The hotel has a great location and the pool is a popular feature. However, the rooms and facilities are in need of updating and cleanliness is a concern for some guests.

You can tell it's an older hotel. But it was clean the only problem we had was the hot water in the jacuzzi tub did not get hot. Told the front desk and the guy came but right away and looked at it and said he can't fix it and left. Did not say anything about us possibly going to the front desk to move rooms or anything. So when we checked out I asked for a discount and they gave us a 10% discount which was good but they also said we should have said something and they would have moved us to a different room. But I felt like the maintenance man should have said something to check with front desk about moving. But other than all that it was good.
- 3/5
One of our rooms only had one trash can, the balcony doors wouldn’t lock, the pool tables were broken, they were understaffed, the beds were hard, the breakfast wasn’t the best, the rooms were clean.
- 5/5
Clean room the staff the pool.
- 1/5
The mattresses themselves were not comfortable. The top blanket looked very old and dingy. Almost like they have been using them for 15+ years. Also, the staff was incredibly nice. Even if they don't do the room cleaning during your stay the woman that was cleaning stopped by my room and knocked to make sure we had towels. She was incredibly nice! The front desk when i checked in was also very nice and very quick. I overall did not enjoy my stay and it felt like the only amenity was the indoor pool (even though it wasn’t very clean either) and the rest of it wasn’t even the full truth. We will not be returning and we will be warning others.

The AC did not work. It was so hot that we could not sleep. The free breakfast buffet was a joke. It consisted of gravy mix with added water, powdered scrambled eggs, hard biscuits, whole apples and some good sausage. Of course we could only eat the sausage because the rest of the food was garbage. The game.room was a joke. I asked for change to shoot pool, the desk employee stated I had to buy tokens from theachine. So I go buy token but the pool tables were broken. I then ask for my money back for the token because the table is broken. All the employee said was, yes it's been broken for weeks and we have asked them to co.e fix it. I said really!!!! The why did you tell me to buy token to play pool if you knew the tables were broken. The furniture in the lobby was extremely worn. There was food all over the carpet. The rooms room not cleaned very well. I will never stay at this place again.

The pool was nice but the smaller kids pool the water was freezing cold but the big pool was so warm so my kids did not like that The cold water in the smaller kids pool, the room was a lot smaller and not clean feeling. Also the light in our bathroom was broken and just cheap looking
- 4/5
The pool was warm and very clean. The room was clean and very open. We had a great stay. It was in walking distance to good food and Great coffee from Rain Brew.
- 5/5
The only issue we had was with the arcade room. Several games weren't working or ate our money. My son said something and they said it had nothing to do with them.
- 3/5
I was really upset with the staff. So when I arrived I was tired and hungry. I gave the lady my credit card and ID. She then gave me a few papers to sign and my keys. I then went to my car and grabbed a bag then went straight to my room. About an hour later I ordered pizza. I couldn't find my credit card or ID. I looked everywhere. I had my partner go down to the front desk and ask if anyone had turned in a credit card or ID. They said NO. They took a quick look around and no credit card or ID. I completely panicked. I went through my bags and purse several times I was out looking in the parking lot. I can't rent a hotel, I can't fly, I can't even get a bus ticket without an ID. I can't just replace my ID or credit card. It was my major credit card. Im from the west coast. I got in a huge fight with my partner. The following day around 3 o'clock I went down to my car to look one last time and I asked the front again if anyone had turned in a ID or credit card and by my surprise they they had it. They hadn't the whole time. They didn't give it back when I checked it. OK that's fine but why didn't they call my room when they found it. They know how important a ID and credit card are especially when traveling. Why wouldn't the staff look up the name on the ID, see what room they are in and CALL THEM and let them know they had it.
- 1/5
The resort if you can call it that is dying. There were missing fixtures throughout the room, the mini fridge was gross, there was poor lighting throughout the room and there were not enough outlets. The worst part was we were told the property, rooms and balconies were smoke free and had to sign waivers that we would not smoke. The people staying under our room would chain smoke on the balcony, making it unpleasant to enjoy the views. We had kids running up and down the halls late into the night slamming doors. When we called down to the front desk to ask for them to get it to stop, we were told at 10:50 pm that quiet time started at 11pm and they couldn’t do anything until then. When we went down for breakfast at 9:am all the food was being taken away, breakfast ended at 9:30 am. When we mentioned the sleep disturbances, we were told that the patrons had a three strike chance and they couldn’t do anything about it. When we were asked to speak to a manager to make things right, they told us no. The pool is not the highlight they make it out to be, the water is too hot. The shower water fixture came off and we had to fix it to use it. There were so few luggage carts or they would not be returned.
- 0.5/5
I didn't like anything at all about this location. The room, the pool, and everything.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
The price and location were great. The room was clean. The pool was nice, however the big pool was much warmer than the kiddie pool you would think that would be reversed but no big deal. The arcade took your coins and only half the machines worked. The staff were okay but could've been a lot friendlier.
- 3.5/5
Very nice ppl Room service half clean

