    The check in staff was great! She was always friendly! The hotel is worn but is under going a renovation. But it was clean despite the age of the rooms. Breakfast was okay.

    Nothing This facility is literally falling apart. There are holes in the floor of the elevator and the hand rail in the elevator is taped to the wall with box tape. The furniture in the room is sun faded and ragged and no where near the window. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. The room had active roaches. We did not even unpack we went to the front desk and requested a refund. We did eventually get the refund and the lady at the desk was very helpful and professional.

    Staff was great, location met our needs We were here Nov 2025 and the condition of the rooms are the same....still remodeling....we have yet to stay in a remodeled room.     The pool was not clean. We could not use it. There are signs that say there are renovations being done on the property, but we do not see any renovations being done. The pictures on the website must be from a few years ago because the rooms are very worn and outdated. The couch was very old and torn when we pulled the bed out. The mattress was a very old and worn. We decided not to use it. They did allow us to move to another room, but the pullout mattress was the same way as the other, so we just stood in the original room. The breakfast was OK. On a good note the staff was very nice and the location was close to my family that we were visiting.

    The hotel was under a major renovation, but that is not reflected on the Expedia site. The pool was not working; there were chips in the paint in the lobby and everywhere else. Breakfast not served one of the days of my three-day stay. Rooms are only cleaned every other day which is tough because the dirt is so ground in that you can smell it. Carpet in hallway to my room had a giant gash out of it that went to the carpet pad, it was a hazard. In addition, the hallway carpet in halls and in rooms was ancient, filthy and stained. Hand railing in one of the main elevators fell off when I bumped it. Hotel difficult to deal with even though the construction limited customer experience and Expedia still charging top dollar. My recommendation: wait this one out until renovation is complete which by the looks of it will be at least late 2027.

    I left my stay earlier than planned due to emergency. Pool did work and many machines did not work in fitness room. My kids enjoyed the breakfast. Found crickets in our beds the first night and for a family of 4 coming I felt towels and blankets should have been more prepared. Overall was a quick stay. Would not recommended for family with small children.

    The hotel is currently under renovation but I had an older room. The room was large but outdated and I found a dead cockroach on the floor. The pool was closed and green, and there was minimal food out for the complimentary breakfast. The staff was friendly but the amenities were just ok and I probably would choose elsewhere in the future.

    The staff were wonderful, but the room was awful. The TV didn’t work so we watched Netflix on our laptop, the lights above the mirrors didn’t work so we got ready for the day in the dark, and there was a leak under the sink that soaked the carpet.

    Checked in quite late and they were able to accommodate our request for 2 adjoining rooms. Clean and comfy rooms. Location can’t be beat. Starbucks downstairs by the pool (which my daughter sadly didn’t get a chance to use bc of our late arrival). Caters to a business clientele so the weekend rates are much lower than during the week. Would definitely stay here again.

    I have stayed at this property many times in the past, but it has been several years. The rooms were clean, but showing wear and outdated. The pool was green and full of algae and unusable. The rooms that back to the freeway are noisy, especially at night. You can hear all the cars on the freeway. This would be a nice, centrally located property if it was updated and renovated with new furniture and carpet.

    Hyatt place is usually our favorite hotel because it is clean and dependable. This experience was very different. The property was very rundown and dirty. Only one working elevator and that one had a broken grab bar. No ice machine. In the room the carpets were stained and dirty. The ceilings were cracked. There were lots of scratches on the door around the door knob. The air conditioning was very loud. There was no soap in the shower, the large container was empty. The room was in terrible disrepair with Messi caulking around the edges. Lots of dust bunnies hanging from the popcorn ceiling.

    It was okay. The sink kept on clogging and room services was every two days. There was no staff at night, just on front desk , so if you needed anything you had to go down to get it yourself. They kept giving us two towels even though we were three in the room. Front desk was helpful and professional.

