My family and I stay here every time we come to Columbus/Phenix City. This was the first time my room was it clean there were food crumbs when we turned the spreads back on both beds and the bathroom was not really clean. Breakfast was not what we were used to. We were highly disappointed

We went out to eat.

Breakfast was a blessing, literally. Parking lot is ample enough to accommodate your car. swimming pool was not even open and looked ugly, dirty and not taken care at all.

The Hotel was very worn and dark. They don’t keep coffee makers in the room. You have to ask for it at the front desk. The parking lot had homeless sitting in it. We decided that we were not comfortable there and left for a different hotel.

The breakfast selections was sparse.

The staff were okay but the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking and the breakfast was good. The pool was not so good. The pool backs up to a wooded area and there was a lot of debris and bugs, including a couple spiders floating on the pool surface. I used a skimmer to clean it before I used it.

Everything was ok except the air condition. You could only go down to 69 and then the fan would only run on low . If you paid $432.00 for 2 night's. You would expect to be able to run the air to whatever you want to stay cool.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the staff that cooked and served breakfast were amazing. They kept everything full and hot. 24 hour coffee/tea was hot and fresh brewed per cup to order. The rooms were clean. The housekeepers were accommodating and friendly. The halls were quiet, other guests were respectful of noise. The room we got had 2 queen beds and one of the beds blocked the AC. The room was hot, humid and stuffy. No exhaust fan In bathroom didn’t help. The shower curtain was too small so lots of water was on the floor after each shower. We booked here because of fitness center and pool. Neither were open. Overall all the important things were good but the hot room was not ideal for the weather.

Amazing stay! Called last minute for my family and asked if it was quiet and the front desk went and checked for herself and surely it was! The ladies up front were absolutely delightful and I will book again. Very quiet hotel.

Pros:Quiet rooms and comfy beds. Cons: very expensive for dirty rooms and our shower had hair still on the tub and shower walls breakfast wasn’t served until 7am which is too late for travelers and compared to other hotel chains.

The room was spotless and the staff were excellent. Special shoutout to Ms Pam, breakfast was so good, and she's so nice. This is the best place to stay when visiting Phenix City.

The staff members were not friendly- except for the cleaning staff and the receptionist checking us out. Upon leaving for check out, maintenance man was masked scrubbing mold off the walls in the lobby- Would it not been appropriate to alert guest that that was taking place and re route our exit from our room?

I wasn't able to go on my trip. I am a lineman and I was called in for storm. I was unable to get anyone from the hotel to return my email and hotels.com wouldn't refund my charge. I lost the money and was unable to visit

Parking was the best thing only. Had 2 rooms floor was dirty. Water never got hot. Room 1 reach on walls. Room 2 roach on bed. Holes in ceiling . The other guest was grilling outdoors with their car radio blasting music.

The first night we were told to park in an abandoned, unkempt lot outside of the property as the lot was filled with CONNEX boxes and utility trucks. The room smelled like wet dog and cigarettes. There were stains on the bedsheets, and the A/C smelled strongly of dust when used.

My stay was great. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Our room was very clean. The bathroom was clean and updated. The hair dryer was exceptional. And our bed was extremely comfortable. Very friendly staff as well. We highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very rude nearly the entire time. I needed assistance with updating my stay and the person at the front desk was honestly horrible. The room was pretty run down and dirty. Stains everywhere. Super super loud hotel you can hear nearly everything from any room in the vicinity.

No coffee maker in room. No safe in room. AC would not go below 68. Bath tube would not drain completely,standing water at all times so much the drain was rusted. Toilet seat was not secure. Front desk said elevators and gym that way, other than that i can't tell you anything else about the hotel. The get directions button does not work. You have to use the address. Construction on 4th floor in progress. You can definitely hear through the walls as i was woke up to the sounds of the people in the next room. Would not stay again. Not the holiday inn express i am use to staying at.

Staff was wonderful and polite as always. When we visit, this is always one of our goto locations.

Adjoining rooms. The family with young children on the other side of the door screamed and yelled for 4 hours, then left for an hour for dinner & came back and screamed and yelled till 3am.

