I experienced some issues with my stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room lacking a television and clock. When I brought this to the hotel's attention, I was relocated to a room situated far from the main amenities. Additionally, I received an unexpected knock on my door at 1am, which was quite unsettling given the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Hotel is creepy!

Pool not heated, plenty of parking, room clean, but no refrigerator or microwave. TV was too confusing to use.

We were in town for a tournament and we didn’t get any sleep.

This individual attempted to force entry into my room multiple times by using a key to unlock the door, identifying themselves as police. I later discovered that this person was actually a hotel staff member who mistakenly thought my room was vacant.The employee failed to have any name tag or identification. .

Check in was easy and quick. Parking was right next to our room, loved that. Check out time was 12pm which was really nice. The room was nice and big. Not super clean, once we walked in we saw gummies on the carpet and some stains. The fire detector was covered up with a towel, which was weird. There was no fridge or microwave, such a bummer. Didn't go in the pool or hot tub.

No fridgerator, no microwave, it does have some big-ass roaches/water bugs though, it has a restaurant...that never opens, rooms are decent size, fairly clean, parking is not a problem, and the propery is pretty cool looking. It's one of the lowest price hotels on hotels.com, so it's whatever.

Maybe add a microfridge & microwave in the rooms would be great amenities for future guests. On a positive note, I liked how quiet the room was. Parking was not an issue. I noticed that there was on-site security in the parking lots. But the beds were too solid for my liking. There are vending machines but items are expensive. If you're looking for a quick stay that's on the cheaper side then this is a good stay. I can not recommend staying here & will not be returning to Saddleback Hotel in the future.

The staff is phenomenal. I left my lights on and they came and knocked on the door and told me that my lights were still on my car. The gentleman that came to the door was nice polite and concern. You might think it's nobody watching this property for safety and other issues but it is. The maids are nice even the one that didn't speak much English she was still nice. Poquito Espanol so I did my best. There's a train that comes through LOL every once in awhile didn't really bother me. It's near the Norwalk Civic center. Where you can find department of public Social Services Social security administration court building bunch of different stuff Police department etc. There's also AMC theater and also if you come to this area please go check out mountain Mike's it's a pizza place that is located at the corner of Bloomfield and imperial highway. Monday through Friday I believe they have happy hour where it's all you can eat pizza and salad bar. My goodness they're freaking Pizza is phenomenal. But anyway back to the hotel my only issue was the family located in building 4 on the second floor down the way from us oh my gosh. You talking about a damn wrestling match going on. Minus that the hotel was cool.

I booked a room for a king bed but I asked if I can Have a room somewhere close to the office cause the cops where there that night. Beds are old and you can feel the springs. So I’m not talking bad but not the best place to stay.

This place is (somewhat) secluded and usually quiet. The perfect spot for when you need to be alone. At the same time it's closer than desert if you need something (or someone) on a dime. All in all, it l promises a good time. Kudos to the cute girl at the counter. Your lovely smile is nice and warming. Peoplw will retuen to see a personality so charming!

These folks are the 🐝 knees. Mostly a quiet environment (until i show up), but even then a great place to plan a staycation.

As soon as we walked into the room, the smell was horrible. It smelled like an old cabin that hasn't been inhabited in decades. It was cold so we turned on the heater. The smell coming from the heater was even worse.

Rude customer services

There was a minor inconvenience in that the bathroom had a broken exhaust fan. Not a big deal, but some people like to evacuate the odor and have the sound from the fan camouflage their bathroom time. Secondly, when we tried to get in the room, our second night The keys would not work. It was close to midnight and I had to make two trips back down to the front desk, which was on the opposite end of the property before I got the right key card. Once I got in the room, there had been no maid service and we had no clean towels. I called the front desk and it was now after midnight and there was no housekeeping on staff to bring any towels. Fortunately, a security person came to make sure we got in our room, and that person went into a vacant room here our roomand got us towels. Finally, all but one of the multiple entrances to the property were open, and it was pretty inconvenient to have to come in from an odd direction and or make u turns, etc. To get into the only gate that was open.I would never stay here again, and never recommend Hotel Saddleback.

I liked that they were very helpful and it’s be try clean and calm, not loud and chaotic rooms are nice and comfortable. I didn’t see a vending machine or snack options that would have been nice. Acess to water bottles I didn’t see that. Prices a little high but it’s not a motel so I understand, inflation. Everything else perfect staff friendly and room and Tv work fine.

The room was not clean, smelled like smoke, the bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs of the mattress, there were hairs on the sheets and pillows, as well as something sticky on the floor it was soo disgusting. I asked to be moved to another room it was a little bit better. Only redeeming thing was the staff they were nice but never again.

the one major problem we had no cold water even after telling them no ice at all entire prperty i had to stay second nite i asked if there would be discount because of the 2 prblems. they said call hotel manager never got back to me. and call 800 constant machine please email back or call 562 228 2066

Stayed here a few times now and it’s always a wonderful experience! The office staff is very nice and helpful. The property is clean and has nice amenities. It has always been a peaceful and serene visit every time. Would definitely recommend!!

The staff is not helpful and rude.they had alot of empty rooms we came as family and requested rooms to eachother and they refused. The toilet was clogged so they removed me to a room on the same floor. The TV didn’t work, but I stayed since we weren’t really gonna be in the room. The pool is disgusting. You’re swimming and bleach with sweat. The water is literally salty.

The hotel was a bed to sleep in. Room was older beat up furniture. The A/C was off and room was hot which took awhile to cool and quiet noise. The room deposit for possible damage was odd. I took pictures of the room to make sure I was charged for nothing. Wouldn't stay there again.

