    Roaches in the room. I have both pictures and videos that proves it! The size of the roach also proves that there's an infestation at the hotel. I stopped by the front desk to ask for a refund, they told me to call booking.com. Then the hotel refuse to issue a refund upon being contacted by booking.com with bogus reasons. If they keep up with their lies I will push the matter to Florida DBPR, the better business bureau and a consumer complaint to the Florida attorney general. Their handling of the situation is simply bad business practices.

    Location to other venues was good So much: 1. Cleanliness 2. Broken blinds 3. Cracked walls 4. Dirty tub and enamel removal 5. Biggest thing was being awaken at 3am in the middle of the night to collect deposit. Very scary

    The property wasn't very well maintained. The rooms aren't that nice, but we had to stay for 5 nights and we wanted to save money. The amenities were tiny and not very helpful. They said the staff only came to refresh the rooms every 3 days and no one ever did come to refresh anything. We had to ask for fresh towels and new amenities. I took the trash out myself a couple times. The whole property smells strongly of weed. It was hard to sleep at night because that's when the smell was the strongest. The air conditioning was ok, just the unit under the window. It kept us mostly comfortable but it had to be on the entire time. The halls were hot and muggy and smelled. I will say that the front desk staff was very friendly and did help with my requests for a hair dryer, fresh towels, and amenities when asked, but the cleaning staff was always on their phones when we walked by. The location isn't a bad one, it's near many of the major roads we needed to use and that part was easy. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. If you need to save money over anything else, it's not the worst option. I will rethink how I save money on my trips moving forward, as I'd rather stay somewhere cleaner, where the staff at least takes out the garbage and refreshes towels more often, and it does not smell strongly like weed a majority of the time.

    Awful experience. Filthy property. No towels. Had to beg for towels every day and actually walk to the laundry to get it. Never seen anything like it. Complete joke. Not even tissues in the room. Bedsheets were used, dirt on the floors, used pillow sheets, and bugs in beds. And, it was bait and switch. The reservation was for Wyndham, which is supposed to be a grade up. When we got there, the property eas signed as “Baymont”. I had stayed at Baymont before and would never reserve a room at Baymont. We couldn’t find anything else in short notice so I settled for Wyndham, which a decent in my experience. DO NOT RESERVE AT THIS OROPERTY, unless you want to ruin your vacation.

    The staff was rude and had no courtesy. The room housekeeping was terrible and no one cleaned the room during our entire stay for 7 days despite several reminders. The hotel didn’t even had the basic necessities like soap and shampoo. Haven’t seen a Hotel like this. It seems they are going to close down soon and I don’t expect anyone will revisit again.

    My family and I flew to Orlando and booked our stay here online as a bundle deal. Upon arrival the outside of the property didnt look too terrible. I have definitely stayed in worse looking hotels and even worse areas. The lobby was clean, had fresh coffee and creamer so that was a plus. The front desk staff was very friendly. He didnt really go over any hotel amenities such as laundry area, breakfast, pool that sort of thing which wasnt a big deal, but i thought it was odd not to have that information. We had a group of 5 so we had two conjoinging rooms on the first floor. The rooms were old, in need of remodel. There were old cigarette stains on the edge of the bathtub, no fridge, no microwave. The bedside lamp on the table between both beds had one light that was broken. The knob did not exist. The beds were not terrible, just normal hotel beds. The AC/heater had a loud annoying hum to it and the lower you turned the temperature, the louder the hum became. We got in late that night so we decided to shower the next evening after we returned to our room. Upon showering, there was no hot water. It was lukewarm, like right before you run out of hot water at home. Upon getting out of the shower, my kids and I watched 3 roaches crawl on the wall next to the door conjoinging room. We ended up switching rooms to the 3rd floor where it was better, but not worth more than 2 stars. Be aware.

    I stayed for 9 nights and housekeeping never entered my room. Each day I had to go to front desk to turn in towels and get clean ones. I had to ask for kleenex and toilet paper. I had to empty my own garbage. Wifi didn't always work and shower was usually luke warm at best. The pool was also closed which was disappointing on the 85 degree days! With all that said, Raul was an excellent employee always friendly and helpful.