We were put in a handicap room next to the side exit door, which was quite loud in the entire night. Also, the seat in the shower had mold underneath it, and when we entered the room, there was a lizard on the bed.

The night desk clerk was just the best! I was in town for my son’s Turning Green ceremony at Ft. Moore. Tbh there aren’t a lot of nice places to stay within 15 minutes of the base. I highly recommend staying here. I felt very safe while I was there even though it feels a little isolated at night. The parking lot is monitored and very well lit. The hotel is close to base and, contrary to what you might hear, your new soldier is allowed to stay in Alabama. They just aren’t allowed to be farther than a 50 mile radius of the base. I am so pleased with my choice of hotels! The beds! OMG! The pillows!! OMG!! My room was clean and so comfortable. Applebee’s is just a little ways down the road and Door Dash delivers! My son just wanted to chill and eat the whole weekend. LOL! There is a pool, but we didn’t use it, because the weather was rainy when we were there. There is a great breakfast if you don’t sleep in. There is also a fitness center if you want to put in a few reps. The staff is great, I felt safe, it is clean and comfortable!

The TV didn’t work, no service. The carpet was damp from being cleaned shortly before check in. The floor was sticky from the carpet cleaning.

My wife and our friends stayed here for a concert we were going to in Columbus and we also wanted to visit Fort Moore while we were here. This hotel was the perfect distance and was clean, the breakfast was very good .

Was a place to sleep. The pictures are not representative of the actual condition of the rooms and property. Breakfast was great though.

The area is a little sketchy but convenient to where I needed to be. Bathrooms are in desperate need of updating. The tub faucet in my bathroom leaked all night.

We chose this hotel because it has decent reviews online. We came down to see our son graduate from Ft. Moore. First impression, it is difficult to get to from the light and there’s a sketchy used car dealership next to it. The lady at the front counter was nice. We were given a room on the 3rd floor. The key card would not work on the door lock. There was no light at all. So, we get back on the elevator to go down and the elevator does not move at all. I pushed the button to open the door again and it was stuck for like a good couple of minutes. Thankfully, it opened and we were able to get off the elevator. We took the stairs down to the front desk and asked for a room on the 1st floor. The lady at the front desk obliged. The room on the 1st floor was dirty and smelled like urine. We were upset and left. I contacted the front desk requesting a refund since we were not staying. The lady said that she would work it out with Expedia, since we booked through them. I contacted the Expedia Travel Agent, she contacted the hotel and they denied my request. I couldn’t believe that they denied my request after all of that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

The property was clean quiet and felt safe The staff wet above and beyond and very friendly. I stayed here alone the property was clean and very accommodating best in its area for sure.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The only complaint I have is that we could not adjust the temperature in our room because the controls were locked. The thermostat said that it was set on 68 degrees, but it was much hotter than that in our room. It was very difficult to sleep because we were uncomfortably warm. I ended up buying a small fan and setting it on the nightstand to circulate some cooler air. I’ve never stayed in another hotel where we had absolutely no control over the temperature in our room.

The front desk staff was superb….we had to check out later than 11:00 and they had no problem extending our checkout time to 1:00…..very clean rooms…..the only complaint is the beds are really high and hard to get in for those of us that are vertically challenged!

We had the best breakfast, the food was excellent! Also, the breakfast attendant Pamela was outstanding!! We feel that she went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we had a great breakfast and she was very friendly!! Pamela is a very dedicated employee and she made us feel very welcome! This is our first time to visit Alabama. The Holiday Inn Express was very clean everywhere!! The room was spotless and the King size bed was sooo comfortable!! We were also very impressed with the Manager Casey. She was very friendly and knowledgeable! We definitely will stay here again!!

The hotel front desk person was rude at check in. I called the next morning to see what time breakfast was. The clerk said “it’s printed on the key sleeve” and it’s 7-10am. I said well I don’t have the sleeve. She repeated her self and I just said okay. In the time she took to tell me about the sleeve, she could have just said 7-10am and been done.
