The staff was very nice , but the picture online showed a stove top and there was none . The bathroom outlet worked once and that was it . And the WiFi didnt work well . But the staff made sure I had what was needed and very polite . I had called to make the checkout noon instead the lady was nice and said okay . I can take care of that .

It was convenient to get into from multiple roads and directions, is easy location to get to the attractions available… I was disappointed that there was no first floor availability even though it was not busy, also my room was exactly in the middle of the building, so I had to wait to either end to go up or down.

Convenient location for our purpose. Enjoyed hot breakfast. Quick check- in and check-out process. Very reasonable rates. Friendly staff. The only down side was the sand on the floor in the room - but it is a beach location so a little is to be expected. Otherwise the room was spotless.

The room was very clean, the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was good, and coffee all day long was a plus. The staff went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. Would definitely stay here again.

On February 20, when I made the reservation, I asked if I could please have a 1st floor room. I never received a response. When I checked in last Thursday, Samuel at the front desk, who was very nice, looked up my reservation and said there was a note to charge me $10 per night. I inquired what was the charge for and Samuel told me from switching from a second floor to a first floor. That’s when I looked up my reservation and saw that after I inquired about switching to a first floor room, I never received a response. If they had told me it would be $10 per night. I would’ve said fine, but since they did not, as a matter of principal, I declined and stayed on the second floor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower could use a little work. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

Everything was wonderful

Check is at 3 pm. Not 2:58. No questions asked. Prepare to smell pot everywhere. In the hallways, parking lot. Breakfast was ok. Pool was small, not gonna stay there again. Photoea and description does this place more justice than it should have.

The hotel itself can definitely use some upgrades, the breakfast is horrible no fresh fruit, coffee not great the standard waffle that you make yourself no toppings other than syrup. Eggs looked to be powdered eggs although I am pescatarian and don’t eat sausage others traveled with me did and it appeared not done was not browned…only pork option. I did have an issue. The last two nights one was a noise complaint of two individuals fighting in their room and in the hallway, although others walked by, as if they were scared they never stopped at the front desk to complain. I did otherwise and calm down the front desk took care of it right away as I said the staff was great. The next issue was that evening I walked out of my room to a man slumped down on the floor sleep startled me. I don’t know if he even belonged at the hotel the front desk also took care of that issue right away as I had to teenage girls. My daughters with me and I would have hated for them to come back to the room and this man to be sitting outside of my room on the side. The pool can use some updating also as a suggestion to put a couch inside of the rooms rather than the little round table with two chairs for seating as the rooms are big enough for a little love seat . The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. I was able to try to use it as a white noise to fall asleep too, though.

Rooms were basic and had metal chairs at the room eating area. The buffet was basic. They were clear that there was not an elevator to get to the upper floor. The staff was friendly and this was a good value for the price.

Front desk clerk made multiple errors with my check in process including attempting to charge my card MULTIPLE times for a holding fee but having an error on her end! Clearly she needed help but no one was there to assist. Rooms were clean but VERY outdated and bland, almost like jail cells. Bathroom shower was weak and water was only warm. I was there 3 days and not one time did I see house keeping. Breakfast was very minimum. Had to ask for sausage to be put out even tho it was on the menu. I don't plan on spending money with this hotel ever again, I was very unsatisfied.

Bed was comfortable and room was freshly cleaned and smelled great. Breakfast was great as well, they had totally drinkable coffee that was actually good and kept the scrambled eggs coming as needed.

We couldn't use the air conditioner because it was so noisy. The bathroom fan sounded like it was ready fall out of the ceiling. Every time somebody left their room or went back in the door slammed. Very noisy.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights. We were Welcomed by Joseph at the front desk. He was very welcoming and courteous. All the amenities were thoroughly explained, breakfast, the pool, the ice and vending machines, and the around the clock coffee machines. We were originally to be on the 2nd floor, since there are no elevators and that we had a weeks worth of luggage we were then accomadated to be on the first floor with convenient access to our vehicle.

The area is busy and very pretty. Brittany at check in was AMAZING and a real asset to your establishment

overpriced and not clean

The hotel is a rather old property, low ceilings. Room smelled liked mold. I only booked one night and if I had to stay there longer, I would have asked for a refund and left because the smell when you enter the room is overpowering. Not sure where the 8/10 stars came from on Expedia. I kind of feel like I got cheated, but hey, it happens.