    Toilet did not stop running and we woke up to a flooded bathroom. They were going to switch us to a new room and as we were packng up to move two big cockroaches were climbing down the wall. Kids were screaming and there's no way we were staying there. Have to contact Expedia and they have to speak with the manager to get us refunded. Still waiting

    There were roaches everywhere. In the fridge on the walls in bathroom. I paid a lot of money to stay there. Also they messed up the rooms. It was suppose to be an adjoined room the room my kids were to stay in the tub was broken and blinds. So my kids had to end up all the way down the hall by themselves with the friend that I was with, and it was a complete nightmare. The shower was no hot water. We bathe every single day and ice cold water the roaches everywhere it was unpleasant. I will never again stay there. I wish I could ever be refunded for all the money that I spent. I spent $1500 for 11 days and I came all the way from New York very Disappointed.

    Key issues include: 1. Severe hygiene deficiencies throughout the premises and inside the guest room. 2. Unprofessional and ineffective customer service, with repeated failures to resolve basic issues. 3. Trash and debris present in common areas, including elevators and corridors. 4. Non-functioning television, which required service intervention and then failed again the following day. 5. Shower missing a curtain, making proper use impossible. 6. No bath towels provided upon check-in. 7. No facial soap provided. 8. Empty shampoo container, despite requesting replenishment, which was never provided. 9. Due to serious hygiene concerns, I was forced to purchase my own bed sheets to avoid sleeping directly on hotel bedding. 10. Insects present on the bedside table, resulting in the disposal of all snacks and beverages. 11. False and misleading advertising, as the images displayed on your website bear no resemblance to the actual condition of the property.     It’s not a laquinta, it’s changed to some other hotel as the hotel keys and sign on it state but all billing and everything else states laquinta which is shady. I was charged three separate one hundred dollar charges by the second night and nobody could tell me why. The room smells like old carpet and the mold and mildew from the bathroom. There wasn’t hot water for a single shower.

    The room was clean, the staff were kind, but we were there 6 days and they cleaned the room only once after 4 days. We had to ask for clean towels at least once. The furniture was all on one side of the room, with the beds on the other side, so no table by the bedside until I moved what I believe was the bedside table. No plug for phones by the bed either and no USB or USB-C plugs.

    The room smelled like mold. Everything was broken and falling apart. Wifi didn't work. The toilet wouldn't flush. The shower rod was falling off the wall. I didn't see bugs, but felt itchy all night. There was nothing at breakfast I could eat and no one was replenishing or cleaning up. Everything was sticky and gross. It was a miserable stay. I'm not one to complain and I've stayed at very low end hotels before, but this was terrible.

    There was no internet access for an entire week. The hotel informed us it was “under repair,” but no clear timeline was provided. We stayed for 9 days, and internet service was never restored during our stay. At check-in, we were given only one towel despite being two guests. I had to request an additional towel, and I also had to ask for a blanket because none was provided in the room. Additionally, there was no room service or housekeeping. We later found out that guests are required to notify the front desk if they want their room cleaned, trash removed, towels or sheets changed, or toiletries refilled. This policy was never communicated to us at check-in. As a result, we had to buy our own soap, shampoo, and garbage bags, take out our own trash, and reuse the same towels for over a week. The pool was out of service and completely empty during our stay. This was not disclosed at the time of booking. There were also no outdoor areas or seating available to relax or spend time outside. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable hospitality standards. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    That said, the front desk staff were a highlight of the stay. They were courteous, patient, and genuinely accommodating throughout the process. Unfortunately, there were issues accessing the room. The initial key cards did not work, and replacements also failed, requiring a staff member to escort us and manually let us into the room. Once inside, the condition of the room was disappointing. There was a noticeable musty, moldy odor that persisted throughout the stay. The bathroom showed clear signs of neglect. The tile was dirty and had a sticky residue, possibly from spilled candy or another substance. The bathtub appeared dingy with visible rust, and the lamps in the room were not functioning. The one redeeming feature was the bed, which was comfortable and allowed for a decent night’s sleep. However, overall cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly detracted from the experience. While the staff made a strong effort to help, the property itself requires substantial improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and clarity of branding to meet typical expectations.

