The hotel was nice, our room on the 8th floor was clean and had a great mountain view, and housekeeping did an excellent job. We also enjoyed the pool and the complimentary breakfast. The main issue was the check-in experience. After traveling five hours from out of state, the employee who checked us in came across as rude and unwelcoming. The heavy sighs and remarks made us feel uncomfortable. We also observed a similar interaction with another guest. While the guest may have interrupted, the situation could have been handled in a more professional and courteous manner. On a positive note, another employee later helped answer our questions and was much friendlier and more welcoming. Unfortunately, I did not get anyone's name. The only other downside was the bed, which we found uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back and expected a more comfortable mattress for a hotel of this quality. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast, pool, housekeeping, and mountain views were all highlights. With a more welcoming check-in experience and better mattress comfort, this would have been an excellent stay.

The room could have been cleaner. The sofa bed had chip stains on the side of it. The sofa bed was hard as ever. But we loved the staff. From checking in to checking out, they were so helpful. My kids loved that the pool wasn’t freezing and it was indoors.

I was totally disappointed😞 with the breakfast. I stayed at Embassy Suites in Tysons Corner. VA and I thought it would be the same. To me it was Holidays Inns breakfast.

Rooms were comfy and slept with minimal noise and great view Short stay for us and kids love it and would love to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Especially enjoy the managers reception in the evening and the full breakfast offered each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and provide extras like microwave, coffee, refrigerator as well as a mini sink in kitchen area. Only complaint I would offer is it's $32 to park overnight so keep that in mind when pricing this hotel.

One of my favorite hotels in Phoenix! Staff is always pleasant.
- 5/5
Best hotel!!! Very spacious room and bathroom beds and pillows amazing. Staff great help with directions on how to get around property. Highly recommend!!!
- 5/5
Room was mid-clean and bathroom looked old and not very well shape, door was broken etc but it was good other than that, loved it
- 3.5/5
The freshly made omelettes were good. Staff very nice. The rooms were dark, not enough light from the lamps. Very difficult to read. There needs to be brighter lamps at each side of the bed an by the couch. Also, not enough natural light in the atrium area, we felt very closed in.

Great dinner. Free drinks
- 5/5
The person who checked us in at the front desk late at night was very discriminatory and treated us very poorly; however, the staff members during the day were very kind and cordial. The hotel itself was very lovely and clean—it was just that one very rude person, and that occurred when we arrived at night.
- 5/5
We so enjoyed our stay. The Staff was everyone of them helpful, the environment was clean and beautiful and our room was extraordinary in comfort and revitalizing.

This Embassy Suites is a nice facility. The two room king suite was clean and comfortable. We misread the breakfast schedule and showed up about 30 minutes after the kitchen closed. The manager overheard us asking about the schedule and offered to see if the chef could still put together a couple of omelettes for us. She then had them delivered to our room, complete with muffins and OJ. It was our mistake, but we very much appreciated the service above and beyond the norm. We would certainly stay again.

Hotel room was nice. We had an oversized camper on our truck so had to park a ways away on the street which was not very close to property. Didn’t like that but there were no other options and cost a bunch of extra money.

What a beautiful hotel! The happy hour with free drinks was awesome!
- 5/5
The hotel was very well maintained. Breakfast, which is included in your stay was very good, typical of most hotels that offer that service. They included a free drink ticket at the bar during 5:00-7:00, but we had such a busy schedule, we were unable to take advantage of it. Really convenient area and have underground parking, although that is my only complaint. You pay $32.00 a day for parking but on the upside, it is safe, easy access. Overall, a great hotel for downtown Phoenix.

It was a clean property They had a gas leak had to evacuate us. Fire Dept was there 4pm they didn’t call text to tell us we were evacuating until 1130 at night. We were told we would be moved to an upgraded Hilton property. Instead, we were first sent to the wrong hotel. After finally being redirected, the room we received was not an upgrade, but a downgrade. I am a single mother traveling with two children. After an already stressful situation, we arrived late only to find there were not adequate sleeping accommodations. One of my children had to sleep on the floor using hotel bedding, and we did not get settled until approximately 2:00 AM. I have attached photos to show the conditions we were left with. This is not what any guest should experience, especially after being displaced and reassured we would be taken care of. I work hard to provide my children with meaningful vacations, and this situation was both disappointing and exhausting. The compensation offered does not reflect the level of inconvenience, stress, and lack of proper accommodations we experienced.

