Reviews
The hotel has a great location, with many guests appreciating the proximity to the beach and local amenities. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with some guests praising the spaciousness and amenities such as kitchenettes and washing machines. However, the check-in process is a major point of contention, with many guests expressing frustration at having to check in at a different location. The quality of the beds and pillows is also a common complaint.

Amenities were good. Located on beach. The check-in process was inconvenient for disabled. Had to check-in/out at one place then drive to another place to stay and then drive to yet another location for parking. No one to help with luggage. It was also a sales pitch for timeshare from the beginning.

Beach access and amenities were better than expected. Room had all necessities. Easy access to beach and parking. Restaurants were within walking distance along with groceries and shops. Nice location and beautiful beach. The check-in process was a joke, sent us to the Prince hotel which seemed over-crowded and NO signs on how to get to the check-in area, once found and checked in, they tried signing us up for time share videos after driving 13 hours to get there. Upon arrival at the Towers, had to go to lobby for wi-fi access, they had no record of us and upon arriving at our room, found out the Prince hotel wrote wrong room number and had to spend another 30 minutes contacting them to get our correct room number. Room was outdated. Entry of hotel smelled like sewage. What a fiasco!! Shame on them!

I loved being right on the beach, a grocery store was a block away, several restaurants within a few blocks, and the parking garage was right across the street. I was very disappointed that we were in towers on the grove rather than the building we were in a few years ago when we went. The hot tubs were just extra warm mini pools with a row of jets near the top of the water line that only stayed on for 15 mins at a time and a cement bench lining them. It wasn’t like the hot tubs at the other tower that you could completely submerge yourself in and have a bunch of jets ease your aching muscles after the ten hour drive. The pool and lazy river area was ok but again, not nearly as relaxing as the ones we stayed at before. There was a water slide and stuff that would be great for young kids/families but i specifically wanted the other towers and i was unaware that there were now several! I had to check in at a completely different building than the one we were staying at or the one I had been to previously. It was ridiculous. Several things in the suite didn’t work properly but nothing that was a bother, we had to go out and buy mattress toppers though because the beds were SO FIRM that we were in agony by the second day.

It being right on the beach made it the best. A couple of things needed attention, such as the stopper in the sink would not stay open. Also, there was a problem with the water pressure at times. Overall, it was pretty nice.

I had to check in at the sister property a mile down the road, which is absolutely fine. Everyone there was polite at the prince got my card with an amenity thing. Was excited to use the gym in the hot tub.. when I went to the gym at to Hrs on the Grove . My card wouldn’t work so I went to the front desk.. she was Kurt and looked up at me and said you have to use the one at the print you can’t use ours here. WHAT? I can’t use the amenities at the hotel that I paid to stay in and she was not budging.
- 5/5
Off-season, clean, good staff, convenient, and a very good place to stay.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. The location of the property was great! Didn't like having to travel to a different site to check in.
- 4/5
I needed to find a place for family to stay overnight since we had a sick person in our household. The unit was spacious and comfortable w/a stunning view of the ocean. The only downside was check-in. You had to go to a different building, and their "pet friendly" policy is limited to service animals. Don't advertise they have a pet friendly policy if only service animals are allowed.

The lock pad was broken and unable to be fixed. Also, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever been in with pillows like rocks. there was garbage on the floor no lights on the balcony.

