The water heater broke on a morning and wasn’t fixed for around 2 hours and the manager wasn’t around.

Wish there were grab bars for the tub. The lighting in the bathroom was bad. Since light was only overhead, your face is totally in shadow when applying makeup. Overall it was really good and we would come again.

A construction truck full of a work crew … almost side swiped my car in the parking lot. I had to run out and yell. They were just checking on rooms for the night. But, work trucks should have to park in the back lot. They are too big for the spaces on the ground floor near doors. Thank you!

The room was nice and the staff was friendly however, the fire alarm went off all night. ALL….. NIGHT…… LONG…… I addressed my concerns with the front desk employee. He was friendly and apologized. He informed me that a manager would be contacting me to discuss a room credit. I have not been contacted. I won’t be staying again.

The rooms are cleaned only every other day and it’s not automatic. You have to go to the front desk and request it, which I did after 2 days, and I noted it being written down. Entered the room that evening around 9 pm to find that nothing had been done. We had to go get towels ourselves as everything was on the floor waiting for the clean.

We checked in late like 2AM then they have table clock in the room that started to alarmed at 6am and every 30 minutes after until 9 Am it was terrible we did not get enough sleep.

Free parking is such a win for Hollywood/LA!! - clean basic room, no frills - I was concerned there would be pests because some of the reviews on Trip Advisor, but I had no issues (and to be fair, I travel with disinfectant and bug spray always) I felt safe as a solo traveler as there are a ton of cameras on the property. There was some glitch with my online, pre-check-in as I was getting notifications multiple times in the day, but once I arrived in person it was worked out. Solid choice and close to the freeway and food spots.

Didn’t even get through the door. The franchise owners didn’t put any effort into disclosing their specific stipulations on specific cards they don’t take. They suddenly tried to surprise me with a $200 deposit because they somehow don’t take any specific bank visa credit card, even though it’s FDIC insured and everything. Money is money, and credit is credit. That $200 is nearly double what it cost me to book my stay and is absolutely absurd. They ruined my entire weekend with these surprise policies that were not disclosed prior to booking on the hotels app. That is unacceptable and in my opinion, very shady.

It was base adequate, staff was kind and room very clean but, the shower barely worked, the breakfast was no good and the coffee maker didn’t work.

The stay was fine, the room was fine, but the neighborhood was pretty rundown. Still though, no issues with the stay. I would definitely stay here again for the price. I just recommend driving when going out for food.

I had a most unpleasant stay. The room had a terrible rancid odor, no thermostat, no bathroom heater and no USB ports. The blow dryer was not working. The remote control was very difficult to use. There was a half roll of bathroom tissue and no extra roll, as well as a half empty box of tissues with no extra box. I was very unhappy with my experience.

You'll be more stressed when you will stay here. First, they want cash deposit. So I went to 2 nearby liquor store but there's no ATM machine. So went to a nearby bank that half mile just to withdraw the $200 cash deposit. Secondly, when I checked my debit card transactions, they charged me 2x.So it's a hassle to call my bank and file a dispute.

The pre-check in was too long. An ID should have been the only thing required to receive the key. There computer system was extremely slow or the clerk wasn’t trained properly.

Stuff was alright, not the most friendliness. There were lots of upkeeping such as leaking sink faucet where water splashing when turning on the faucet.

Walls are thin, sheets were itchy, room tv remote very hard to operate. Room was clean, but man i dont wanna live that way.

The only thing we struggled with was a weird noise the mini fridge made out of the sudden every 2-3 hours, it was uncomfortable during sleeping hours. Other than that everything was perfect! 12 minutes to Universal Studios and price was great!

Room was nice and staff was helpful. Did not care for the outside light that went through the shutters in the room. Made sleeping not so great. A simple curtain could've blocked out the sun.

I only have a debit card. It can be run as a credit card but the person at the desk said it was the policy to only use a credit card or I could give them 200.00 in cash. Never have I had this problem so I left. Now I would like a full refund. I tried to contact Expedia but I couldn't type in the itinerary number because it contained letters and only the number screen came up.

Property is okay, some of the rooms can do some upgrades. The front desk workers are welcoming. Breakfast is continental until 10am the food items are basic as in continental breakfast the good thing is there’s a toaster, juice fountain & coffee machine. Chairs in the lobby area are old but overall the location is quite & clean. THE BAD PART IS HOUSE KEEPING COME KNOCKING AT THE DOOR AS EARLY AS 8am ASKING IF YOU’RE CHECKING OUT, I was so mad 1 morning when she did that she apologized and told me to place the THE DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON THE DOOR. So please remember to place the sign or they will be knocking on your door early morning.

Very clean hotel

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but perfectly adequate. The check in was kind of annoying because I did things online before I left (to save time when I actually got there) but basically had to do them all over again in person. I paid in advance for three nights but only needed two. When I checked out, I paid an early check out fee and was told I could be reimbursed for the third night but I would have to get it from the agency I booked with (Expedia) but I haven't seen the reimbursement yet. If I don't get it, I will have paid for early check out AND the night I didn't stay there. Hoping this get resolved soon.