I had another wonderful stay here. This is my second time at the hotel, and it has truly become my preferred place to stay whenever I’m in town. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and especially kind to kids, which makes a huge difference for families like mine. The environment feels safe, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast menu was excellent as well — a great way to start the day. Thank you to the entire team for maintaining such a high standard of service. I’ll definitely be back.

hotel was closed due to a carbon monoxide …worse experience ever and was on the phone for 2 hours for you guys to accommodate me which you fail as well. Last time I’ll be using Expedia
- 1/5
I arrived at around 4 PM and checked in, and within two hours, the entire building had been cleared because of a carbon monoxide leak in which three people were hospitalized. It took another 90 minutes or so of waiting outside to be told that the building was going to be closed down for the night, and then be escorted upstairs by the fire department to retrieve my bags. I did not get any explanation for why this occurred, but I don’t think I am going to be staying at another hotel across this company’s various brands if the conditions to allow something like this to occur are allowed to happen at one of their properties.
- 1/5
Everything was poor. Do not recommend this property.
- 2/5
Our stay was awesome up until Friday. The people who work there are great, the breakfast was good, the amenities like free drinks, the room etc., all were enjoyed. Our issue came the last night when the hotel was evacuated for a CO2 leak. I understand the difficult position the staff was put in, with the leak more than likely being out of their control and really the responsibility lies with the hotel itself to properly service their equipment. My issue is I have been trying to contact the hotel for a refund of our Friday night stay. We were placed in a separate hotel after a process in which we were evacuated, told to wait outside, then told to wait in a neighboring building, then told it would be resolved shortly, only to find that upon initiating communication with the hotel via message, that we needed to return to gather our belongings. We then were escorted up to our room, asked to pack and check out, and were given a stay at another hotel. I am not dismissing the efforts of the staff on duty, or the awesome fire fighters, or even the other hotel. What I have been trying to talk with someone about since and have been ignored is a refund of our Friday night stay for the original Embassy Suites. The hotel we were comped for is for the trouble and potential harm experienced. All I would like is to speak with someone in regards to Fri night.

Great experience! Close to Phoenix airport. Which we could have stayed longer!

- 1/5
Horrible, had to get evacuated and no one from the hotel communicated with me. Also was booked for two nights was told they would pay the stay at a different hotel and when I was checking out was told they would only pay for one night. Had the nerve to say that was communicated with me, it never was. I don’t like being lied to, will never stay there again
- 0.5/5
The Fire Department closed them down due to gas leak. So I didn't stay there. No prior notification before arriving. They paid for one night at another hotel, not their sister property. We had to find sleeping arrangements for the second night. The staff that met me in the lobby was polite and professional. Since I prepaid, she informed me they will need to contact the third party booking company regarding the cancelation. My rating is not fair, since there wasn't an "N/A" face.

The stay was horrible. When I checked in I went to my room and I opened the curtains and saw something moving out of my peripheral and it was a bug crawling on one of the beds. I screamed ran to get tissue and against my own will I killed the bug. Absolutely disgusting.

Great rooms fantastic staff quality breakfast
- 5/5
Cons: have to pay for parking, our room was 3rd floor street side so a lot of traffic noise

Staff is 100% courteous and helpful. I could not ask for a better place
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and staff were helpful and friendly

The staff, room, food, simply everything was fantastic! We needed to be close to St. Joseph Hospital, and it was literally 3 blocks away. The staff were super helpful and gave additional savings since we were there as visitors to the hospital. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
- 5/5
Room was spotless, amenities great. We were awoken before 8am to an alarm that seemed to come out of the fire alarm. Did not appreciate this. Otherwise stay was wonderful
- 3/5
Overall our experience with the actual staff and hotel was normal. You can see in our room where some stuff was a little overused or out dated but nothing crazy. My biggest complaint was that I unknowingly booked at the same that the AZ national livestock show was in town. The hotel was packed full of families and the ones on our floor were extremely loud. We were woken up at almost midnight to teens ding dong ditching and yelling and cussing in the small common area in front of the elevators. The shape of this building makes the sound carry so it was even louder. These kids were out there for hours alone with no supervision. After hearing this for hours I finally decided to call the front desk. Staff went up and fixed the issue right away. When we got up early the next morning there was trash left on the tables and seats and looked like the teens had crushed up their snacks and threw them all over the floor right outside of the elevator. Our trip would have been great had it not been for that group of teens.

