Courtyard Phoenix North by Marriott

The restaurant was closed. Huge drawback. I was told it was due to lack of occupancy.

It is a regular place that I choose to stay while attending school. The staff is nice, and when requested certain things they take care of me.

Bistro was closed on weekends. That was not in your advertisement and was a disappointment given the rest of our stay was great!

The rooms were clean and creature free! Stains on carpet from prior renters but not an issue! Cleaning people were very friendly, though we did not have them in yo clean, we had no problem getting supplies and getting rid of trash! Would definitely stay there again!!!!

the property was cool and in a central area but the lack of cleanliness makes it hard to enjoy. the room had a foul smell i’m assuming from the vent or pipes and the shower was not clean. i was uncomfortable in the room and thankful we only had to stay 2 nights. would NOT return

$10 a day for parking in an empty lot is ludicrous. Otherwise, it’s a decent place. I like First Watch next door! It’s good. But that parking fee really drops the rating.

Next morning all my husbands tools were stolen from the bed of his truck. All locks cut. $25k worth of tools gone… they informed us that night the guard was off… go figure our luck. Hopefully they can help take care of this like they are saying. I have hopes as the staff is amazing

When I booked, I was told and I paid for a suite, but when I got there, it was just a single room. I didn't want to complain as I knew that they were very busy, but that was the only thing that was disappointing for us.

Hotel is clean and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. I do believe it needs mentioning that the available breakfast is not complimentary. They also charged $10 for parking. The parking wasn’t monitored or secured by a gate. It’s just general spaces around the building. The location of the hotel is in an awful part of town where there are countless homeless people everywhere. However, I never saw any on the hotel property. We did make sure there was nothing of value left in the car overnight.

Hotel was very clean. Room was very clean. There was handicap accessible Parking a few feet from the entrance that led to the elevators. Staff was so friendly and provided us with a room with a balcony. The Starbucks located in the main lobby offered a nice variety of coffee. The hotel was a 20 minute drive to most of the locations we visited Downtown over the Easter holiday. Arizona financial Theatre, Arizona Science Center, & Chase Field. Directly across the hotel is a small amusement park with great rides and a beautiful Merry go round🎠 . There's also a Walmart and several great restaurants near by. Overall, it was a great stay.

The hotel was adequate but the area was sketchy, there were homeless camps and people begging in the area. I was uncomfortable going for my regular run.

Whole hotel is clean & modern, including the room itself. Renovations are complete… looks like bathrooms were upgraded… great shower. Very efficient check-in / check-out. All employees were very nice. One disappointment: no HH at Bistro due to Thanksgiving holiday.

I accidentally booked Courtyard by Marriott at a wrong location. I thought a booked on in Old Town Scottsdale with was a block or two from my business work, but my reservation was actually 30 miles away. I searched for hotels near me while at my business meeting in Old Town. I tried to transfer to (the more expensive Courtyard) but Courtyard, nor Hotels. Com would allow it. Piss poor customer service.

Hotel was everything we needed at a reasonable price. Good staff, well maintained facilities, quiet and comfortable.

The bathroom fan didn’t work, there was no ventilation and visible mold growth. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I’ve stayed here multiple times because the property is well taken care of and the management provides excellent service. The cafe on site has a good menu too, but the he added restaurant next door is great for breakfast and lunch. My only complaints are mattress was too soft and towels, in particular the wash cloth, was not very soft. Replacement of both would get this property 5 stars.

However, when we arrived at 3:30 PM, the room was still not ready. We were informed that there would be an additional one-hour wait due to delays. As a result, we were forced to get ready in the hotel lobby, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. To make matters worse, no complimentary drinks or gestures were offered to compensate for the inconvenience. We were finally able to access our room at 5:00 PM—exactly when we needed to leave—causing us to be late for the concert. This experience was extremely disappointing and fell far short of the level of service I expected. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and implement measures to prevent this from happening to future guests. I would also appreciate appropriate compensation for the inconvenience we experienced.