    Em 9 noites que ficamos hospedados não houve limpeza do quarto nem troca de toalhas, não houve reposição do papel higiênico, não houve recolha do lixo e para finalizar cobram uma taxa de depósito no valor de 100$ e não devolvem, pois dizem que esse valor será devolvido após conferir senão havia nada quebrado no quarto, fiz check-out e após 5 dias ainda não devolveram o valor.     I was double charged for the security deposit, confirmed by my credit card company. The room key did not work for an entire day due to Wi-Fi/system issues. There was no housekeeping at all, we had to take out our own trash, and clean towels were not available. The breakfast was very poor, the pool was out of service, and the internet did not work. Employees were noisy in the hallways early in the morning, making it hard to sleep. The refrigerator and toilet were noisy, and there were cockroaches in the room. Staff were unhelpful and even complained about their jobs to guests instead of providing service. The only positive was hot water. I would not stay here again.

    En primer lugar, deseo destacar positivamente la calidad de las camas, que resultaron muy cómodas y contribuyeron a un descanso adecuado. A esto se sumó la ausencia de toallas, un elemento básico de hospitalidad que me vi obligado/a a solicitar, generando una inconveniencia innecesaria tras mi llegada. El problema más serio ocurrió al finalizar mi estancia. El depósito de garantía que se cargó a mi tarjeta no ha sido reembolsado dentro del plazo acordado. He contactado con recepción y sigo a la espera de una solución y una explicación clara sobre el retraso. En conclusión, mientras la base para una buena estancia existe (como la comodidad de las camas), los fallos en detalles esenciales —suministros básicos, privacidad y transparencia en las gestiones financieras— empañaron gravemente la experiencia.

    Let’s address the huge misconception first the hotel is labeled as a Laquinta when in fact it’s a Baymont. When we got our room key we went to the room only to see that the room was not in fact ready for us it was so foul in smell that my 10 year old ran to the bathroom to throw up. We immediately called the front desk and asked for a new room they accommodated no problem but when we got to the new room there weren’t any towels no problem small fix right? Wrong, when we went to the front desk to ask for the towels they acted as if they didn’t want to give us the towels I kept informing the receptionist that we need 3 because we don’t have any and the receptionist kept asking me if I didn’t have any I asked if they wanted to come to room to see that we didn’t have any towels because why would it be a problem for them to give me towels. All in all if you’re just looking for a place to rest your head and go this would be the place anything more go elsewhere.

    Mold, bugs, no usable pool, no wifi, cable and key cards didn't work for over 24 hours, elevator kept breaking down, the new general manager told multiple families to leave on or around Christmas due to a company policy that none of the staff was following. My family was told to leave because we complained about the state of the hotel. The rooms and hallway smelled like mold. At least the water pressure was good!

    The room was ok, seemed clean - except the only towel was the bathmat. Ours was an unplanned layover in Orlando for a 7 am flight out. When we arrived at 12:05 AM, there were other people waiting for service and one guy at the desk who did not seem to know what he was doing. A second man came and helped him but it was still 40 minutes before we got to our room. The next morning when we left at 5 am, we asked the original guy if perhaps we could have a muffin or something as we could not stay for breakfast and we were told they were still in the fridge. Not only was he inadequately trained but he seemed to have no compassion for his customers.

    The room was terrible. We got there at 10 pm after driving for 3 hrs and the sheets and towels were stained. The toilet wasn't cleaned properly. The fridge was leaking and the carpet was wet around it. We requested new towels and sheets. They only "change" the sheets and they had stained as well. We had to go down to the lobby to request new towels and they didn't had any and told us to wait 2 hrs for clean ones. When we finally got them, as you can probably guess, they still had stains on them. We requested a new fridge and they told us maintenance was going to fix it but no one ever showed up and we made the request twice. Another thing was the toiletries. I wish I could add a picture on this review. They give you a very small, very thin bar soap and a 2 n 1 pouch of shampoo and conditioner. The bathroom lights were flickering, the phone in the room wasn't working. We tried calling the property from our phones and the line was disconnected.

    My stay at La Quinta Inn Orlando South was very disappointing. The first room had a strong, unpleasant odor. The front desk moved us to another room, but there were no towels. When I asked, they said they were short on towels and had to open another room just to give us one. On top of that, the $100 deposit they placed on hold was never returned to my account, and I haven’t been able to reach anyone at the hotel by phone. Very frustrating experience.

    The tub was dirty and toilet ran the whole time. The room wasn’t set up for the amount of people in my party, ie towels, rags, bed clothes. Air worked but that’s should be bare minimum in central Florida. Won’t make this mistake twice .