The hotel served its purpose. We needed to stay somewhere an extra day for our flight home. The bathroom shower wall was broken and patched several times. The room was clean. The attendant at the front desk when we arrived was nice. The breakfast in the morning was not great. The waffle machines did not have spray to keep the batter from sticking and it was a mess, there was a container for sausage but they did not fill it. When we left the attendant did not come to the desk and ask if we wanted a receipt. He just shouted across the room to leave the keys on the counter (there was a pile of them there). We did not check out the pool at all.

The property was not the cleanest on the outside. We checked in, went to the room. It had an overwhelming smell of bleach. I sat on the bed and looked up. There were black marks all around the ceiling. It appeared like mold that had been painted over but not well.. i booked another room at a different hotel. I did not get a refund.

The room we stayed in was older. The hotel is trying to upgrade its spaces, but our room still had a old/bad odor despite some of the upgrades. The shower surround had been cracked from top to bottom and was repaired with some messy caulk. Hotel was was on the lower price range for the area and that was appreciated. The Baymont served it's purpose and was ok for a night's stay. Hopefully they will keep improving. The staff was nice.

This place is nothing fancy but it is clean and met all of our basic needs including the complimentary breakfast. The staff, especially at the front desk are the nicest people, especially the little tiny lady, never did get her name. She was exceptionally sweet.

I booked this room because we needed a room for one night before we could check into our hotel for the week. It looks clean from the pictures and the reviews were decent. When we got there we could tell it was not renovated and very rundown. It has a very musty smell, possibly smoke, although they do say their smoke free.

Avoid if at all possible.

Later, I managed to have the deposit amount ready, but then they informed me that they do not accept guests who live within a 50-mile radius, a policy that is not disclosed anywhere on their website. They followed up by stating they would allow me to stay only if I paid a $1,000 deposit, claiming this was a favor to me. Additionally, before leaving the hotel, I noticed there was waste in the pool, which was quite concerning. In hindsight, I am relieved it worked out this way, as I can only imagine the lack of cleanliness in the accommodations. They should be ashamed of how they handle their guests.

Very clean hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. I stayed Monday through Friday. We had to ask for housekeeping after two days because the garbages were full and we needed clean towels. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was simple, but enjoyable. My only complaint was that the bed was extremely hard.

Beds bugs

The room was pretty spartan. Lots of hairs on the bathroom floors and bathtub but linens were clean. When the reviews say breakfast was non existent, I expected a limited offering but legitimately we went downstairs and there was no food ant all except crumbs. Hot waffle irons but no batter or toppings. Coffee was instant mix machine. I’m not mad because we didn’t spend a lot of money there and it was clean enough. We took the money we saved on the room and went to breakfast but if you book expecting hot food or a long stay, maybe just know these things.

Even thought they renovated, they charged too much for the mediocraty of the renovation. They had small, cheap, uncomfortable table and chairs in room. Too small for the room itself. Shower had last person who stayed in rooms hair all over shower and their charging $230 a night? Unacceptable just not a nice enough hotel to be charging those rates. The people were nice but just not enough for price becz in this day and age $$ is paramount.

Easy check in, because I already checked in online. The front desk clerk was very nice and had to reset the tv, because the previous occupant used the wifi for Netflix. Looks relatively new, no complaints.

Everything was perfect!

The property was clean and all staff that we encountered were extremely polite. Breakfast was nice and plenty of room to sit and enjoy. The only problem we had was the bathtub, they need to have some texture on the bottom, I slipped in the shower and where I caught myself from falling I still have a massive bruise on my thigh where I landed on the side of the tub.

Two concerns are the thinness of the room walls (you can hear everything going on outside and neighboring rooms. The breakfast is very limited, only warm powered eggs and sausage patties, both were bland tasting. However the desk agent was very attentive to all guests in the area to assist as best he was able... with drinks, condiments and operating the waffle press. A+ assistance and attitude.

Air conditioning from second floor drips condensation to the top of the air conditioner on the floor directly below. The lower AC units have rust on the top. Drops hitting the lower units cause a tapping noise all night. Had to go outside and put a room towel un our unit the stop the noise but not the leaking
