    When I asked the attendant about it, her response was abrupt and dismissive. She simply said it was “policy,” and when I expressed that I found it unreasonable, she replied, “Sir, you don’t have to stay here.” That kind of response is unprofessional and unhelpful, especially when addressing a paying guest. I even asked whether she would help arrange another hotel, but received no support. To make matters worse, I still have not received my deposit back. I was told it would be returned after the room inspection, which felt unnecessary and insinuating, as if I couldn’t be trusted to leave the room in good condition. Overall, this was a very negative experience driven largely by poor customer service. The interaction left me feeling disrespected, and it has ensured that I will not return. Ben West.

    This place is so old, uncomfortable and expensive.. No breakfast is included in the reservation you need to paid separately even for the parking. if you have to stay there make sure you take a room in the third floor if not you'll have the night of your life listening to everything that goes on above you (every little thing).

    I do not like the fact that i can stay in a Hampton/Hilton property and a free breakfast is included and the Courtyard Bistro does not offer that. We could have been warned that the TV (Fox) was out because of a Fox Dish contract dispute. I wanted to watch the baseball game.     That was one of the worst explanations I have ever heard in hospitality. If check-in is after 3 PM, that means I cannot enter before that time — but from that moment on, the room I paid for should be available. Otherwise, does it mean that at 10 PM my room might still not be ready? She did not acknowledge the issue and insisted that this happens frequently in many hotels. This is the first hotel where I have ever heard such a response. Ten minutes later, she managed to get all three rooms ready. However, her reaction was surprising — she seemed irritated that I questioned the situation. Although she said she was doing her best to help, her facial expression clearly showed that she was not pleased with being confronted. Room quality: normal. It serves the basic purpose of sleeping. I expected the pool to be slightly heated, as in another hotel in Destin where I stayed before, but the water was very cold. Even though the hotel does not explicitly promise a heated pool, in winter this becomes a negative point.

    The location was good for what we were looking to do. TV channel lineup was spartan and most of that lineup is news and sports. YUCK! Breakfast is not a self-serve buffet style , but one has to order and wait for preparation. There was only one person staffing the breakfast area and demand was that the poor lady was nearly having an anxiety attack. The wait for the food was too long and the quality of said food was a solid 'meh'

    Room and rate were great $4.50 for a cup of coffee was ridiculous! Refills were also 4.50. We spent over $40.00 at the bistro and the food was not grilled or cooked as described. All the food was microwaved and was not the same as the description on the menu. The lady serving us seemed a bit irritated that she had to get up and help us.

    The stay was fine but I forgot two rings on the ledge in the bathroom in room 328. My husband called to see if they were turned in after the room cleaning. He was told that the cleaning supervisor was gone for the day and we would get a call back the next day. No phone call was received so he called back and was told the same thing. We realized at that point that I was not going to get my rings back. The cleaning staff at this location are not trustworthy with your personal property and the staff doesn’t care about the concerns of their customers. I realize it was my mistake for leaving my rings but they should have been turned into to list and found. We would have gladly paid for the shipping to get them back. The response from the staff at this hotel was awful. Would not stay there again or possible any Courtyard. It is Friday almost a week later and still no callback.

    The part that I didn't like is that we took an Uber there and still got charged for parking? How the hell can you do that to somebody that don't have a car? They should ask the customer if they have a vehicle or they Uber or what something is a $10 charge for parking is insane when you don't have a car. Just saying we'll never stay there again thank you

    The room is nice size and beds were comfortable. I liked that the pillows were different firmness so i could pick one my neck enjoyed. The TV was in front of one bed but they have it on a great wall mount that can swing out enough so that all can watch. My son loved the roll away desk for his gaming table. Was surprised they charged a $10 parking fee but i definitely would stay here again.

    We stayed 2 nights and came down for a funeral. Our room had a musty odor which maintenance did come to the room and wiped out and vacuumed excess water from the units put some algae tablets in it. It was better for about 15 or so hours but starting getting worse. Our daughter’s room smelled great. The front desk and the other workers were nice and friendly.

    The only thing that we had a problem with is that it was a terribly long wait for just coffee. The girl was amazing that was working but it took 30 minutes to get a coffee bc she was short staffed. The girl that was there was running crazy trying to help us but she can only do so much. The little girl behind the desk should have helped out. I also think that you should offer brewed coffee for free. Just a suggestion.