- 0.5/5
The pool and arcade , also the location was the only good thing about this hotel. First of I felt like they put me in the worst room in the hotel, when I booked it said balcony with view , my view was a dirt hillside and also where all the workers hung out to smoke and all the construction trash and stuff was , that my bathroom door wouldn’t open from the inside and the balcony lights didn’t work. Which I was not told upon check in. The front deck was not the best either.
- 5/5
The staff were helpful and very nice and the room was clean.
- 5/5
XD
- 5/5
The pool was AMAZING! Everything was very clean.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay! My wife, 11yr old, and myself stayed here for the weekend and had a great time! Beds were comfy and sheets were clean. Breakfast is served every morning from 7:30am-9:30am and is catered by the restaurant next door. The food was pretty good and hard to beat for a free breakfast. The pool is open til 1am and at times got a bit rowdy but we always found times it was completely empty. Our room was clean and very neat, housekeeping was quick with fresh towels and bathroom supplies. The hotel is of course older but has been updated fairly recently and all in all was clean and what we expected for $220 for the entire weekend. Would definitely stay here again. If I had one complaint it would be that the mini fridge was a bit noisy but other than that it was great!
- 4/5
Its a older resort, was awsome in its day, price we paid was very reasonable. In middle of all the tourist stuff, walking distance to several places to eat. Not many people were there the week we stayed but asked for a balcony room, desk clerk said none available but only small handful of cars in parking lot. Maintenence guy i think named Allen was very helpful. Would stay there again
- 3/5
The room was not satisfactory and the breakfast was bad. We eat out. Not staying here again
- 5/5
My husband and I had a wonderful time. I got the room with a jacuzzi in it. It was nice after a long day. Everything was great BUT breakfast was awful. Plan to go out for breakfast. There’s a Crackel Barrel in walking distance.
- 3/5
Said there was a hot tub went to the. Pool looked around no hot tub don’t know how I could’ve missed it? Room was clean had a odd Oder at first though we got used to it tv is outdated microwave didn’t work breakfast needs more of a variety but all together for location and price it was worth it
- 3/5
Breakfast was horrible. Yes brought over by woodgrill but to hotel not go there and it was hard no options. Lamp was real dusty and room had a smell and tub had a ring. Front desk not that helpful.
- 4/5
very warm pool grandson did not want to do anything in pigeon forge but play in the pool
- 4/5
clean
- 5/5
Great place. We will be back
- 4/5
Good value for rooms. Nice pool and water slide. Good location
- 3/5
The pool was nice and warmed. Breakfast was pretty good but exactly the same everyday
- 2/5
We stayed 2 nights in April 2026 for a baton & dance competition. I picked the location for being close to the competition location and for the affordable price. The hotel is old and outdated. our bathroom had a tubular like enclosure that was claustrophobic. What I liked about the room was the full kitchen. The bed was uncomfortable. I asked for an extra pillow (we had 3) and an extra blanket at front desk, and was told they did not have any to spare. The breakfast was sub par. It was catered by the restaurant close to it wood grill buffet, that had chafing dishes out. By the time we got to free breakfast (45 min before it ended) there was nothing left but biscuits and gravy and condiments. The one amenity that we didn’t take advantage of because we had not time, was the pool. Unfortunately, when we went to see what the pool looked like it was packed with dozens of teenagers. Which was another reason we didn’t take advantage of the pool. We will not be staying there again.
- 5/5
The Bottom Line: A bustling, commercial family resort. Excellent for keeping kids entertained on-site. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Check in was very slow
- 5/5
Always enjoy staying there !!
- 2/5
Property is old and falling apart. The bathroom literally is falling apart. The TV and furniture is outdated and need replacement. The check-in process is also from the 80s.
- 3/5
Todo el servicio estuvo bueno. Lo unico que no estuvo acorde al hotel fue el desayuno el cual estuvo pesimo.
- 5/5
Everything was great had no problems at all close to everything will stay again…..
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 3/5
Property is older and dusty. The staff is nice. Breakfast is basic and not a real buffet just pans of basic food. Little juice cups for orange juice and a coffee dispenser. It’s great for affordable family accommodations because it’s the cheapest resort in the area.
- 3/5
The chairs in the lobby needs to be replaced they are dirty and stinks. Our room needed some attention it needed the caulking replaced around the bath tub and the bathroom door is in bad shape.Didn’t use the pool or hot tub.
- 4/5
Elevators could used updated old and door took forever to open
- 1/5
This is in close proximity to a lot of things to do, but beware the location does not make up for the outdated decor, mildewed furniture and carpet, and unclean rooms.
- 2/5
The room did not have an iron. When we reached out to front desk, they were indifferent, to put it kindly. This places need to be avoided at all cost. What a dump!
- 2/5
The breakfast was horrible and the room was outdated.
- 3/5
Location is excellent central to pretty much everything. Pool is not well maintained or balanced but for what you’re paying it’s what you get. People were literally writing messages in the grime on the walls. Breakfast buffet is not great. We arrived on Thursday hotel was literally dead they refused to accommodate us and put us next to or even on same floor as family we were traveling with. Seemed unreasonable as it was literally empty until Friday arrivals. For that reason I wouldn’t stay here for future trips.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Clean and quiet. Convenient location
- 4/5
Clean
- 5/5
10/10 recommend booking. No easy handicap parking
- 5/5
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The pool & slide was the best part, the water temp was perfect. Breakfast was good. The beds need updating, wasnt too comfortable. Overall, Id definitely stay again for the warm pool!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
The pool was so warm and inviting. The slide was awesome. The food was excellent at the buffet. No complaints here. Will definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Room was ok ,staff no issue ,very bad breakfast I will give -1 on the quality of the food very bad
- 3/5
2 days in a row we returned to our room and the doors were left open. I was very upset. I called the front desk and no one ever got back to me.
- 2/5
The lobby was clean but the third floor smelled terrible. The hotel staff said they couldn’t control substances used by guests causing the smell
- 5/5
We had such a wonderful stay at Grand Smokies Resort Lodge! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. One of our favorite parts was definitely the indoor pool — it was perfect for relaxing and family fun. The atmosphere was cozy, and everything made our trip feel easy and enjoyable. We had no issues during our stay and would absolutely stay here again!
- 1/5
Rotten floor around the bathtub. The outside looking out of the balcony were several broken tvs junk piled up everywhere around the property. Dirty diaper mush around the pool with several kids slipping and falling on. Breakfast was hard biscuits and gravy with a side of cold eggs. Cabinet in the room was missing doors. The room spelled like dog pee. Definitely needs some work
- 1/5
The ac didnt work, the doors to the balcony wouldn't lock and we were on the second floor, the shower rod was off the wall. The soap dispensers were out, the toilet paper was out and the previous persons vape and food was in the fridge
- 2/5
I wanted to love this place. Amazing view of great smokies from my 5th floor window! Nice pool with slide, great staff, great location. The walls and doors are paper thin though. Infant crying next door all day and night almost. People yelling in hallways late at night and no staff coming to try to stop it.
- 5/5
It’s was very clean ,the pool stayed open till 1am love everything about it
- 4/5
It had a very nice pool for adults and children. There was a slide into the pool. The staff kept our room clean and replenished the towels for us. We did have the option to put a do not disturb sign on our door if we didnt want housekeeping to touch the room. Our room had a kitchen with a bar table and chairs. It had a full size refrigerator. The only negative to our room was the bed frame made a noise on one side when we got up. The breakfast was eggs, biscuit, gravy, and fruit(apple or banana). The meat was sausage the day we ate. The breakfast is catered by the grill next door and it was served in the back lobby of the hotel.
- 1/5
Reasonable, clean, nice heated pool, kitchen area, fireplace, very cozy, beds not so comfy, but great location! Small breakfast choice, but appreciated!
- 4/5
Breakfast was late and not much os a variety. Powdered eggs, only biscuits and gravy offered not plain toast.
- 3/5
Pool water was nice and warm but found roaches in the hallway right after we left the room to check out.
- 5/5
The check in staff was so nice! The room is very nice and everything is clean! The bed is comfy!
- 4/5
The hotel was clean. They could use work on their breakfast buffet in the morning. Very meager
- 5/5
Stay was great. Friendly staff excellent service. Definitely will stay again
- 4/5
Good stay clean.the AC was turn all way down didnt cool like should took few hrs
- 4/5
The only problem I had with this hotel was the parking. There is virtually no parking close to the lobby, and therefore a long walk is required to get to the front entrance. I actually had to park in the back of the hotel, since parking closer to the front door was full. The drive to the back parking lot was very confusing, requiring you to circle the side of the building and get onto another road going to the back entrance. I got totally lost and had to get an employee show me how to get there.
- 5/5
Quiet and comfortable
- 4/5
Room was ok. The only thing is it was a bit dark in the room i would book this place again
- 3/5
Not what we hoped for but not the worst we've ever stayed in.
- 3/5
The hotel room was nice just needs so many updates to it. When you take a shower make sure you dont flood the bathroom the shower curtain doesnt work good at all. The soap dispenser act like they were empty but you can see that they are full. The frist day when housekeeping came to the room they didnt replace the towels that we used. Tv remote didnt work that great with the TV. The breakfast was ok not your typical breakfast you would get for free with your stay. They had biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, donuts, fruit and orange juice. Wish they had bagels or even yogurt. I thought we were getting like a ticket to go eat at the buffet not have food brought over from them. Other than that it was a nice affordable stay.
- 4/5
I gave four stars due to the a/c high pitched squeal. And the bed being too hard. Room needs updated.
- 3/5
I would say to make sure you bring your own soap and shampoo. The room dispensers did not work.
- 2/5
Overall would absolutely not stay here again, based on the value and other hotels in the area. It looks really great from the outside but once you get in is a completely different story. The only good thing about the property is the pool area. The pool is extremely warm and is pretty large with a water slide and smaller kiddie area also. The “breakfast buffet” is an absolute joke. It is catered by the buffet that is attached to the front of the hotel and I can definitely tell you I would not pay to eat there. Photos will be attached with what was presented. The rooms are definitely outdated but they aren’t horrendous (minus the bug in the bathroom) the balcony is big and has a great view if you have a mountain side. Lastly it also seems that the hotel has converted some of their rooms into condos as at the check in desk it says Spirit Smokies Condo Lodge instead of Grand Smokies Lodge.
- 5/5
Clean room ,great pool and a good breakfast
- 3/5
The so called breakfast buffet biscuits, gravy, sausage patties and eggs and all was cold except gravy. The outlets in the room was hard to get phone chargers to stay plugged in. Not enough outlets and hard to access the few in there. Called to get someone fo come show us how to get to local channels on TV and nobody showed up. It was very disappointing and not sure we will go back.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, great pool area
- 5/5
We had a great stay as always. This was our third year staying at the Grand Smoky
- 5/5
Great place to stay!! The breakfast was a little lacking, but the rest of the stay was amazing! Clean rooms and amazing pool!
- 5/5
Was peaceful and quiet loved our kitchenette room.
- 3/5
Have always been interested in staying at this hotel. Well, we have tried it and won't be back. The lady at the front desk is very short with you when you request assistance. Our TV didn't work (thankfully we weren't in the room long enough to need the noise, but it would have been nice to have). Couldn't use the phone to let front desk know. When dialing for the front desk it would ring and then disconnect. When we let the front desk know they're behavior was very flippant. The internet was a hit and miss as well. The bed was nice. The pool was heated just like they advertise. The breakfast was good.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint was concerning the WiFi…during my entire 5 day stay the signal was so weak I had to use my hotspot on my phone.to access the internet on my laptop.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, pool was warm and great for a swim after a busy day.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
great location, clean and well maimtained
- 5/5
Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were a bit dated but very good for the value.
- 3/5
We’ve stayed here approximately 5 times and we have always enjoyed the breakfast at the wood grill buffet. They have done away with that now and are doing a very small breakfast in the lobby. Very disappointed as this was a huge perk to stay here. Huge perk and now we don’t know if we will come back because the breakfast was a huge reason we stayed here. Very disappointed this time.

