for. Charges for a lost room key ($10) and a strict no smoking policy when the lobby consistently smelled like weed. Stop it. All these rules but i absolutely overheard a clerk sell a room for $50 for two hours. WTH? Did I stay in a ho-hotel? . If management would treat this place higher end, it would be a good place to stay. The housekeeping staff was great because I never saw them but they cleaned my room nicely. The fan in the bathroom, terribly loud, AC was cracked, curtain stained.. and you can hear conversations from the lobby .. and yet it was still a decent place if you know how to navigate Brooklyn.
- 5/5
Place was clean and the area was noisy.
- 2/5
Wifi was not working. Right by the train which was nice
- 3/5
This was my second time booking at this hotel. I didnt really like the room from level C that time. It was smaller. YouTube didn't work because the signal was low due to floor level I guess. Anyway, I will book again because no noise and it was easy to find parking. Also, I wish they provided some breakfast. But no big deal.
- 1/5
Stink like maruana every day .people going in and out like was like a hour hotel and i was not able to sleep cause was fighting all night on the same floor. No phone in my room
- 4/5
Clean room, professional staff but a coffee maker or a microwave seems to be missing. A hot beverage would have done wonders given the rainy day
- 3/5
I liked the price
- 5/5
Wonderful place would definitely go back there
- 3/5
It was very loud and wasn’t able to sleep comfortably. There was constant movement and talking right outside the door at 3 am and early in the morning at 6-7am. It was clean inside the room though
- 3/5
The room was clean, however, it was tiny, the tiles on the floor were freezing and the heater was ineffective. Additionally the rooms are not fully sound proof because the noise from the elevator and the persons moving their cleaning buckets through the corridor were clearly heard any time of the day or night.
- 4/5

