Room wasn’t clean upon check in. Dirty sheets, sticky floor, and some sort of sticky residue on the desk. Fridge was hot and had to be turned on for use. Keep this in mind if traveling with refrigerated medications. We were moved to another room and that room was missing a thermostat on the wall. We didn’t realize we only had one bath towel until we went to shower in the morning. Went down to the front desk to ask for one more towel and was told to be patient because housekeeping would be switching them out. We simply just needed a second towel so we could both shower. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel that only had one towel. No idea how the breakfast is because I was nervous about the cleanliness. Overall I would not recommend. Next time I will spend the extra money and stay at the Hilton.

I did not care for the property at all. There were plenty of men that I assume lived at the hotel out hanging out around the hotel with grills outside all time of the night partying. The bathrooms in The rooms were not as clean, it looked as if someone had half cleaned it. Dirty build up around the shower , even around the tops of the shampoo bottles, ground if the shower soreness very dengy! I showered with my crocs on I was so disgusted! If I had to stay there for more that 1 night I would’ve done an early checkout ! My finance woke up with a huge cyst looking bump on his thigh that was not there prior to us arriving so I assume the sheets were not cleaned properly either. He has really sensitive skin so when something is wrong his skin will tell it. I never write reviews but I was so disgusted by this hotel I had to speak on it to warn others ! The photos had me fooled

Staff was super friendly. The 2nd floor hallway has an awful smell and the elevation didn’t. The carpet and walls in the hallways were not clean at all and didn’t appear to have ever been cleaned.

Had a smooth check-in , quiet area, stay was really good for the price . Hotel was very modern and very different from what I’m accustomed to but the stay met expectations. The staff was friendly and my overall stay was excellent!

Floors in the public areas either needed mopping or vacuuming. There was hair in our sink and shower. A panel meant to cover electrical wires was on the floor leaving the wires exposed. Lastly, there was an overpowering smell from either cleaning products or air freshener in the room. Just a very disappointing stay.

It was not the hotel I picked, the room was not what was what I pick . I requested a room for two people with two queen size beds. I got a room with one queen size bed for two people. The desk clerk was very argumentive and rude.

Very quiet and clean How the shower door is right by the shower head so it’s hard getting in without getting your hair wet. No turkey sausage. No microwaves in the rooms.

The room was very good. Two issues are maintenance issues. You had to slam your shoulder against the door to get it open. It needs a little work. The bathroom fan ran constantly. I thought it should shut off with the bathroom lights or a humidity sensor. The room itself was nicer and clean.

Conveniently located to an event we were in town for that weekend.

Our room had some mold in the bathtub and it looked like the shower/bathtub door hadn't been cleaned. They moved us to another room, where there was still some mold in the top corner of the bathtub area. We didn't shower there. This room was expensive for what we got and I honestly would never stay at this hotel chain again.

The staff were very friendly and the area was convenient. It was clean and had an ok selection for breakfast. There were a couple of small things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. The bathroom had the full size bottles of soap etc… however the shampoo was empty, and the water pressure was not ideal. The beds and pillows were very comfortable though and I slept well.

SOLD my room! Went to check in and the room we walked in was not the handicap accessible room with roll in shower that I booked. I was told the room I PAID FOR in advance days prior was changed by someone at the desk the morning of my arrival. I was never told and upon asking for a different room, I was told there were no other rooms available besides the one he just assigned to me. When we walked in, the shower was nasty in the floor, no toilet paper at all (had to ask for it), and there was hair in and around the base of the toilet. The room was filthy! I have stayed here more than 2 months out of the year for the last few years and WILL NEVER BE BACK! We had to re-book with another hotel and by now it has just made it past midnight! Booking this late was HELL and we booked across the street at a NEW HOTEL which was over $200 more. Super MAD AT AVID in Perry, GA. DO NOT STAY HERE! I was on a business trip as always when staying here and NEVER again! Save the time and frustration and stay somewhere else. Hopefully this will educate others and management at AVID. I would like someone to contact me from the hotel. They did refund me my money as requested and Hotels.com confirmed and sent it back as well. Thank you Hotels.com for your work as always. - RJ

Staff was courteous and friendly. However, the room, although looked great at first had a lot to be desired. The bathroom floor, ceramic tile grout was dirty, bathroom mirror had not been cleaned, sink fixture did not work properly, and stopper in the sink was a mess. The bathroom wall had nails protruding, and screws showing. Whoever put the tissue paper holder up did not do it well. The mattresses / box springs were terrible and made noise whenever you got in or out of the bed and every time you moved a slight bit. Need to change out the entire bed...mattresses and box springs, maybe the frame as well. TV worked good, lights worked good, and the room was well lit. I think they need a new housekeeper or someone who knows how to clean and deep clean. Breakfast was okay. Coffee had much to be desired. Appreciated the demeanor of the young woman who fixed up the breakfast area, she was cheerful and welcoming!