.
- 5/5
Great place to stay adjacent to back roads to beat Rod run traffic
- 1/5
1 - Pet policy communicated at check-in was stricter than on hotels.com 2 - Crawling insects in bathroom 3- No breakfast buffet at an adjacent restaurant as communicated by e-mail 4 - No restaurant on site as listed on hotels.com 5 - Not in a national park as listed on hotels.com, park entry is 15 miles away
- 4/5
Great value and location. Needs updating with some sound proofing.
- 5/5
The room was so great. Better than I expected.
- 3/5
A little out dated but, very clean. Only complaint I would have was the TV reception.
- 4/5
Bed was a full not a queen and are door was left open after cleaning.
- 5/5
Clean, spacious room. Loved the jacuzzi tub! Real delight was the water slide and heated pool!!
- 4/5
Everything was in good working condition
- 5/5
The kitchenette was a nice surprise. The pool area was wonderful- the temperature was perfect! They also gave a discount coupon for the neighboring buffet; it was great! Will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The heated pool and slide was perfect! My daughter didn’t want to leave the hotel
- 3/5
I was not impressed with this lodge. When connected to wifi our phones and ipads still would not work.
- 5/5
This hotel was AMAZING! The pool area was so warm; like bath water. The shower was really nice too; plenty of hot water. The kitchenette was a nice surprise. we used it to make salads each night so not sure about the stove, etc. It was close to everything in PF, Gatlinburg, & Sevierville. We will gladly stay here again!
- 3/5
It was clean and kids enjoyed the pool. The beds definitely need to be updated. No sleep for me.
- 4/5
Didn't see a hot tub , there was a spa or jacuzzi tub in the room but no hot tub
- 3/5
The hotel was really outdated beds had springs I could feel with my back when laying down, but you get what you pay for .
- 3/5
Room is outdated but okay. Shower pressure is good and super hot. The pool is great and heated. The arcade area is totally out of order, took our tokens and overall frustrating. Nothing worked. The buffet is outdated and dingy, wouldn’t eat there. Otherwise it was close to everything and the beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Was a great place to stay only downfall is no breakfast
- 3/5
I stayed here a couple of years ago, enjoyed it, and looked forward to coming back when they were done with renovations. However, the property seems to have gone downhill considerably. For example, our shower had a large broken piece of tile that was pretty obvious. It didn't affect taking a shower, but it did make the room feel as if maintenance had been ignored. There were other examples: graffiti/scratches on the elevator door, broken game room equipment, loose outlets. Also, one day room service only made one of the two beds. Very odd. Regardless, the pool area was lots of fun and the lobby area was nice. My kids loved it, but probably didnt notice most of the subpar elements.
- 4/5
This property when it first opened in the 70s I believe it was an amazing place to stay. This property is extremely clean the beds are comfortable the pillows are comfortable and it is close to. It is 14 minutes away from Dollywood 7 minutes away from most museums and coasters in Pigeon Forge. Tons of activities and fun things to do for both children and adults. The Outback Steakhouse was outstanding and I am not usually a fan of the Outback Steakhouse. The staff was wonderful. My only complaint about the this place is that it is a little outdated. If you have a family and you're traveling on a budget and you can't afford to eat all three meals out this is the perfect place for you. It is completely loaded with pots pans silverware refrigerator microwave two stove burner toaster and a kitchen nook to eat at. I will definitely be returning.
- 5/5
Booked the family suite this year and it was HUGE absolutely recommend for families with lots of kids.
- 5/5
Loved warmer pool
- 5/5
Hotel is nice, teens loved the pool area, it was a little noisy but okay we stayed while on spring break so it was understandable. The WiFi was terrible our tv could not play anything because WiFi was terrible besides that our stay was nice
- 4/5
Yes
- 3/5
.Wasn't the cleaness and I don't think they changed the bed sheets on at least one of the beds from the previous people who tayed in that room.. The sheets had a stain on it with crust on it. Furinture was old and tv small, but the kids didn't seem to mind it and loved the slide in the pool.
- 2/5
no breakfast did not tell me until i arrved never never stay their again
- 4/5
Room ok jacuzzi water handle came off had to call maintenance they fixed it right away all staff nice
- 3/5
The pool for the kids was the best part. The room and cleanliness is very average.
- 4/5
The pool was great. Fridge in the room was a plus.
- 5/5
Clean room. Nice pool. Nice staff.
- 4/5
Staff isn't friendly. Room was great with us. Amenities advertised but wasn't there : outdoor pool and hot tub. The indoor pool was very warm which was really nice.
- 4/5
Everything was good except 3$ for a can drink. Thanks
- 3/5
No hot tub
- 5/5
Planned a last minute trip this hotel didn't disappoint. Room was spacious full kitchen and very clean. Pool was a huge hit with kids was nice and warm. Arcade was mostly claw machine games could've been better and coffee bar wasn't much. You do get half price bigger tickets for two adults on weekends which was nice. Staff was great!! Will definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Overall it was a quality stay. Convenient to everything. Easy to get to. Pool was warm.
- 1/5
Our television didn't work properly ... had maintenance to come and fix it, it worked temporarily, and ended up not working again. The pool area, disgusting! utterly disgusting! A kid threw up, someone cleaned the area with a water bucket, swept it up, and there was no sign put up for it. We saw the whole thing ... disgusting. Safe to say, we exited the pool area and never came back. Lastly, the noises on fifth floor, doors slamming, people screaming, and etc. We hardly slept ... We will NEVER go back to this place and wouldn't recommend it for anyone that wants some peace, relaxation, and good time for self or the family. HUGELY DISAPPOINTING since this was our first time in Pigeon Forge.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
We stay in the family suite with the double bunkbeds. It was actually like three rooms put together very cool really Location perfect Pool was great We had 2yr old twins , an 8 yr old and a 14 yr old Arcade games didn't work so great tho Not your newest hotel but

- 5/5
Will book again
- 5/5
Will book again.
- 1/5
Stayed here alot over the years. Kids and i really love the place and staff. Last night of our stay, someone tried breaking into our room at 230 in morning. Quick action and i had placed a chair, in front of side access doors, saved us. Called front desk and reported it. Was alarmed to see video cameras were all aimed at the ceiling. Really wandering if it wasn't someone working there to have done that plus have access to the adjoining room. Didnt seem like anything was done about it.
- 3/5
Overall, the hotel was decent, check-in took entirely too long. They did not have enough staff to handle everyone checking in on Friday night.
- 5/5
The staff was sooooooo amazing! Made us feel like family! My children loved the arcade and the pool the most! Stayed 4.5 hours in the pool alone! 😂😂😂 It doesn’t hurt that it’s on the lot of a fine all you can eat restaurant!!! Overall, we will DEFINITELY be back, and we’re telling friends as well!!!!

