Breakfast bar was very minimal too many carbs no proteins.

This is one of my favorite hotel to stay with when I am in Odessa. Great location and very friendly staff and clean facilities.

When I booked the room I was not informed about a $100 deposit or $25 deposit for kitchen appliances I’m worried that I won’t get the refund back bed sheets weren’t washed properly there was no dish soap for the silverware everything wasn’t to my liking

The room was good and clean, but the water machine at breakfast had Fungus/mold. When dispensing water staff were nice, friendly, and helpful.

Property close to highway; room was very spacious and clean; some furniture outdated, but acceptable. Front desk was always present and ready to help if anything was needed. We would stay again.

We picked this place for the kitchen and full size fridge. The dishes were all dirty with caked on food. There was no dish soap or sponge so I used the bar soap and it took awhile to clean the hard dried egg yolk from the silverware. We have dairy and egg allergies. So it was disappointing to have dirty dishes with eggs. That means the shelves and drawers were dirty too with old food crumbs. The toilet also would flush once and then took a really long time to fill up. So we used the ice bucket with tub water to refill the toilet tank.

Yes everything was clean and fresh

The hotel is dirty. The same empty beer bottles, trash, and spilled something stains were never cleaned up on the hallways the 3 days 2 nights we were there. The carpet in the rooms felt disgusting. The elevator was broke the entire time despite being told several times it was being fixed "t day". There was old soap in the showers. Breakfast was a joke.

Family of 3, stayed two nights. The breakfast is continental like advertised (no eggs or sausage/bacon). Felt safe. Not pristine clean but good enough. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious. For the price, we would stay there again.

I was asked to pay 45$ on top of Expedia price .. after non refundable booking of Expedia ..so I couldn’t just leave ! don’t expect receipt for what u pay extra... rooms smell bad .. dirty carpet & dirty bath floor .. hair in bath tub .. so old towels …! First & last time

The hotel was beat up; carpets were dirty, floor needed to be swept and none of the anti bacterial soaps were full. The room was fine, loved the kitchenette but walls needed repainting and caulking. Who picked the bathroom tile, thought someone smeared brown dirt all over the shower before i realized. Curtains, both shower and window, were shredded and filthy. Room size was spacious and TV had great channels. The male attendant was kind and friendly. The female attendant was not friendly but on her way out for the day. She left us standing in the lobby for 10 minutes while the male attendant was assisting another guest. Think the hotel was mostly beat up by is guests and the staff was just done trying. The hotel has a lot of potential if it was in the right hands.

I had to stay at a nearby hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

I laid the comforter to the 2nd bed flat on the ground and noticed huge pee stains. I immediately took the comforter off of the main bed I already slept in, and there were stains on that one as well. I was disgusted because you cannot see this with the window closed ad the room lighting is very dim. I only noticed when I opened the window. I informed the person working the desk and showed him the photos. I took other photos of the room to show how bad the overall room in general was. Torn curtains, pee stained covers, black in tub, tiles missing, etc. (See photos) I will never stay at another Main Stay. Disgusted for life. And they didn't even do anything to make it right. This was on a Saturday and it took till Thursday of the next week before a manager called me. She requested the photos but never called me back.

I loved our room. It lacked room service when we would leave for the day and come back to our room not being cleaned and having fresh towels. Could probably upgrade the variety of breakfast, but its just a suggestion

It was a long cross country trip, I was exhausted and got here in the middle of the night. It was such a relief at the end to reach a hotel where the employeeat the counter was efficient and courteous, its clean, the toom is comfortable and quit.

I will not stay at a Mainstay hotel ever again, based on my experience in Odessa, Texas. The bathroom was not working in the lobby. The floors were filthy in the room. There was no coffee. The towels and sheets were yellow and stained. The breakfast was awful. The waffle mix was separated and spoiled. The coffee in the breakfast area was practically hot water. I really couldn't believe this place had decent reviews.

Bath water just warm not hot. Breakfast was just poor. Hair dryer did not work. Room in need of repair.

The front desk person was nice. The drapes in bedroom nasty look like water stains?? Walls need repairing. Outlets in room were not operable- couldn't put plug in sockets-NONE of them. The one near the bed worked for the lamp they had plugged in--that's it. Breakfast-nope. There were only bread cereal and yogurt type items. There was waffle mix but no eggs or meat??

Nice hotel at a good price. Some of the parking area lights aren't shining, leaving a dark space.