- 1/5
Bathroom was horrible the fan was falling down from ceiling it was taped on the towel rack was broken the shower handle broken and no water pressure
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
The room was nice, and the staff was very accommodating, it is a little pricier for it being so far from the shops and eateries, but there was a subway close by though.
- 4/5
Room spotless. Staff friendly.
- 1/5
Let’s start with the bathroom: No hot water Shower head has mold Gives us only one toilet paper roll, that has already been used Next to the bedroom: The lovely WiFi doesn’t work, when my fiance goes down we’ll be right up to fix it never came! The bed sheets were stained with brown and red spots Next to the hallway: At all times, 2am, 6am, even 8am there are people shouting, cursing at each other that you can literally hear them from down the hall but they have “security” downstairs by the front desk ? What to only protect the front desk but not the people who pay 100+ to stay at your hotel. Never again, am me or my fiancé ever coming back to this digusting hotel, I wanted to leave so bad on the same night but knew I would not get my money back. Never again!
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. The room was neat and tidy with PLENTY of charging ports and outlets. The shower was spacious, clean, and the hot water was perfect. Would definitely stay again.
- 2/5
It was extremely noisy all night - my first-floor room with thin walls and door sounded like it was next to a fight club. I was thankful to check out the next morning.
- 3/5
The room was clean. Staff was kind.
- 4/5
Ok
- 3/5
I was charged twice even though I had my receipt from Expedia. We were on a time crunch so we just accepted it
- 2/5
First room had no hot water I had to get my room which was annoying..the room I switch too the bed had a big dent in it…I paid for tv with WiFi by day 2 there was no WiFi…hotel was very noisy also!
- 3/5
unsafe outside
- 1/5
Killed multiple bugs that were crawling around the room throughout the night. Place was smelly and unclean. Room was super loud all night, could hear all activity on the floor and outside on the street. Made it very hard to sleep.
- 2/5
Unfortunately quiet ghetto. Do not recommend.
- 4/5
Yes
- 2/5
Lets be totally clear this is a hotel for prostitution. The staff there is very nice but there are hookers right around
- 3/5
overall, it had a bed. the shower head was tilted and it was so high i couldn’t reach it. i had to wait 10 minutes for the water to get hot- and there was no water pressure. the wifi was very very slow. the redeeming value is that there was AC, the staff was pretty nice, there was security, and i was able to rest. if you’re looking for a place in a budget and willing to compromise this place is worth it.
- 3/5
The room was alright, some things weren’t working (lights and outlets) but it was fine for a single night stay. The area around is very unsafe, we heard multiple gunshots throughout the night.
- 1/5
Noisy from people in hallway all night banging doors and feeling unsafe, dirty and left after first night even though we needed multiple nights.
- 4/5
Cheap option at Brooklyn.
- 1/5
No WiFi, Shower rarely worked. Room rarely cleaned and bugs everywhere after a day.
- 5/5
God place to stay in Brooklyn
- 1/5
Dry thin wall. Could hear everyone on the floor but main feature was filth.
- 2/5
The building & room seemed nice enough. Walked to get something to eat & it was obvious that it was a rough neighborhood. We saw a policeman, a Lieutenant that told us to get in the car. He would take us to a clean place to eat. Took us back to our hotel & told us to get out of this neighborhood. We checked out & left
- 2/5
Very bad neighborhood at night and not soundproof
- 4/5
The staff is cool. What I will say
- 3/5
The bathroom was small and the fan/ ventilation system was loud. The lights for the lights behind the mirror would flicker like a rave and was blinding after a while. I did not feel comfortable using the towels Checked out early and I don’t think it’s worth a second stay.
- 4/5
Very convenient to subway station. Area around the hotel has gone down significantly. A lot of questionable activities around the hotel. Never felt uncomfortable or threatened, but very obvious.
- 5/5
Nice place. Convenient
- 1/5
It’s very bad!
- 1/5
Some wanna be thug turned hotel front desk clerk basically forced me to give him 50 dollar security deposit for incidentals I booked through Expedia wasn’t comfortable with giving card tv didn’t work faucet falling off in room sink transgender sex workers in front of hotel on corner hotel is trash #respectfully
- 4/5
It was a nice and clean hotel the area is a bit much
- 3/5
The room was cute and served its purpose but they are selling ass in and around the premises. Upon arrival the front desk clerk harassed me to pay a $50 deposit for one night and I checked in after 9pm. To only look out my window and see people smoking crack in the parking lot behind. never again
- 2/5
Crack heads everywhere at night time .
- 5/5
Very good spot to stay at I go here every week . Staff is friendly prices are good can’t complain.
- 4/5
I like that the room was clean. What I didn’t like was the towel and linen were discolored. On a average 6/10 ratings for this hotel.
- 1/5
Inside, my first night was far from restful. The hot water was not functioning, making it impossible to enjoy a warm shower after a long day. Additionally, the toilet wobbled precariously, which was quite alarming. When it came to bed linens, I was disappointed to find that the sheets were not clean, further detracting from my experience. On a positive note, the hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation. This made it simple to explore the area, which was one of the few highlights of my stay.
- 5/5
Price good, room clean and affordable. However noisy and disturbing during the night. Loud music, fixing vehicles till 4am. Used food delivery limited options
- 1/5
Not clean
- 4/5
I love that the hotel was close to the train station so transportation around the city was easy
- 1/5
I do not recommend this property at all. Yes it may be affordable but when I arrive to my room i examined the bed only to find hairs and stains in my bed covers. It’s as if they just made the bed from the previous customers and did not change the linens. Our peep hole was broken and replaced with tissue and it was leaks and hairs in the bathroom. Do not stay here.
- 1/5
Sketchy area with a broken AC
- 3/5
They car a small car park but when it’s full they do NOT put any signs and then customers have to find a way to reverse or turn around in the tiny space which caused damages to their vehicles, evidence of which is on the wall including my car which has scrapes on the right side from exiting
- 1/5
I could not sleep at all during the night as people were partying outside my bedroom. There were pubic hairs in my shower and bed.
- 5/5
Great hotel. There is a limited parking area in the back. Unfortunately they do not provide breakfast but the staff are friendly.
- 4/5
The property had werid people around loud arguments all night long couldn't get sleep so much noise
- 3/5
The hotel is a short 3-minute walk from the Liberty Avenue subway station (A and C lines), near the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue
- 5/5
Need more parking for the handicap with visible signs.
- 5/5
I love it
- 5/5
Solid in a pinch
- 3/5
Everything was great. Except taking a shower there. Water pressure was inexistent. Might as well take a bird bath
- 2/5
Not a great area. Stains all over the room
- 3/5
It did the job but the hotel itself is sketchy, noise all night, people hanging in parking lot really late and the elevator is really loud, you can hear it like it's in your room. Otherwise the bed was good and it was clean.
- 4/5
Really have no complaints. Get what you pay for here. The room was small but it was clean. 4 minute walk to train was super convenient. Lots of stores nearby. Some skerchy individuals in and around the property but they dont bother you if you dont bother them. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Always amazing
- 3/5
Druggies and prostitutes outside window. Convenient for what I needed it for, just 2 nights.
- 2/5
Room occupancy was max 2. No guests were allowed. No food at all served. No hot drinks available. Could be quite noisy as school bus depot opposite. Bed large and comfortable. Bathroom fine.staff friendly.
- 3/5
The Hotel staff is amazing. It was just the guest, they were loud and even arguing outside. Since we were on the 1st floor,we heard it all they even broke a window or something. Than proceeded to bang on the door.
- 3/5
No cleaning and odor
- 4/5
It's close to convenient store and subway.
- 3/5
Basically as expected for the price. Clean but run down. Very noisy at night from other guests and the street.
- 4/5
It was what we expected and the location also goo
- 4/5
Surprised if you see transgender street walkers outside Have nude. There are not very many stores open at night. As for pay and deposit, If you pay with your credit card or debit card it will take you 3 to 4 days to get your $100.00 Deposit. back. However, if you pay in cash, you'll get your $100 back when you leave. I was gonna leave photos but mysteriously. It won't allow me to add photos
- 5/5
Clean...small...just a bed tv fridge a nice size bathroom...I truly like this hotel...it's clean no bugs...it's where I needed to be in all areas 20mins away....3rd time staying.
- 5/5
It was a pleasant experience
- 5/5
Very clean, organized, and comfortable stay.
- 1/5
There was no tv service or internet the entire night I watch movies in my phone. When asked the front desk about service I was told idk when it will come back on
- 2/5
Bed was comfortable
- 3/5
Room was clean but small with limited amenities. Hotel located in a sketchy neighborhood.
- 3/5
Better cleanliness and need better towels. Didn’t ask me if I wanted smoking or non smoking. Ppl were loud
- 3/5
High rates for decent rooms
- 3/5
Unfortunately I did not feel safe during my stay. There are sex workers all over the area and many men walking the streets watching them and you. I felt that my car was only safe if parked out front of the hotel. The room was clean and we were left alone but overall it was a very stressful stay and not as enjoyable as I hoped. If you stay here i recommend you get to the room and stay there before dark.
- 3/5
This property was clean , will definitely stay again
- 3/5
Cool just over priced for area
- 1/5
Neighborhood is not safe!
- 1/5
Worst hotel
- 5/5
Super fantastic food personal and everything was amazing
- 1/5
I like that it’s located close to the train station but staying at this place they had me sleeping on the same sheets for days I know this because I made a stain on it hoping it would be changed but the cleaning lady just made the bed up with the same sheets underneath
- 2/5
That is one place I would not go back to
- 2/5
Not a bad place but for the price you can get a lot better!
- 3/5