One of the pool tables did not work and the other was missing the que ball. Literally half of the game room games just take your tokens. They charge extra for the mountain view but all the rooms have mountain veiws? You'll be in for a lengthy wait at the elevators as well.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Room is ok. The shower wall on both side is busted from both sides making the shower rod hang in the middle and the curtain falls to the middle never closed. The soap dispenser just come off at the kitchen sink. Couch in the room and outside the room is broken. Friendly staff, just needs updating.
- 5/5
As usual, Pigeon Forge was absolutely a blast. One of our favorite places to go.
- 5/5
Always a great stay with this hotel
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff
- 5/5
Was very laid back and comforting.
- 5/5
Clean room, amazing knowledgeable staff. Nice heated pool. Even when crowded we still have an amazing experience as there is plenty of room. I’ve stayed here over a dozen times or more and will continue. Jet tub is a nice add on. Great location. Just wish they offered something for repeat customers. Great price overall every time.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Rooms was clean. Smelled good the kids LOVED the slide at the pool.. i liked that it was a heated pool... the shower NEVER got cold deep tub. We will definitely come back
- 5/5
Everything was great in our room in the people was real nice
- 5/5
Staff here are awesome and the room was super clean!
- 5/5
Clean room, neat and tidy. Bed was extra comfy! Our room was a little noisy just due to being next to the elevator with all the activity, other than that great place to stay for a weekend getaway.
- 4/5
The kids really enjoyed the pool!
- 4/5
Clean room, and friendly staff
- 5/5
Great room, Jacuzzi tub was excellent
- 3/5
The handle in the kitchen area broke and the tv remote stopped working. The TV is really small. The lights in the pool area were not working
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
Shower wouldn’t drain Had no extra pillows available
- 2/5
When we first got there we found a roach in the bathroom. We changed rooms which was better.
- 5/5
Great pool and water slide
- 5/5
Room was wonderful! Hotel was clean. The breakfast buffet next door was very good!
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff at check in!
- 5/5
Love it!!!
- 5/5
This was a great stay
- 3/5
TV didn’t half work. Furniture was broken or almost and shower half worked, had to get cleaning crew to get it to work. All lights only had 1 bulb in it. It was clean
- 5/5
Need clothes dryer in rooms for wet clothes from swimming.
- 5/5
Very nice room
- 3/5
The bed in room 5014 was very uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Overall it was okay but the bed and room were not as expected. The bed was very hard and thin. It is outdated with limited room. My family bumped into one another moving from bathroom to room, toilet seat was wobbly and shower took 5 to 10 minutes to warm up. Trip was great but we didnt enjoy the bed and room.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, great staff. Only draw back was the soap dispenser in the shower did not work.
- 5/5
Amazing week thank you for everything
- 1/5
I had no idea we were given a room that was for people who brought pets. We did not have a pet with us. The first night a dog in the next room barked for several hours. Upon returning home there was a charge manually entered on our credit card that was not authorized by us. I called and they had two other people associated with our account that we did NOT know. My family traveled by ourselves. A week later and I’m still having to call and try to get this resolved. It is still not resolved as of today.
- 5/5
Yes love it
- 4/5
In-room hot tub was nice.
- 1/5
Room was old the hotel let kids run around all night . The Marijuana smoke was everywhere in including the halls . I was told they couldn't do anything about our issues. We will never stay there again
- 4/5
Yes spotless and very nice
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Love this hotel
- 5/5
Not enough towels at the pool
- 4/5
One of the front desk staff was not very friendly, and we could hear a lot of noise from our room of other people in the hallways.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
The breakfast on the weekend not worth it. The room is a little a dated
- 2/5
Our room was not ready until 4:30. A dog in the pool area, young girl was bleeding in the pool and would not get out. Wasn’t a good experience this time
- 2/5
So much noise from the girls event that was there
- 1/5
Staff was very disrespectful and unhelpful with complaints her water running all night long guessing room next-door, extremely loud all night, long and all day long very outdated guest manager was rude when I made a complaint about the issues that I was having didn’t offer no compensation or no results told me it’s a family hotel, What do you want us to do about it.
- 4/5
The rooms were pretty decent. And the kids love the pool area. Really enjoyed the pool actually being heated.
- 3/5
Room was very clean, but facility is very old.
- 2/5
Mold in the coffee maker in the room, no coffee downstairs, pool was murky and unclean, mold in the bathroom around the tub and shower curtain, refrigerator was broken and leaking. It seemed one thing after another it was highly disappointing.
- 3/5
There kids running up and down the hallways all hrs of the night people next door playing music and talking super loud
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was nice.
- 1/5
Room wasnt ready till 6pm. View was completly obstructed but wouldnt let us move the second night.
- 3/5
The rooms are adjoining so you hear everything from the rooms next to you on either side plus the hallway! The room was older but clean, reminded me of a motel 6 that was in good condition. Once off the elevator the smell of marijuana was strong (disgusting). For a family hotel, it was disappointing. Our stay was fine, but we will not stay there again.
- 2/5
The hotel furnishings were out of date and worn..The beds were extremely uncomfortable on metal frames which were noisy because of the squeaking. The bathroom light and fan were not covered leaving exposed wires etc.
- 1/5
I was told the room was good for 3 people. Nope that wasn’t the case. We asked for an extra pillow for my daughter. We were told if they had any they would bring one up. That never happened. The tube had mold in it also. The mattress for the queen bed was junk.
- 4/5
Room was great, clean, staff was very helpful. Amenities seemed great except the tv its very small and only has cable tv. Upgrade the tv and it’s 5 stars. Great environment.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. Bed somewhat comfortable. TV service was TERRIBLE. We were only able to get 4 channels that came in. Now there were sports channels that came in.
- 4/5
The bathtubs need to be remodeled. There was staining in the bottom of the tub and we had to contact front desk on how to get the shower on.
- 3/5
This hotel needs a face lift.
- 5/5
Walking distance to several food options, shopping and activites. Kitchen was equipped to prepare simple meals. Full size refrigerator.
- 2/5
This was not the best hotel. The rooms look out dated and a little grungy. I checked out at 4:30 am and then go a message at 3pm asking if I needed to extend my stay. The tv continued to attempt to load due to poor signal so couldn’t watch tv and I called and asks for more pillows and blankets and they said sure, but never came with them so I slept uncomfortable all night. Not to mention the slide does NOT look stable. I watched a a kid almost fly off of it.
- 4/5
Great staff and large room.
- 5/5
In room jacuzzi suite, heated indoor pool with a water slide for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for only $159!!!
- 3/5
The kitchen and pool are the best amenities here. Breakfast is only served Sat and Sun now. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. I barely slept at all.
- 2/5
The pool made my son break out… and the chlorine was terrible the smell made my eyes and nose burn and gave me horrible headache.
- 5/5
Room was excellent!!! Would definitely recommend and return to stay again!
- 5/5
Great stay. Very clean and very nice pool area. Close to hospital. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
This was a great place to stay during the winter! The indoor heated pool is one of the warmest pools we’ve ever swam in. The hotel was clean and the service was friendly. There’s a cute little arcade for kids to play games too. You can walk to Cracker Barrel and many other restaurants.
- 5/5
Dunno about "spotless", but the room was quite clean and usually quiet. The hotel was perfectly located for our needs. Our first couple of nights were quiet, then our neighbors arrive: loud children slamming doors, a baby crying, a couple of small "yappy" dogs. That's not the fault of the hotel, but some guests seem unconcerned with other guests.
- 5/5
The stay was excellent
- 5/5
Staff were decent , room was clean. Breakfast at Wood Grill was good. W
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Nice clean rooms!
- 3/5
The beds , the frames were squeaky and so loud my wife couldn’t sleep. They didn’t have box frames but were laid on a metal folding table that was unbelievably loud. We stayed 2 days but will not stay again. We looked as we were going in and out when the maids were cleaning. All them were the same .
- 5/5
It was perfect for kids expected room to be nicer.
- 2/5
The sheets were not clean and the noise was terribly loud when someone ran water. The first night woke us up at 3 am. I would not stay here again
- 3/5
There were a couple of downsides worth mentioning. The pet policy was a bit inconvenient for me, since you aren’t allowed to leave pets alone in the room at any time. This made it difficult to go out for a bit without bringing my pet along. Also, breakfast isn’t included—rather, you just get a discount at a nearby restaurant. It would’ve been much more convenient to have breakfast onsite or included with the stay. Still, I had a good time overall and appreciated the amenities and customer service. With a few tweaks, this could easily be a five-star stay. I would consider coming back again.
- 1/5
Pet disclosure incorrect. Charged extra $40 and $200 deposit. Site shows couch in room they ssid havent had couch i. 2 years, Couldn't even get that and changed our room completely. No where for my daughter to sleep so charged $15 for a bed thats dirty and now they said they are looking for a clean one. Complete hassles. So much for a relaxing get away.
- 3/5
This establishment needs some major upgrades
- 2/5
Just spend a little more for somewhere nicer this whole property looks like it was nice about 25 years ago. Carpets stained, the old man at the front desk made me wait 10 minutes just to hand me a voucher to be able to eat breakfast at their run down restaurant which you still have to buy a drink and are expected to tip. The transvestite at the desk checking in wasn't very friendly overall weird atmosphere.
- 1/5
The rooms were clean but are in need of new decoration and renovation. The rooms were so noisy at night. There’s no hydraulics on the doors so they just slam. The walls are so thin so you can hear your neighbors talking and banging on everything.
- 1/5
Bugs
- 1/5
The neighbors were very loud and vulgar. We complained twice as our kids was hearing what was being said. We ended up checking out without a refund because they get three chances to be quiet.
- 5/5
Yes it was very clean and nice
- 5/5
Loved our 2nd stay here we will be back
- 5/5
The pictures match!
- 2/5
First room had roaches crawling up the wall behind the microwave. Staff moved us to another room. Every day we had to go back to the front desk to get our key reprogrammed because we couldn't get into our room. Bathtub had stains in it and wife would not bath because of the looks of the tub. Carpet was heavily stained in the first room we had. There are multiple fire exits blocked with furniture throughout the building and the building smells musty.
- 5/5
Easy checkin and great location!
- 3/5
The room needed more lighting. It was too dark. Offer a continental breakfast during the week.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
First time booking with expedia and i can say so far i love it.thank you!
- 1/5
Had roaches in my room have a video of it. Went told the front service desk and THOMAS the manager is a prick! But wouldn’t give me my money back. Will not ever stay there again. So the fact he wouldn’t give me my money back made us have to come home after a 3 hour drive to get there. Will never go back and will make sure everyone I know spends the word.
- 3/5
We pulled up and I a guy outside told us they had roaches, front desk said they guy was mad he couldn’t bring his dog. The bed is on some weird metal so every time you moved it made the loudest sound. They disabled our key an hour early from check out. And employee came right into our room and said first desk said we were checked out. Very rushy
- 5/5
Room was great! Breakfast was ok. Indoor pool was fantastic.
- 5/5
The people who worked there are so nice and the hotel is in a great location.
- 2/5
Room smelled just like urine! I had to take the bread spreads off bed and put outside on the porch and the curtain covering the door smelled so bad also. Room was too expensive to have to open both doors and let it air out. Just disappointed!
- 4/5
Staff was great. Bathroom needs updated
- 5/5
Its as always a very clean and friendly place to stay while in the smokies that affordable.
- 5/5
Room was great, so clean and spacious! Friendly staff as well. We left something behind and they were quick to call and let us know. We will be back again soon!
- 5/5
Nice place, pool was clean and warm
- 1/5
No hot water and the bed was very uncomfortable. Very disappointing stay.
- 5/5
It’s a nice place to stay. They gave 2 free vouchers for a breakfast buffet next door. The pool was open til 1am. Clean lobby, parking lot, and pool area. The only issue I seen was the shower curtain had some mold on it and the water pressure for a shower was low.
- 3/5
WE STAYED HERE OVER FALL BREAK. THE LADY THAT CHECKED US IN WAS VERY NICE. SOME OF THE OTHER STAFF SEEMED COLD WHEN YOU ASKED QUESTIONS. ONCE WE GOT TO OUR ROOM WE DISCOVERED THAT OUR BALCONY LOOKED OUT AT THE BACK OF A BUILDING THAT LOOKED TO BE ADDED ON. OUR FRIDGE ROCKED AND THE TV WASN'T THE GREATEST. THEY SENT SOMEONE UP TO FIX THE FRIDGE AND ALL THEY DID WAS STICK A WEDGE UNDER IT TO KEEP IT STEADY. THE BEDS WERE EXTREMELY HARD AND MY BACK HURT MOST OF THE TRIP. THERE IS BREAKFAST BUT IT IS ONLY ON SAT AND SUN AND FOR 2 ADULTS ONLY YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY HALF PRICE FOR ADDITIONAL GUEST AND FOR YOUR DRINKS. IT IS AN OLDER PROPERTY AND STILL LOOKS VERY DATED BUT OUR ROOM WAS CLEAN. MY SON LOVED THE POOL AND ARCADE, MOST OF THE GAMES ARE $1 EACH. IT WAS OK BUT COULD USE SOME UPDATES.
- 3/5
Room was clean except the bathroom it had hair around the tub and behind the door but otherwise not terrible
- 4/5
We stay here often when we come to the Smokies It has decent access to get out on the main street. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. We have not used the pool but it is always a hit for the children. They also have a nice little game room as well as a place to sit down in the lobby if you are staying with a group and need to meet
