    Wish they had bananas like the other Baymonts and more variety of cereal or healthier cereal. Also the other Baymonts offer free water bottles which was nice. Safe to stay and clean. Beds are okay pillows fluffy and clean rooms

    Room and bathroom were dirty upon arrival, the TV was broken, and the front desk staff offered little assistance. Combined with the long check-in delay, this made for a very poor experience. I would not stay here again.

    The breakfast was below average, not what I have experienced with similar chain hotels. The room was not very clean, particularly the bathroom which had a used towel hanging on the back of the door. The room only had decaf coffee, no regular coffee. The property seemed a bit run down. The location is pretty good, with several bars and restaurants within walking distance.

    Property was Very clean and close to restaurants and fast food. Also liked the advanced check-in and online checkout. The only thing I didn’t like was I couldn’t turn my television off and was unable to reach staff concerning it so had to unplug it.

    The room was not cleaned well. I used the sink and shower and there was men’s hairs like if they shaved and left it like that and I got them on my arms after I had showered because I went to brush my teeth on the sink so I not being sure what hairs they were from had to shower again. Didn’t mind too much the ones in the shower because I cleaned it before showering but the ones at the sink I was already showered and they were all over my arms because ai leaned on the sink

    The bathroom floor tiles were coming loose, creating a definite trip hazard. The chemicals they used made the floor extremely slippery and unsafe to walk on. The strong chemical odor also made it difficult to sleep. AC was very loud. This hotel should be closed. I don't recommend it.

    Staff, checking in and needing to borrow a bottle opener and needing change was helpful. Oily fingerprints around door jams, Urine around toilet base, even a nicotine pouch stuck to a wall in plain sight. Come on Baymont- do better

    Location is good with restaurants nearby. There was dry pee on the toilet seat in my room. Property could also use a coat of paint and some touch ups in a lot of areas. But it’s often the lowest priced in the immediate vicinity so you get what you pay for.

    I was just driving through and booked this hotel last minute. Checking I was easy and the staff was nice and friendly. When I checked out staff was equally ice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Great staff, clean room and a comfortable bed.

    The room was not clean so we requested another one. The front desk was more than helpful which I’m thankful for but I really believe I won’t be staying there again. It used to be our go to hotel for a weekend getaway but I’ll have to upgrade to Residence Inn from here on out.

    I came in late and they were very hospitable to me. The girl that was behind the counter was very sweet. The location is kind of off of the beaten path, which makes me feel a little bit more comfortable not being on the main highway. I recommend this location. I give it a 10 stars.

    The room was not clean. Hairs on the shower floor, visible dirt and hair on the bathroom door, food left on the sink counter, bathroom floor so dirty my shoe stuck to it, carpets had not been vacuumed. That’s the room.. the halls had also not been vacuumed in some time, and the elevator floors were visibly dirty. The back door also didn’t function properly. Scanned my card but wouldn’t open, the side door didn’t recognize my key card, so I had to walk all the way to the front to get inside. Overall very disappointing stay.

    The rooms are good for the price. It did look like there might be mold in the shower ceiling. Our tv kept randomly turning off while we’re watching it. They only had coffee for breakfast. There was no apple or orange juice, so that was disappointing. But it still was an ok stay.

    Room was decent, but not very clean. The a/c was on when I arrived; good to start things off with a cool room The room was dirty. In particular, the carpet, though dark in color, still showed a number of large stains. There were left-over candy wrappers on the wall next to the bed. The sheets on the bed were not properly and tightly tucked in. And the light on the refrigerator was very bight - it lit up the room once all the lights were off sufficient to be bothersome when I was trying to sleep. And finally and importantly, the hotel has no external security cameras anywhere, either outside or inside. In this day and age, that is a travesty. I drive a very expensive automobile; when I parked it, a couple of people staying at the hotel walked over to have a look. Concurrently, they warned me to park it in front of the hotel where there were more lights, as several vehicles had had items stolen from them the night before. They also were the ones that told me about the lack of security cameras.