Not much to do in downtown Phoenix, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.
- 5/5
Room was great, and clean, just lighting was to dim, staff was great
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice. The pool was warm and the kids and I enjoyed our selves. Great breakfast. Please thank the staff for the wonderful job they do.
- 4/5
Room was good. Food was great. The parking was annoying
- 5/5
Clean and comfy room. Bartenders at the social hour were top notch and made it a blast. Definitely will stay here again on my next Phoenix stay.
- 5/5
Staff was exceptional. Food and drinks were excellent. Room was perfect.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was clean, but the carpet was getting old and could be replaced.
- 4/5
The bar service was excellent. The room was average- but most importantly my hotel neighbors had a domestic and violent dispute at 1:00 am. The man’s temper was so explosive it awoke me from a dead sleep. His cursing and throwing things against the wall was terrifying to wake up to. I can’t imagine how terrified his spouse must’ve felt. I know this isn’t the hotels fault but I felt like I needed to mention it since it was a very scary situation.
- 2/5
I made this reservation for a client and when he went to check in they couldn't find his reservation. I would like to know what happened so I have an explanation for my executive team.
- 5/5
everything was excellent
- 5/5
I loved the look of the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms. The parking was different being unattached from the hotel and the cost of parking was high.
- 5/5
Knowledgeable and courteous front desk staff.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, convenient location, paid parking but in an indoor parking lot that is close to the premises, nice staff, clean room. The hotel structure is in a geometric shape that is not square, hence the room was triangular, like a wedge. So the TV for example is not directly in front of bed but at an angle. It's slightly odd but the screen is huge and that helped.
- 5/5
The hotel was excellent. Loved the restaurant onsite. The food was delicious. Complimentary drinks at night and breakfast in the morning. Great for a family stay. Pool was awesome too and the room was perfect for my family of 4.
- 5/5

Loved the breakfast and reception in the evening. The balcony was a fun surprise. We mainly booked for it's indoor pool thats hard to find in Phoenix as it was unseasonably cold during our stay. Was pleasantly surprised with all the other amenities included!

Great staff. The room was nice but was placed by hotel staff room, so a bit loud and the shower was having some temperature issues.
- 5/5
I didn’t have breakfast here. Staff was nice, and balcony did have a nice view.
- 5/5

Always a wonderful place to stay. The staff are excellent, especially Stephen at the front desk, who makes you feel the hotel is a home away from home. The breakfast is very good, with made-to-order omelets.

Upon arriving, the check-in staff was awesome. The gentleman who attended to me was great. He stated that the rooms wouldn't be ready until closer to 3 pm, which was very nice about it. He was helpful and the cleaning staff was awesome also, they helped me find what I needed and gave me attention right away
- 5/5
Clean room, great views and friendly/helpful staff

Great place, great Staff

Dirty dirty windows. One of the filthiest windows ive encountered. Guy who checked us in was ok. Good waitstaff at the hotel restaurant.
- 5/5
Nice surprises, like the evening reception, delicious breakfast including custom-made omelets (SO GOOD!) and a full breakfast buffet, good coffee. The bed was so comfortable and the room includes a fridge and microwave. We had an easy walk to the AMAZING Heard Museum, and there was more to explore in the area on foot. Uber to the airport costs about $20. This is a beautiful hotel in a safe area with food options nearby.

Supervisors need to do better inspections of the rooms, furniture and walls need attention.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great view was ok
- 5/5
It was very clean and yes, the activities for all individuals. We did not have a balcony.
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms
- 5/5
Very clean hotel, very friendly staff, highly recommend.
- 3/5
Good location and quiet. Room was clean. The room had several maintenance issues such as loose fixtures, doors over vent filters that were sitting on the floor, faucets in bar sink that did not work well, etc.
- 5/5
Enjoy my room
- 5/5
The omelets are soooo good. We had a great stay, but we usually like to do brunch in new towns. We didn’t here because the food provided by the hotel for breakfast was so great.