- 5/5
Nice room, great location, nice to have a real breakfast!
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent, rooms were clean, and amenities were great!
- 5/5
Room was comfortable, good location
- 4/5
Parking lot was safe. The bed in our room was terrible!! Neither of us could rest at all. The bed was to hard.
- 1/5
Worst night of sleep ever! People in room next door were incredibly loud from 2am onward. Poor insulation (sound-proofing) between rooms. Deadbolts on patio and room door don’t engage to secure doors. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast at location across parking lot & not available until 8am.
- 1/5
Room was supposed to have a working fire place, it did not. The refrigerator, only the freezer part worked. The bed had a old mattress which was very uncomfortable. We stay in a room with a kitchen, 1 coffee cup, 1 glass, 2 spoons, 1 fork. Had to end up eating out because the refrigerator did not work. Add say breakfast served, but in fact only on weekends. The description of the room did not prove to be honest. I DO NOT recommend that anyone stay here. Certainly not worth the money
- 4/5
I loved getting free breakfast from wood dire grill! Pool was great and room was clean. We enjoyed our stay there.
- 5/5
Clean room, air conditioning works, easy parking, staff was friendly and enjoyed the buffet for breakfast that was included with our stay.
- 4/5
Nice property and close to everything (shopping, dining). My only complaint is the room smelled really musty and moldy and it seemed to come from the room AC unit. We had to open the deck door to air it out.
- 5/5
Nuce
- 5/5
We had a great time and the pool was amazing!
- 5/5
The area and stay was amazing.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, front desk was helpful and friendly would stay again.
- 5/5
Location was/is fantastic for all that we did. Quiet and clean, with a pool that was great. We would recommend and did to our family for future visits.
- 3/5
Pool was the highlight, but most of the arcade games weren't working.
- 4/5
This hotel is central to everything. Sunliner Diner is across the street. Easy to get to and lots of parking. The room had a kitchenette. Clean room but well used. Its not fancy but its nice for anyone including families. Enjoyed the pool in late afternoon, less crowded. The hotel has a restaurant close by and we ate a good breakfast there. The staff were great!
- 1/5
Very disappointing. Not as described on the site. Expected a nice experience, not at all what we expected. Two trips in one to this “lodge” first and last.
- 5/5
It was all great! Our favorite part was the free breakfast over at the restaurant! Thanks for a great weekend!!
- 5/5
I wish you had tge buffet next door. You did last time we were there, but not this time. That is a big reason we stay.
- 5/5
We had an extended weekend getaway and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was clean, quiet and close to everything and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was offered free of charge at the WoodGrill Restaurant was excellent. We will definitely be staying again.
- 5/5
The property was great. The beds were soft, the breakfast was good and the pool was nice!
- 1/5
After being ignored by her, we checked out and found another hotel.
- 5/5
Clean room, nice hotel. Will stay again in the future.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Amazing
- 3/5
Yes
- 3/5
Parking was ok. Ac wasn't the greatest. No soda in any machines on any floor. Coffee was cold every morning
- 5/5
Great location, clean room, welcoming environment, kid friendly. Needs minor upgrades (bathroom vent/light needs replacing)
- 3/5
Room was out dated. TV was was small and very old. Would be a lot better with a smart tv. Room was clean though. Great price and close to everything. Overall a great room for the price. Would stay again. Pool is great for kids. Stays open till 1 am. It was very quiet! 4 stars overall
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Accidentally left a bag in the room and the hotel promptly reached out to let us know and told us how to have it returned. The hotel still needs more updating
- 4/5
Didn't use pool..A/C. Worked great..room was clean..fresh towels in bathroom each day
- 4/5
The parking lot is drawn off very strange and is somewhat inconvenient. The room was clean, but very dated. I could tell that some changes had been made, but it time for the carpet to go away. The staff that we encountered were very nice.
- 3/5
I've stayed here about 5 times. 1st time was great with a remodeled room. 2-4 trips were ok with the room not as nice. 5th time here we learned they no longer offered breakfast, although it was still mentioned in the ad. The bed was completely wore out with a dip on 1 side. Very uncomfortable. The neighboring room, we could hear them talk right through tge joining door. I had to ask them to quite down even though they were not trying to be loud. Without the breakfast buffet, this place is average. The pool is nice and the kitchenette is nice too but i was expecting breakfast vouchers for the buffet.
- 3/5
The staff did a good job and the pool was amazing for my grandson. My room was not, the door handle on the closet was falling off, the toilet seat was loose and the view from the room / balcony was terrible. For the money I spent I was very disappointed. If it was not for the pool I would have been very upset. In addition the game room was less than enjoyable. the games were as my 7 year old grandson said, rigged.
- 5/5
Had to park in the back which was a.little scary at night. But overall the stay was great.
- 4/5
Good area
- 1/5
Entire place was just gross! Staff at front desk not friendly or helpful! Pool was slimy and greenish!
- 3/5
Carpet stains said it has hot tub and doesn’t room said sleeps 3-4 and barely sleeps 2
- 5/5
Room was nice
- 3/5
Great location! Close to everything! Rooms are kinda outdated but clean and I was disappointed that the fireplace was only for show and does not radiate any real Heat. I like that it's really close to everything and they do offer you a free breakfast voucher right across the street but I would prefer it to be inside the actual Resort
- 3/5
The hotel was nice, we loved the heated pool and the slide. Our room could have been better, the shower needed attention, toilet seat was chipped and rough, and the bed was not very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was nice though. Overall we enjoyed our stay but some areas definitely need a little attention.
- 2/5
Needs updating, had a bad smell in hallways and one of the reasons I chose this hotel was the continental breakfast since I have 3 kids but when I checked in I was informed they have started having that only on Saturday and Sunday.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome! We had a bunch of stink bugs got in the room and the maintenance guy came straight to the room and got rid of them. Toilet stopped up and again straight up to fix it. They were so sweet and helpful! Thank you so much for just the great hospitality and the extremely clean rooms. We so enjoyed our stay and the pool was great!!!
- 5/5
The room was older with the carpet needing to be replaced and the sofa cleaned. Some lights didnt work. May be one of the rooms not updated yet. Bed was comfortable with nice soft sheets. The pool area is awesome but needs to be cleaned. Has a green hue and the walls are dirty. Staff very friendly and great location. Buffet vouchers was a nice suprise. Would give them a second try, did book super late on a busy weekend where much wasnt available.
- 3/5
The hotel was fine for one night. It was run down and not updated in the room. The microwave was cracked and the air vent grill in the room was cracked and dirty. The carpet was dirty. The room was quiet and clean. The parking was easy but a fairly good walk to the entrance.
- 1/5
Never again. I paid for a queen room with an in-room fireplace. The bed was a full and the fireplace didn't work. The front desk told me "we said a queen room, not a queen bed." The A/C in the room was off when we arrived and the room was 85 degrees. The free breakfast is a voucher for a buffet across the parking lot, which is fine (although drinks are not included). Come morning, the front desk attendant said he couldn't give the vouchers out until 8:00AM, then when I came back he was exceedingly rude about giving them to me at all because it was 7:59AM. The hotel claims to be pet friendly, but a couple I spoke with at breakfast told me that front desk told them they were not allowed to have their dogs in the room at all, ever, without them being in the room; even in a crate. So they had to leave their dogs (for whom they had paid an extra $40 per dog per night) in their car and leave it running during breakfast. When I left the buffet, I saw the dogs alone in the truck and my heart broke. This place is trash.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Beautiful and wonderful place and great staff. Perfect location. Will recommend and be returning.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, courteous staff.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our visit. The staff was friendly. The building is older but clean. The game room was mostly claw-machine games with a few driving/shooting games & a couple pool tables. The bed frames are metal and sqeaked alot (especially loud at night). The location is great as we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and attractions.
- 4/5
Ok
- 4/5
An older facility but was very convenient to the convention center.
- 2/5
Didn’t stay in this hotel due to cleanliness so take with a grain of salt, perhaps it was an off day. Receptionist was friendly although they didn’t find me in the system at first and almost had me switch rooms. The room once I got it, was definitely old school which was expected however super filthy. There were over 6 stink bugs in the room and few dead flies on the floors. That alone caused me to request a refund and find another place. It seems the balcony door is not well sealed and due to the cold temp, bugs were coming in.
- 5/5
I love this hotel! The only issue we had was the noise coming from other rooms… faucets running, AC noises, people talking… I’m not sure anything can be done about that but otherwise we loved the hotel and will be back! Might bring ear plugs though. :) the place was really clean and we felt safe! That’s really all I can ask for!
- 5/5
We did not visit the pool, so I cannot review it, though it did seem popular during our stay. Wood Fire Grill is located across the parking lot and weekend breakfast is included with your stay (you have to pay for drinks and of course tax. My wife and I had a soda apiece and paid roughly $9, which was a bargain for the amount and quality of the food. We will definitely stay again
- 4/5
8 AM.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The amenities were nice. We really enjoyed the pool and the buffet. The only suggestion would be to put usb ports in the rooms. Most hotels have them now so I didn’t bring a charging block for my phone.
- 5/5
Loved this place! Clean, comfy and friendly people !
- 4/5
Informed management about jacuzzi problem but would of been better if they would of checked before my stay.
- 5/5
The room was nice and it was very family friendly
- 4/5
The room was clean, but we did find a few things from the previous guests, like a Pokemon card and a sticker, and a straw wrapper near the sofa bed. But, the one thing that did bother us, was the fact the shower's curtain rack was loose, and it caused the curtain to keep rolling back, allowing water to leak outside the bathtub and onto the floor. There is corrosion at the door frame, due to the moisture of previous leaks, which means it's been like that for a while. But, overall it was good. My husband hated the bed, but I liked it. I prefer harder mattresses than he does though.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Great location and in walkable distance to many attractions. We will stay here again in the future.
- 5/5
I found the room to be very clean
- 5/5
Our favourite spot in town could’ve been cleaner, staff were somewhat friendly nice stay overall.
- 5/5
This is our favorite place to stay
- 4/5
Centralized location. Ease of access to anything you want to do. Breakfast buffet at restaurant is always great. (The main reason I stay). My only complaint is the walls are a little thin and you can hear kids causing a ruckus at times. YMMV
- 2/5
Didn’t stay night left at 10:30 at night. Dated, dark, pet smells, and breakfast only Saturday and Sunday. Took a while for desk clerk to show up at check in. Everything seemed “off”.
- 1/5
Extremely rude, and refused to help solve our issue
- 3/5
The hotel is in the middle of the city so you have easy access to most of the attractions. The room was dirty and there was a dead roach in the dresser. The bed was also very uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Clean room Friendly staff and close to everything.
- 5/5
Always great!
- 5/5
Have stayed here for years and its always been well worth the money. The new family suit was amazing!!
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and passed the white glove test. Didnt really require a lysol wipe/spray wipedown unless one feels absolutely necessary. Only downfall is that the rooms where outdated but not terrible. The mountain/cabin decor (curtain, comforter, mattress etc) concept is great and all but it can be modern yet still not take away from the theme. Hotel is in close proximity to eveything, walking would not be an issue to your stay. Would not mind staying again.
- 5/5
We loved our stay! Next time we want a room with a balcony!
- 4/5
The rooms are very dated. The beds are pretty firm. Outside the motel is extremely dirty. No soda in the concession area in the lobby. Very upsetting.
- 4/5
Full kitchen and large room
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! The pool is great room is nice
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
The hotel room was clean and we loved that it included a small kitchenette. The fireplace in the room doesn’t heat and was only for looks. The indoor pool is very nice and they even have a small game room with pool tables. The staff is friendly and we received vouchers to use at the restaurant next door for breakfast. We would definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel and all the staff was wonderful. Our room was clean and had a fantastic kitchen with lots of space. The only problem we had was being on the end near the main parkway because of the disrespectful people with motorcycles and cars reving the engines all night long. Other than that it was perfect. Obviously that's not the hotels fault. This was our 2nd time staying here and will definitely be back. Thank you!
- 4/5
The staff was great, with the exception of the older gentleman that works overnight. He was a bit disgruntled at times. The pool being opened til 1am was a plus. I would stay again when in the area. However, do not I repeat do not eat at the Wood Grill Buffet unless you want food poisoning. I wish I would have checked their reviews before spending $60+ on a buffet we didn’t eat and wasn’t able to get refund.
- 4/5