    Staff was very nice front desk was being trained, but both ladies were good at greating as coming through the doors, the room served it purpose we basically just slept in it, beds were comfy the heat/cool unit worked I didn't pay much attention to the room being we got in @ 11p.m. showered & went to sleep! The could of used a little more cleaning , the back wall where toilet sits looked molded, bathroom could of used more of a cleaning in shower too and ceiling above looked water damaged, breakfast was good your basic usual options. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, yogurts, oatmeals, apples & bananas good enough to start the day would stay again would of gave better rating if bathroom had been a bit cleaner! All work staff we came across was were in good spirits & smiling at the customers, you dont find that often

    We didn’t have a power connection to one of our tv’s. We had to pull it out if we wanted to watch in the other room. We let staff know and maintenance never showed up. No back up toilet paper or any tissues. Carpet is filthy along with the couch and pillow (on couch). Bed was great.

    The staff was the best part of this stay. The rooms was alright clean a little older hotel. Breakfast looked good but because one of the guest decided to put his fingers in the bacon holder. That ended breakfast. The rules of the manager about early check in is a bit overwhelming for every half an hour early 25.00 check in is 3 pm. Not realizing like myself I had just driven over 700 miles. there need to be exceptions because this is a stand alone in the industry to charge this

    Cons: The walk in shower wasn’t clean. The baseboards were noticeably old and dirty, the carpet was not vacuumed, the couch was dirty— Looked like a dried up spill? It looked crusty. The toilets still had piss stains underneath the lip and on the side of the toilet, the bed room tv was missing the cord to plug in to WATCH tv, so I had to watch the living her tv. Lastly, the wifi was not working. And when it did it would glitch in and out every 2-5mins, so my devices were moving very slow.

    I have stayed at both Baymont properties this month the Baymont of Odessa Padre Road. It had a better breakfast. It was very good, but it had no WiFi I recently stayed at the Beaumont and Odessa of Highway 80 and JBS breakfast spot if you’re more than 30 minutes late when the time breakfast opens, there is only cereal and no Wi-Fi here either tomorrow I check out and I’m looking for another hotel. I would love to stay another week with Wyndham that service has sucked.

    The overall stay was nice, the beds were comfortable and clean. The staff was kind and welcoming. The bathroom had significant mold on the ceiling, a mildew smell, and peeling wallpaper and sheet rock. The toilet also wasn’t refilling when we arrived so we had to mess with that but a good value for the money if they took care of the mold and mildew.

    This hotel was honestly not the worst. I mean if you go in the shower, there were some grout that needed to be touched up in the shower. Maybe didn’t look the best but the water was hot. The room smelled super clean when we walked in and we had no issues with our checking in for any other guest. I would stay here again, especially if it was just a one night stay I’m not sure if I would stay a week here it might be not up to my standards.

    The elevator would start moving before the doors were closed. In the past (we've stayed here for the last 4yrs at Thanksgiving) the continental breakfast has been great. This stay however, the biscuits were good on Friday, stale on Saturday and inedible by Sunday, which gives the impression that leftover biscuits were being reheated.

    All was good till a lady started to knock on the door like she was the freaking cops. I ask what she wanted, she replied asking me for my name ask her what for she didn’t let me know why. I decided to get dressed and go to the front desk to see what was going on, she was going on phone after she was done she said that they put me on the wrong room, which that made no sense I told her that she woke us up from our nap, we couldn’t go back to sleep so we decided to leave

    Rating: 0 out of 5 stars. Generously. Let’s start with the Check-In There was no one at the front desk. Just a sign that read: “We don’t accept Cash App, chime or Venmo cards” Room selection or lack there of -They gave a room with no electricity. The front desk lady said, “It’s the last room we have.” No working TV just a room with a bed The state of the room itself- quality control: The carpet had a mysterious white powder that puffed up with every step. Not sure what that was. We didn’t ask questions. We just held our breath and prayed. The smoke alarms were missing from the brackets The walls were peeling The bathroom had stay hairs all over the floor Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, the room flooded. Not a metaphor. Actual water. Therefore I can confidently say, I would never stay here again and I do not recommend anyone else to either. I know this area gets booked up quick for conferences and such but you’d be betttr off staying in Lubbock and driving than staying here.

