    Nice enough room. Prices were jacked up due to World Cup. Reserved a 2x queen room for 3 people several weeks in advance, notified staff we would be a late check-in, and still gave away our room. Gave us a king and a roll away with no bedding (took 20 mins to get it to our room), and staff at check in said they had "a lot going on today", and acted like us not having our room was the least of their problems. Comped us with a breakfast "buffet". It was NOT a buffet, it was a continental breakfast that would have been free in most hotels.

    Staff, especially the front desk. The front desk was very accommodating with requests. For example they had a stained chair in my room switch out expeditiously. The guest room. As I entered the room I right away noticed a stained upholstery chair in the corner. The wood on the upper left side of the vanity in the bathroom seemed to be pulling away from the vanity. The carpet was not indicative of the hotel's brand.

    Didn’t get the room that wanted. My son has to sleep on a horrible roll up bed that looked like the bottom of it had blood stains on it. The staff couldn’t even bring it to the room, they left it at the door. We weren’t compensated for anything except for one night of parking. We booked two queens and got a king instead.

    The room was very clean. Temperature was comfortable. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Good quality towels. Good quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Shower has good pressure. Staff were very friendly. Near restaurants. Near bus stops. I feel safe walking around the area. Shuttle service to train station. Breakfast is not complimentary. It is $26.50 per person, expensive. We just ended eating out for breakfast. Wifi cannot be connected on your last day, the check out day. Check out is at 11 am, but wifi is already disconnected at 7am. I cannot connect back after several attempts. Loud on Saturday night, it feels like some people were partying on the hallway outside our bedroom. Sunday night stay was quiet though. Cleaning people were making loud sounds when cleaning adjacent room (banging doors, banging walls).

    I liked the hotel and the location… The hotel team were very helpful, professional and accommodating. The rooms were clean an overall a very pleasant experience. Thanks Dennis Derricotte I didn’t like that I had to pay $22.00 / person for the breakfast buffet. At most Hilton properties breakfast is included in the cost of the room. My trip was cut short by 2 days. (Checked out Monday 5/18, not Wednesday 5/20). Hilton charged me the full amount and referred me to YOU (Booking.com) for my two day refund.. How will I recover the cost for the days not spent at the hotel? Please call me @ 703-932-4487

    Comfortable and quiet. The parking fee 20 plus all the unnecessary taxes and was not notified that I had to pay 20 for each car at the desk she just asked did I have a car and gave me a pass not telling me about the ridiculous 20 for a empty parking lot if I knew would have took a Lyft there. Was very upset about that.

    I called the front desk several times with no answer and had to go downstairs myself, only to find the clerk having a personal conversation and watching TV. While she apologized, it felt very unprofessional. I was also charged for an $8 bottle of water that we never touched. My husband even said you can buy a 12-pack of water at Walmart for that price. As a Hilton Honors member since 2017 with a Hilton American Express card, I was frustrated by the confusion regarding the “free” water bottles. To make matters worse, guests were partying loudly until 3:00 AM the night before our early flight, making it impossible to sleep. I expected much better service and professionalism from a Hilton property.

    spacious, clean room. Never heard any noise at night from the corridor. There was a sink in the room as well as in the bathroom and this was very useful. the coffee shop was handy for a quick coffee and pastry in the morning as we didn't have time for breakfast. Didn't have time to use the pool but it's good to have that facility. Good value too. Can't think of anything.

    The room also smelled like weed, likely coming from the neighboring room, which made it very uncomfortable. On top of that, the bathroom door made a loud squeaking noise every time it was opened or closed. I barely got any sleep and woke up multiple times throughout the night because of the noise. Overall, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

    We stayed here for two nights with kids. There is no bath, only shower available. The rooms are a little outdated. My room did not have a remote when we came in. In the evening, my daughter spilled on the bed and when we tried to call the front desk- the phones do not work. My husband went down to the front desk and asked for housekeeping/sheets. Was told that there is no housekeeping until the morning and no one to bring anything up until then. When he asked for sheets and blankets- they only had one sheet and one thin blanket. Front desk said that is all they had until the morning.

