Breakfast options weren't great. No fresh hot food options. Walls could use a good cleaning. Pool needed cleaned. Beds were comfortable

This is an older property that could use some work. Too expensive for what they offer.

Instead of removing one of the three nights they cancelled the existing booking entirely and rebooked for 2 at a date much closer to the trip which drastically increased the cost of this stay. Room had a weird smell. About what you would expect for a lower cost hotel/motel type stay.

Microwave had dried food inside. Desk chair covering was worn away on top and part of seat area. Free breakfast options were minimal; and no half & half. Manager was helpful, but property is substandard.

I love the location in central Newberg, close to just about everything. The breakfast needs some type of egg dish for protein, other than that I have no complaints.

This hotel is clean and felt safe for me and my family. The family who runs it is very friendly and helpful. The exercise room would be more useful with an exercise bike or treadmill. Continental breakfast had very limited healthy options and could benefit from plain oatmeal with some simple toppings. Everything was clean and is good working order, and is conveniently located. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again.

Convenient location. Clean & a continental breakfast provided. This is my 3rd visit here which have all been lovely however this visit we couldn’t get the TV channel to change. (No, I did not call the front desk about it) The continental breakfast desperately needs at least 1 protein.

Breakfast was minimal continental. Room was moderately clean. The mini fridge was so loud-even with the TV on-that we had to unplug it. The walls much not have much soundproofing because after trying to sleep by 10, the next room kept us up until 2 am with their loud TV and arguing.

Clean room, front desk and staff are super friendly, WiFi works well for my needs. Will stay again!

Light in bathroom was hanging by wires. The bulb socket in the stand light by bed was broken. There continental breakfast was toast and cold cereal. Other than that it was clean and confortable.

Love the convenience of the location. Loved the mattress on the bed and the spa tub IN the room. The fridge was so wobbly it startled me cause I thought it was going to fall over. The room wasn't cleaned very well. We found an open sugar/ straw packet with the coffee pot, a bottle cap on the floor, one of the couch cushions was stained and the back of the office chair was either dirty or pretty severely scratched up.

Room was clean. There was a roku TV that you could log into. It was relatively quiet. The continental breakfast had good muffins and their coffee wasnt terrible. Continental breakfast was very basic. You had an option of cereal, a coffee cake muffin, or eggo waffles. Most places have a waffle maker and mix. And some protein options.

It was clean and comfortable. Near where I needed to be. The man checking us in said I had only booked one room. I showed him my confirmation and he said I had to get a hold of booking.com! After being on the phone tweeting to get a hold of them. Who I believe to have been the man's son came out to tell us after 20 minutes that somehow it was there now! I was traveling with my 81 yr old mother, my daughter and two granddaughters from Pendleton to Newberg.

It was clean and affordable. It was also located close to plenty of restraunts. Its clearly an older property and its showing a bit of its age but it was clean and the service was helpful.

The rate for the room was nice. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The actual property could use some upkeep. My room was dirty I used Clorox wipes to clean the bathroom and all surfaces. I did not ask for a new room as they could be all the same. Water pressure was iffy. It could use some new furniture as it was very worn out.

Good location to our nearby wedding we were attending, bed was fine, parking was fine as well. The “included breakfast” consisted of frozen waffles and frozen breakfast sandwiches. Also not allowing the food to be taken upstairs was crazy. The breakfast did not have much and was not stored properly. They didn’t even have boiled eggs..

Was perfect ?

The place was spotless and the room was amazing. The bed was comfortable, there was a fridge and microwave, and it was quiet. It was more than what I'd expect in a little town. Loved it.

Get what you pay for. Rooms have been somewhat updated but have a smell that has been covered up with "freshener". We turned off the heat (in Dec) to open the window. Bed tended to taco with 2 people. Needs to be replaced.

Staff was GREAT! My room smelled like cigarette smoke. The refrigerator was very noisy, I had to unplug it to sleep and I had no hot water at 8:15am. My room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and I had good water pressure.

The reason I only stay in this particular hotel in Newberg, Oregon is that it has a hot tub and pool. The hot tub has always been up and running and clean and hot and the jets are very powerful.

The room was clean, the staff were very personable, the hot tub and pool were clean and in good order, the washer and dryer worked, it was easy to regulate the temp in the room, and the location was central and convenient.

They wouldnt let me cancel my reservations and kept all my money

The employee at the front desk was helpful and the pool looked clean so I thought I’d give it a shot. The room however lined run down and the windows on the first floor units didn’t have any reinforcements aside from a stick which wasn’t even long enough to securely lock the window.

Our room was not in good condition. Blankets were stained. Our room was by the back door and stairs and both had traffic late and early morning causing significant noise. The fan on the air conditioner was loud. Sounded like an airplane.

As a solo female traveler, I also felt unsafe in the location. The attendant offered me another room, but after noticing vomit on the welcome mat (I had only been there about 30 minutes at this point) as I left, I had already made my decision to leave the property altogether. I had prepaid for three nights, and while I did not expect a refund for that first night, I was told I should be refunded for the fun stay. I have not seen the refund, though I understand processing delays may be due to my bank's side of things and it now being the weekend. Overall, while the staff was polite, the state of the hotel itself made it impossible for me to stay.

The place is okay for a cheap place to sleep. Pretty old, no elevator, lackluster location. But the staff were very nice ~ efficient and friendly.

Taj and Shweta are delightful and so welcoming. The room was clean and well arranged. The pool is very nice.

It's a basic, budget motel in a slightly blighted area, from outward physical appearance. The inside is similar to the outside. It served the purpose.

Carpets in room were torn and towels were well worn. Staff was wonderful, but the location does not meet what we expect from a Wyndham location.