The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, and the jacuzzi tub was a lot of fun to use. Their was a nice view from the balcony. The pool was mostly crowded with kids, as to be expected, but during the middle of the day, while everyone else was out doing other things, my husband and I had it all to ourselves and the slide was a blast. You'd think the breakfast would be good, since it was in the restaurant that shares the parking lot, but it was no better than your average hotel mediocre breakfast with runny eggs fatty bacon, and processed foods. They did at least have fresh berries. It wasn't available the second morning we were there, but we weren't going to eat it anyways, so that was just fine.
- 5/5
It was great. Clean. They gave you vouchers for breakfast at the Wood grill for buffet on Saturday and Sunday.
- 5/5
Pool with slide was awesome! Room was great with full kitchen! We enjoyed it very much and will be back
- 3/5
Although rags were clean, they were dingy looking. The soap dispenser in shower didn't work. Below our balcony was a least desirable view. Between the buildings were old rotten bails of a hay scattered and trashy. Elevators were nasty.
- 5/5
Pool needs to have a person to keep watch people doing dirty things in water with family all around them
- 2/5
Very basic no thrills
- 4/5
Nice for the price
- 4/5
We stayed for a night after visiting Dollywood. The staff we interacted with were friendly, the room seemed clean, the air conditioner worked well & wasn’t noisy like others suggested, it is a little outdated and could use some repairs but overall it was a pleasant stay. We didn’t opt in for breakfast, but the restaurant seems fine. Whatever they had for dinner smelled good. Gorilla Taco behind the hotel was delicious
- 5/5
An older property with lots of updates, very modern, and very clean !
- 5/5
Its an older motel, buffet was horrible and not free
- 2/5
First off, RUDE staff except the Haitian girl- who was very kind. This includes the night staff and the elderly lady the next morning. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! No safety lock at top of door. Room had an odor that my dog rolled in and stunk. Only served artery clogging powder coffee mate down stairs in lobby, no liquid creamer. Had to ask for the breakfast voucher from the RUDE lobby desk which was served in the restaurant next door. Breakfast was good, except you had to pay for any kind of drink and tip, which was not included. Overall experience-POOR AND WE WILL NOT STAY THERE EVER AGAIN!!!
- 4/5
The floors in our room were really dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Property was a good price for the area and the balcony was nice, however you do get what you pay for. The beds have metal frames that make a loud sound when you sit or get up from the side of the bed, and they were very firm. The microwave and fridge were rusted and broken inside. The rest of the room was clean.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Staff are so nice and helps with any needs qiuckly.
- 3/5
We had to walk a ways from our room to our truck. The pool room was way to hot. The pool water was also very hot. The cost was not a good deal for the quality.
- 1/5
Couldn't lock my door had stay on one side of room my 3 year old boy wandered out in hallway Couldn't sleep cause door wouldn't lock
- 5/5
We loved everything about our stay. The only thing I would suggest is the air conditioner didn't get real cold at 65 degrees. Also the morning we were checking out they knocked on our door 3 times to see if we were in there. This was an hour and a half before checkout time. Other than that, we will stay there again.
- 1/5
Was called day of arrival and told that power outage was scheduled for last night stay. Did not happen.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay the only thing wrong they need to do something about yhe ants we had yo spray every day
- 5/5
Loved the quiet spot where the family suite was located, it was private and quiet
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clear. Everything you need is close by. Great place to take the kiddos. Arcade, water slide, kiddie pool. All covered. Just an overall great experience
- 5/5
We have two adult children and one minor. This was a last minute stay. The family suite was perfect for us. We were able to sit and eat dinner together, two bathrooms was nice for a quicker getting ready for the day, plenty of bed so our kids could have their own beds. The pool was warm and enjoyable. The big kids loved the slide.
- 3/5
Bed was so uncomfortable. I always sleep all night through but not here. Bed was rock hard, lumpy and very loud when you would move, roll over or sit. I was awake every hour of the night
- 4/5
We loved staying here and felt very comfortable arriving late at night. Clean property, excellent amenities. Helpful and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Good area
- 1/5
The front desk agent (a lady that had piercings dark longer hair) was incredibly rude and was very condescending when I would ask questions and had us wait 9 minutes after booking online to check in because we were trying to get a better rate. Bed comforter was gross had someone else’s hair and food on it when we arrived and the lobby bathroom had no toilet tissue I didn’t have any after using the restroom
- 1/5
Bed suck bugs in room need i say more never stay again
- 2/5
Loud at night inside motel until early morning hours was there a week out of week maybe one nights good sleep rugs are stained and dirty
- 5/5
Property had been updated. Probably should be more options for charging phones, iPads, etc.
- 5/5
Awesome pool. Jacuzzi in the room was quiet.
- 5/5
Close to lots of restaurants and activities. Kids loved the pool and room was nice and clean
- 2/5
Not the nicest of places I have stayed, the rooms were clean just dated and bathrooms need some work. The lady at the front desk the first morning wasn’t very nice. We were switching rooms I asked to keep wife’s laptop in a bag behind front desk and was told pretty rudely no. Only for the reason I didn’t wanted sitting in hot car when we were watching my sons baseball games. One night we got locked out of our room and keys wouldn’t work, had to eat dinner in hallway. One elevator was down for a few days of our stay.
- 5/5
It was a quite place to stay and convenient from where our friends were staying. It was clean.
- 4/5
I liked that the staff was helpful.
- 3/5
Very clean and in a nice location. Walls are paper thin though. There was a drunk couple outside in the hallway screaming for hours and could hear everything. The police had to be called to remove them. We could hear next door neighbors. Don’t recommend with small kids.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed our stay will be returning soon
- 3/5
They should have breakfast available starting at 7 am..Was unable to eat breakfast due to the time.
- 2/5
I just had reserve the room prior to arriving i hadnt read the policy about pets i have small pet wouldnt know she on the place they madw a big deal out of it she a service animal i still got charged a fee i the place but the two girls check me in need to be fired in my opinion the people check me out was really nice i told them i took pics of rhe room way them two girls check me act like i couldn't use the garabae can an the house keeper said the room was fine look great
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our night here! It's close to everything in Pigeon Forge. You can see the ferris wheel of The Island from your room, as well as the wax museum. The buffet that is included at Wood Grill was delicious and had a great variety. The pool is large and there is also a kiddie pool if you have little ones with you. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was perfect. There is also a game room and a little gift shop there. The workers were nice as well. We'd stay here again.
- 5/5
The family suites were perfect! We couldn't tell from the pictures that these were actually two separate rooms in one with a small entryway that connects them. It gave each family privacy but also kept us together which was important for us!
- 3/5
The hotel was overall nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kids loved the pool, but the big pool water was too warm and didn’t feel very clean. The small pool was cold. Also, the free breakfast is only for two people—kids 6 and up have to pay around $8 and you need to pay for any drinks. The bathroom vent fan above the toilet was very dusty and dust was falling down. Just a few things to improve.
- 5/5
Awesome place
- 5/5
The hotel and location were great. It was an unexpected surprise to have the breakfast buffet included!
- 3/5
This is only a so-so hotel. Nothing horrible but it needs lots of updating. The tv in our room very small & outdated. Only very basic cable, and we had to ask the front desk how to navigate the remote to change channels. The deal to have “free” breakfast next door? You pay them $3.70 each for a coffee & a juice/coke. But it’s “free.” Food was ok but atmosphere of both hotel and restaurant next door rather depressing. I saw no smiles on ANY employees whatsoever.
- 3/5
No hot water
- 1/5
This hotel was convenient but the smell is horrible. Pictures don’t match the pool on here with the slide. One morning before check out the receptionist called our room who knows why and scared myself and my family. Then after an employee who checks rooms knocked hard on our door making it seem we were lying that we were suppose to check out when it was only 10:00am and check out was at 12p. I did not appreciate that and we felt unsafe after. I will never come back here again. Employees never said sorry. I guess you get what you pay if it’s a Inn or lodge
- 5/5
Good room clean quiet. Great location
- 4/5
Great stay! Only issue we noticed was tub/shower drained very slow
- 1/5
Very loud you can hear traffic all night . Ppl slamming doors all night. They said they had blackout curtains they do not . No handicap parking what so ever in the front of the motel . 5118 was my room and the door wouldn’t lock . We had 2 microwaves
- 5/5
The indoor pool is fabulous. Open really late. Not even sure it closes. The hotel itself was pretty nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to hang out during the evenings when the sun goes down. Overall this was a very pleasant stay and I’ll definitely stay again in the future.
- 2/5
Bed had a bad popping sound. Soap dispenser does not work. Maintenance say nothing wrong. Room made up every day. Buffet breakfast not free. Charged for drinks. Buffet not very clean.food poor quality. One front desk lady not helpful. Bring own tea bags. Not resort quality. broken glass and furniture on back walkway.
- 2/5
Great disappointment the hotel was very nice until I got into the room a big hole cut into the bathroom ceiling water dripping everywhere call maintenance who never arrived go down to the desk for help and was told to put the trash can under the leak you couldn’t use the bathroom in peace for water dripping down on you for 2 days I tried speaking with a supervisor I was told she would be in soon each time I went down about 20 times until this day I still haven’t spoke with anybody I have already left I would like to be compassionate this wasn’t the best family vacation
- 1/5
The building and all amenities are broken down. Hotel smelled like mold and mildew. Carpets were very dirty. Parking looked very sketchy and no food in building so they gave out vouchers to next door breakfast buffet which was gross and coffee and water was 7.50 a piece. Pool and game room was very dated. Overall. Go down the road and stay.
- 2/5
They ran out of hot water for our shower. The pool is gross.
- 5/5
My kids loved the pool and water slide
- 4/5
The location is great, the room was clean and well furnished. I would have liked a little more information on the location of things in the hotel, the hours for the pool, check out time, etc.
- 2/5
I thought the family suite had a whole kitchen. It was a little stove, little sink and a mini fridge. The microwave did not close and they were aware of this and did not try to get a new one. The bathroom had a huge hole in the ceiling and it leaked water the whole time. The front desk was made aware of this as soon as we arrived and never offered a new room or doscount. You couldnt use the toliet without water leaking on you.The shower doors kept coming off track and had to be fixed by maintenance.
- 3/5
The free breakfast ended up costing me $20. The property needs a serious updating.
- 5/5
Was lovely and friendly feel
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 3/5
It was a nice place to stay, close to a lot of things to do. The staff was super nice and welcoming.
- 2/5
The 4th floor smelled terrible. It definitely had water damage.
- 4/5
The king room we had was good sized and clean. We liked the balcony except for the a/c unit exhaust blew hot air onto the balcony. We didn't like the inconvenience of having to wait until 8 am to eat breakfast at the Buffet Restaurant next door. But the price was very affordable for the hotel. We would probably stay there again. We didn't use the pool, but we were told by other guests the water was very warm.
- 3/5
However... There was a fairly sizeable splotch of what looked like pasta sauce between the head of my bed and the side table. There was what looked like mold on the back of the balcony curtain. There was rust on the bathtub metal fixtures, and in the refrigerator. The covering for the light in the bathroom was flat out missing, exposing wiring, and the outlet I used sparked alarmingly for one phone charger. I'm sure some rooms offer more of a view, but ours literally faced a wall that went above everything. Most importantly to me, though: the shower was not hot, not even for a minute. Just barley warm enough to feel warm. To me, a shower and a bed are the two most basic functions for a hotel. The internet was also very laggy. It seems they very much need an update/remodeling, as well as the ability to functionally serve as many travelers as they take in. The biggest plus by far was the pool. The slide was fast and fun, and the water was a nice temperature.
- 2/5
For one the breakfast is not free!! Kids are half price and they charge for drinks!! That’s a lie. The carpet on the 4th floor was soaked from a water leakage that was never cleaned the three days we were there. It smelled like mold. Two of the three days we had no hot water to shower or bath. The towels were like steel wool brushes they provide for the rooms. Overall this place is not worth the money.
- 3/5
The room was older but clean. The bathroom was more of the issue, the tub was not clean and the sink was stopped up. Also the linens we were brought were stained. Staff was nice, but pool area needed an update as well. The liner made the water look dirty.
- 1/5
The property is old and smells musty.. Needs major updates and maintenance. The ceiling had a yellow hue assuming it used to be a smokers room. The tile in the shower was broken and the bathroom door frame was rusting. The pool was great until it wasn’t, a toddler pooped in the little kids area and they made everyone get out. The coffee was scorching hot and terrible. We won’t stay here again! Only positive is the location.
- 2/5
We left early in The evening as the bed was very uncomfortable, air conditioning didn’t work properly and noisy. The whole hotel smells awful, pool water was nasty, water slide needs to be replaced along with the patio furniture that is in the area. When we were leaving there was a section of the hallway that was flooded with water. The couches in the hallway need to be replaced. The smell of cigarette and pot was everywhere. Very disappointed for my grandson who couldn’t enjoy his birthday present probably as he wanted to go on the water slide more but the full grown adults and children were taking it over from the smaller kids. At some points there were 3 full grown adults coming down the water slide together.
