Clean room, staff, breakfast

Our room was spacious and cool. Very appreciated after a long day. After dinner we settled in to watch alittle tv before bedtime. The tv would not work. Out front desk came up to see what could be done and gave us the room just next door.

We had an issue with our first room and Tonya was awesome she put us in a new room and was very accommodating. She definitely makes the place better.

Easy to get to Sticky floors. Poor breakfast. Not a nice location

Everything was good EXCEPT Wendy the check out lady this AM gave me that classic southern attitude of hey boy you got a dog. Hey boy your credit card declined when it clearly wasn’t. Why do people have to ruin a nice hotel stay especially when you’re having time and being polite. Meh.

The staff was amazing! Everyone was very friendly. The rooms are a bit tired and could use updating. Very little lighting.

I was on the 2nd floor and It was a nice quiet hotel. I dint hear people yelling or running up and down the halls. Theres a pond out front you can feed the turtles. They swim up to you looking for food.

Breakfast menu was fresh. Great coffee as always. Check in easy.

Beds could need an update. Little springy and didn't sleep to well. Only issue. Other then that peaceful and quiet

Breakfast was great. We were a little later coming down and she made everything fresh! Tables were clean, and food areas were full! Checkin Saturday was wonderful. Our checkin hostess was local and it was a nice touch!

It’s very peaceful with the pretty fountain out front. Well lit and very welcoming. The in room coffee pot was not the best. A small keurig would be nice :)

Nice location The room was a bit run down and could use better cleaning /maintenance. There was a long line of pink mildew on the tub, the desk was sticky, and a child had significantly drawn on an electrical outlet in crayon. Staff seemed stressed.

Restaurants and shops right beside this location. The room was clean and the bed slept great. There was nothing I didn’t like

Mixup upon checking in. Another group was given the same room as we were, after we had already taken residence in the room. Issue was resolved by the front desk and staff comfortably, everybody was smiling.

Meal prep server was snappy with guests

The staff was professional and caring. Breakfast was good. Convenient to Huntington Beach State Park and Murrell's Inlet.

Excellent choice for visiting Brookgreen Gardens!

Excellent, friendly, hard working staff. They advertise a hot breakfast, but you should stick with the cold food. They have plenty of bagels and cereals etc. But the eggs and meats did not look good. I saw lots of hungry teenagers eating the hot stuff, but the adults tended to take one look and then move away.

Room was in great condition tho there was a little bit of smell but my nose quickly became accustomed to it. Not a bad smell, but perhaps a "older room" smell. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Lovation was great and parking was convenient.

Breakfast could have been better and the lay out of the food was very cramped.

Room wasn't as nice as expected for the price we payed and from our previous experiences with Hampton Inns. Carpet needed to be cleaned. Room was okay, but not pleasant.

Super clean and comfortable room with thoughtful design options, plenty of parking, friendly service. Breakfast area a bit crowded at peak times and a bit limited if carbs aren't your thing, skipped after first day. Only issue I had as a light sleeper was noise from the room upstairs constantly walking round from about 5:30am on as the floors/ceilings are thin. Would repeat if needing to stay at a hotel in Pawleys again over the resort across the street that was truly filthy and run down in the units we tried.

Coffee was welcome at 6 am when we checked out! We did not try the breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds comfortable. We were confused with TV as it looked like they offered lots of streaming platforms. But when we chose Netflix I was required to sign in with my own acct (which I couldn't get to work so no tv for us), But that was minor as we didn’t care about watching tv. Check-in and out was easy even though we arrived early. We’ve stayed here before and will again.

The door to our room had a good size piece of wood missing. It appeared someone had tried to open a locked door with some sort of toll and took a chunk out of the edge of the door. The door still closed and locked, but not a very good look. My biggest disappointment was in the filthy carpet. I had taken off my shoes and wore only a pair of socks for most of the time in the room. I was shocked at how absolutely black my white socks were after walking on the carpet. It definitely needs a good cleaning or total replacement.

The couch was worn out and smelled. the carpet was dirty and so was the bathroom floor, I know because i wiped up the floors after a shower and the cloth was dirty and i had new white soks on and they got dirt from the carpet and bathroom floors

We checked in late and were greeted professionally and kindly by Tyler. He went out of his way to check on us throughout our stay. The breakfast was restocked as needed and convenient.

The outside door area where a condensation drain line was located was covered in wet cigarette butts. Pretty nasty looking. Also built up mildew in my shower and hair on the shower walls. Not very pleasant. Room 137 Pawleys Island.