We extended our stay and the front desk clerk went out of his way to book our same room so we didn’t have to shuffle our items around.

The staff was friendly enough, but that did not make up for the overwhelming lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the (non smoking) rooms, the hard beds, and flat pillows. Our bathroom door had a bullet hole in it and cigarette burns on the phone next to the toilet. This place has not been updated since it was built in the 70’s. Disgusting. You could not pay me to stay there again.

Access to hotel from highway was in need of tidying and making more welcome. Initial views as we entered from the highway was...'what have we come to?', when the hotel was not that bad really. A better entrance may attract more visitors.

I stay here whenever I come in town to visit my daughter. The rooms are cozy and clean, the pool and spa facilities clean, and the free breakfast top notch.

An older establishment but kept in great condition and meticulously clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the host was wonderful and very approachable. Felt like family!

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was large and a bit outdated, but had all the required elements. Queen had large TV w/Roku, desk and minifridge. Clean and quiet. Continental breakfast had more variety than expected. Basic as I would expect at this pricepoint but no complaints.

The room that we stayed in, had an odd smell. It was so bad that I had to go ask for something to spray and they provide me a candle. That did not work. I was so bad that I almost left that night, but it was so late and I was so tired it almost smell like a fungal or mold, but to me it was like rotten broccoli.

This facility was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The room had the necessary fridge and microwave. The breakfast was the standard continental breakfast with coffee, juice, waffles, bagels, toast, cereals etc. Nice way to start the day. The next time I come to Newberg I'll be staying here again. Oh, and the staff were very friendly and cordial.

The motel itself was clean but nothing special. What I loved about the place was the staff. They were friendly, professional and seemed like good, decent people. I would go there again.

Stayed here 3 nights while wine tasting in Willamette Valley. Location is convenient to wineries, most 10-20 minutes distance by car. Hotel is dated and somewhat worn, yet clean and organized. The hotel is seemingly run by a family with all members pitching in to keep the hotel running. They are VERY nice and were helpful in several ways. For a low budget hotel, it was a good choice!

This is a solid value property.

Only issue we had was they were playing Fox News on the TV and we almost went somewhere else.

Checkin took 20 minutes and it was a walk up window at 9:20 pm.

lots of little things that used to be in an average room. shampoo, soap, single serve coffee and maker, plenty of towels, kleenex.. the one star comes from the staff running the place. they take a credit card on file and put a deposit hold equal to the price of the room for “incidentals”. a very common practice for any hotel/motel. they took the deposit and then reimbursed it when i checked out. then they charged $50 an hour later. no explanation, no notice, just a random $50 charge after returning the deposit and our business was done. a very obvious scam to rob me of $50. like anyone else, i was checking to make sure they gave me the deposit back. i almost missed the extra charge but i just happened to look regarding something different and saw the $50 charge. they do that in hopes that once you see your deposit returned, you won’t check again until you get your statement at the end of the month or even not at all if you don’t keep track. so by the time you notice, if you notice at all, you can’t really dispute it because you waited so long. i called them immediately and they said they have to wait for the person who made the charge to have an explanation for the charge, and that person won’t be back until the next day. uh huh. right. so i disputed the charge with my bank as fraud. it’s a slimy way for dishonest people to squeeze a bit more from you. and these people are the ones that do that. great room. thieves running the place.

For a modestly priced hotel, this one had everything necessary. Room was clean and spacious with a desk and senders surfaces on which to put belongings plus good sized dresser. No need to spend more.

When i got to property i was charged for room a second time

This hotel was everything I was looking for when I visited my family. Everything was spotless and everything worked; the staff was friendly; the bed was comfortable; the room was quiet. I’ll definitely stay here in my next trip to Newberg.

The latch lock was on when I tried to get into my room during my 2 day stay. The manager couldn't get the tool to work after 10 minutes, so had to saw off the lock. Stated that sometimes when the door shuts that the u latch lock closes. I've never had this happen anywhere before, and housekeeping was the last in my room. I appreciated they got it open quickly, but it was uncomfortable.

The hotel is clean and beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy. Over all a nice stay.

My room was perfect for my 3 night stay. It was equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a couch, coffee table, dresser etc. A USB charging port would have been nice, but I had one in my truck so I was OK.

We had a nice stay, the bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The room was a little outdated but still nice. The only complaint I had, although minor, was that the walls were thin, so it was easy to hear everything going on in hallway or next door. The continental breakfast was lacking any hot choices/protein, but nice if you wanted something quick.

Checked in late around 11:30. Felt bad but came from a concert in Portland. Gentleman was nice checking us in from the late hour side window. Parking was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend especially for the price we got. Only thing I would say was I found it hard to find the turnoff from the highway at night. Sign is low and hiding in bushes. Lots of morning coffee/breakfast options very close to the place. Would recommend easily

Amazing inexpensive property with outstanding service and cleanliness, cleaned my room daily without scheduling great continental breakfast with a ton of variety…. All in all I’m a choice hotel member ( I get a good value there) but nothing like the value I received from this Travelodge

The mens cologne air freshener through out the hotel is very powerful. Our bathroom and beds had visible hairs. Which housekeeping needs to be paying attention to detail better. The bed was not comfortable. Other than that we had a safe stay. The hot tub was a bonus. It was a pretty quiet hotel .The breakfast area was a nice option and stays available for quite a while. There is a bar and taco cart in the front parking lot for convenience.

This is an older and simple property but the mangers clearly care about the property and their guests - the cleanliness is evident. Breakfast is plentiful and they really do go out of their way to ensure their guests are looked after. Most mornings I was sent away with a bottle of water to ensure I wouldn’t be dehydrated by the host and one evening when I couldn’t get an Uber to my dinner destination the manager drove me himself. Lovely people