    Reserved a accessible room, did not get. Room given still dirty and and was not cleaned from previous go’er. Went to tell manager about it and she gave another non accessible room. Asked about why I didnt get the room I reserved and was told she didnt have any more in a very rude manner. Asked why have a reservation if they did not honor. Again very rude comment after I told her that I went to their website and it says you have two accessible rooms left and she threw the two room keys at me and walked back to her office. Manager has no customer service skills.

    Room was clean. Staff was helpfull. Only issue one card, they didn't have enough. TV remote wouldn't turn tv off, had to unplug it. Lamps-one only had one bulb & didn't have a finial to balance lampshade. Ironing board was broken. Cleaning staff should check better & report to management.

    Room was not properly cleaned. The bed linen was not changed, there was hair in the bed and on the pillows from previous customers. The room was also just filthy. The chair was soiled and there was something all over the office chair at the sitting desk as well. I don’t even take a shower because the shower was dirty and moldy. Truely disappointed. You get what you pay for is not an excuse however, I will never try to save money on hotels again.

    First room 200 smelled like cigarette smoke and like if an animal had been living there. It smelled so bad, we asked to be moved. We were moved to a different room, but the front desk clerk did not report/ document the change. We received a knock on the door first thing in the morning. Uncool!

    Zach at front desk was friendly and super helpful during check in. Our room’s sink was clogged, the lamp on the nightstand did not work and was dark once sink light was off. There were lots of stickers on the carpet. I did report all this to the front desk upon check out.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful, and overall the building was clean. However, the building definitely had a "lived in" feel because a lot of the furniture and carpet had cosmetic damage that on first look seemed dirty. Also there were some large stains on the hall carpets that looked bad.

    They only cleaned my room 1 time for a 1 week stay and at that they only took out my trash, no clean towels or linens. They even left my dirty towels on the floor. Poor housekeeping On a good note desk staff was amazing and hotel always smelled clean.

    The rooms are clean, crisp and clean linens. Beds super comfortable and great a/c. But our room had stench of wet carpet, not sure if the shower leaking water is causing this smell but it was very noticeable upon arriving. Hotel is a bet outdated could use some needed upgrades.

    Bith beds were covered with hair both long and verg short hairs as if someone shaved their beard with some trimmers. There were dead insects in the sheets also. The worst part is that there was a big brown and red stain in one of the sheets on the bed. That was by far the most disgusting thing ive ever seen in a hotel. I have photos and videos of these.

    I have been travelling to Midland/Odessa area three or four times per year for business for 15 years. This trip was going to be no different. I booked this room a week in advance. No issue, same as I have always booked with Hotels.com. A day before my check in day, I get a call from the hotel manager informing me that the owner told her that unless I change my booking for two nights instead of one, she has been instructed to refuse my reservation. In 15 years traveling to this area I have never encountered this tactic. In over 30 years of traveling for work, I have never encountered this tactic. If I needed to stay two days, I would have booked for two days. Lodging extortion. I thanked the manager and told her that I would secure alternative lodging for my trip. I will also make sure that I do not darken the Baymont doorstep in the future, or any other hotel that this owner has. A very shameful way to run a business. If you require a minimum of a two night stay to book a room, just indicate that at the time your customer is booking the room. Don't wait until the day before and inconvenience your customer and try to extort them into an extra night. Hotels.com should remove this lodging group from their website, or at least add a disclaimer that customers are in jeopardy of dealing with a less than honest establishment.

    Room spelled like a mixture of cigarette smoke and whatever they sprayed to mask it. Front desk clerk said he didnt have a working key swipe on the door so he asked me to get him every time i wanted access to my room because he has a master key. I wasnt gonna do that. He then told me he gave someone else a room with a working key card because they were staying longer. Like if i was less important. The room wasnt even the night

    Check in process was fine. The room was terrible, smelt of chemical cleaners. The caulking was coming off in the bathroom. The faucet in the sink wasn’t attached at all and would fall out and the sink wouldn’t drain properly. The chair had a large stain on it and the toilet wouldn’t flush unless the handle was jiggled several times. Finally, one of two night stand light bulbs was out as was the usb port.
