    The staff was friendly. The room was nice. The only downfall was there was a weird smell on the sheets and they need thicker pillows. Other than that I would stay with him again just bring my own blanket. Lol.

    Bed was okay; pillows were lousy. AC set to auto simply varied between Low and High, never shutting off, but at least cold. Blinds didn't fully shut, leaving a bright streetlight shining in until I rigged something to hold it shut. Some road noise. Shower was very good, but bathroom was very cramped and the circulation fan poor. Everything clean at least. Would not stay here again.

    They asked me for 150 cash deposit for the room upon leaving they did not return the deposit claiming stain on one bedsheet was suffice damage to the room to keep the whole deposit. They then called the police and had us trash from the property because I kept asking for my money back. They refuse to show me the room to show me the stain on the so-called sheet all he showed me was a picture that he supposedly received from one of the cleaners they did not send me an itemized list of anything that they were charging for in the room they just kept my deposit completely without questioning or investigation

    The rate was good but I experienced a few issues. First I want to mention they are renovating. There were no headboards on our beds. I think this is their new normal and there was no phone in the room. The bathroom was nice but poor ventilation and the sink was stopped up with water draining very very slow. The guy that worked during checkout was never at the desk. My experience last year was better than this time.

    The place was under renovation and Expedia did not show that on the website. The place was terrible. Parts of the hotel was closed and very dirty. The room was not completely furnished and had no telephone to call front desk. Also internet and television were not working good. Elevator was working very slowly. Advertised breakfast but did not have anything available for breakfast. Had to stand outside to register for the room and then walk around the hotel to a side door to enter a very nasty hallway to the room. Was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Will never book through Expedia again. We should have been warned it was under renovation when we were booking

    Stayed here on April 10th and 11th, 2026. We got there really late on Friday night and checked in. I was charged twice on my deposit, but they said it will be returned, so I'm not worried yet. We had a long drive and it was already close to midnight, so we went to our room. The cart that we used was very wobbly and old, needs to be replaced. When we got to the room, I checked the beds, as I do with any hotel I go to, only to find that THE BEDS WERE WRAPPED IN PLASTIC. I wanted to walk out immediately, but we were weary and tired from the long trip, so we stayed and got some sleep. The cleanliness of the room was definitely questionable, so we didn't use the pillows . Unfortunately, when you wrap a bed in plastic, it makes you sweat, so we did not sleep very well. We woke up, got ready and went downstairs to get some breakfast, but the breakfast was already gone as we had got there just after 9:00 a.m. I didn't ask what time the breakfast would be out, so that's my fault, but generally I have stayed other places and they usually keep them out until at least 10:00 a.m., especially on Saturdays. Since there was no breakfast, we had to hurry and go somewhere else to eat so that we could stay on schedule. We went out for the entire day and didn't get back until 9:00 p.m. Once we made our way back up to the room, taking one look at it we decided that we couldn't stay another night, we didn't trust it, so we packed our stuff and got in the car. I'll never stay here again.

    Nothing I was charged 50 extra dollars a night when I checked in for a pet fee that was not disclosed on booking website. I never would have stayed here if it was that price. Once in the room I discovered a broken tub faucet and so much mold everywhere I asked to be moved to another room. I was told I had to stay in that room and the manager would "figure it out" the next day or I could just leave. No refund. I left with a sore throat from being in the disgusting room waiting to speak with the manager who never came and refused to even speak to me on the phone. The excuse I was given by staff was they were renovating. Well don't book your biohazard rooms until after they are renovated then. Health hazard. Worst experience ever. Had to dispute charges with my bank. Terrible customer service, really zero service, they do not care about the customer once they have their money. Hotel Pensacola was where I ended up staying. Immaculate room. Great customer service. And it was less expensive than this s**t hole.

    The room was clean, but could use a lot of work and updates. Curtains had holes in them. The sink had a big crack that was just patched up. But the room was clean. The bed was clean and very comfortable. It was just an overnight stay and we didn’t even partake in the breakfast as we had to leave by four.