No microwave or rifrigerator, the carpet was extremly filthy that it left the bottom of ur feet black, the curtains smelled like cigarettes and the blankets look dirty n for the price i was appalled but did not have time to go looking for another we had just arrived from baja california for my brothers funeral n viewing. Im repoeting to the better business bureau for my refund i videoed all.

I called to inform them and the lady hanged up and I called back and a guy picked up and I told him to write down what happen and I would deal with it in the morning and asked if they had rubbing alcohol so it won’t get infected . The next morning I checked out and told the lady and she just said to call Monday to the manager . I told her to write down what I have said .

The price was good but the fact that the room had no fridge or microwave was really disappointing since I stayed a week it was difficult to have any kind of food for my 2 year old handy

Couldn’t check-in when I arrived there was no staff available and when they were I was told my reservation had been cancelled so when I attempted to get a refund they proceeded to lie to the Expedia agent saying we checked in when we in fact had not but thankfully Expedia was able to resolve the issue.

Beds were definitely not great but overall the room was clean, staff was friendly, and the stay was quiet.

It was a one-night stay, and for the price, you get what you pay for.

There were no loud nightclubs, no strange noises, and no disturbances whatsoever. It was quiet and peaceful. The room was cleaned every single day during my stay , always tidy, always fresh. Of course, don’t expect a Hilton or Marriott you’re paying a much more affordable price. But for what you’re paying, the service is honestly excellent. The staff is kind, the energy of the hotel is calm, and it felt like a safe, family-friendly environment. Nobody was arguing or acting up, it was just a good vibe overall. My advice: read the reviews if you want, but ask the girls at the front desk to let you see the room first (see it for yourself ) you’ll realize a lot of the negative reviews are way off. This is a real review from someone who actually stayed, and I’m even including a video. Some people claimed there were insects , I didn’t see a single one.

The place will be great if only the rooms will have an updated with the removal of carpet so will not have a humidity smell and usb outlets

This has to be one of the worst places to stay. First off, the amenities are no where to found. It’s such an inconvenience of a I’m location. The AC was not working properly so it got hot and humid real fast. There was no ventilation within the bathroom so there’s that! And the icing on the cake, there was huge cockroaches outside and we found one inside the bathroom in the shower. I would avoid this place at all cost, it’s not worth it.

I stay there for convenience. It’s very close to my mom’s home…otherwise, I’d stay somewhere else.

My AC unit was so loud and did not work well. The room was very humid and smells like mold. The carpet is dirt. There is no fridge to put our cold drinks in.

There where roaches every where also no microwave or fridge like i was told room stink first room placed in had dead roaches everywhere and mirrobroke in room. Roaches in the elevator and through hallways . When brought to there attention they said that it was California. No buddy i staid at motel 6 better then that.

Went for a weekend stay on pictures, the hotel looks nice but when you get there, it’s another story. Customer service from the evening and Morning person. We’re not friendly at all. The rooms need to be updated and outside also.

Outer property looks run down. The room was decent but the tub had rust stains and there was no fridge so I had to buy a cooler and ice to keep my things cold.

The room I was in tv screen was broken and never replaced the 2 nights I was there. Haven’t gotten my deposit back and it’s been 4 days.

HEATER IN ROOM WOULD NOT COME ON, AND IT WAS COLD!! NO HOT WATER FOR A SHOWER IN THE MORNING. STAYED ONE NIGHT AND DID NOT COME BACK FOR THE REST OF MY RESERVATION LAST WEEK, AND WAS ABLE TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION FOR THIS WEEK. Hotel is ok. You get what you pay for as to comfort and location. The only problem I had was the bed was so filthy when I walked it. You can see stains everywhere on the comforter. There was also some white "unknown" stains on the comforter as well. It was so bad. Fortunately they did fix the issue and moved us to a different room. Clean and ok.

Trash in the drawers, shower and tub was dirty, old tissue wads stuck to the walls and ceiling, old juice bottles left in room, no microwave, no refrigerator, bed was broken and leaning to the side, cabinet door was also broken, jacuzzi was not working. Do not stay here.

Great stay, my go to location. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The rooms were very outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable. The carpet was extremely dirty and we couldn’t walk on it barefoot. Both the hot in and laundry were out of order despite being told they were up and running.

Room was old with stained carpet, stained curtains, tears in shower curtain, and the TV would not work at all. We have stayed there before and the rooms were much better than the room we had this time. We probably will not stay there again after this last experience.

This hotel goes beyond “no frills” all the way to “no effort.” No fridges or microwaves. Hot tub out of order. Towels are small and rough as sandpaper. Lobby is locked at night with a lobby chair stuck through the doors handles. And I witnessed them check in a person escorted by the police and what must have been his probation officer. Halfway house? Unless you’re a NL Vacation fan, there is zero reason to stay at this hotel. Just terrible.

I was genuinely afraid for my life. I didn’t know what to do so i left and slept in my car.

The hotel was crummy. The whole place felt run down. Wouldnt have minded that but Our TV barely worked, and the sheets were dirty. The worst part was the front desk ensured me the spa and pool were open, but both were ice cold. People partied all night. Would not recommend this location at all.

TV was not working properly. I had to change rooms because my 1st room had a terrible smell. There were NO towels. I do NOT recommend this hotel, everything is outdated. Hotel needs serious repairs & maintenance. Hotel staff were nice & helpful.

Everything is outdated. The beds are terrible and so is the lighting. The odor was pretty bad, almost like someone was vaping. The light outside the bathroom kept turning off and on all night. The pillows were so small. I will never stay here again.

The hotel is infested of roaches. They were even walking on the headboard of the bed. The room states that is a 3 stars hotel when in reality is the worst hotel I stayed in my life. The hotel is a 1 star. I ended up not staying on the hotel.
