May 13th-15th 2026 Appearance from the outside is very appealing. Was welcomed when I 1st walked up to check in Katrina was very hospitable she gave the Hubby & I a goodie bag with peanut butter & cheese nabs (nostalgic reminded me of my childhood as those were & are my dads favs), a granola bar & 2 bottles of water! There were also complimentary goodies like sleeping eye masks & earplugs thankfully we didn't need the earplugs as we had a nice quiet, comfy stay! So sweet & thoughtful of you guys to offer that as I can imagine it can get rather noisy on the weekends! Icing on the cake on day 2 when we were heading back to our room from the cruise Katrina remembered us & asked how we were doing & how our stay is going! I loved her personality! The lobby was nice & the complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of things to choose from! We stayed in the Studio King Suite room was clean & comfortable, the Kitchen has a full sized freezer fridge combo, microwave & stove top to cook in or on if you'd like! They aslo had pots, mixing bowls, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, toaster, knives, serving utensils, silverware, deep sink, dish rags ~n~ dish soap! Bathroom was spacious loved the walk in tub with the sliding glass door! Bed was comfy & pillows were fluffy! Forgot to take pictures of the room on the first day so the perfectly made bed had already been slept in haha! They have a pool outside with a lift which I love & the patio area was perfect with a firepit & grill!

It was a great location. Full size refrigerator in the kitchenette We had decided to stay extra days and it wasn’t checkout time and they came in the room threw away my west indes crab salad, all my toiletries waters etc. my keys were lost in this confusion and I had to hire a locksmith to make me a new key. That was $500 ☹️

The staff was nice and the breakfast was bussin'. We even got a free upgrade from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom suite for free(NICCEE!!!) Everything was as it should be with the exception of the power going out a few times on our first night other than that everything was perfect.

It was good we just didn’t know we had to pay $112 charge for a pet. Said nothing about that When I reserved the room.

I enjoyed staying there because it has a good location.

We were in pensacola for one night only and this hotel was near to the event we were attending. The room was ok, a little dated. The bed was not really very comfortable and the lighting was dim throughout the room. For a 1 night stay it was fine.
- 5/5
10 minute walk from this hotel to the Pensacloa Arena. The perfect location if you're in town for an event.
- 5/5
Super-friendly staff! Large, comfortable and very clean room!
- 5/5
booked for 1 night. Great room with full kitchen and full equipped. Plenty of space. When AC start a very very, very, very loud noise and the air handled inside the bedroom...You can feel like some car is crashing against the wall...lol, but overall, excellent.

Amazing! The staff was EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING! I was upset that my room did not have an oven despite the description stating the room had a "full" kitchen. When i mentioned this to the manager on duty, she was sble to offer a very good compromise to turn my terrible situation around in no time. Every time I travel to Pensacola I will most certainly stay at the Downtown Residence Inn.
- 5/5
It was nice clean and spacious! Staff was welcoming and helpful!
- 4/5
Property was very clean, conveniently located to the arena walking distance. We had an issue with the AC cooling and the noise it made cutting on and off.
- 5/5
Our stay was perfect. It was quiet and very convenient to everything we wanted to do! The hotel staff was very kind and professional. The room was spacious and very clean. We don’t have a single complaint. Thank you again!! We will be back often.
- 5/5
Best place we have stayed at in a long time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our time.
- 5/5
I loved everything about this property
- 4/5
Room size, cleanliness, breakfast bar were all good. Only minor issue was the battery went out on our room door and had to get maintenance to change them out. Biggest problem to me was housekeeping. We were told 2 turn downs for a week's stay, and only received 1 that happened the day before checkout. Not beneficial to me. And was not informed they would only come every other day. If I had been informed, I would have planned differently.
- 5/5
The room was very nice with a separate bedroom and a very comfortable couch. The kitchenette was also nice. The room was very clean. The hotel staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was very good with many choices. The location of the hotel was very convenient.