Bedbugs...
- 3/5
The front desk clerk was bored and detached. Not welcoming. The refrigerator in the room is not stocked and room service closes at 10. Breakfast was C+ dry scrambled eggs and cheap sausage. The ambience is impersonal and corporate. Not our kind of hotel.
- 5/5
Nice hotel... good value. Complimentary drinks were nice. Room was comfortable.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I will definitely stay there every time I visit Phoenix.
- 5/5
We found the staff from the reception area to the lounge area were very friendly and welcoming.
- 4/5
The suite’s sitting area and spaciousness made it easy for local family to stop by for a visit. The property was very nice and the front desk employees were very helpf.
- 5/5
Room was fantastic.
- 5/5
Room was fantastic.
- 4/5
I liked the area, but wasn't impressed that we had to pay for parking. Otherwise, we felt safe and it was pretty quiet.
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to everything with clean rooms
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a big spacious lobby. I would be back.
- 3/5
Don't lose the parking pass! The people who manage the parking garage are very unhelpful.
- 5/5
Stephan greeted us at reception desk. A nice young man. A great way to start a vacation.

Clean and friendly
- 4/5
Friendly staff. I appreciate the noon checkout and free drinks at the evening receptions. It's fun to ride the glass elevator, too! The room and linens were super clean. Comfortable mattress. Fabulous TV set. Great coffee in the room. Good water pressure in the shower. I didn't give five stars for a number of small reasons that perhaps only a person over 65 like me would notice: The shower floor was very slippery. Lighting was too dim. Could use three.-way bulbs or overhead option, especially in kitchenette. Ottoman and coffee table were very heavy and hard to move The room was a little scruffy around the edges The stay was nice overall. I would recommend and stay here again.
- 5/5
This hotel is world class. The architecture is stunning and the amenities are terrific! Extremely clean and well maintained, beautifully decorated. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel near the Phoenix Convention Center.
- 5/5
I'm here for several days because my brother is in ICU at St. Josephs - I'm exhausted at the end of the day, it was nice to come back to the lounge with a terrific staff- shout out to Luis, Thomas & Kenya who took excellent care of me, made me laugh and that was so appreciated after long days at the hospital. I was also impressed with the dinner menu, loved the salmon w/ cheesy rosoto & pancetta wrapped asparagus. Thank you for making a difficult time bearable. Debra
- 5/5
Would come here again
- 5/5
The bartenders were amazing
- 2/5
Shower floor was so slippery it was dangerous. Bed was awful