    I absolutely love this hotel. I've been coming to this hotel for years. This was the very 1st time I have had an issue with this hotel. We arrived around 4 & had to leave right out because of a reservation we had. Upon arriving back we were sitting on the bed & someone noticed something crawling on the curtain. I told her to kill it & she says it looks like a bed bug. I got up, took a picture, killed it & took the pic to the front desk to ask to be moved. The hotel was booked so moving to another room wasn't even an option. Due to the fact that I had just spent over $300 on this room & we had been out drinking, I went back to the room & raised mattresses looking & moved all our things to the closet. I couldn't sleep all night worried about seeing more & not wanting anything to get in my possessions. I was told that night that a manger would be in in 5 to 10 mins & would give me a call. I didn't get a call. I went to the desk the next morning & was told the manager was going into a meeting. I explained what I was coming down for, left my contact information & was told the manager would call me. I also let her know I wasn't expecting to get the room for free but because I frequent this hotel a lot I wanted attention brought to the matter. As I was leaving, I told the young lady that the manager never connected me & she asked if I wanted her to try to get the manager. I told her know that I was just going to report it cause with something as important as seeing a bed bug in a room wasn't important to them then clearly they didn't want to hear what I had to say. I'm very disappointed with my stay & I pray that was the only bed bug that was in that room.

    1. One of the front desk clerks was extremely rude. People we didn’t even know that were guest said the same thing. She spoke Spanish 2.There was no microwave in the room only on even floors 3. The chair and ottoman in my room was filthy. 4. Kids were running around the hall and pounding on my door a couple of times, we finally had to call security! This would be the first and the last time at that particular hotel.

    I did not see any mention of parking fee when making the reservation (that's not something I would've missed if it was there), yet I was forced to pay for parking during the stay. The reservation was through a 3rd-party website, admittedly; still, that's not something Expedia would - or should - have made a mistake on, and the non-cooperation of the hotel check-in staff made it worse.

    The rooms need a total make over. There was mold on the walls. The bathroom has paint peeling probably due to moisture. The parking is $20/day. Breakfast is $22/day. Ive never paid for parking or breakfast at other places. Rooms don't have a microwave. I would expect more from hilton. I will NOT be staying here AGAIN.

    Unfortunately I am very disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel. I was very disappointed that there has been poorly done upgrades. I took pictures because I want to show all my friends and family that the once top tier hotel on the south side has gone down. Peeling varnish on furniture, primer paint repairs with NO final coat to finish the job on the ceiling. The new fee to park alone should cover the cosmetic upgrade to all their rooms.

    The first night was fine, but after that everything went downhill. On the second day, I specifically went down to the front desk and asked for our room to be cleaned before we left for the day. When we came back, the room had not been cleaned at all. It actually looked like they simply refolded the same sheets and left everything else exactly the same. The next morning, I left early and again requested housekeeping. When I returned later that day, the room was still dirty. Garbage was still on the floor, towels were still on the floor, and nothing had been touched. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, this was extremely disappointing. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and have never experienced housekeeping this poor. When you request service twice and still return to a dirty room, it’s unacceptable. I expected much better from a Hilton property. Unfortunately, this stay was a very frustrating experience.

    The Hilton Hotel Oak Lawn, IL was beautiful. The customer service of staff was excellent. It was in an outstanding location for eating and shopping. We were there for funeral so we didn't do any pool or gym. The restaurant in lobby had a delicious buffet breakfast with everything on buffet.

    I stayed 2 non-cosecutive nights snd it wss a huge hassel getting Experion's software to understand that. The Hilton was great. Efficient, friendly, helpful. Rooms (I stayed in 2 different ones) were clean and compfy. Shuttle service to Midway Airport was timely The shuttle wasn't running last 1pm on 2/13 so I had to take a cab. Josie, part time bartender had her hands full w upcoming Vtines day dining room, but she was very attentive n pleasant. Can't say the same about the older, more experienced male bartenders, sorry to say

    We have stayed at this hotel several years ago and we knew the location is great for the areas we planned to visit. The entrance is nice, gives the impression that the rooms will be sleek and up to date. Well that was not the case. Supposedly the room had 2 queen beds but they were no doubt full beds. The bathroom is extremely small. They only gave us 3 sets of towels for our family of 4 and the bathroom/sink area smelled really musty. All the walls were wallpapered in white but you could see black lines where it met the ceiling. I'm not an expert on the aging of wallpaper or on black mold but it was gross, and worse in the bathroom and sink area. You need to have a key card to use the elevator so that was nice, made it feel safe. Keep in mind parking is 15 bucks a day and is just a basic parking lot, not a garage or covered in any way. Overall,we were not at the hotel to hang out so it served its purpose for showering and sleeping.