Good amenities, professional and friendly staff

Great location to area attractions! Nice clean hotel, great breakfast and friendly staff! I watch here again!
- 5/5
Paula at the front desk was very efficient and helpful. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean, pet friendly.
- 4/5
I was told the rooms would be serviced every other day, that is fine, however, only the bath towels were changed out, nothing else. The beds were not made during my stay (except by me), the kitchen towels were not changed out, the soaps were not replenished (small bath bar, dish liquid). It is missing the "clean detail".
- 4/5
Clean-Front Desk Friendly and Helpful!-Difficult to open and Difficult to close room door.
- 5/5
Emily did an outstanding job with our reservations and even called me in advance to confirm my room requirements. I would highly recommend this property for anyone planning a stay in Pensacola.
- 5/5
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
- 3/5
The breakfast was really scarce with mostly prepackaged foods. I assume this is due to COVID. Bad scrambled eggs. I think they were heated in a bag and then served in the bag. Uck! The area was good, near lots of restaurants and relatively close to downtown.
- 1/5
Said dog friendly, we had already prepaid our room. No mention of a fee in their ad and then wanted us to pay $100 for one night for our dog. Said would cancel our booking but have not seen that yet
- 5/5
Staying here while seeing Jeff Dunham at the Bay Center. Awesome decision!!! Will definitely come back!
- 4/5
The sound carried from the hallway into the room, waking the person sleeping on the couch every time someone else on the floor left their room. There wasn’t any peaceful sleep to be had from 5 am on.
- 4/5
For a $300 a night hotel it was very disappointing. A small hot breakfast was only provided during the week. On the weekend, a "box" was provided containing a small water, small yogurt, a tangerine, and a packaged muffin or sweet roll. On Saturday morning they ran out of boxes before 8am, and I was given a muffin. My room key didn't work the day before I left, and I had to have it re-activated. It is pet-friendly; however, contrary to their advertisement there are no pet walk areas with bag stations and people let their dogs poop anywhere without picking it up. Not sure where the picture of the lovely pool area and fire pit was taken. It definitely wasn't at this property.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, and comfortable. I am in town for a baseball game and this was a great place to stay.
- 4/5
Nice veiw of the water. Was walking distance to see hockey. Only bad thing was no hot water in room.
- 5/5
Location is great but we Suggest you request a room on 3rd floor and quiet side. Traffic noise can be bad and the bridge is not back open, yet. Several excellent restaurants in walking distance.
- 1/5
Missing a very expensive piece of jewelry. That I know I took off in the room. Also front desk kept my ID instead of giving it back to me the hotel keys at check in. They said they called to let me know it was there, but I was in the room for an hour and got no calls. Also could’ve walked it to my room but did not.
- 5/5
If you've not experienced a Marriott hotel, you are truly missing out on comfort, quality, and the home style feel with a suite within the Residence Inn. All this, with style and upscale feel.
- 5/5
This location is great! Beautiful scenery!

Our car died on I-10 heading home to Jackson, Mississippi from Destin, Florida. We spent an entire day getting the vehicle towed to a mechanic in Pensacola. Needless to say, when we arrived we were exhausted. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Of course, the next day, we had been told our car would be ready, but it was not meant to be. The staff allowed us a late checkout because we had no idea when the mechanic would finish with our car. We stayed again that night, and the following day, the staff treated us the exact same way. That day, when our car wasn’t finished until 5pm, they held our luggage so we didn’t have to haul it around in ubers. Not only that, they let us stay in the room we had been in until we found out for sure when the car would be ready. They could have easily just let us sit in the lobby. Such a kind gesture in such a stressful situation will be what sticks with me from my vacation this year. You never know what someone else is going through. thank you.
- 4/5
Good, clean, hotel that was following recent Covid guidelines for cleaning and sanitation. Would recommend for families as this is a suite hotel if you need the extra room.
- 2/5
Terrible check in the lady at the front desk had no clue how to check us in and we had to wait 15 minutes for a coworker to show up. Unacceptable
- 5/5
The location of this hotel was perfect making it an easy ride to the beach or downtown! The room was extremely clean, well equipped, and spacious. We will definitely return to stay!
- 4/5
Great value and location. The breakfast staff was accommodating and gracious.
- 5/5
Loved that you had a full kitchen and the breakfast was great!
- 1/5
$100 pet fee for one night is insanity. Loud group of adults in the lobby upon arrival at 10pm, front desk person did nothing to assure me they’d be quiet anytime soon. She also saw me walk in the front door to check in (with luggage) and answered a phone call and took her time to book a new reservation instead of helping me. Customer service 101, help the person standing in front of you, not the person on the phone who might be coming to your hotel in 3 weeks, Paula.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, room was comfortable and quiet. Would recommend to others.
- 5/5
Whole suite for a reasonable price. Close to downtown.
- 5/5
This place was great , we wanted to stay close to the beach but not to the point where everything was covered in sand . Awesome location and great staff , rooms were clean and full size fridge is a big plus along with kitchen . Will definitely be back .
- 5/5
Very helpful clean great job on the visit and the staff was super
- 4/5
The bathroom needed a little attention but by no means terrible. The breakfast was nice, but if you were not early, you would not get a waffle or some other desired item. Coffee of choice should have been served until 9:30 for late risers. We actually thought breakfast should have been served until 9:30 and then put away. We didn’t like getting there at 9:00 and things being put away and juice and coffee being gone. One lady was super nice. We experienced her the first two days only. She wore a hair net. You could tell she cared about making a difference for others. The other two ladies were cranky and did not care about the guests at all. Front desk was super nice and other staff members were very cordial and helped with anything you needed. I would not hesitate to stay again, but I would probably ask for certain things to be done before arrival.
- 5/5
Need to extend breakfast hours!! Other than that is was an excellent stay!