It was very confusing being a guest of The Prince Hotel but staying at Towers on the Grove. The lady at the Prince that checked us in, didn’t tell us that our keys to the room wouldn’t get us in the actual hotel. Nor did she tell us that we were supposed to park somewhere other than the deck. Everything worked itself out. Our closet door was broken and I tried to call and call and call that night. Just to let them know about it. It wasn’t a big deal I just didn’t want to be charged. I never could get through till the next morning. Just not very put together
- 5/5
Easy check in, room is very clean, property is excellent, really good location, right on the beach
- 5/5
I enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were friendly. Alarm went off at eleven o'clock at night for an immediate evacuation so after getting partially down from seventeenth floor was advised by another guest it was a false alarm. Would like to had more communication about this incident...why it happened. Disrupted a good nights sleep.
- 4/5
Great place to stay but unhappy with the check-in process. Had to drive 0.6 miles away to another location to get checked in. Also check in process was very slow there
- 3/5
I was surprised that I had to go to a different location to check into the room. I wish I had known that in advance. Thank goodness our taxi driver was still there so he could take us down the road to check in and bring us back! When we got to the room the toilet was running and I had to fix it on two times during the stay. The television in the bedroom did not work. We called and found out that we had to call the location we checked into to address the issue. We chose not to deal with it. The room was very clean. The door to the balcony was a challenge to open and close.
- 2/5
We were shocked to see the bed - it was terrible looking! Considered leaving to find another place for the night but having paid over $100 for the room and being totally exhausted we did sleep there.
- 4/5
I chose this site because of its location allowing for oceanfront and walking to stores, restaurants and other attractions.
- 5/5
I thought the pool guy was very helpful and informative. He also was a very hard worker and we were very impressed. We also really liked the amenity area with hammock, etc.
- 4/5
Quiet and clean
- 2/5
Ocean front Convenient to necessary resources. Grocery store gift shops ABC store restaurants. All within one block
- 1/5
Nice pool hot tub amenities, but terrible service.
- 5/5
It was a wonderful experience. The room had a full kitchen, separate sitting room, and balcony overlooking the sea. They also had great events each day. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
- 5/5
The room was perfect. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to keep us safe.
- 3/5
The room was hot the whole time. Turned air down to 66 and it never got below 74. The room overall was very nice and clean. You stay at one place but check in at another. If you have problems they had to call the other place.
- 5/5
Check in was differnt but hotel was nice and happy with the pool and things for kids to do
- 4/5
The only negative was check in at different hotel and the walk to condo from parking
- 4/5
I liked the location and the hot tubs. I did not like you had to contact an off sight desk for room support.
- 5/5
A very pleasant surprise as this place was amazing for the low off season price. Fully supplied suite was comfortable, quiet and so close to the beach.
- 4/5
The towers had great pools and wonderful staff. The check in was a little confusing at first but was easy after I asked friendly staff about the process. Would stay here again if in north Myrtle.
- 5/5
Location of the property was excellent and pool area was fun
- 4/5
I had to check in at another hotel which was ridiculous. I didn't get any room service because of this. Which also was ridiculous...
- 5/5
On the beach and close to stores and restaurants. Would stay again.
- 2/5
Not very clean. Hasn’t been updated in years. Holes in walls, dirty linens, just kinda gross overall for $500 night property
- 3/5
I liked all the pools and easy access to the beach
- 3/5
I did not like having an extra charge when I checked in. Very confusing, wanted to start the vacation without issues. Paid the extra amount. still do not understand why. Some line about the 90.00 plus amount not being paid for when set up reservation with Expedia. Room was nice. Really after check in never worked with any staff. Did not like going to check in at your other location then driving back to our actual room site. Why that had to occur IS BEYOUND ME. Room was clean. liked having washer and dryer available. enjoyed balcony. Pool and outside areas kept up well. garage parking worked well. Your gentlemen who worked in your drop off were very helpful.
- 4/5
If the interior of the property were as nice as the exterior it would be great! For the property to be as young as it is the rooms seem a little run down. Mattresses are very wobbly & uncomfortable. Paint discoloration (lines down walls) in bathroom from steam running down the walls looks really bad. Need to invest in better ventilation or repaint. Our room was clean, but just looked run down. Also, because we booked our reservation on Expedia we had to drive down to Prince resort just to check in and then back to Towers. This is a big headache.
- 4/5
I don’t like to park and have to walk across the street.
- 4/5
Our room was very clean. Plenty of towels etc. Kitchen area fully stocked. Not the most comfortable bed/ pillows, but certainly not the worst. Nice pool area. Great location. Every person that worked there made a point to ask how we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything they could do for us. Great customer service! Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the separate sitting room with access to the balcony overlooking the beach.
- 5/5
Super clean and staff professional and very diligent and helpful
- 4/5
Hated to have to check in somewhere else & park across the street
- 3/5
confusing check in. You don't do it at this property, and people at front desk can't perform check either...it's 1.5 miles down the road at another property where you actually get your room keys. room was clean, however, one of the lamps wasn't plugged in...when i plugged it in, it had a short and blew the bulb...then when i went to unplug it...the whole receptical came out of the wall. also, every drain...sinks, bath, etc. had the slowest drains...couldn't hardly drain the tube after taking a shower. overall good place, but rooms need some work and the check in process sucks...so much so, i didn't even want to have to deal with whatever process they have to get/exchange a room. Not going back, wouldn't recommend.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in great location!!! Very quiet neighborhood and although we did not use the pool hot tub or lazy river.
- 4/5
Good experience at this resort. It was quiet and our room was on the 16th floor. We have stayed at this resort a few times and are happy with the amenities and rooms are kept clean.
- 4/5
it was a good safe place me and my girlfriend enjoy being on the 16th floor wish we had a oceanfront you but other than that it was a good stay
- 5/5
Really enjoyed our stay at The Towers! Clean room & courteous staff!
- 5/5
Loved it. The only thing I didnt like was checking in at another hotel 1st. Not very convenient. And one of the lamp shades looked was really messed up. But my overall stay was great.