    At first sight, everything looked perfect. I checked in Christmas Day early a $50 fee then I was told parking is $16.90 per day, the pool was closed until January and a $300 deposit none of these were disclosed on reservation. Went to the first room on the second floor we pull the sheets back to check everything. There were bodily fluids all on the sheets. How disgusting! I immediately complained. She moved us to the fifth floor. Cleaning ladies dont do nothing. One was on the phone talkin about the guest We turned the blanket to check everything seem to be fine., so we went straight to sleep. Once we woke up, my son noticed on his bed after the blanket got shifted it had huge brown stains all over at the bottom where it’s tucked tight they hid it by putting a flat sheet over the top of the blanket and one at the bottom of the blanket. The shower also was dirty. The sink had shaved hair all around the faucet. We complained again the guy that helped us this time was very nice and accommodating and he moved us to the 11th floor. When I tell you, this has been the worst Christmas the worst hotel stay I have had ever had and to top it all off this third room that we were in flies kept coming in. I think out of the heater In December we killed three flies 1 every morning we woke up there was a live fly in the window. Through the night, I kept feeling something tickling my ears, so I’m tossing and turning each night we stayed a total 5 days. I demand a refund. I was cheated 0 Stars

    This was a short staycation for me. The check in service was friendly and quick. Hotel room was very clean and large. I did not use room service but there's a restaurant on the property and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Room has a refrigerator, safe, etc. but no microwave. However, there are microwaves in the lobby on every even numbered floor. Hotel was quiet and I enjoyed my stay.

    The staff was courteous! I believe believe because I booked through Expedia my room was street side of the hotel, VERY noisy. I received a call from the hotel asking how my stay was going. I let them know I was not happy about the level of noise. I was able to move to the other side of the hotel. However, when checking out the hotel billed me for a much high room rate. Once I offered to provide my confirmation the Agent said she had the information showing the correct rate and I would receive a refund.

    Typical stop on othe Southside. Desk help was great, as it always is. Room was clean. It's an old property, so it is showing some age. Bathroom is a little tight, but there is a separate sink area. HVAC unit is old and a little noisy, muffled by an old cap stand that does not allow the drapes to close correctly. Minor issues, but does not allow for 5 stars.

    The staff is awesome, and the rooms are always clean and tidy. I only have one gripe: The rooms don't have microwaves in them, so you have to go to an even numbered floor, or down to the lobby to heat your food. That's unfortunate for me, because I'm a serious night owl, and I tend to eat very late. I hate having to put on clothes to go out of my room to warm up my food. Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this hotel!

    selected this hotel because it was close to the banquet hall of where i was having my wedding, the staff here is amazing, they were already helpful but once staff know the reason for my stay everyone went above and beyond service. the restaurant provided excellent service, manager liz was very attentive and ensure my guest were well served and taken care of. i would recommend this hotel for any occasion because you will receive excellent service.

    There was black mold everywhere. This hotel was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I didn’t even take a shower that’s how bad it was. But I was too tired from a long drive to switch rooms. The hotel staff were friendly and nice. The ceiling had multiple leaks, the vanity had dust that looked like it had been there 20 years. There were tiny black bugs in the corners of the bathroom. The bathtub was peeling off near the drain. The carpet was wet and smelled like someone peed on it. I found unidentifiable stains on the carpet as well. I never took my shoes off. This hotel should be shut down until the owner repairs and replaces everything. Absolutely disgusting, uninhabitable conditions. Unsafe and Unhealthy even for the staff to be working there.