    The hotel was substandard in many of the things we look for-especially in a name brand hotel chain. The breakfast was below average at best, the food was lower quality, things were not hot, often stale, and there were 2 days menu, they rotated, little variety between day1, and day 2, day 3 was day 1 offering again, we suspect saved from day 1, etc.. The housekeeping was every other day, not a huge issue but they never told us at check-in and our 1st day of housekeeping they.just dumped new towels on the bed(not made up) and the garbage not emptied. We mentioned it and things improved a little. The hallways were dimly lit with 3 kinds of carpeting, some ripped and threadbare. 1 elevator the tile floor was ripped up exposing the plywood underneath and the back railing was detached and loose. The lighting in the rooms was too dim and the furniture had seen better days. There were no ice machines available to the guests and no microwave in the room, thr small communal microwave in the brealfast area was removed during breakfast so we could neither heat up their cold offerings or cook our own leftovers. When we checked in we asked for a top floor room but Anna the clerk said they didn't have any on the top floor.. but " beggars can't be choosey" We will NEVER stay at this Hyatt again and will be very reluctant to choose this brand in the future.

    The room was very neglected. The befs were horrible, stopped up plumbing, no clock by the bed. The walls were beat up wallpaper was peeling. Vanity sink had no cover. They do not take American currency.It was such a disappointment. We have stayed at Hyatts for many years, this will be our last time.

    The room arrangement and size were very good. The sofa was very comfortable. The mini fridge was good. The wet bar was a plus. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The mattress was pretty bad. The shower needed some handholds for older people. The tub needed to be re-surfaced. There was no microwave. The bathroom door interior side looked terrible.

    This was the best stay for two adults and three kids under age 8. The staff was great the room was very comfortable and clean, there was enough space for all of us to be able to stretch out and relax. I recommend if you are going through phoenix and need a place to sleep then here is your sign. Price was great. I will go back.

    When we first arrived the front desk guy wasn’t to helpful especially us coming in from a long drive from California.He eventually was able to accommodate us.We left and return for check in time and the second front desk person was lt more nicer and very helpful.Overall the stay was good the breakfast selection was perfect.

    The room was dirty with stains on the walls. The corner floor corroded. The carpet old and smelly. The bed was lumpy and not comfy at all. The faucet by the pool was not turned off, ran the entire time. It was reported to front desk but they were already aware and maintenance did not know how to fix. Water is wasted. The front desk person said he could not give us another because that is all they could do for rooms. Parkimg had poor lighting. It was not a good place to stay.

    Hotel had some renovations going on and made the hotel look a little dated and dirty. Close to the freeway and highways and you could really hear everything going on outside . Woke me up several times throughout the nights I was there. No ice machine. Have to go to the downstairs bar to get ice for your room. Low water pressure for the shower. Speaking of the shower, we have a few roach’s visit our bathroom during my 3-day stay. The AC in the room is loud and I had to turn it off. Not good considering you have to turn the AC off in Phoenix, AZ. I do not recommend this hotel. Not as nice as other Hyatt Place hotels I have stayed at throughout the country.

    The shower was not very hot and made a whining noise, the fan in the bathroom was squeaky, the couch and carpet was worn and appeared dirty to the extent that I didn’t want to walk around barefoot or sit or place anything on the couch. The best things about this property were the staff and the convenience.

    Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed during Hotel was being renovated. Water pressure was terrible, took longer to shower than normal. Though breakfast selection was very decent, coffee was very weak and often out during service times.

    Would be nice to get my deposit back font know why it takes so long to return it I was there when i checked in and the lady told me it could take up to a month. If it takes that long, I don’t wanna stay there no more than because what are they doing with your money? It’s not right you should put a deposit down and get it back the next day or the same day not keep it for 30 days. They still haven’t gotten to me. It’s been over a week. I’m a little bit irritated. They’re hurting for money that bad then I’ll go somewhere else to stay bad business.

