Brick Lodge Atlanta/Norcross

Room was clean and bathroom appeared to be remodeled in recent past. My wife commented that bed was more comfortable than beds we have had at more expensive hotels.

We booked two rooms. One room had roaches. So they gave us another room and we checked that one and it had bedbugs. So since that one we went to go check the other one that they had gave us and that one as well had bedbugs. So two rooms had bedbugs and one room had roaches. We didn’t get a chance to see if that one had bedbugs.

Good cheap place to stay. I felt safe. It’s not a fancy property but if you want to save a few dollars it does the job.

Absolutely amazing and for the price, truly unbeatable! The staff were so kind, and even let me check in extra early when my travel plans got severely delayed and I missed my 1st night at another hotel and had been awake for over 24 hours. The rooms are also huge! The pictures do not do them justice. I was in a single king bed room and there was a steating area and full vanity with a floor length mirror. Given that i was there for a comicon and needed the space to store and put on cosplay, this couldnt have been better. The AC was also impressive given the temperatures outside though it was a bit loud so consider. That being said, the room was insulated impressively well and I honestly didnt have to turn it on all that often to keep the room cool. If I'm ever back in the Atlanta area, I will 100% be staying here again!

My fiancé and I have had really bad experiences in the past traveling with our Australian shepherd. He’s a very nervous pup and is terrified of stairs and elevators and just the sounds of people in general. That being said, our stay with this hotel was a dream! They gave us a ground level floor so that eliminated the having to carry our 80 pound dog up/down stairs or dragging him onto an elevator. You also cannot hear people in surrounding rooms whatsoever. Not a peep. Our dog was so peaceful sleeping in his bed while we were away and giving us his toys to play with him when we were around. Excellent hotel if you’re traveling with a dog! Thank you for having us and keeping an anxious doggy happy!

I checked in early because I arrived early then check-in time and the gentleman I talked to before I arrived the day before he told me early check in would be $30 extra. I called the next day when I did arrived and a gentleman told me I can check in at 12pm the room would be ready and he will give me a nice discount because it was early check in well when I checked they charged me $46 dollars for early check-in so it wasn't $30 dollars.

I have too say this is probably the cleanest room we have stayed in. Bed was very comfortable too. The absolute best. Will definitely stay at again next time we are in the area.

I cannot emphasize the appreciation and importance of a paid accommodation that delivers! The time, attention to details that many other places neglect but Guests see are key factors that won me over as a first impression. For the first time in a while I was able to simply enjoy my stay rather than resolve issues during my stay. Everything was immaculate, no complaints.

I have stayed three times and the first two stays were fine. My third stay will probably be my last. Someone close to my room had a dog that barked way too much and it made it hard to relax. The carpets need a very deep clean, even the lampshade on the bedside table was dirty. Some employees are friendly, some not so much. Its conveniently located and the price is reasonable but I probably won't stay again.

The place was worse than last time. There was definitely air freshener to cover the smell of mold. There was hair everywhere, including on the toilet seat.

Another thing I really appreciated was how quiet and peaceful the place is. The atmosphere felt safe and calm throughout my stay. For the price, it’s an excellent option if what you’re looking for is a comfortable place to sleep while spending most of your day out exploring the city. It offers great value without sacrificing cleanliness or peace. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable for what it is - a well priced hotel room. It was exactly what we needed after a long drive into town and attending a game at Truist Park. It wasn’t a bad drive to and from the ballpark and we were able to get cleaned up and get some sleep before heading out the next morning.

The Brick Lodge completely took me by surprise from the front desk staff to the cleanliness of the hotel and location. I will definitely use this hotel again when visiting family in Norcross. I should also note that my room on the third floor was very quiet.

Parking for trucks, staff was great, clean rooms and air conditioner works great for the 85 degree weather.

The heater went into a sleep mode showing no lights as if it was on, however it did function. We got in very late and parked in the back. It turned out fine but seemed creepy at the time. Room was GREAT and beds were comfortable.

I had absolutely no sleep… I was woken up at 8 AM by banging maybe construction, but it did not stop either day… I did not get the original room that I have chose but faculty and staff members were very kind and professional.

The bad: dated decor, I felt that bedding should be all white to show cleanliness and it was somewhat scratchy. Typical motel bathroom set up with the open vanity area and then a separate tub and toilet The ugly: Was there for two nights stay. Found a roach roaming the bathroom and babies the next day. Ok: informed the management about the " intruder" and seemed very concern and will be his exterminator. Offered to put me in another room.

I only stay here when I'm in town. I feel safe. The room is clean. I have never seen a bug. The shower pressure is amazing and the hot water is hot. There are plenty of channels to watch, the pool is clean, and the people that work there really are kind. The best part is they offer late checkout which I use quite frequently when I am flying.