Our room had a very strong carpet shampoo odor, but the hotel staff allowed us to move to another room. The second room was fine and had no smell.

Needed a last minute hotel. Very expensive for a Hampton inn but was it clean and people were nice

Staff and attendants were great. It was easy to locate and a great environment.

Because I went through Expedia, my room reservation request was not honored. I had reserved a one bedroom suite and I was given a regular room with two queen beds.

Apart from 68 degree air-conditioned hallways, the rest of the facility was very comfortable. We were disappointed that hotels.com's description of the amenities was not correct. There is no hot tub at this facility, and management says they have tried to get hotels.com to correct the error without success. Breakfast was very good,and our room was nice. The location was close to everything we wanted to do.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pool was wonderful, it was very close to the beach and Brookgreen gardens. The room was spacious and it was very quiet. The beds were a little on the hard side but hey we’re not there to sleep the whole time either. I will def be staying here again and highly recommend it.

Excellent service. Front desk staff went above and beyond both day and night crews. We had a lot of issues with a disabled family member. The staff responded quick to all our requests.

The staff really made the stay, they were very polite and informative. The room was just a bit humid (given the temperature and time of year I suppose that's the culprit) and was just in good condition but wasn't bad at all. The bed was a bit firm but that's just my preference as well. I've had better but it wasn't the worst.

Great location near beaches, friendly staff, dog friendly, excellent choice for families and pets to stay in Litchfield by the Sea with easy access to beautiful beaches and great little beach shops and restaurants.

Good location but this property needs to be renovated and get rid of stained smelly carpet.

The walls are thin and the bed was uncomfortable. We heard lots of noise even with a sound machine. Our bathroom was moldy. I told someone at checkout about the mold and the person did not seem to care.

The AC was efficient but way too noisy. It kept shutting on and off all night

Front desk attendants were excellent. Pool was clean, breakfast was very good. All staff were friendly.

Arrived on Friday afternoon and checked out Monday morning and room was never attended to. Trash cans were full, towels were not replaced and beds not straightened. Perhaps that service is no longer provided but that was not relayed to me.

My bed was not made for three days. I always leave $5 for that service but unfortunately they missed out on $10. Whoever turned the room over got $5. Otherwise I was pleased with my stay.

The front desk has been exceptionally helpful from Gerald to Nicholas checking in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. I had a great stay.

Though the room was clean, the gym had dust bunnies around the equipment. There were no signs in the gym about wiping equipment down once done...was I the only one to do that? Breakfast was great and front staff accommodating and friendly. Turn right off the property for a great paved trail walk next to the road for dog walking.

The staff were extremely nice. The only thing I didn't like was that the housekeeping wrapped my Victoria Secret satin pajama pants up with the linen and couldn't find them, so it was lost.

Hotels are limited in pawleys island. This location was good for proximity to a few restaurants in walking distance

This a very dated property- hard to believe it’s a Hampton Inn. Looks like Hilton is treating this as a cash cow. Needs serious refreshing- the carpet in the halls look like something from an old bar. The bed was like a rock. The only reason they can charge as much per night as they do is because there is so little hotel competition in the area.

Charles "Eddie" checked me in. Prior to my check in I had an issue with the 3rd party site used to reserve and Charles personally called me, kept me on the phone until my issue was resolved. He made it a point to warmly greet me when I checked in and I really appreciate the customer service.

Very nice property in a convenient location. Room was large, clean and layout was conducive to work and play. Front desk staff was polite and helpful.

Hampton Inn beds are on the hard side other than that. It was great stay for a quick night.

We stayed for a few days to travel over to Conway, SC (about 25-30 minutes away) to see Georgia Southern play Coastal Carolina in football. It was close to everything in Pawleys Island and Muriells Inlet. Hotel was quiet and we had no issues during our stay.

Shower didn’t work. Bad communication. And it’s my wedding night and they didn’t even care. See ya. Never staying here again and you shouldn’t either. And I’m a local so trust me. NEVER AGAIN.

Check-in took over a half hour. I was told that since I booked the reservation through Expedia they needed a virtual credit card from Expedia to apply to the booking. I had paid in full prior to arrival. The room was OK, but the walls and ceilings have absolutely no sound proofing, so I was awakened at 5:30 in the morning by the person directly above us and could hear them walking around like they were in our room. The plumbing is similar, in that you could hear the shower, toilet, etc. run from above.