My stay was not what I expected, An when I tell y’all this is not a hotel you want to stay at because the property was dirty, had sex workers outside the hotel an it gave motels vibes to the point I went to purchase some cleaning products an brought my own sheets an the room was small in the inside really no space to walk around. I was on the first floor an that was the worst because it so close to the lobby you can hear them talking an people was in there fighting an arguing they was in there kicking people out an more overall don’t stay here cause it’s definitely where they go trick off at I’m sorry to say. And I was supposed to stay for the weekend but I decided to leave the next day I was just visiting to go see the fight an that hotel was so bad to the point I just stayed a night cause I just couldn’t do it

The stay experience at this hotel, was quite memorable and accessible. The room in whole was clean and the included WiFi and tv which was very kind and convenient. I would book again in the future. I appreciated the staff and service as well. Thank you Expedia for the easy booking and to the Hotel for their amenities.

It was my 1st time in NYC and the security guard and staff are supper nice and helpful. The room is well clean and walking to the subway is just a few mins walk which is convinient and near by food too.

Linen had hair, blanket had blood stain which is gross, walls had so many stains everywhere, furniture in poor condition. For the price not worth it. Staff was alright.

would go again!

But it would be better if they have a microwave there

This is seemed to be more of a “pay by the hour” type of place. S-x workers on the corners. Had I known we would have stayed somewhere else. The room was clean which was appreciated, staff was friendly enough. No ice machine, no closet in the room or luggage rack. C train MTE was right around the corner.

There were roaches. For the money I spent, it was not worth it! The walls need to be painted. The floors were dirty. Hair as all over.