    The property was so bad we didnt even stay.. the room was NOT up to code as the manager tries to claim. No room would have passed code with missing fire alarm. And mold everywhere.. and we were not the only family to leave that property we spoke to 2 different families looking for a hotel because they had a experience just like ours at that property. The property refused to give money back bc we went through booking well b looking hasn't followed up and gave money back either so im not sure i would do business with either of them at this point.     We stayed for 1 night after a 7hrs travel. I believe that when you have something you need to take care of it or it will deteriorate in front of your eyes. And that's what is happening with this place. Wall paper peeling of, mold in the shower, mold odor coming out of the AC, we slept in a dented mattress... Was only a night but enough time to see the place falling apart...

    The room was supposed to have accessibility. However, the bathroom was so small, that you could not get a wheelchair inside. Two people could not fit inside the bathroom comfortably either. The carpet needed to be cleaned badly in the room we had. Definitely needed slippers on. The beds were nice enough, comfortable. The refrigerator, television, and microwave were in good working condition.

    The room had a musty smell upon arrival, the beds were too soft. The bathroom was extremely small with no trash bags in the wastebaskets. No do not disturb hang tag for the door. They say they offer breakfast complimentary and guess what it’s from 8-9 a.m. One hour!! Other places are from 7-10a.m. We missed breakfast and had to eat out. Their was just a weird vibe in that hotel, sketchy. I will never go back there and I will never recommend that place to anyone.

    The furniture in the room was filthy, coffee maker had a moldy pouch left in it, bathroom sink wouldn't drain. We bought a sink plunger and fixed that issue. The pool was indoor and UNHEATED. Too cold to get in in February. No full breakfast as advertised. We asked for no room service and were almost walked in on by the staff. Luckily we made it to the door in time. Except for the fact that it was close to everything we wanted to do and they didn't do refunds we would not have stayed. Will not be back to this location. It looks like they are may be doing some remodeling as the 3rd floor was under construction. Hope that helps.

My socks went in white came out black. It looks like these people took it over from someone else. Need to do a major overhaul before they open the doors

    Terrible service!! The room was FILTHY and smelly they had dust all over the walls and fire alarms. We told them the second day we’d like our money and we were checking out early and they said I’m pretty sure you aren’t gonna get a refund. They didn’t care and didn’t have any disregard for our health. WE FOUND MOLD IN OUR BATHROOMS. And because it wasn’t on the first day they told us they didn’t have to do a damn thing about it!! We also found clothes from previous residents still in our room!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ,UNACCOMMODATING AND UNEMPATHETIC!! We told them we basically still didn’t have anywhere to stay that night given it’s a holiday weekend as well as inflated prices and they told us we should’ve said something earlier!! About things we didn’t find till RIGHT BEFORE WE DECIDED TO CHECKOUT!! THEY ALSO MADE SURE THEY SAID MULTIPLE TIMES WE WOULDNT BE GETTING OUR MONEY BACK FOR THEIR MISHAPS. OH AND THE CEILING WAS ALSO FALLING IN ABOVE THE MIRROR IN THE BATHROOM. THEY USED AI TO MAKE THEIR PICTURES LOOK LIKE SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE

    Staff is my primary complaint. Got to room tv would not work. Went back to desk and reported, told would be up to check it out.15 minutes later went back down. Different worker at desk, knew nothing about problem, original worker was leaving and did not pass on info. At checkout no one to be found, waited a while, looked at sparse breakfast available. Went next door to Waffle House. After breakfast came back to check out still no staff. about 5 minutes late someone finally showed up. Will not use Roadway Inn again.

    You get what you pay for. The tub drains extremely slow, the beds you sink it. We went to the lobby at 8:55am they wouldn't make more coffee and the free breakfast is a joke no hot food besides make your own waffle. There is a Waffle house right next door.

    When you advertise a hot breakfast with the pictures of the conduction elements being filled with food, you should have those items on hand for guests throughout the breakfast hours At no point in my 4-night stay was there anything other than the above mentioned items. There was a sock left in the room, which sells me the room was not cleaned, thoroughly or vacuumed prior to my stay Nasty long dark hairs were around the toilet and left there. See photos. The toilet did not flush properly and stunk like a urinal half the time I was there The beds have no springs left in them, which is why they are probably changing out all of the mattresses from Fairfield Inn and suites to the newly acquired Rodeway Inn. The remodel and redecoration of the second floor, where I was located, began prior to my last night. I was napping in the afternoon and woken up to some type of Asian/Indian music coming through the ceiling from the work still being completed on the third floor. I spoke with the young employee at the front desk and he advised that he had no authorization to refund my last night and let me check out early – I – sincerely –offered to leave early so they could begin the remodel process without disturbing me. He advised he would have the music stop, but it did not happen within the hour.