    Nice area, clean room, nice staff but for it to be a hilton the rooms are extremely outdated. In all honesty if my event wasn't there i wouldn't have paid for it because the rooms were so outdated. The chair even had stains on it, the desk chair was uncomfortable. There was a large gap in the door and the bathroom wasnt the best. But the bed was very comfortable & they have a smart tv you can watch Netflix on.

    Noisy lobby events during our stay One person in our party had to switch rooms due to intolerable smells from a smoker, in a non-smoking room. On top of that, housekeeping failed to turn her 2 handicap parking placards into lost and found as she accidentally left them in the room she had to shift from due to smoke smells.

    From the moment I entered the building, the smell alone was Stellar. The rooms and service were as expected per online photographs, the fitness center was great, it not huge but enoughselectionto get a good workout, the hallways were clean and quiet. There a a small breakfast spot across from the fitness center and I think it's affordable for being in the hotel. If you are a vegetarian, they offer freshly made smoothies which was great for my friend and they have turkey option available. The hot snd cold drinks are delicious. There is a Walgreens, Marshalls , FedEx, and Jersey Mikes in walking distance of the hotel to name a few.

    I did not like the breakfast. I tried the croissant and a couple of the pastries. The croissant was raw inside and was under baked. The pastries were the same. For the price you charged for breakfast, I expected a much better quality. I can definitely say that I will never have breakfast at your hotel again.

    The circular hotel is clean, safe, and in an area with lots of food and shopping. It is only a few miles South of Midway Airport and is a straight shot to get there. When I come to Chicago again, I will definitely stay here! Pro Tip: I paid $20 per night for parking, but there is plenty of free street parking available around the hotel on the weekend.

    So compared to other Hilton in other cities I’ve been to, this one has old looking rooms and you can tell they don’t keep them up. The faucet handles turned all the way around so it made it hard to turn off the water off. That bathtub was not clean, it had paint missing as well. The worst of all about the room is finding a wig behind a chair. Which means housekeeping didn’t clean good as suspected. I don’t wear wigs I have natural hair, so no it wasn’t mine. I was so disgusted but it was my last day so I didn’t complain about it, I didn’t think it would make a difference anyway. The gentleman that checked me into the room was very nice so I give the staff a 5 star, other than that I didn’t have interaction with anyone else.

    I arrived at the hotel to check in and I was told their system was down so they were unable to give me a room. I waited almost an hour and as I was walking out I was told the system was back up but they didn’t have the room I reserved, they only had a room with 2 queen size beds. It was late and I just wanted to get some rest so I took the room. The woman at the front desk did extend my check out time from 12pm to 2pm so I appreciated that.

    I was impressed with the staff's friendliness, helpfulness and willingness to help. Our flight was not until 5:30pm. We were given a late check out and allowed access to the pool for my 7 yr old grandson while we waited for our ride to the airport. My one and only complaint is that the toilets are too low to the floor. I am only 5 feet 5 inches tall. I recently had double knee replacement surgeries. I have difficulty rising from lower seating accommodations. Perhaps future new constructions and remodels could include a percentage of handicap toilets. Thank you for your consideration.

    The property is definitely showing its age. Very noisy heating and cooling system. We had to change rooms the second night because the AC WOULDN'T COOL ANY COOLER THAN 73 DEGREES. Also the shower in both rooms left a lot to be desired.

    The room is large and elegantly decorated. The king bed is very comfortable. Very large windows provide a great view. Nice refrigerator. Nice large flatscreen TV. Individual A/C control to allow the guest to adjust the setting. Great place to stay!

    Stayed there for 6 days Hotel room is dirty kept calling no one is answering!! My nephew throw up no one answered i had to clean by my self until the morning came then i went to the front desk to get someone clean when they came they did some water on top and thats it trash can i had to open and call room service to take it in those six days my sheets didn’t change not even once!!

    My only (very minor) complaint is that the coffee shop hours were limited, which made it a bit tough to grab a cup when I needed it. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.     The hotel is an older property but is very clean and nice. The double Queen rooms are very spacious! I loved that we had two mirrors and sinks in the room! The workers are all so friendly and nice. There are lots of food options all within a few miles of hotel. Overall it was a great stay and would definitely stay there again if I come back to the area!