The property was filthy. Mud and cigarette buts outside the entrance, mud all over the carpet in the lobby and the 2nd floor. My room had hair in the tub/shower and in the sink, there was some substance on the inside of the shower curtain, bare wood brackets holding up the sink. When checking out I asked the morning girl if there was some place I could fill my waterbottle with water, she had no idea. Turned out there was water in the juice machine at breakfast. Seems like something employees should know. Definitely did not deserve the 8.7 rating on Expedia’s site.

In bedroom. Our mattresses were very comfortable. Three pillows per bed. Bathroom clean. No bad smells. Price very reasonable. Fruit was too old to be served. Cold breakfast plus waffle option. Coffee, no fruit juice.

Well the stay was good but it seems that when I use this app the motel tells me I have to put a deposit down. That's fine but it takes weeks to get the deposit back

The place is very nice. It’s either new or newly remodeled. It looks like the haven’t finished building it. Lots of bare places for ice machines and vending machines. The night concierge was pretty useless! Tiffany struggled to check me in and had no clue about local eateries. She didn’t tell me about the WIFI or the password.

Property is right by an extremely busy road near an oil field site, so alot of traffic to get in or out of the property. My room was dirty, hair bits on floor and counters. Little tray thats always in a room with an ice bucket on it was next to the bathroom sink had hair all up in it around it and on it. Huge molded wet drywall damage next to the tup. Shower head was all vlogged and sprayed everywhere. And the tup was clogged to the point that a ten minute shower left you standing in ankle deep water. Hook in the closet meant to hold the ironing board was ripped out of the wall and just left on the shelf of the closet with drywall crumbs on the floor and shelf. Carpet was stained, dishes were dirty. And the ceiling are ao thin you can hear the smallest of noises. I travel often, and am out of town around 200 days a year and this in my 7 years of travel was the nastiest hotel ive ever stayed in. DO NOT STAY HERE.

My sister and I stayed 2 nights. Our room had two beds. I planned to cook and eat in the room. There was not enough cutlery to eat. I went to the desk to get more silverware. Then I needed a can opener and did not have one. They couldn’t find one at the desk. I went to The Dollar tree and bought one. Went back to the desk for dish soap as none was in the room. Breakfast was fairly standard as a continental one. However the 2nd day, there were no plates to put my food. They chose to save money on coffee supplies. The morning coffee was very very weak - the color of weak tea. On our first day, our receptionist was ok when she was at her desk. However, each time I came downstairs, she was on the lobby sofa snuggling with her boyfriend. I mean GOOD GRIEF. I need an extended hotel next week in Odessa, with a kitchenette,’but will NOT return to this Mainstay

The young lady at check in was great. The room was nice. But because I had to put a 100.00 deposit just because I used a third party to book the room, will keep me from ever staying at MainStay again. It would have been nice to know that a head of time. Now I have to wait a week to get my money back on my card.

I recently stayed at your hotel and want to express my disappointment regarding the breakfast offered. Your website and the information provided at the hotel clearly state that breakfast is served from 7 to 10 a.m. However, when I came down at 9 a.m. to get coffee, I was told by the reception that no more would be served. Additionally, upon my arrival, I noticed that the reception staff were more focused on their personal matters on their phones rather than assisting me with my check-in.

Love it

Nice and clean room, very spacious and quiet. I gave 4 stars only because at this moment there isn’t really anything walking distance but to a few gas stations with usual things. But something is in the making right next door to this hotel that looks very promising in the future. If you’re looking for a pool this place doesn’t have one but I never really use the pool at what ever place I stay anyways so this didn’t bother me. Probably why it’s quiet here too.

Room was clean and the front desk was super accommodating.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. However, the TV remote was dead and required 2 visits from staff to get it working and synced to the TV. The microwave did not heat. The sink took several minutes to drain fully after washing hands/face. I had to clean any dishes I used (a couple glasses and some silverware) because they were greasy and obviously not clean. We were in a room (301) right by the stairs and the stairway door closing could be heard loudly in our room, but that's probably more an issue of it being a room booked by a third party (placement is not ideal when not booking directly). The best part of the room was the comfortable bed.

At check in, I was told they ran out of key cards. I was given the housekeeping key and was told they’d come up to get it. It was 9:30 at night and I was traveling alone with two kids, so I didn't feel comfortable opening the door for anyone. I just brought the key back down after getting in the room. The pull out sofa mattress had a gross stain on it, so me and the kids slept in the king together. We were only there for the one night and left early the next morning. It wasn’t the worst but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I love the Handicap Assesiblity in the room.. But i didnt like that the housekeeper came knocking at the door in the moring .. around between 8am n 9am.. even tho i put up the sign saying Do not Disturb....