    We booked a room. Got to the room and pne bed had been slept in. There was splatter of something on the walls. We we back to the front desk and got a different room.     The pool was closed the majority of the time. It was the main reason I chose this establishment. When we arrived there was no toilet paper in the room. The towels only were changed once out of 3 days and the same with the beds being made. There was a musty smell in the room and spots of black mold in the bathroom. The lock on the bathroom didn’t work either. The concierge desk was helpful and friendly. If it wasn't for them I would give the hotel 2 stars at most.

    The 1st room we were giving was absolutely disgusting. The nightstand between the beds had fluid on it, the bathtub had what looked like mold on the outside rim. Received another room, the toilet did not work, and had what looked like someone used the toilet before it broke. Left the hotel, was told by hotels.com in a chat the hotel agreed to a refund only to then turn around and deny said refund. Do not stay at this hotel!

    Our first room was FILTHY, covered in mold and smelled like dog and urine. I asked to be moved because I could not handle the strong odor. Got to another room, the smell was better but the condition was just as bad. The second room is also full of mold and is filthy. I pulled back the sheets to lie down and there is a dirty paw print from a large dog! The sheets weren’t changed!

    I got the room for the pool for my daughters 13th birthday. I told them that's why I was getting the room. Picture this.     I chose this location for an overnight stay while passing through, late evening check in. Staff was very friendly checking in. Room was extremely humid, carpets were even damp and smelled of mold. We were so exausted from driving all day we just went to bed. In the morning I found visible mold on the furniture, bed frame, and carpets. The room was also dirty behind and under furniture, on the walls, etc. and had not had a decent cleaning for some time. Was shocked how different the room was compared to the good reviews on expedia's website. Breakfast was good and the eating area was clean.

    The breakfast was small and not very many options. Hotel room seemed clean enough. Kids were excited for pool but water was very cold and they were filling it up with a garden hose so it wasn’t filled all of the way. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Decent enough for the pride paid!

    Overall, our stay at the Roadway Inn was pleasant. Two of things that I look for when choosing a hotel; are breakfast and a pool. We were disappointed with the lack of options and quality that was offered for breakfast. The pool was closed the entire stay, for maintenance. The positives; friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and overall the hotel was clean. Not sure if we would stay again.

    Checked in on Aug 29th, rooms never been cleaned, bed one leg broken and placed on some thing tilted to one side, bed skirt tore, bed light dirty, tub edges mold, pink like spots in the tub floor, toilet edges has hair, seat has pee around the ring, room carpet smells. I do not recommend to any guest to use the hotel. I am requesting my deposit to be returned as I have checked in but the room was not to any hotel standard. Thx

    Room was clean, however could stand to be updated. We didn’t realize until we got there that we’d accidentally reserved an ADA room, so the bathroom shower was made for someone sitting in handicap bench and was too low for us plus the floor of the shower was flat for a wheelchair to roll into which caused water to go everywhere in the bathroom when the shower was on-the floor was slanted to keep water moving toward the shower drain but it did go into a lot of the area outside the shower area as well. Other than that the stay was ok, the area did feel a little sketchy but we did not feel unsafe.

    The room had a strong chemical smell that wouldnt go away. Every day we opened the window and every time we returned the odor was there. The bathroom had mildew that was not stain even though I was told it was. I was also told the manager would speak with me regarding the cleanliness and possible discount but that never happened.

    Chair had stains, some of the towels had stains, tub had some stuff that almost looked like mold in it. Carpet was wet, and the rooms don’t have enough lighting. The pictures online definitely look different than the room did in person. Good place to stay if you’re looking for a cheap place though.

    Bed comfort fair. Rusted finishing on ceiling, faucets, and lamp if that matters, for me yes. Towels look as though they were not washed good or already used. Though the atmosphere was great as well as location and the staff were very friendly and nice. I won’t return but from an economic perspective it would be a good choice to select this hotel.