    They had one brown roll of tiolet paper done and the other had so little, been used, front desk advised that they have to use complete tiolet paper, so they put used tissue in the rooms so it can be completely used, which is disgusting and contaminated from previous guest touching there dirty hands all over while using rest room, that was most disgusting thing i have heard.     I am very upset that I paid up front in advance for a hotel room at this hotel and I drove 2 hours from my home just to get to the hotel and the front deck staff the man was very rude and hold me that I had to pay 100 dollar deposit or I could not get a room to sleep in while traveling I didn't have the money but my room was already paid so I had to drive 2 hours all the way back home and the hotel would not refund me my money or accommodate me with a room this is terrible way to go someone taking and keeping my money for a service I never received I will never ever recommend no one to stay at this hotel or book hotels services anymore

    Was given the worst room in the hotel upon arrival. The room was infested with roaches and the faucet and shower knob was defective. Informed male Hispanic staff member of deficiencies, and no correction was made. Roaches were crawling on my family’s suitcase and clothing. Advised manager of infestation, and switched our room, the new room had a inoperable TV. Upon check out with James, James was rude and lacked any manners. I Will never stay at this hotel again.

    The hotel room itself was good, but i had booked my stay on expedia. When i tried to check in, i was told i did not have a reservation. I showed them my Expedia confirmation & was told that was of no help to them as it was an Expedia confirmation number. As it was a holiday weekend, i had to book a room for significantly more than what my reservation was for. I called Expedia & they said it was a problem with the hotel. I don’t know exactly where the problem lies, but Expedia washed their hands of the whole situation. After this experience, i see NO BENEFIT IN BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA.

    The room was clean, bo funny smell, but some roaches here and there. Breakfast was included, it didn't have a lot of options, but still a good option to have a bite. It also has a restaurant walking distance. My room was facing a main avenue so you can hear all the traffic at all times. The plumbing need dome work.     However, before we even opened the door, we were hit with a strong, awful smell of smoke. The room itself was extremely outdated, the bathroom was leaking, and there were small cockroaches everywhere. We couldn’t stay more than 10 minutes. The smoke smell was especially concerning due to my daughter’s allergies—it simply wasn’t safe for us to remain in that environment.     When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the strong odor of marijuana in the lobby. There is a very long line at midnight and the reception person was not efficient. I waited over 20 minutes to check in, look to the right and saw that there is a note on the elevator saying that the elevator was broken. When it was finally my turn to check in, I was told that the elevator was broken. I was also told that the room may or may not be clean and ready for me as he was not sure if cleaning staff was able to go to the rooms.. I also asked how he was doing and he said "I'm tired". Well, we are all tired. I had to carry all my things up the stairs to the third floor. I had asked the fronk desk: Why are they even allowing to book rooms when the elevator is broken, and he had no response for that. The room was not very clean, there was no soap, and overall just not in very good condition. Absolutely awful all the way around.

    The elevator was broken and they put us on the second floor so we had to drag everything upstairs that’s very inconvenient. Then they put us in a room where the air conditioning barely worked and it is in Orlando Florida so it was very hot and uncomfortable the whole night they told us that the air conditioning would start to get better, but it did not And they had no recourse on giving us any money back.     I’ve paid for so many extra services that I never actually receive—larger seats, seat reservations, internet access, and more. On top of that, things got so confusing: I thought both of my reservations were with Esprit Airlines, but it turned out one of them was with Frontier. When I explained that I had booked my flight with Esprit, they denied it, of course, and I was forced to purchase another ticket with Esprit.

    This property was HORRIBLE. I found 3 live roaches in my room. The bathroom reeked of urine. The AC unit was LOUD.The room had a weird maple syrup smell and the floor hadn't been swept or mopped as there were food particles visible throughout the room . The lobby and hallway had a strong presence of marijuana.

    Only good to stay for one night. There is no room service . They dont clean as normal other properties. Pool was poor. Not enough towel ... washroom items missing. Need to go ask everything @ front desk. Recommend for only one night stand

    The price was good especially for only one night. The room was clean and the staff friendly. My air conditioner had a weird groan to it when it cycled off, which was a little annoying when trying to fall asleep. The breakfast was the worst I have seen. The juice was basically water with some kind of strange flavor added to it. Nothing really to choose from. Even the coffee wasn't that great.