$100 deposit which isn't mentioned and no wifi/internet. Breakfast is bare minimum, milk was out, and coffee was so weak I passed. No shampoo or conditioner was available in room.carpet needed to be vacuumed.

The room was massive, and very comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay for more than one night.

Place was falling apart, pillows were really small and bed wasn’t comfortable at all. When ask front desk for more pillows. They said no.

The hotel was nice, clean, had every thing you need except they hid 3 tiny pillows on a king size bed, when we called to ask for better pillows they said they didn’t have any…..(really?). My husband asked to speak with a manager which they would not let him do. . . Eventually they brought up 2 more of the tiny pillows we already had….

I never bother with breakfast but they said there was one! 10/10 would stay there again when we visit next, Thank you

It was very unsettling the amount of staff members that were on site at any given time.

You get what you pay for. It was the cheapest. It was WAY better than a motel. The staff were VERY nice, but the rooms were not as clean as I am use to at hotels. Also the pillows were miniature, but again, it was good for the price.

Had to send a different employee to stay here as the original employee tested positive for covid and this manager refused to allow us to cancel/reschedule this trip. The employee that stayed here was supposed to stay across town closer to the location. Thankfully i needed 2 employees in the area same night or i would have lost $122 to a greedy manager Eric because he would rather i send a covid positive person to the hotel instead of canceling my reservation. Will never stay here again partially for fear of people who are C19+ who travel anyway because he wont refund money, partially due to terrible hospitality

Hotel appears nice. Our pull out matress was stained with a dirty sheet on it. We had to ask for a clean sheet. All of our towels were dingy and our pillows were tiny squares. I would not stay at this hotel again or recommed this hotel.

Staff was never around. Rooms were not cleaned daily. You had to throw your own trash. No towels. One roll of toile paper for a three night stay.

I had to give them a $100 deposit because I booked through a third party (Hotels.com), and the front desk clerk told us our room#, but not where the room was, what time checkout was, if there was breakfast— nothing. I didn’t think too much about it since I was in a rush, but when it came time to find our room, we weren’t sure which direction to go in. Other than that, the room was clean. It had a bit of a stuffy, dingy smell, but it was cleaned well, and spacious enough for all 5 of us.

The room was giant which was fantastic but we checked in at like 1:30am and the front desk girl seemed like she had fallen asleep and wasn’t taking very loud. I kept having to say what. I was tired so maybe it was me. She said we had to put a deposit on the room which was fine I’ve done that at other hotels to but she wanted the money I cash. It seem super weird to me. Anyway, she had to call the manager and figured out how to do it with card.

But breakfast need to improve. There are only a few option choose .

The tv remote in my room would not work. Went to the front desk to ask for help. Had to wait 15 minutes for the staff to finish her personal call. She didn’t even acknowledge me standing there. She finally got off the phone and handed me a new remote. That one would not work either. Went back to the desk ans she was on the phone again. Waited 5 minutes and gave up. Just left the remote on her desk and watched movies on my phone. 😡

In such a dusty and dirty area this establishment is excellent when it comes to hospitality and cleanliness!

Good place to stay

I will never deal with Expedia again. With me dealing with you I paid more, was required to give a $100 deposit. I never intended to use your site in the first place but was automatically thrown there when making reservation. I guess I should have paid better attention. It will not happen again with you or your web site.

The only thing i DIDNT like about the property was the TV that was too high tech for me to figure out by myself, but the staff very courteously came to my room to help me.

I was very surprised at how nice the hotel was because it was so reasonably priced. The beds were very comfortable, it was quiet, and the room was clean.

First, being misinformed about the deposit being taken out of my credit card now I have to wait 7 days when I could have just used cash. No access to the pots & pans for guest, employee takes key. Morning staff on Sunday was extremely rude & unprofession

Bathtub had soap scum all over it and the floor was dirty. Also they took a $100 deposit and when I checked out 2 days later they said it Would go back to my account automatically. That was Thursday this is sunday.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Full Kitchen already comes with some basic things you would need to prep and make a meal for your family. Housekeeping ladies are really nice and very quick to deliver requests to our room. Front desk staff members are great, and very helpful. Breakfast is limited but was better than most with waffle makers in service, hot coffee/tea and juice, variety of fruits, cereals and yogurts. Overall experience was GREAT!! Thank you!!