    This was our second time at this property. This last visit there was nothing stating that it was under renovation until we arrived. There was dust in the hallways and the elevator. The first morning, we do not have any hot water. The response from the front desk was nonchalant. Unfortunately we were not able to take a shower. This was a disappointing visit.

    Construction on the property! We were disappointed in the lack of transparency on this property. This was our second time staying at this property. Enjoyed it very much because of the location and it was a close proximity to where we needed to be. After a long drive, we did not have hot water. We were not notified of the hot water being turned off. The response from the front desk was very nonchalant. Unfortunately we were not able to shower that morning.

    I booked 2 rooms, and family booked 4 other rooms for 2 nights. We were there for my daughters graduation. We were never told the wayer would be shut off from 10am to 2pm. No men got to shower and all the women had to shower at a gym off ptoperty. The front desk had no sympathy or solutions for us. Another properly perhaps. Maybe a simple sign that would grab your attention. Sad, because that is the only properly we stay at when we visit our daughter.

    Additionally, I was not informed in advance that the water would be shut off for several hours the next day. This was particularly disruptive, as I was in town for a very important event—my college graduation. To make matters worse, my travel companion, who has experience in fire safety, noticed that the smoke detector in our room was detached from the wall and not functioning, as indicated by the missing signal light. This raised serious safety concerns. Overall, while the location was convenient, the experience was disappointing due to the initial confusion, lack of communication about utility maintenance, and safety oversight in the room.

    It was a great experience staying here!! They were so pleasant and accommodating! The manager went out of his way to make sure I got to the bank to deposit my money for my room. He even took me to dollar tree to get things for my stay!! My family and I were very fortunate to find such a nice place. They serve breakfast and have a refreshing pool. Well worth it!!

    This property is dirty, filthy and has roaches big enough to carry your furniture. Once we saw the roaches ( in the room) we wanted our money back. We left and went to the Hilton. Don’t stay at this property unless you work for a pest control company.🙁

    That property was filthy. Needs to be upgraded. The sink in the bathroom did not drain, it took forever for the shower to get hot water, that carpets were stained and dirty. The cabinet in the hall way was so dusty that we wrote “ please wash me” in the top of it.

    The room itself was another story. The carpet was stained and ripped, the sink was very slow to drain. The main light switch was busted. The light above the wet bar did not work. Some of the outlets did not work either. The couch looked raggy and old. Thr pullout couch matress might as well not have been there. Probably one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. And it is sad, because like I said at the beginning, the staff were so nice and friendly.

    We did not know that the Hyatt Place was under renovations and were in town for a wedding. This place is in really bad shape. Stains on all carpets, maid service only 1 out of 4 days, and likely should not be open until renovations are complete. Staff was nice enough though and it’s of no fault of theirs.

    Many issues whith this place. The bathtub mixer was broken and shower water was boiling. The room was facing the highway and windows have no soundproof system in any form, so it’s like you’re sleeping right at the side of it. The carpet has huge stains all over, among some other inconveniences . A good place if you’re on a budget, but you should avoid it if you want a good sleep and stay in general.

    It’s old and showing its age, but it’s fairly clean. Carpets and sofa pillows were a bit dirty. Mattress wasn’t very comfortable. Mattress in foldout sofa was terrible! They are doing renovations now, so it’ll get better. But overall it was safe, quiet, and there was a nice breakfast spread.

    It was a decent value and the breakfast was good. Rooms were nice (beds, decorations, functional use of space), but things seemed a bit run down. A plug was loose, a light switch was coming out of the wall, shower head not working well. I would stay there again, but just keep my expectations low for a typical Hyatt Place.

    Old and dirty bath tubs, stained room carpet, tv and room entertainment was very poor and outdated! Fridge but not microwave in room. Limited bath towels and toilet paper. In general property needs a makeover specially with the carpets in property. Day shift staff was awesome at the desk. Definitely it is not what the pictures, media and internet advertised!