A very comfortable stay with a great view.

Very nice location and staff. Unit was roomy and well equipped.
- 4/5
Great location and view. Convenient, clean and updated.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff and clean room
- 4/5
I love the stay and the property and the only thing the keys was a promblem.
- 3/5
Check in was terrible Keys did not work someone from another Wyndham resort had to help
- 4/5
Did not get to use the pool facilities much of the time because of scattered thunderstorms . Had problems w room keys which was very annoying but the quick response of staff to arrive w new keys was appreciated. Also noticed a strong marijuana smell while standing in the kitchen...from the room across the hall!!! Room 1120 I think. Wish you could at least furnish a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Didn’t like the corner balcony. Can’t see!!! All else was fine.
- 4/5
Great location. We did have a problem with the key/door. Had to wait on gentleman from Prince to come down. He had to replace entire lock/doorknob. Just a slight inconvenience for a day but we love the location
- 5/5
I did not expect this hotel to be as nice as it was. The staff was very happy and friendly. The pools and lazy river was clean. The free DVD rental was nice and it had recent movies. Really family friendly place. Room was clean and fully stocked. I really have nothing bad to say about this place.
- 2/5
During my stay Memorial day weekend the hotel was being painted which is good but why on such a popular week? I was told I would get an ocean view room and a free excursion on expedia but everyone at the hotel and expedia gave me the run around until I gave up. Resort fee is overpriced for no reason unless you have kids dont stay here fee not worth it. Area is very quiet at night the real action is a 30+ minute drive. Bed was very uncomfortable this is the only hotel where I actually prefer my bed at home. Bed felt like a pull out sofa mattress. Staff were very polite and tried to make stay best possible. Just not an ideal place for me but I guess you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Very nice property and in great condition
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay
- 5/5
The staff is more than helpful and friendly. The only way i could be happier with our experience is if we got to stay longer.
- 5/5
Had nice room and staff was wonderful!!! Always a nice time at The Towers!!!
- 3/5
Tv only had one channel. Tub didnt work and i ask for a beach front room i didn't get it.
- 5/5
The unit we rented was not owned by the towers. Upon check in we were told we had to go about 1 mile down the road to another resort to pickup keys. Front desk said we should have received a e-mail with check in instructions. We had to order a second uber, because there were no shuttle vans available.
- 5/5
GREAT AREA, FRIENDLY SERVICE, WILL BE BACK
- 2/5
Broken aircondituoner had Togo to another hotel to check in!
- 5/5
Beatiful unit, new, clean, very comfoetable bed. Near beach.
- 4/5
Everything was good except the check-in.You had to go to another motel a mile away to check-in.There were also extra resort fees not added in the online total.