- 1/5
This was one of the worst places that we have ever stayed in. Very outdated, plumbing issues, rude sercice desk people, not very clean, and we had to change rooms in the moddle of the night because of plumbing issues in the room. The restaurant thst they give you bteakfast vouchers for is horrble. The health department was called and they found roaches, a fly problem and food not being kept at proper temperatures. This we saw on a news report the week we were there. Will never stay here again!!
- 5/5
Loved the pool
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay, the only issue was there was a leak some where that kept the carpet soaking wet, they would vaccum thebwater up several times a day which would not kast very long bit overall I enjoyd my stay and would stay there again.
- 1/5
We booked the Family Suite for 3 nights Room 2114. The day we checked in and walked into the Master Bedroom of the suite, there was a bad odor which we immediately figured out that is was mildew/mold from a leaking sprinkler water because the Master Suite Bathroom had a gaping hole in the ceiling from an active Sprinkler Pipe leak. The mattress on the bed in the Master Suite was so worn out that it provided NO support or comfort! Then on the second day we were there, the ENTIRE resort had NO HOT WATER! We couldn’t even take our morning showers because the water was ICE COLD! We decided to go to breakfast and come back at around 10:45am-11:00am and still NO HOT WATER. The hot water didn’t come back until 2:00pm… we cut our vacation a day short and left because the mildew smell was pretty bad. The Resort REFUSED to refund us the last night and NEVER bothered to offer us anything for the inconvenience that the lack of hot water created! The amount of money we paid for the HORRIBLE accommodations is highway ROBBERY! We DO NOT RECOMMEND this resort to anyone! The other thing, they tell you that they offer discounted rates for Dollywood Tickets, that’s a LIE! You can obtain the tickets at a more economical price directly from the Dollywood Website!
- 4/5
Clean but old no oven bathroom door didn't close
- 4/5
It's a great location close to everything! The restaurant they give you vouchers for and pay for kids wasn't good.
- 1/5
The hotel was not clean, there was hair in the clean towels, there was hair on the sink in the bathroom, and there was something smeared on the back of the bathroom door. The hotel was dated I’m not sure it’s ever been updated, the bottom of the door frame of the bathroom was rusting away and the shower curtain rod was falling down. The side door that is supposed to be for guests did not lock so anyone could get in.
- 5/5
Easy to access , a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant next door . Property very clean inside and out . Rooms very clean , We had stayed previously and plan to in the future
- 5/5
We enjoyed the room and view.
- 4/5
The pool was a huge draw but if it rains they do close it down during the storm. I do recommend and really give 4.5 starts, mostly because of the pool closing since it is enclosed.
- 5/5
Really nice clean and kids loved the water slide
- 2/5
$50. Room at best. Old, outdated, musty hallways.Matresses poor at best.
- 4/5
Stayed for six days, for my grandsons baseball tournament in June. We enjoyed the stay very much.
- 1/5
We paid until the 11th and had to leave on the 10th
- 3/5
Staff was excellent, building was old and needed some love. The "continental breakfast" was only for 1 person, had to pay for the other, and the "restaurant" next door (where said breakfast was}was at best a poor resemblance to a bad golden corral...made the mistake of eating there when we arrived, cost for 2 people $62.00, and was school cafeteria grade food. The whole place had an air of past glory, we were booked for 2 days but left after the first night.
- 3/5
Lobby and seating areas were nice. Bed was uncomfortable
- 5/5
We like staying there. Prices are reasonable. The room was clean. Staff were very friendly. Great location. The coffee not bad neither.
- 3/5
Pool was great, slide was fun for the family. Staff was nice, housekeeping did a great job and any requests were met almost instantaneously. Only complaint is the free breakfast, was not free for the whole family, drinks were not included, and the breakfast also was not located inside of the hotel. I would suggest making this more clear for those booking at this hotel. Other than this, our stay was great.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The tv was old, not a smart tv to use with streaming from home like we like to do. Loved the free breakfast! Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The property offered great ambience which is next to the Hollywood Titanic and Disney in Pigeon Forge. Also the upside down building is walkable. The best is the breakfast buffet. I haven't had a great breakfast buffet in USA even in any high end hotels from Mariott, Hyatt etc. This was totally unique. I do not know whether they offer the same throughout the year or it was for the 4th July..the pool was super although we didn't use it but looks great. Overall plesant experience and my family enjoyed the whole trip...
- 5/5
I love it
- 5/5
My son loved the indoor pool and water slide!
- 5/5
Quiet
- 3/5
Nothing, and nasty carpet in room was nasty and dirty looked like it had not been shampooed for a very long time and lamp shades was stained the bed was not right I woke up and was hurting in my back
- 3/5
Wish could enforce the small pool being for the little kids because the teenagers scared my son. Room service was very on point making sure we had fresh towels each day. There was pool towels at front desk you could grab and go which was a nice touch. Only area that needs improvement is the room itself. The toilet seat was loose and could use more or better pillows.
- 1/5
This is advertised as a pet friendly property. We have a small dog that we brought with us. The put us on the fourth floor at the back of the hotel. They do not have a pet area. You have to walk all the way to the end of the property where there is grass in front of some of their parking. Someone complained that our puppy was barking when we were next door having breakfast. We had to leave our breakfast that we paid for. It’s a puppy and you are a pet friendly hotel. There is going to be some barking. The room was not great. I didn’t expect it to be much because I find that pet friendly hotels are more like motels, but I expected it to be clean. 1 set of towels for 3 people. The room smelled of smoke and wet dog. There wasn’t hot water to shower with. The hallway smelled like urine and my flip flops stuck to the carpet. Staff clearly hated their job and the one person that seemed happy was new and unfortunately, there was a language barrier. The pool was horrid. The temperature was like hot bath water and it was dirty. We walked in and walked right out. On our way out we saw multiple Band aids stuck to the floor and hair everywhere. I would not walk past this place, let alone stay in it ever again. Unfortunately, we had no choice as we were 4 hours from home on a holiday week with our puppy.
- 5/5
This was our first time at Grand Smokies and we really enjoyed it. Good chance we will return.
- 3/5
It was old and dirty
- 5/5
Nice pool with Slide and the Free breakfast buffet was great!
- 4/5
Decent, great water pressure but very loud.
- 5/5
This property was excellent. Great friendly staff close to several different places comfortable beds. All around great for the price. Very clean
- 4/5
I was aware of co duration on property. While Olivia was kind to change our room to one with a balcony …surprised to see missing g fixture on bathroom light
- 5/5
Had a great time. We all loved the pool and how close we were to everything. We will be staying here again!!
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean! We especially enjoyed breakfast! Breakfast is provided by the restaurant next door, all you can eat buffet! All you have to pay for is your drinks! It’s also close to a lot of fun stuff to do! Can’t wait to go back!
- 5/5
I loved everything about the hotel the pool was earm and my son loved the slide and i did to only complaint was half the machine in the arcade area didnt work so i lost some money
- 5/5
Bed was not soft
- 5/5
Very nice and accommodating
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
The real, only complaint was the bed. The bed needs update. Both sides were very noisy getting off the bed.
- 5/5
The people were great abd we had all the conveniences. We loved it, we will stay here from now on when we visit Pegion Forge.
- 4/5
The property is clearly “dated”. The outside is much more “hood” than the inside. It appears they are making the effort to do some upgrades. Once those are completed, the property should be a bit more desirable.
- 5/5
Our stay at The Grand Resort was a wonderful experience. There was some slight confusion with our 3rd party reservation which was quickly resolved by the staff. Our room was huge, comfortable and quiet.
- 1/5
The pool was dirty and my husband felt as though he was being bit. Gave me a rash- it did fade but was very disappointing. Stairwells had no cameras. Looked run down
- 5/5
it was very clean and updated, very friendly staff
- 5/5
Love the indoor pool and slide. Very clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was a free buffet to restaurant adjacent to the hotel and had a 1.5 hour time frame you had to eat, but the food was excellent.
- 3/5
The room was not bad overall, and we got a good deal price wise. The pool was nice, I’d suggest adding some more texture to the bottom of the kiddy pool. My 3 year old kept slipping and falling under water, but still had a blast. Room was clean, outdated but mostly clean, the window and shower curtains could use a good wash. Mattress was comfortable, linens, pillows, and bed frame were super cheap though. The metal bed frame makes this weird echo noise when you get out of bed too close to the edge. Could hear our neighbors, and they weren’t doing anything that was loud, just the walls are not very well insulated. Nothing in the arcade works, don’t waste your money (and not all signs are posted as out of order). Sink and bath tub took forever to drain. Breakfast Buffet was nice, good selection for all types of eaters (picky). Most of the things above have been addressed in other reviews, so we knew some of these things before our stay.
- 4/5
Everything was good. Looking forward to getting back.
- 2/5
The beds were extremely hard. My first day there I broke my nose on the only clean window. Six days later my face print was still on the window and there was still a small spot of blood on the floor that they missed. They did put a trash can in front of the window to prevent future guests from doing the same thing though. It looks like construction stopped and never started back up. The television picked up maybe 6 channels and was not a smart TV, so I couldn't watch anything even if I wanted to, which after my hospital visit the first day, all I wanted to do was be lazy that evening. It was okay for a budget friendly place, but next time I will stay elsewhere
- 4/5
It was a nice place to stay
- 5/5
Very clean free breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast buffet is in different building in front of hotel and you still had to pay for your drinks, which would have been nice to know. My daughter loved the water slide.
- 5/5
Within walking distance to the things my family and I were interested in.
- 5/5
The room we stayed it was great. The staff very friendly and helpful. They are updating the outside of the building and some room renovations to make it even better. The pool and slide was a lot of fun for the kids and and adults.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
The large clean rooms, and the location to everything
- 3/5
Lady at front desk had horrible attitude at check in, must have been the worst day of her life. Shower curtains do not stay closed bc of bent rod (after asking other guests, they had the same issue in their rooms so we didn't bother with switching, wouldn't want to bother grumpy lady at desk anyways) Expect to use all your towels sopping up water. Check out in the am was rough, as other guests were hoarding all the carts in their rooms. We had to make two trips downstairs, including carrying a full ice chest after a back injury. We had a better experience at Knights Inn for much less in cost. I regret booking this hotel and will look at other properties for future TN trips. ONLY book this hotel if you are wanting the pool for your kids! It won't let me add a photo of the shower curtain.
- 4/5
Nice property. Fluid check in. Nice room. Small TV. Have to sit at the foot of the bed to watch it.
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
I will never stay here again or recommend this location. It looks run down and old. Not taken care of at all. It reeks of weed everywhere you go. The lady at check in was wearing a sweatshirt and playing on her phone when we walked up. No friendly smile or customer service. Just an overall bad experience.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice , clean . The pool was great ! Warm and my boys lived the waterslide ! Only issues we had was the entire floor we were on smelled like weed so bad it was also in our room . We only stayed 1 night there , didn’t stay the rest of the nights we had booked .
- 3/5
A little out dated
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, was a little noisy, but overall a positive experience.
- 5/5
The fact that you get free breakfast on your stay
- 5/5
This is not a five-star modern top of the line hotel. But! Don't let that fool you! It is a great hotel with everything you need for a very good price! To include the breakfast buffets is and even better deal! I have stayed at Wilderness at the Smokies multiple times and I will continue to come back to Great Smoky Resort Lodge instead! Well worth the value!
- 5/5
Convenient and very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
It was good and the hotel was clean
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing was we thought the couch pulled out to a bed and it didn’t so we had to make a pallet in the floor for our son cause he was to long to sleep on the couch.
- 3/5
It was just okay! Bed was not very comfortable, and although the staff attempted to fix it our tv didn’t work. Pool was super loud and not very relaxing. The place is under renovation so maybe once it’s all done it will be better.
- 2/5
Overall the stay was decent. I could hear everything the next room was doing. The walls were very thin. I could hear my neighbors alarm clock going off several times in the morning. I didn’t sleep well on the outdated mattress. The carpet was very old and had a smell. Probably won’t stay there again.
- 3/5
Most of the arcade games took our money, front desk clerk was super helpful to reimburse us. The water slide was very fast and kiddo loved it. Not an awful place, but if you're counting on a free breakfast this place doesn't have it.
- 4/5
Pretty good Lodge! Close to everything on the parkway!