Our stay was amazing! The staff was incredible. Our refrigerator in our room went out sometime after 11pm the first night and the brought a new one up with in 10 minutes. Property was clean, had a bar and food on property. 10/10 recommend and will definitely stay here again.

I like the cleanliness and convenient traffic location.

We had our own pillows which made the experience better as the bed was a bit hard but comfortable.

My husband has stayed here twice before for out kids competition we live in Las Vegas NV I came this time with my husband for a family wedding this place is clean always staff are very nice and friendly I asked for extra towels got them within 5 mins !!! That never happens this room was perfect in every way so much space that shower was so great/big would definitely stay here every time I come to Phoenix, Arizona

The bed is comfortable, clean, the beautiful territory of the hotel and a nice pool. free parking. I didn't like the fact that breakfast ends at 9.30 am, it's too early. Also, the breakfasts were not delicious, the waiting time was long. There is no free drinking water in the room. Water costs $5 a small bottle. I also didn't like the shower stall with a built-in shower - it's outdated and inconvenient. The shower head must have a long hose.

This was one of the friendliest places I’ve ever stayed at! Everyone greets you with a smile. It is such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear, comfortable, spacious and I would definitely stay here again!

It was only an overnight stay, but so enjoyable, that we wished we had another night. It was a long and tiresome drive so we decided to grab a bite at the bistro rather than go out. Food was very tasty and hit the spot. Cocktails were delicious, and staff extremely pleasant. It was the most relaxed we've been in a long time. Would happily stay here again.

Property is next to a very busy and noisy freeway. We had a room (261) facing the freeway and it was so loud, hard to sleep at night. Also, the bathroom was gurgling at night and we woke up to find that the shower drain had overflowed.

The front desk was very welcoming, and attentive. Rooms were nice, the amenities were as described. The onky bad thing was the area which was rather sketchy .Unfortunately Phoenix has a large homeless problem.

Extremely friendly staff made our stay go very smooth. James at the bar was very friendly and efficiently provided our group a large order despite there being no chef present.

The property is clean. Impeccable. I am a picky guest when it comes to cleanliness, and this place is one of the best I've seen. Truly. The lobby, the gym, the courtyard, the rooms, hallways, pool, elevators, and café were in tip-top shape. The only minor downsides: the laundry room, which as 1 washing machine and 1 dryer, smelled so overwhelmingly sour when I opened the door, that I could not do laundry here. Second and final downside is the surrounding area, which, sadly like most places around the city, has a lot of homeless people loitering. While I only encountered one person/ instance in the parking lot of our hotel during a week stay, it was only in passing - no confrontation or contact. I never felt unsafe, and I would stay here again.

The location was great for us, easy to access. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were awful, I think that is a given for hotels. The "restaurant" wasn't really a restaurant, more of a mini bar with food and drinks.

When i booked the room i selected a room with 2 queens beds and the email confirmation also stated 2 queen beds. Upon check in and arriving to our room, we got a room with a king bed and sofa bed. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked for the night. So we were stuck with the king bed.

Nothing special. No breakfast. Coffe in room only had powered creamer…yuk and nothing available for purchase until 7:00 am. They would not answer phone for me to do late check-in. Said it was because I booked thru you. So I will neither use hotels.com again or stay at Courtyard. Bad experience.

Great place to stay. Comfy, clean, and friendly. Didn’t care for their “continental breakfast”, they really didn’t have one. You purchase it from Starbucks. But overall, two thumbs up.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Rooms were clean. They also offer a GCU discount since we were traveling to visit a student there. Wonderful experience!

I would definitely stay here again. It was safe, clean and comfortable. A breakfast and brunch restaurant right next door was a plus. Although next time I would request a room facing the inside where I would not hear the highway, but my roommate’s head nothing. I just might have more sensitive hearing. But I would stay there again without a doubt.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was so clean and housekeeping were so attentive.

We booked a room with TWO beds, for 2 adults and 2 kids and was given a room with ONE bed. While the person at the counter was cool, walking into a room with ONE bed was absolutely disappointing. We have kids, we shouldn’t have to return to the counter for this. They should have paid closer attention from the start.