This is our second time staying at this Embassy Suites, and we really enjoyed our stay. Covered parking that is very convenient, simple check-in, room was very nice and quiet. Centrally located for our destinations.
- 5/5
Everything was awsome. The employess were so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable.
- 5/5
Always clean , staff always courteous, only request is I wish breakfast wasn’t over so early . People on vacation like to sleep in
- 5/5
Front desk was very helpful. Easy and fast check in
- 5/5
Breakfast was awesome, rooms were nice, cocktail hour was impressive. Very nice place, we’ll be back. Also parking lot was convenient and safe.
- 5/5
I stayed at Embassy Suites in Downtown Phoenix while moving my daughter in to college. The hotel is always nice and clean and comfortable, They have a wonderful breakfast with fresh made options. The vicinity to the college is perfect and the area the hotel is located in is nice
- 5/5
Room was clean. Lighting us not great. One light bulb out. Frobt desk staff was great.
- 5/5
This was my second time staying here, and I love it. Rooms are just the right size. Staff is always really nice. Totally recommend it.
- 5/5
I really liked this property. Lots of options within walking distance.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and we love the complimentary cocktail hours.
- 5/5
Nice property
- 4/5
There was blood on one comforter. Small splatter on the bottom, one spot on the side and one spot on the top seam. Also the shower wasnt draining. Maintenance came and snaked it.
- 5/5
Everything was clean, calm, and cool! Love staying here.
- 5/5
The elevator took awhile but all in all good night stay. Loved the bed and VIEW!!
- 2/5
Our room was comfortable and clean. The service was great. However, we had a couple issues. Our remote control sometimes worked for the first hour and then it stopped working completely. The shower was odd, it was a walk-in with no step but no matter how we angled the shower head, a ton of water ended up on the floor outside of the shower. When we checked in at 8:30 pm, there was quite a long wait and the total price was over $70 higher than what we were quoted. Our quote did include fees and taxes so I was surprised by what we were charged.
- 1/5
We came in with our family of 9 and booked 2 queen suites. It was a surprise to us to find our kids pull out couch absolutely disgusting. I wish we could attached a photo (brown and yellow). When we called to switch our room, and tell them the issues, they were dismissive asking us “if the mattress smelt like pee?” and told us to come get a new key. When we arrived downstairs to grab a new key, we tried to show the staff the disgust of the mattress, they have people using and he had no care in the world to even look at the image and said “ya I get it”. This hotel is NOT even close to being clean. We travel a lot and considering the reviews, we will not be returning.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good
- 3/5
We enjoyed our stay in phx. Location and hotel were great. The room had a problem with shower, mirror, and fan in restroom. shower was not draining. 1st day i told front desk. They said it would get fixed but it didnt. It was overwhelming having to worry about water overflowing outside of shower.
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying here, we had a really nice suite, and we really enjoyed the breakfast.
- 5/5
I don’t remember his name but he was tall and very friendly he was making sure the front desk stayed nice and clean . The room looked great , great location and overall great experience.
- 5/5
Will definitely stay again. Cool, clean and convenient
- 5/5
Embassy Suites is my favorite place to stay, friendly customer service, comfortable beds, outstanding amenities and excellent complimentary breakfast options! This Phoenix location added a sweet welcome gesture, featuring my name on the screen upon arrival!
- 5/5
Pay separately for parking
- 4/5
Overall comfortable stay. Comfortable mattress, blackout curtains. Shower pressure was so-so. $32 parking seemed a bit steep.
- 3/5
The sound from the party going on downstairs carried up to the fifth floor and made it hard to sleep. The front door hangs up. The coffee maker wasn’t operating correctly and the most annoying issue is that the toilet had to be flushed 2 to 3 times. The carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced. We had dinner at the restaurant. The food and service were excellent.
- 5/5
The staff were all very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Nice experience
- 5/5
Breakfast buffet was ok.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Great price, close to chase field, complimentary breakfast was very good and room was quiet and comfortable.
- 5/5
Fun happy hour. Clean and comfortable place
- 4/5
parking was 32 dollars
- 3/5
They carged me $35 parking fee to park in this far away garage, not connected to the hotel and didnt say a word about that huge parking fee until check out. Then when she told me she wasn't giving my deposit back because of the parking fee iwas shocked and all she said was "the information is listed on the website". I didn't book from their website and had no warning about this. That money they charged my card was my gas money to get home. So i was stranded and they could care less. Not cool!
- 5/5
Had an enjoyable stay
- 5/5
A wonderful weekend getaway to Phoenix and staying at the Embassy Suites Downtown North location. Great overall stay. Thumbs Up!
- 5/5
wonderful place. Conveniently located and quiet. Wonderful mattress as well.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice for a one night stay. Room was clean and quiet, there’s wear and tear in some places. The restaurant service and food was great and the breakfast options were good as well. The staff is probably the best part of the hotel. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience! Hosts were friendly, breakfast was awesome, and the pool was so nice!
- 5/5
The room was good and the staff was great. The food in the restaurant was okay. My burger was dry but it was kind of expected in a lobby restaurant. The area was great and we might come back just to stay here and wander the downtown area. I would highly recommend this spot if you want a hotel that feels high end with reasonable prices.
- 5/5
Very nice and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great night and staff was great.
- 3/5
Everything was amazing, only thing I would like to be added when booking is that you need to pay for parking at the hotel if not you’re stuck parking down the street which is a huge inconvenience when vacationing at a hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful view from our room
- 5/5
We like this property. It is convenient when flying in and out of Phoenix Sky Harbor. The hotel has a nice bar and friendly atmosphere.
- 5/5
Sink area in the bathroom was way to small. No room to put your toiletries or make-up. Snacks at the reception were lacking and week-day breakfast should last until at least 9:30am.
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay !
- 5/5
Amazing lobby and public spaces. Room was perfect. Dining service was spectacular the food was good. Definitely will return.
- 5/5

Cleanliness
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Large room for family of four. Front desk staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
The cell phone charging ports in some of the fixtures were deffective and the shower was luke warm one morning.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent! Breakfast could have had more options for individuals with egg allergy.
- 4/5
Customer service was the best. Unfortunately, the water situation was not great. The water may shut off on you.
- 4/5
It was a nice enough overnight stay. The toilet flush was very loud and long and the bathtub didn't drain well. But the room was spacious and clean. Our reservation confirmation indicated that parking would be $28 but we were charged $32, so we were not pleased with that misrepresentation.
