This is our go to place to stay when we are in Odessa. Comfortable, nice, and a good location!

The breakfast could have been better. More variety and better prepared. The pork sausages were undercooked and I got sick on the 6 hour trip home. The bed and pillows were fantastic I don't like that I had to pay $7 for parking. Just a spot in the parking lot.

It was right off of 1-20. There was security on staff. Odessa in general is NOT a safe place to stay. There was vomit in front of the elevator doors. There were strangers walking the building that did not belong there, trying to get information from women.

It was a convenient location for travel with a decent breakfast. It got a lot of late night road noise from hot rods/ pickups without mufflers. Need to run the fan to provide some white noise to cancel it out. Thermostat on the wall meant nothing for control.

Overall, hotel property somewhat worn. Common areas not cleaned well and maintenance not 100%. For example, only one of the two elevators would go to the 4th floor and from the worn signage it looked like it had been that way for some time.

The gentleman checking us in was not very friendly and was a bit rude to my husband. The second bed in the room squeaked so loud, it woke us all up every time my son moved.

This is our second time staying at this property. The first time we had several rooms, 4 to be exact, and this time just one. Both of these time we have been very happy with our stay. The rooms have been clean, the beds very comfortable and the check-in, check-out process seamless. Kudos to this staff because they are well trained. Everyone we have encountered have been polite and very approachable.

The hotel was very comfortable although the staff wasnt the most friendly. The greeting was more of an interruption of their phone usage in the back corner. They didnt offer any info regarding amenities or breakfast location/hours. We called down & asked. My mother ended up having a fall on the property that required an e.r. visit & stitches. They have yet to contact us regarding the incident. We would probably stay again, but would highly advise them painting the curbs so they dont blend into the pavement at night in the shadowy areas of the parking lot.

Property was in fair condition. Not enough parking. Daily room rates were raping people. Management was horrible. I will never stay at this hotel again while it’s under the current ownership and management.

One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. It had a solid variety of options, from hot eggs and sausage to fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries. The coffee was fresh and available all day, which was a nice touch. The location was convenient, whether you’re traveling for business or just passing through, and parking was easy. The hotel was also quiet at night, so I slept well without interruptions. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Odessa on I-20 for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.

Love it was great staff, was quiet and has great amenities!

It was so loud we couldn’t sleep. It was right next to the freeway, and we have stayed in hotels next to freeways before, but not as noisy as this one. Maybe Odessa doesn’t have a noise ordinance, but it sure has an over abundance of vehicles with loud exhaust systems! Add to that the strobing light on the fire suppression system directly above the bed and sleep was next to impossible!

The hotel itself is very nice. Room was great and breakfast very good. But when we arrived Friday night we found that the power had been out and that the entire hotel was "re-booting." Elevators were out and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. I have a knee disability so this was bad. Fortunately, another, younger guest helped me and my wife out. Also, as expected, internet and TV service was out as well. Then, to top it off, the fire (false) alarm sounded at 5:30 AM leading to an evacuation. This went on for an hour with neither the staff not the local fire dept able to figure out how to reset it. Neither I, nor any other guests to my knowledge, received any discount or refund. We were offered only IHG points. I understand that problems happen. But I think IHG was very stingy in providing inadequate compensation for the inconvenience. I am not sure if I would ever stay there again.

The front desk girl was super polite, she advised me that I would probably not get back my deposit because of the card I was using. I was pressed for time so just ran my card and headed upstairs, the hall was super dirty like it had not been vacuumed in a while. I got to my room got ready for a shower and that’s when I noticed the bathroom was really not very clean, again with not a lot of time I figured I would stop and get some clorox wipes when I got back, I jump in the shower and the handle comes right off the wall, ironically the knob had been wiped down so housekeeping has to have known. I call the front desk and the polite lady tells me the room next door is available, I go down to get it and move my things and again another not so clean bathroom. The rest of the stay was good very well lit parking and the bed was clean and comfortable!!

Nice, modern chic interior design, delicious breakfast, which included fresh fruit, cinnamon buns, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, country potatoes (pancake machine makes tiny pancakes perfect size for little kids). The only thing that I noticed was that the floor in my room had a small stain, not sure if it was juice or soda stain near the desk area when I arrived, wish it were mopped. I like this hotel and will continue to stay here in the future, convenient that it’s right off the interstate. Staff is very friendly. I would give them a 4.9 only because of the stain on the floor and there was no extra toilet paper refill.

Would have been 5 stars except I just hate that a hotel like this charges for parking. They know that every single person who stays at this hotel has a car - it's simply a way to misrepresent what the actual cost of a room is. It's deceptive and unless we fight against it they'll keep hiding charges.

My stay had a very shocking revelation, the water was Not running at all!!!!! No toilets flushed, no running water at all!!! There was no showering or even washing hands to eat my food I purchased before checking in!!!! This was unacceptable and Not even the manager on duty could get a Resolve!!!!!!!! This was a Total Inconvenience and unacceptable, I lost money because of being late to the meeting I was in town to conduct & attend!!!!!! I am not seeing in the future using this Hotel franchise and I will reach out to corporate!!!!!

This is one of our favorite hotels in Odessa, but this time there was too much noise almost all night and without being able to sleep well at 10:30am the person who cleans the rooms goes and knocks on the door when our check out is at 12.

Bathroom sink drained very very slowly, room needs some tlc.

Great stay, staff was friendly, room and restroom was clean. Will say that I wish the breakfast bar stayed stocked all the way until 10:00 A.M., we went down around 9:30 A.M. both mornings and there was almost nothing left on hot bar or in fridge.

Hotel was very nice and property was well kept. Really like the sitting/grilling area. Was a very nice touch for anyone staying for several days. The turkey sausage options was great because we eat Kosher and was able to enjoy our breakfast. Excellent place to stay and will be staying here again.

The picture and description were deceptive. Room listed as a suit, and it was more a larger room with a couch. There were bugs in the hand soap. Staff was friendly.

Unfortunately, our room shared a headboard wall with the elevator listening to the sound of the elevator throughout the night.

Doesn't make sense the hotel wanted to hold a damage fee of $150 if my trip was prepaid. The point of prepaying is to just bring spending money.

The property is actually really nice, but the check in was really disappointing. If the front desk person needs to take a private call during check in! At least let the caller know that you are busy and don't put him on speaker so everyone can hear him. Be a little more professional!

My overall stay at the Holiday in was great. The breakfast was really good and room was clean.

The manager was very nice about this and sign me up for Holiday Inn rewards for miscommunication. I left the room clean when I left and still have not gotten my money back. I wish next time they can wait until we are actually are checked out to charge us “cleaning fee” on top of the deposit.