Clean property clean room new sheets firm mattress n pillows
- 5/5
It was very clean. However, the commodes were outdated. Too low, need to uodate those.
- 5/5
Excellent staff!
- 5/5
The complimentary breakfast was by far the best I’ve ever seen at any hotel. They even had gluten free bagels
- 5/5
Convenient location. Clean and good breakfast
- 5/5
Great staff and very clean!! Definitely up to Marriott standards!!
- 5/5
Great location! Super friendly staff. Has all the essentials. 15 min drive to the shore line
- 5/5
From the super friendly and courteous front desk personnel (Orlando), to the maintenance and maid crew, you can really tell these people love what they do and where they work! The room was a little awkwardly situated, but clean. The hotel is being renovated, so during the day there is construction noise. The continental breakfast had a large variety during the week, a little less on weekends, but still good. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Pensacola again.
- 5/5
This is a good place to stay. The breakfast choices were good and the service was excellent. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. Full kitchen for those who need it.
- 4/5
We stayed for the night to be close to my work Christmas party downtown...it was a 5 minute Uber ride to Palafox and was very convenient!
- 3/5
However, overall the hotel seemed "dark" to me. Also wish there was availability of having dinner in the hotel.
- 5/5
I was there for a military funeral and the hotel was very kind to me.
- 5/5
We came for a veterans funeral and the staff was very supportive with our plans. They accommodated our family room assignments. We all were very pleased with housekeeping also.
- 5/5
Everyone working there was very nice, place was super clean and everything was fresh. Nice towels, nice sitting room, nice comfy bed, plugs everywhere for charging, a desk to work out, full kitchen, mini kitchen table, great free breakfast and free cocktails/food on weeknights.... it had everything.
- 4/5
First time to ever stay and will definitely be back! Room was spacious and cozy. Staff was extremely pleasant.
- 5/5
Took us in and treated us like family. We evacuated from South Florida to get away from hurricane Irma. The hotel staff was great. Waived all pet fees and deposits. Walking distance to food and beach wasn't far away. Very nice to us.
- 4/5
As someone who travels for work frequently, this hotel was a nice relaxing locale that I would recommend to anyone.
- 4/5
Excellent walking distance to downtown and eateries
- 3/5
the room was large but not as clean as you would expect for the price.
- 4/5
Convenient and clean
- 4/5
a modern property in comparison to others in the immediate area. five drive historic district, tourist "jitney" (golfcart) service rides to that area available by third party (cards at frontdesk). better than average hot "complimentary breakfast", although they need to change their vendor ("Canadian bacon" at buffet old, bordering unacceptable), other items w/o prob. room comfortable, spacious, well equipped, with basic kitchen. ample parking. helpful front desk. fire pit area for your "somemores". if you wish to stay near oldtown, this is a very good choice.
- 5/5
Room was awesome with fireplace. Front desk gave us info for GopherCart for a free ride over to Baycenter which was much appreciated! Easy to walk over to restaurants & little store next door. Fire pit outside was excellent for after concert socializing. Our room was definitely setup for comfort for a long stay.
- 5/5
Great people at check in. Great location.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and good breakfast, mattress had a sunken spot in the middle from use.
- 5/5
We originally chose this hotel for the fact that it was pet friendly and was close to the Pensacola dog beach. Very nice hotel, clean rooms, staff was really friendly, and the breakfast was very good. This hotel is also pretty close to the downtown area (within a couple of miles), but not so close to be loud.
- 4/5
My room appeared to be very clean.... But when I pulled the comforter back my sheets were dirty...... I called front desk and was sent more only to find it was sheets for a Queen sized bed.... I had a king..... A bit much but overall it was great.... Not to mention Great breakfast!!!
- 4/5
Everything was great except none of the rooms have safes, in spite the fact that laptop size safes are listed online. I specifically wanted and needed a safe in the room. I found the rest of the listing to be accurate.
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel, a quick ride from the airport and not far from Pensacola Beach. The famous McGuire's pub is across the street. It was definitely nice to have so much space in the room ... which included a king bed, living room and kitchen with a stove, full-size refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Full (hot) buffet breakfast was included. I would definitely stay there again.