We loved staying here! The staff was super friendly and everything was very clean and the property felt very safe. My parents traveled with us and when my mom told the front office lady how excited she was to be in Georgia for the first time, the lady upgraded her room for free which included a massage chair. My mom was SO happy, she couldnt stop talking about it. They dont have house keeping, which i actually preferred. We just asked the front desk if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying at this property, and honestly, that alone says a lot. I first stayed here two years ago and had a wonderful experience, which is exactly why I came back. Back then, I was traveling alone and felt a little nervous about safety and the location, so I asked the gentleman at check-in if everything would be okay. He reassured me, and he was absolutely right—I felt safe and had a great stay. Because of that experience, this time around I had zero hesitation about booking here again. I arrived late, around 10 PM, and the lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing—so welcoming, kind, and genuinely warm. She truly made my check-in and my entire stay even better, and I really want to highlight her because she deserves it. I also requested a late checkout until the 12 instead of the 11, and they had no issue accommodating that. This is hands down one of the most budget-friendly and safe hotels in the area, and the cleanliness is excellent. I even had an upgraded room with a massage chair, which was such a bonus after driving over five hours and then again after long days. Usually, people leave reviews when things go wrong and forget when things go right but this place deserves to be recognized. Last time I only left five stars and moved on, but this time I wanted people to really know how great it is. I love this hotel, I highly recommend it, and I will absolutely be back—6 stars out of 5.

Parking is simple,easy, heater reaches hells pitts it gets so hot as well as the water temp. It’s super clean . and get this the most important part is I don’t feel icky with crawling skin when I get out the shower from seeing hair strands laying on the floor was stuck in the towel. Yeah when I say clean, I mean clean I’m surprised this place is not $120 or more per night. I definitely love staying here and then the big fine man at Chik in makes the check in process so much more easier and simple

We heard gunshots the first night. We smelled marijuana in our room. Our ceiling had black in two areas. The guy at the front desk was super nice!

However, there were two inconveniences: my best friend's bed was hard on one side and like a deep sink on the other side. My bed was very hard all over; I was not looking forward to going to bed. For a person of my size, the room/bathroom were not spacious. Renovations needed.

I had a great experience, my only zonk is the burgundy duvet on my bed was dirty, the front desk didn't have any clean ones but the next day it was changed. And the carpet could use a good steam cleaning. As you walk around in white socks or barefoot you will quickly conclude the same. The motel smell from the uncleaned carpet is very thick. If that's not a deal breaker for you, make your reservation, I would stay here again. Quiet, overall clean, safe & polite staff, check-in starts at 4pm.

Best value for the money

This motel made my stomach turn. I felt so gross. I hate these days that motels are pretending to be hotels. Towels had stains. The soap was the cheap kind that dries your skin. Bed felt like the top cover/duvet has never been washed. Too afraid to even look under the covers. And somehow while showering, I felt even more gross. Thankfully I didn’t have to stay here more than 2 nights.

It’s okay to stay there, Upgraded version of old motel.

Rooms are clean and nice size

Everything was fine: clean room and linens. Bedbugs the next morning. Got bit. Caught the bedbugs, took one to the front desk to alert staff. Staff claimed it wasn’t a bedbug. It absolutely was a bedbug as I took the other captured bugs and confirmed with an exterminator before I went home. I didn’t want any money back or anything because the stay was fine throughout the night. Just want to let staff know so it could be taken care of.

Terrible hotel. It was cheap, but I doubt this hotel genuinely has an 8.8 rating. I will never stay here again. The hotel is old, not clean, and I felt unsafe.

We had 2 rooms and both were in really good condition (128/130). Grandparents thru age 6 Family trip to Stone Mountain for 3 nights. Nice surprise! Location is right by all fast food restaurants and not far from Walmart. Traveling with little ones I like these options close by. Sheets were clean and bed was soft. Small couch had a stain. The water was hot but there was some mold on the bathroom ceiling. Get what you pay for.

I am making this review based on the price that I paid, which I felt was very, very on point with the property. I felt safe as a single, female traveler and, other than a couple issues (1 that I have with ANY hotel these days: carpet! EWWWW!!!) and the room feeling "wet" the first night, I was very comfortable and will definitely stay again. The desk clerk that checked me in was quite the surprise ;-), too. I feel overall it was a good return on my investment and it will be my choice when I return again soon.

Older property but very well maintained. Cleaner than some of the big chain hotels

The room seemed wet. The air conditioning would not extract the moisture from the air. The dampness made it uncomfortable to sleep. The towels would not dry. The clerk in the front office was very personable. The location was near the places we wanted to visit.