The Towers is a jointly owned hotel by Wyndham & Prince resorts. We had a Prince room. Checking in at the Prince hotel down the street wasn't a big deal but after that the arrangement was both unprofessional and unacceptable. The TV did not initially work so we had to call hotel engineering twice, since the Prince guy on call had to travel between both hotels. He never came back to fix the phone, which did not work. Interest access was such a hassle I didn't even bother. No tissues. Horrible mattress. Extra fees. Pool Towel cheapness (God forbid we didn't be sure the room still had 6 pool towels or we would've been charged), Snotty check-in staff (check-out girl was nice) Wyndham staff was accommodative, understanding the shared building arrangement & the hassles it causes. Room was definitely not worth the cheap price, given the multiple options available in North Myrtle Beach. Lesson learned. Only good thing, we only spent minimal time in room (sleep, if that's what it was; mattress horrible); Room furniture lousy also. Again, lesson learned & never again. Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me.
- 4/5
Not worth the extra to view the parking garage could stay anywhere for that.
- 4/5
Check in was difficult because we had to go to another hotel about a mile away to register and then check in at our hotel. Would not have been a problem if we knew this in advance.
- 4/5
It was a great room for a great price. The room had a full size fridge and the AC worked! It was clean and comfy.
- 3/5
I booked this hotel in the web, you can't check in in the property; you have to drive 1 mile away to another property to do this process. Very bad !!!
- 1/5
The check in process was ridiculously stupid. We showed up at the hotel to check-in and were told we had to drive a half a mile down the road and check into another hotel to get her a key for this hotel. Stupid inconvenient and ridiculous process.
- 4/5
Good place to stay.
- 4/5
Parking garage was being painted so had to park across and walk through rain. Room nice although facility not full yet we did not have an ocean view. Room was part of Wyndam building but services came from another building which was a little awkward.
- 4/5
The room was very nice for the amount we paid. Registration was weird having to go to another building and then back to 3rd floor of original building. The building was right on the beach which was added bonus. And, the room was clean.
- 3/5
I've stayed at the Towers before. They have really nice rooms. I can't say enough about their security staff. Everyone is super nice and go out of their way to assist and ensure you are taken care of! I don't like the fact that there is no house keeping services. Also you have to check in at another resort several blocks up the street, I think this happens if you book online and don't deal directly with the hotel. This can be a hassle, you check in at one place and then you still have to go to the Lobby of the Towers to get your wifi, pool, and other access. The one thing I didn't like was that we were told upon check in that there are six pool towels in the room and to be sure there are six towels when we leave?!? Really? Do they have any idea how cheap, course and poor quality these towels are and to have the nerve to say to us to make sure there are six when we leave. We could have replaced those towels with better quality at Wal-Mart!. The Towers is a nice place, but for the money, I would like more, like house keeping and please upgrade your towels and you don't have to "remind" people not to steal them!

The check in process was quick and easy, as long as you are aware that you do not check in at the property itself, but at the Prince Resort about a mile down the street. We were a little early and our room at The Towers was not ready, however, the staff at the Prince Resort checked us in and gave us keys and told us the resort would text us our room number as soon as it was ready. We got a text not long after. The beach area is beautiful. The resort itself is well maintained. We stayed in an efficiency (as it was just for one night). It was roomy and still had a large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a washer dryer. The bathroom had a nice jetted tub, although we did not like the shower head and felt like it should have had a higher end shower head to fit in with the quality of the bathroom. The only issue we had was with requesting more pillows. The pillows on the king bed were kind of whimpy and so we phoned reception for additional pillows. They told us ok. Then we waited - and waited - nothing. So I called again. Reception informed me that they had to get them from the Prince Resort?/ and that she would call them again. ok. So we waited - and waited and finally I just called the Prince Resort . Was told someone would be over to deliver them. Nothing!! NO one showed. No pillows. So we were about to head to dinner and I thought I would call one more time. Reception told me to contact Kim at the Prince REsort. Got the pillows finally!
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful but I didn't like the fact that if you book for North Myrtle Beach you had to check in with the Prince Hotel which is 3 min down the road from the Towers.
- 3/5
They don't clean the rooms daily and they took over 13 hours to deliver more shampoo. Had to call twice!
- 5/5
Great location!
- 4/5
Great room with kitchenette. Great to have washer and dryer too
- 5/5
My stay at Towers in North Myrtle Beach was great. Check in was fast & friendly. The room was nice & clean. The bed was nice & soft, very comfortable. Access to shopping and site seeing was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I will definitely stay here again.