    Upon check in and agreeing to pay $10 per night to park, we went to the bistro very hungry after a 12 hr drive to get there, only to have the clerk SLAM down the credit card/tip reciept to the point that it rattled my nerves. I decided while she stand there puffing and puffing and steadily slamming things around. I have no idea why she went so angry on me but I went directly to my room, too shaken to eat in lobby.

    First and foremost the pay for parking policy is totally unacceptable and not mentioned in the Expedia app. The young lady who checked us in had absolutely no customer service skills. No greeting! Simply “name and id” When I refused to pay for the parking I got a lecture about how Marriott is now charging for parking at all properties. She reluctantly said I would get a refund on the parking. The 2-3 day wait thing! Funny when you pay for the room it is instant. Refunds take days!!! The room was modern and clean. Too bad reception but the stay a low rating. Seriously Marriott needs to train their staff better. This is why I typically use IHG hotels.

    I truly enjoyed my stay, and so did my family. I’m glad it was pet friendly, my fur baby enjoyed the stay also. The rooms were nice and clean.

    The room was spacious and clean. My children enjoyed the indoor pool. The hotel is tucked away however near several food and shopping areas. The price was unbeatable as well compared to other hotels.

    Best nights sleep after a day at the beach with family. It's not close to the beach but it is quiet, clean and its a Marriott! The front desk was super nice. We needed a room with a sleeper but it wasnt available so a foldable bed was brought in for our teenager within 30 minutes. Pet friendly with a nice big green grass area and poop bags! Our pooches were happy. There is a pool. Air conditioning was perfect. Bed phenomenal. Shower amazing with the eucalyptus lavender body wash. Pick this hotel if you want a good nights sleep. Oh there was a balcony too! We needed it to dry off out towels and swimsuits.

    I have no problem with the staff or accessibility to the property, my problem is the whole night I was in Rm 106 and every move whoever was in 206 I heard, that made for unpleasant night and morning. All they could say at the reception was it is what it is. I will not stay there again

    Arrived and could check us in, computers down. Front desk person actually didn’t tell me this another person did. That same person asked if the other Marriott next door had availability the front desk person said “we could check” . Absolutely no customer service from that person. Not even a free water

    The whole place smelled like weed, our thermostat wouldn’t change but was set to 62 so the ac ran all night and was freezing, couldn’t turn it off or down at all.

    Nice, clean hotel. We stayed in the king room w/balcony. Plenty of room. Area around hotel had nice shopping and restaurants. The coffee guy was really good. Only con would be the mattress. Not the most comfortable. I had to put a blanket under the sheet for added comfort. Would stay here again. But I will bring my own traveling mattress pad.

    Staff was the only thing I liked. I did not like the hidden parking fee but it was wavied since it was my 1st time staying with them. Are room had a soft spot on the floor & we were scared to step there which was right in the way. The bed was uncomfortable compared to other places I've started plus there was no breakfast without another chagrin but I should of read better.

    Great, smaller, tucked away hotel, close to everything. Checked out and realized I left my ipad in the room, 3 hours later. Thankfully I was still in town and when I called they graciously went and checked. 10/10 definitely recommend.

    My room smelled like a dirty boot. The facility charged for parking when your not in an area where any one else charges for parking. Hospitality was none. No body cleaned my room in-between nights. $15 french toast was absurd.

    The web says there is a breakfast to take with you if you want. It was not available. We wanted breakfast before leaving. Also the Bistro meals were terrible. My grandson got the chicken sandwich and got a stomach ache and diarrhea.We wanted to sit in the courtyard and it was nasty.The room was nice, but I found at the edge of the large chair a small bag with finger nail stuff in it. So who ever vacuumed, if they did , did not see it. One great thing was the cleanup lady found my grandson school computer and brought it to us immediately thank her very much for that.

    The only issue that I had was that they should put it in their notes that they do charge a $50 per night. Incidental fee and it goes back on your card within 7-10 days Specifically booked because I knew due to unexpected expenses.I didn't have any extra to spare 2-3 hundred dollar deposits. So I was really taken aback. I will say the general manager checked me in. She was very nice about it. Overall. It's a magnificent hotel how it definitely stay here again and I would have my deposit ready.

    Did not know when i booked i had to pay $10 a day to park, then got to the hotel and they had a poker game going in the lobby ( which was fine) and i had to park way at the end of the lot because there was no where even close to the building to park. Pool is inside but isn't heated and very cold. All in all it was a good stay at a decent price.