Staff very nice and quiet

The property and room was pretty clean but it was also damp and funky smelling I couldn't wait to get out of there. I honestly think it was the bedding and the carpet. They are only taking the white sheets off the beds and leaving those nasty blankets on. Let's not forget that they do allow filthy animals. I watched the housekeeper clean the room next door and the only thing she removed was the sheets and towels. Just disgusting! You just don't know who you're sleeping after. I won't go back

I wish the staff would have been a little more friendlier. The front desk staff was friendly but the staff that worked really wasn't as friendly and I just wish the rooms were just a little bit cleaner. They weren't bad but they could have been a little cleaner overall stay. I was pleased.

The room was clean and comfortable. I am allergic to dust and I did not have an allergic reaction the whole time I stayed here. The accessible room could definitely be redone. I was able to get in the bathroom. However, the tub was very slim for my shower chair. While in the room, we couldn’t close the bathroom door due to limited space. I did like the fact that there were lots of ramps. Overall, it was a good stay. I would stay here again.

I have been a steady customer of Brick Lodge for 9+ years. Everyone and everything is exceptional. This is the ONLY hotel I stay at when I'm in town. The staff is great and the room is what I expect every single time I'm there. Got to love consistency. Keep up the great work Brick Lodge!!

It was worth the $ though

Every thing was great. Only complaint was the towels were a little worn and not very absorbent but everything was clean and it was great to stay and rest after a long day of driving.

The pool, bed, TV, shower, and room were all above average.

Hotel was clean and felt safe, especially at the price point!

Staffs are professional, courteous, and friendly. Room for is not as big as I would like but it is big enough to walk around between the beds. Large shopping district is only few miles away via I-85. Even in the rush hours most restaurants and diverse choices of mega supermarkets are within 10-15 minutes of driving.

Clean & Reasonably priced.

The manager was mean and rude . I came back late for checkout and I spoke with one of the cleaning ladies I told her give me a few I have to clean up my mess and cosmetics (I had my nail/makeup clients come to the room for services) I spoke with someone and apologized I’d gather my belongings and hurry out because I was late coming back to room. Eventually the manager comes to the room and is instantly sassy , I ignored him and assured him I’d hurry. He kept rushing me and saying things like we don’t do business like this hurry up and go he kept trying to provoke me into responding to him but I didn’t i apologized and moved quickly I understood the frustration but he was just foul to me . As im packing my belongings into my car he says hurry up you know you’re not welcome back here anymore and said more provoking things , I simply said this hotel wasn’t what I expected in the first place and I didn’t sleep here I didn’t want too but I just want to hurry up please I’m not going back and forth about this sir. My belongings fell into the concrete and rolled away he goes I’m not touching a thing I didn’t ask him so I gathered what fell into a puddle on the ground he begins to say can you please grab this stuff now and leave it was only a tiny box with my tea and half and half creamer left in there in the bed ready to grab once I was finished because I dropped all of my toiletries in hurry ,in the midst of this he says I’m going to call police for criminal trespassing and leaves.

It was a clean room very basic. The air condioning was very cold which was great, and the black out curtains gave me a good night sleep. It was sketchy, no lobby, no elevator, no maid service, the bath towels were terrible and the air freshner in the room the first night was over powering. I think they have long term residents as there were bolted down picnic tables and small hibachi grills. It was great for one or two nights, but just sketchy. Decent neighborhood.

The front desk worker was very helpful and polite. Room was clean and comfortable. There was a significant leak on the hose for the shower head.

The staff was awesome: helpful, friendly and always available. The rooms were the best budget friendly rooms we’ve ever stayed in. They were spacious and CLEAN with plenty of light and outlets. We had plenty of towels. The pool was nice. We are a family of four who road trip every summer. This was probably our favorite hotel on a road trip ever. Thanks so much we had a great time!

Nothing to complain. Nice place, safe and clean. Located on a commercial area with a lot of amenities. We found the larger Mandir of this kind (Hindu temple) outside of India near the hotel. It was very impressive. We were not expecting this in Atlanta nor in the Lilburn area.

Stayed in a non-smoking room and there was cigarette holes in the comforter. The front lobby door is locked, I'm guessing this wasn't a safe area. I chose this hotel because it had good reviews and a affordable price. I should of know it was too good to be true.

The employees were very nice and the hotel is very affordable It in a very good location as well, about a 25/30 minute drive from the Georgia Aquarium (minus traffic) Will be staying here again when I visit back home next year!

I stay here every time .. never a disappointment

I really enjoyed my one-night stay, I would come here again if I were in the area. The staff were all friendly, the ambience was peaceful, everything felt good, and I rested well. I enjoyed the kids playing in the pool while their parents watched from shaded tables. The bed was not too soft or hard, just right. Goldilocks would agree.

Our room was quite large with a very comfortable king bed. Everything was adequate though not fancy. It was very quiet and I felt safe, two factors when finding a motel, especially as economical as this. I'd definitely stay here again.

Good area for shopping and other leisure activities. Rooms are nice and clean, with a pretty big television. Front desk staff are very respectful and do a good job. I haved booked here a few times and will be returning.