    The property was next to the interstate. At 3:00 PM when I checked in there was not a bar of soap in the room. The front desk gentleman said they were out and a truck would deliver the soap "sometime tonight." At 4:00 AM the noise from the garbage truck was really loud. At 7:00 AM the female desk clerk said she knew nothing about the soap delivery and there was no soap to be had. The lobby chairs were old and dirty. The chairs in the breakfast area were all dirty with old food objects that had never been wiped off and cleaned up. Nasty! At least the coffee was good.

    No issues with parking. It was quiet at night and nothing sketchy in the parking lot. The lobby is clean. There’s a TV in the lobby and plenty of chairs. Also, coffee and water are in the lobby. The continental breakfast was decent. Nothing to complain about. The hotel is five minutes from FLORIDA mall if you’re trying to stay close to Disney this probably isn’t the exact location Majority of the staff that I met was super nice and friendly. Inside of my room, the TV did not work, there were some stains on the bedsheet, the pillows were not great at all. The shower worked with hot water, clean towels, clean tub. The air conditioner worked and it was nice and cool.

    Breakfast was good (fruit, cereal, waffles maker, coffee and juices, yogurt, toast and bagels…). Our bathroom floor was visibly sticky even though I tried cleaning it with a baby wipe. The room could have used better vacuuming especially under the beds (my kid lost a toy so I had to look) and the tv was not working. The room was quiet however and the beds were comfortable. Also, only had 1 pair of towels for a room that sleeps 4 so had to ask for more.

    We stayed for 10 days, party of 5 - 2 adults, 2 teenage and 1 older child.. we asked for 3 towels every day on the 4th day male front desk told us to reuse our towels. On last day we saw 2 baby roaches. Hairdryer on wall broken / not working and only 1 plug worked for charging our phones.

    Price was great, breakfast was okay (note for allergy peeps the lucky charms had cheerios in them, good thing we picked it up), my biggest beef is that the thing clearly said there was a pool and hot tub, there is no pool and hot tub in the hotel, they tell you to go across the street. AC blows cold!

    The first room we were given had 3 roaches. I went to the front desk they moved our room. Being that there was an event we couldn’t find any other vacancies. The second room was old and run down I went and purchased product to wipe things down. The breakfast was nothing but waffles, cereal, bread and bagels. We cut our trip short. I’ve stayed at Wyndham plenty of times and have NEVER experienced this before. Oh and the elevator didn’t work so with all out luggage that was a lot!

    Didnt reimbursed the $100 they promised after the stay. Ended up paying $175 for a 12 hr stay. Its not worth the stay. Better off at a motel. Plus there were roaches, coffee was bad, and the shower was weak.

    The lady who checked me in was a complete sweetheart. The one that was there when I checked out, and apparently, the housekeeping manager was rude and dismissive. I was in a room close to an exit to the outside, and the door was being slammed all night. People were very loud late at night on mt last night when I needed the most rest for my business event in the morning.

    To their credit, management handled the situation quickly and professionally. They moved us to another room and made sure we were taken care of, which I really appreciated. The second room was much better and clean. The complimentary breakfast was okay — not a huge selection, but enough to get the day started. The area around the hotel felt safe and was close to restaurants and major attractions, which was a plus. Overall, it wasn’t a perfect stay, but the customer service helped turn things around. With some improvements in room cleanliness, this could be a solid budget option in Orlando.

    We weren’t greeted with a hello, the woman just stared.. but the young Hispanic man stepped in to answer my question, he was polite. The room was clean, we didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast since it finished at 9a, but when I wanted to before I checked out around 640a there weren’t ready with breakfast yet.     The worse La Quinta Inn we have ever stayed at. Rooms were dirty smelled. Bathrooms had bad smell every time it was flushed. Management did nothing to correct, Breakfast was not continental. Ran out of bagels, yogurt and fruit. Very basic nothing like advertised on web site..

    Didnt even get past check in. Unexpected fees. As soon as i said i didnt want to pay that, the manager of the hotel, over the phone, began to instantly yell at me, berate me, threaten me, and talk over me. Then he came up to the hotel to continue because i said i wouldnt leave without confirmation of cancel and refund which required the presense of a manager in the first place. The place looks run down. Its "clean" but not maintained. I can only imagine what rooms look like.