    Look like they started repainting and stopped with streaks going all the way down the walls, trash on the floor that wasn't cleaned up before our stay from last visitors. Rust all around the door in the bathroom and toilet seat not even screwed on. The breakfast is only one little pan with half eggs and half sausage, no one seems to refill after it's taken. So the whole free breakfast is kind of a lie unless you want dry cereal. Not their fault, but the hotel is in a real bad spot where all you hear is cop cars and ambulances. Not the best stay, not a great stay.

We came into town early & just needed a place to sleep for one night. We didn’t sleep well because we were very uncomfortable due to the condition of the place.

    There was a slow check in and it went down hill from there. i asked for a quiet room to sleep and she put me in front of the elevator. The shower curtain smelled of mildew. The bathtub was old and had mildew stains in the corner. the shower knob would not operate correctly. The bed was a disaster. king bed but the mattress sunk in the middle. The hotel is practically on the interstate and the noise all night was loud.

    Came to check in at 12:30a after spending the whole day in the heat - desperate for AC, a shower, and bed; was told we didn't not have a room reserved. What's worse, my data was out on my phone so I was unable to use google for anything, EVERYTHING was closed, and all the hotels in the area were booked solid. I drove around florida for 2 hours trying to find a room with two young, exhausted children. It was an entire disaster and ruined our trip. We wound up having to drive home all night. What's even MORE worse, when I was able to access my email i confirmed in everything that this reservation DID exist - so I'm not sure what happened, just be aware if you book with this facility you better stay on top if it because they will lose it or give it to someone else and tell you you don't have one when you're desperately seeking relief from a long day.

    We were placed in a room on the first floor. The minute we walked in there was a roach in the bathroom and it was killed. Then a tiny bug appeared on one of the pillows and was killed. A medium sized spider in the shape of a scorpion crossed the pillows and that's when we couldn't take it anymore and asked for a different room. We were provided with one on the third floor. Needless to say, no insects were seen there. The gal at the front desk was very kind and friendly. She apologized and tried to offer us with different things. Breakfast was mediocre. The waffles were good. We don't ask for the best but we do expect cleanliness. Here it was disappointing. There were hairs on the shower curtain, and on the towels.

    A little hidden gem that's allowed my family and I to enjoy the beaches , the downtown vendors and Naval Museum , with very easy directions from our Inn . There are shops and restaurants within walking distance . The Delaney's have never stayed in a Rodeway Inn , but you have made us possibly guest , around our country on our vacations .     My Family and I had a great time . The rooms were exceptional for the price . One issue was one room had a slippery bottom in the bath tub . I'm a senior and it made me nervous , when I took my showers . After speaking with the youth in my family , they experienced the same issue . The pool is located inside , a great choice , but cold water . Breakfast in the mornings very much worth it . Thank you Rodeway for treating us so great . Every staff member always spoke with a smile . A hidden gem . The Delaney's had a great time in Pensacola Florida .

    Awesome safe stay! Check-in/Check-out was seamless, rooms were super clean and bed was comfortable. Unfortunately never ate the free breakfast so can’t speak on that amenity however WILL STAY AGAIN!!! Two sports bar within a 5min walk, Waffle House next door and a Burger King, McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts within 2blocks. Actually a lot of food options within walking distance.

    Very nice staff. Hotel location is noisy with fire trucks and ambulance. Had a musty smell to the hotel. Main reason for the three star review is because we told staff three separate times to please not go into our room for cleaning or anything. However, it was discovered they still went in and restocked different things. I understand they’re doing their job, but we specifically asked them to please not 3 separate times. My husband and I do not like people having access to our stuff (we’ve had horrible experiences before at other hotels and since then, do not feel comfortable with anyone in our room). Since they didn’t have a “do not disturb” sign to hang, we just told the staff each day. They said they wouldn’t and yet they still did send staff in there. Again, very nice staff. Just frustrating they ignored our requests.

    My stay at the Rodeway Inn was very comfortable. The front desk person was very personable and helpful when I asked about dining in the area. The room was quiet and I especially liked that I could leave just the fan on the AC instead of having cool air cycle on and off all night. The bed and bedding was very nice also. The only complaint I have, thus the good rating instead of excellent is your breakfast servings. All that was available was thawed bread and bagels, different spreads and watery orange juice. With "Breakfast Included" I expected more choices. All in all my stay was very good and I would recommend staying there to others but would note the breakfast offerings.