The property and facility was clean a led the staff were nice. The problems were that we booked a “handicapped accessible” room as my wife recently broke her leg. The room and bathroom were spacious to accommodate her knee-scooter. However, there was no seat in the shower and no rails anywhere to be found. We had to go to a local store to buy a shower chair and she had to sit and shower with the shower door open, because she could not hold onto anything to get fully inside the shower. We also only had one towel in the room when we arrived.

I loved all the hooks the room had to hang bookbags, purses, coats to keep them off the floor. Wish they had dirty clothes bags. The breakfast was good. Just wish they had pancakes ir waffles for the younger kids

Vent (or some loud device) ran constantly. No discernable way to turn it off. Had to keep the bathroom door closed to mute the noise. Otherwise, a very nice stay for the money.

Everything was good about the property. It was in a good place and wanted to be close to Warner Robins or to other counties Fort Valley. The only problem that I had is, they had $100 deposit that they never disclosed when I booked the room.

This seems to be a relatively new property. I liked the minimalistic mind set. The rooms are clean and designed to cleaned easily as well. Front staff was polite on check in and check out. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, potatoes, yogurt, muffins, etc. The place was quiet, reasonably priced, close to Walmart.

This hotel is simple. Staff is friendly. It's very clean. There's a nice pool but the water was a bit cloudy. There's a nice outdoor area to sit and visit. Sadly, there is a horrible field of long weeds right in front of the property that makes it look deserted. Not sure how to get the owner of that property to clean it up. Mainly, the room is clean but very small. The AC unit is wimpy. It seems to just turn on and off on an every ten minute schedule, regardless of the temp you set it at. The room ends up being very stuffy. The bed is decent, but very squeaky. We had a hard time sleeping there. Breakfast was decent but by the time we got there at 9am, most of the food was gone. Coffee is great!! Overall, meh. For $150 it wasn't all that OR a bag of chips.

Property was perfect for weary travelers that need to stop enroute for a good night's sleep. Hot breakfast was available (other than waffles) and the staff was very accommodating. Sabrina at the front desk was very sweet and super helpful. Room was super clean and comfortable. No refrigerators, microwaves or coffee in room but they did offer that in the breakfast area 24/7. Would highly recommend.

Room was really small, but clean. I didn't like the smelll of the room. Smells like sweaty human. It was convenient, right off the highway, longhorn 15 seconds away, which was good. The aesthetics of the place are nice, staff was nice and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay! The check in was quick and easy, accessing my room was easy, the room was very clean and cool as I entered, the bed and pillows were really comfortable and it SO quiet, as well as really dark with the shades drawn. The shower was also nice too with a shower head and a hand held hose. It was everything I wanted.

I have stayed here before and had a pretty good experience. However, this past weekend was awful! Everytime someone would use plumbing (shower, toilet, sink) the pipes in my room would “knock” for 5 mins straight. Also, walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING on your floor. Everything else was good

I have been booking Avid Hotels for a few years now. The facilities are modern and well maintained. The only issues were tissue holder was empty and no water glasses available.

The property is clean. The bed was not the best it squeak when you get on it. The pillows are smelly " that was very uncomfortable" did not use them. The bathroomin floor in this particular room needs a good scrub. The front desk/ breakfast area was nice and clean. Absolutely love the coffee machine and coffee. In general it was a pleasant stay.

Stopped here on the way to Disney. Beds were so comfortable. Room was super clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was bagels, cereal, some premade sandwiches. Will definitely stop again :)

First of all, this hotel was not worth $200 a night, that of course is because they jacked up the price because of us evacuees from hurricane Milton. I wish there were easier ways to report these types of owners. I had big foot on the level above for the worse 4 nights of my life. Nothing is good about this hotel.

Very nice property . Staff was really friendly and nice. Room was very clean and quiet. The only thing was grab n go breakfast doesn’t work for everyone. Some of us have dietary restrictions. Buffet style works good for everyone even with restrictions because we can pick and choose fresh foods not just cereal etc.

The breakfast was substandard and the worst I have experienced with a national chain. Very limited selection, warm sandwich option empty, things not refilled etc. will not visit an Avid again.

Staff was friendly, comfortable bed and the shower is amazing! We will stay there again when we visit Perry. We had breakfast plans out but I believe their breakfast is continental. We felt safe and it was quiet and clean-the number one criteria for us.

Other than the bathroom fan running all night, no closet, iron but no ironing board, this was a good place to stay.

Fairly new hotel but seems like it’s operating on a shoestring. Breakfast buffet was always running out of items - and the front desk staff seemed to be the only person working to restock. In 2 days they ran out of the hot sandwiches, most brands of cereal, milk and regular coffee beans (in the grinder). So it was okay for me but would have liked to see more options. Hotel was fairly clean but it took all day to get room cleaned (front desk said they had a bunch of folks check out and they did those rooms first - so the people who weren’t there yet got priority over those staying). Overall it was okay but I’m unlikely to be back
