Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix Airport

Overcharged, light next to bed non-functional, some waste in toilet not flushed, room way too small. My receipt was $0.00 extra but when I arrived at home I noticed a $18 charge.ALL I DID WAS TAKE A LOUSY FOAM CUP OF BAD COFFEE

Paying for breakfast surprised me, when so many places include it. Paying for parking is just wrong.

Room was large, clean, and nice.

Hotel employee- was very courteous at the front desk . He was also my shuttle driver to the airport and he was very helpful in helping with luggage. I wish we had more people like him .10/10 review for him .

Clean, welcoming, and quiet. Food was tasty with a simple menu but had the items I wanted.

The mattress was so firm, it was difficult to get comfortable. We had just been at a Marriott Courtyard in Sedona. There was No comparison to the comfort and cleanliness!

We were disappointed that breakfast was not included. One dry bagel cost seven dollars.

Arizona is hot all hours of the day/night so that was a very big disappointment.

The pool had some debris floating around and there is no working jacuzzi but it's still on the website. Hotels.com please remove that this property has a jacuzzi. That was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Thank you.

The only thing I disliked was that the Jacuzzi was taped off and not available for use.

Would have been 5 stars but the hot tub was down . Otherwise staff was great , rooms were a good size and clean , location was super convenient and the free airport shuttle helps a lot !

Breakfast was average. The hotel is very convenient for a one night stay having landed early evening to sky harbor airport.

Reserved a king suite (with a sofa couch) They didn't have one so we were stuck in a 2 double bed room. Not even queens, I'm 66 and had to get in and out of a bed 14 inches off the ground. Ice machine on 4th floor out of service. Computer printer out of service. They offered me a free breakfast. The package I reserved, and paid for, had a breakfast for 2 included so thanks a lot for nothing.

My wife and I were treated with utter disrespect. We booked a king bed . After driving for 10 hours we go to check in and were told that they didn’t have any kings left and downgraded us to 2 twins! We can barely fit on the beds. It lacks honesty and integrity. You take our money then treat us like crap ! We hi through Phoenix monthly but will never again stay here . Integrity and honesty and customer service obviously means nothing . We will be also be posting a review

The cleanliness was just okay, I didn’t know the rooms didn’t have balcony. Room is very basic.

It was a bummer with the number of homeless hanging out in the parking lot and a group of others that were collecting piles of beer cans (sleeping in their car?). I felt uneasy walking to the Hilton to get dinner and back.

Hotels.com has a MAJOR problem with your reservation. I paid for breakfast and parking (extra $$$), then the hotel tried to charge me for breakfast and parking BECAUSE that payment is not shown ANYWHERE on my reservation. Please fix your system to show extra fees are already paid BY NAME (Parking: paid, Breakfast: Paid).

Great location near airport and rental car center in a commercial/warehouse district. Beware, there is a 10$/day parking fee and no free internet unless you sign up to Bonvoy(free).

Friendly and efficient staff and food was tasty and served quickly. The hotel was clean and the pool was refreshing. My only complaint is the $10 parking fee…rediculous for a hotel located in a remote area with no walkable restaurants, shopping, or other attractions. Also, rooms would have a much cozier feel if there was at least 1 lamp containing a warm white light bulb instead of all fixtures using the harsh cool white bulbs that make people and surroundings look pale

We stayed one night before flyong out the next morning. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and the pool fekt great on a very hot night. The staff were friendly, the shuttle driver was cheerful and helpful with the luggage.

Great hotel close to Sky Harbor airport.

We didn’t like the fact that after we took the wrong shuttle (Marriott Bonvoy) from the airport to the wrong hotel and called Courtyard Marriott to ask them to come and pick us up, they refused. Luckily (Marriott Bonvoy) came back and picked us up and brought us to Courtyard by Marriott. It was 1:00am in the morning. But both shuttles run 24 hours. Thank God.

Everyone was wonderful at 1 am! Came straight to the airport for us and check in was quick and easy.

I liked everything. The only thing I didn’t like is the advertised they had a restaurant and it was clised during our stay due to holiday. I wiahvwe had known in advance. Everything else was great.

Comfortable and spacious room

The staff were friendly. The shuttle service was timely and easy to use. When you arrive you call from the airport after retrieving your luggage. It was a short 15 minute wait after that. The restaurant inside the inn was very quaint. I had just a burger and fries. It was well made but overpriced in my opinion. I ate elsewhere the remainder of my visit. Note, the free coffee is the stuff they leave in your room. Not the coffee at the entrance restaurant area. The jacuzzi was divine after hiking all day. They do provide towels but they are self serve in a hut by the pool. There is also a wonderful fire pit next to the pool! A very splendid little inn.

The building looks run down outside. Inside the elevator looks old and worn out. I thought all Marriott hotels included a complimentary breakfast and this one did not (my fault for not verifying before booking my stay). We bought a bagel and muffin and the total was $15.

The bar/restaurant was more like an airport cafe. Ice machines on all floors weren’t working.

The staff are super nice. But things like the fitness center have no locks so it can feel unsafe. Also some wall outlets that def need to be plastered over versus wires hanging out lol. Weird room confirmation for my room at least b But STAFF ARE NICE!!

Wonderful time and helpful staff when I needed help

The person who checked mr in very late on Friday October 27th was so quick, efficient and kind. She even made sure I had a tub in my room. I was exhausted and she made such a difference! Excellent customer service!

Food prices are quite high and they don't take cash. The pool is nice and I spent most of my time there. The jacuzzi is pathetic though with hardly any bubbles. My room was clean but looked out to the car park and had no chairs for the balcony, I guess because it was the cheapest. Very convenient shuttle to the airport.

Some of the renovations where not done well in the bathroom. There was a gap in between the new shower doors that leaked water all over the floor.

The water was cut off with no notice whatsoever and we weren’t even able to finish showering. Couldn’t even brush our teeth of use the toilet!!!

Poor property

Although some construction was taking place, the property is well maintained and quiet with very friendly staff (especially the night shift lady, she was very nice). The pool is actually really lovely, as is the whole pool area. Nice loungers, plenty of shade and pool towels. My only complaints are that the shuttle wasn't available to collect us from the Airport as they only had one person working that night (we arrived at 11pm with 2 young kids and lots of luggage) but they kindly got us a Lyft. So we did have to wait a bit but they sorted it. And when we arrived, the room we had booked (1 bedroom suite) wasn't available, but they put us in another room (standed double) which was fine considering how tired we were.

The only negative I would have is not with the hotel. It is with Expedia because when I went to look up my reservation it was not in my trips. Although 3 days before we arrived at the hotel it was there. Where did it go? Luckily they had everything we needed to check in and we still had our reservation. Just got a little nervous.

For Marriott name, you would believe a nicer hotel & being nearby the airport a nicer room would be comfortable, not the case it was very average room conditions, the room was smaller, with a king bed n foldout couch took up the space, we had side step pass each to use the bathroom or freshen up. The tv sitting a dresser/frig was very close to the bed you could rollover grab a snack & never leave the bed, the couch was older very uncomfortable, need upgrade on rooms, the front lobby looked exceptional which fooled me, not staying here again

This was not a good experience. First, the hotel had to be called repeatedly to send a shuttle resulting in a roughly 40 minute wait outside of the PHX airport. Second, I had booked a room with a king bed and was given a room with two twin beds. Finally, I unfortunately forgot my cell phone charger in the room and called repeatedly over the following week to inquire if it was found. I have left two messages with staff and have not received even the courtesy of a callback. I will never stay at this hotel again.