This was my 2nd stay at the Towers and unfortunately it was a stark contrast to my first visit. We were very pleased with our visit last December in unit 330. This time we were placed in condo 430 and had a completely different experience. Not one of the 4 televisions in the condo worked. The remotes were unresponsive and when changing the channels manually from the TV, each channel read "no source." It took several hours for a technician to arrive and we were told by the front desk that there was only one technician available for both the Prince & Towers locations. After the technician left, the television was stuck on one channel; The remote was still unresponsive and the channel couldn't be changed. The other 3 bedroom televisions still read "no source." A 2nd technician came 3 days later and indicated it was a new system installed a month prior, and still wasn't working properly. He was able to make modifications and supply alternate remotes that worked. The AC panel also required maintenance because the thermostat was blank and unresponsive. I stayed over Thanksgiving and was surprised at the lack of cookware; The kitchen was only supplied with one frying pan, a round pizza and muffin pan. Not a single pot, baking sheet or oven mitt was supplied. I had to use hand towels from the bathroom to remove hot pans from the oven. My key card quit working twice and each time I had to drive or walk a mile back to the Prince Resort to have it reprogrammed.
- 5/5
The Towers at the Grove was amazing. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.
- 3/5
Amenities are excellent at this hotel. We have enjoyed our stays in the past. This trip the room floors were filthy. I dripped some water on the floor and wiped it up. The towel was black from just where I had wiped. Experimenting, I rubbed the floor in several different areas. Our socks were black. Obviously, the floor had not been attended to in quite some time. Pretty poor housekeeping and pretty poor management followup. Bed was very uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Our stay was great. It was our first visit together at North Myrtle Beach and we would definitely come back to the Towers. The kitchen inside the room was my favorite part. I was able to cook the whole time and we had everything we needed to cook with already there.
- 1/5
Really super disappointing for a room that was not worth a crap.
- 1/5
1st we were suppose to have a room with a view of the ocean, but instead got a room with a view of the BLVD. The hotel would not comp us with a new room for a % off of stay. Second our TV and remote would never work. We would have to keep resetting the TV due to it freezing etc. That occurred multiple times a day every day. It was a battle every day. The hotel sent us "Engineers" (wink, wink) to look at the TV and DVD player. One of the Engineers couldn't figure out how to change the input on the TV. I had to show him how to do it. Then he took the remote and showed me the order button and said "this button means ordee. You can order movies on the TV . So don't use the DVD player anymore". My response was that if they didn't want us using the DVD player then they wouldn't have put one in the room and we would use the TV if it worked... Then it took them over an hour to get us a new remote which still did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. We only got comped 20% for one day because of the worker being rude and them taking so long to get us another remote. The pool also sucks... The main pool is not in the sun but it under the building. I would never recommend for anyone to stay here. This is a terrible hotel with terrible employees. Worst experience and hotel of our lives.
- 4/5
Besides the weird check in process, the stay was fantastic. The staff were awesome, very helpful and kind. Shopping was within walking distance. Local area was fun and beautiful. Short drive to get to everything else. Easy beach access and pool was really nice too.
- 5/5
It was an awesome time ty very much
- 4/5
My room was located on the 16th floor. This gave me a nice advantage point for views and less noise from the pool area. The room is self was not what I booked. I had booked a one bedroom condo and when I got to the room, I had the room with the two double beds and the sitting room ocean side. The beds need to be updated in this unit, they were lumpy and uncomfortable. But over all I was pleased with the quality of the staff and the ease of access to the beach. I don't think anywhere on the North Strip can you stay for the price and have all the quality. I would be back but will check with the property to validate I get what I fully pay for.
- 5/5
The hotel was a great beach location. The room was clean while I had the feel of home. I would recommend to others.
- 2/5
The TV was a joke! No channel selector or guide. Very frustrating trying to find the news. The lobby was no help because you had to call another hotel to report the issue and wait for someone to arrive, The room was very small especially for the price, albeit the middle of July, The door to the washer and dryer was on some sliding door which was broken and dangerous. The security people were very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
The room that we stayed in was owned by another hotel, about a mile away. Our room didn't have room service. Unless we called the other, then they would send room service down to our hotel.
- 5/5
My stay was amazing, the hotel was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here in the future visits. Everyone was so nice.
- 5/5
My son Grayson and I had a great time. The condo was wonderful. The view of the ocean was awesome.