While this claims to be a smoke free facility, there were still the lingering smell of smoke in stairwells and in our room. This was a situating that you get what you pay for. Bought the ticket at a discount and got a discount sleep. As a reminder, Visa Debit is not the same as Visa Credit. When you try to check in don't bother using the online checking, they will still manually check you in and if your card is a Visa debit it will not be accepted.

I got to my room at 7 PM. After we ordering food, I was tired. I fell asleep around 1 AM, but then the fire alarm goes on. I started to panic and went outside, but there was nothing wrong. I called the receptionist, and he said everything was fine and that someone taking a shower had the alarm on. After that, the alarm was constantly ringing all night. We couldn't sleep or get any rest, and nobody refunded us. This hotel is a scam. The staff is horrible, and the room was not as clean as expected. Please avoid this place.

The area of the San Fernando Valley surrounding the motel pretty rough, old, and tired. Lots of traffic, too.

I was not aware of the $200 deposit required, despite how many times I looked at all the details provided on Expedia, nor did I have a credit card for the deposit, luckily they accepted cash for it. The bed sheet seemed to have something brown crusted onto it, but seeing as it was almost 2am when it was noticed, I was too tired to bring it up to the front desk. Decent amount of parking and other than those small details, it was an ok place to stay for the night. Did not take advantage of the morning breakfast.

There was an incredible amount of noise during the night—I didn’t get any sleep at all. First, the AC was loud, then the trash truck came, followed by cars constantly coming and going, and people talking outside. It was just a terrible night in terms of rest. That said, the room and the property were very clean and pleasant overall.

This was the worst. Called ahead to both hotels.com and the hotel itself was told no deposit. When we got there the guy changed his mind and said there is a $200 deposit. Needless to say despite having already paid for the room, we weren't able to stay here. They stole the money I used to pay for our room, since it was a gift card for our anniversary I guess they stole our anniversary gift then and left us outside with no car for the entire night. We had a horrible time and the staff wasn't apologetic or reasonable in any way and actually argued with me that he wouldn't rent the room out to me anyway.

The staff are great it's clean and a good deal. Perfect if you want to walk to liquor stores pawn shops dispensaries and smoke shops. I can not figure out why so many women in tiny outfits like standing on the street corners here but they do. Parking is unsafe although it seems that it would be as the lot is enclosed within the facility but without a gate. There are cameras but that does not bring back my lost items.

Clean great people work here but the neighborhood is rather rough with weedshops stripclubs and pawnshops scattered amongst liquor stores. Parking is within the courtyard but I did have something stolen from my car parked in the courtyard tho.

I loved the continental breakfast items. They also had staff ready to help. My son accidentally spilled his hot chocolate. They cleaned it up fast and cheerfully. She didn’t want to accept my tip. The only thing negative is that the stairwells smelled bad. Like garbage and weed. We stayed a couple days and it was a constant smell.

1 floor was broken in my room which just bothered me so much and it popped out on the edges like if it endured a lot of water for a long period of time, I had my 1 year old son with me and found a brown recluse in the room, the room was clean but the floor was a major deal breaker for me, I stayed at the Wyndham in Alhambra obviously a lot nicer they didn’t require a deposit, here they charge $200 to $300 deposit and the rooms aren’t worth that deposit honestly the area is ugly I wouldn’t have got it there if I did more research but it was a very last minute decision.

Around midnight, someone started knocking—not a polite knock, either. The kind of knock that makes you start texting your location to your loved ones. The balcony outside sounded like a scene from The Purge, and I was on the second floor with one sketchy exit and no fire escape in sight. The ants and other bugs in my room turned out to be my favorite neighbors. Bonus points for the lights flickering like I summoned something every time I walked past the bathroom. To their credit, the bed existed. That’s about it. If you enjoy adrenaline-fueled insomnia and wondering if you’ll make it to morning, this place is a 10/10 experience. Otherwise? Run.

The hotel was fine in itself. Stayed 2 nights got my room cleaned 2nd day. My only complaint was that hotel management was charging $200 cash for incidentals. I let them know that this was not stated on the website. The front office person told me that they didn't accept debit cards with visa logo. But when I checked out and waited for staff to check my room, to get my $200 back. The register was opened and there were, what seemed to me many small envelopes with cash deposits. So, were they charging everyone $200 cash for incidentals? Very disappointed and unsettled that this hotel can have these practices with no one questioning why.

Usually, I have a very good stay, but this time it was horrible not because of the cleanliness not because of the staff because of the new air fresheners they bought it’s a cinnamon smell. I am allergic to cinnamon. My steak was already paid for I have no choice but to stay I had a horrible migraine, sneezing all day stuffy nose. This is brand new because I’ve been staying for about seven months on and off but other than that this is a wonderful place to stay. Staff is very friendly very nice. Very welcoming rooms are very clean. I’ve never had any problems except for this.

Parking was a bit of a challenge...small spaces for small cars...and limited spaces available. Located in an industrial area, but close to the hwy.