The pool was fun, breakfast was at a second sit but it was good, but they only offered it for the adults not children. Overall it was decent, not sure I’d stay again. If I do I know what tonexpect

The front desk staff clearly don't want to be there and are not friendly or kind. My young son asked the front desk for a plastic spoon and they told him to "go across the street and buy one" When you are checking in there is a long and confusing process where they want you to sign and initial about 10 different rules. They also give you an odd lecture about ordering food from other places. According to them, Papa John's is the only pizza place that can deliver to your room and if you order Domino's you have to go across the street and stand in the cracker barrel parking lot and wait for your delivery? I'm going to add some photos of how gross the bathroom was on top of everything else. There are no nicetes. The doors did not lock. There's not even a mirror in the bedroom. Hard pass on ever saying in this hotel again. Update - I'm trying to add photos and the app won't let me.

Great value! We love the pool. Rooms are spacious! Unfortunately, half the things in the arcade steal your tokens or don’t work. Would be perfect if not for that.

Very clean, very cool concept of hotel. Wish more of the games worked or were communicated that they were not working. Very comfy and home like vibe. Dont recommend the free breakfast though, at the lodge, very disorganized and bland, not enough servers. The pool and play area was fantastic but definitely needed more chairs. Overall, very impressed and would stay here again!

Other than room service attempting to open the door at 9:30 am when my daughter was walking by it, stay was great. DO NOT DISTURB sign was posted on the door handle.

When we were taking a shower on the 1st night, the water never got hot and the water pressure was horrible. We stayed on the 5th floor, last room on the floor. I do understand it takes a while for the hot water to travel , but it only got colder and zero water pressure. In the tub, it was worse than a kitchen sink faucet. We called the front desk and a maintenance guy came up and said it’s bc we were on the 5th floor and the last room. Nothing was done . Didn’t offer us to move to a different room. So, the next night- we tried showering at a different time and it was worse. After my daughter and me , my husband and sons water was ice cold at the end of the shower. I advised the front desk at checkout I was not happy about the water in the bathroom : no pressure and not hot. All they said was “sorry, I’ll get that checked on”. Not being able to have a decent shower, makes for a bad overall experience. I will probably never recommend this hotel or stay here again.

We love this property very quiet. Very clean. No problems

It was a nice stay. The hotel is older and a tad rundown. Needs a good cleaning. The only issue we had was as they were fixing the elevator in the morning, They kept setting off the fire alarm. We went on the off-season, so it wasn’t crowded, which was really nice.

Thevwas wonderful. Just seen where the tile wasnt connected all the in the kitchen, and bathroom. Had to get maintenance to come tighten a handle on the frying pan. But other than tjose few minor things our room was great.
