I especially liked the breakfast, everything was delicious and the coffee was just right. Carpet in our room could use a little cleaning. Bathroom needs a little touch up painting. Bed is very comfortable for us and bedding was very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel. Enjoy your stay.

Everyone was kind and helpful,from the front desk to the room attendants. Breakfast was a plus. Will stay again when visiting Plant City. Rooms were recently renovated. Bed was confer table and so was the air conditioner. Only drawback was the elevator was so slow.

Overall it was adequate. The television and cable package were archaic. It took 10 seconds to change a Chanel, number keys didn’t work, guide was inaccurate and tv was too small. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Katie was the only saving grace we had during this weekend but it was not enough to save our stay there at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plant City. On the 1st night upon check in the room had a musty scent. The sound proofing was barely existent as we heard every car pass on the highway. There were points where the AC would just not cool for 30 minute periods at a time. Old TV with limited channels and entertainment options. Then, to complete the trip after signing up for the rewards membership couldn't even get the courtesy of a late checkout being rushed out by the staff with what felt like no empathy.

I think fresh fruit other than only bananas and apples. Everything else was ok.

The freezer area was also in very bad condition, with visible residue and dirt, clearly something that hasn’t been cleaned in ages. In the room, although the curtain looked fine, everything else was very disappointing. The air conditioning was another issue—we had to turn it off because it was triggering allergies for all of us, which clearly shows a lack of proper maintenance. Honestly, the place is filthy. In a hotel, cleanliness is the most important thing, and this place completely fails at that. I would not return or recommend it.

The Holiday Inn is a great place to stay for a few days and nights. It’s located near the fairgrounds, Hardrock Casino in Tampa, & within a half an hour of the City of Tampa.

Clean room. Elevator was Wierd klangy. Showers need bath mats damn near broke my hip falling in shower.

The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was superior. The room was not cleaned properly. Pink mold was in the upper corners of the shower and the trip trough on the shower base had not been cleaned in ages. It was brown! The dust on the table was deep enough to write your name. A greaser head print was on the door above the peep hole. I tried to talk to the cleaning staff but they didn’t speak English. I was going to ask to borrow the vacuum but it was dirtier on the outside than the inside. Cob webs were hanging from the ceiling above the bed. We were there during a festival, but many of the items I mentioned had been neglected for a long period of time.

Super clean room, had been renovated lately everything was perfect! Staff was friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Breakfast area clean, well stocked and hot food. Very pleasant stay.

We were in one of the newly decorated rooms and they have put in some very practical things, when you come in the door there is a small area to drop your keys, purse and some hooks to hang your coat or whatever, nice touch. Room was very clean as well. Always enjoy having a coffee machine in our room, hate having to get dressed and go downstairs to get my first cup of coffee. The buffet was pretty good as well with a variety of choices. All and all this is a nice place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Some rooms have been remodeled. Ours, on the 2nd floor, was not but it was clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast offered variety and was done well.

The room has a kind of bad smell even though we opted for a non-smoking room. Breakfast was also not so great.

The lady who checked us in was outside when we arrived smoking. A bottle of Jack Daniel’s was on the “breakfast “area long with tons of Christmas presents which someone was wrapping. No one was around when it was time to check out. No water pressure. Elevator took forever.

The Breakfast was great the rooms were good and clean and Lorry really stood out for her hospitality and service. She is true asset to the business and her help after a bad experience with Quality Inn nextdoor was greatly appreciated.

Hotel is under renovations and desperately needs it. There was a grossly stained chair in our room. I’ve machine was nasty. Staff was very friendly though.

Confused on why I was charged twice for a single night stay that I had already paid for through hotels.com. I was charged approximately $185 by hotels.com and then $173 the day of check in when it was made clear that I only needed to pay the $185.

Our stay was great! Even with the hotel currently under going some renovations the hotel staff is very accommodating with e wet thing if something isn’t right in the rooms. This will not be our last stay at this hotel at all we enjoyed how comfortable and clean the rooms were

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The employees were helpful and very nice ladies. They are in the middle of renovations but it didn't affect our stay. Great coffee and breakfast too.

On top of this, the hotel was under renovations and we were not alerted to this until after we checked in. And apparently renovations continue even on Sunday morning. Other than it just being a miserable experience being forced to stay here with no proper accomadations to an ADA room or allowing us to change hotels, the breakfast was pretty good and the racoons and stray cats were cute so that's why I give this place a 2.

The TV didn't work, & there was construction going on right above us with very loud noise very early in the morning.

The breakfast was ok, but need more variety, needs add pancakes and waffles. The room was clean, but need more entertainment at tv like Netflix.

Hotel was overbooked so we couldnt get the suite we booked, but hotel was clean and staff was very friendly.

The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. I have zero complaints. It was a great overnight stay.

The property looks run down from the outside. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating however our room had some concerns. The bed sheets had hair, the bed skirts were stained and the bed was not made up neatly, was wrinkly. The sofa was old and had stains. One of the phones weren’t working. There were no other rooms available and the cleaning staff already left for the day so we decided to leave.

Friendly staff and front desk check in. Property is a bit older with noticeable wear and tear but it is in the process of remodeling. It should be really nice when finished. Although the condition might be a bit worn currently, the rooms, lobby, and breakfast were kept very clean by the maids.

The place was under construction, but communication about the construction was good. I thought the accommodations were clean and comfortable. My niece loved the breakfast (biscuits and gravy). The large fridge was a surprise! More than anything, the staff was probably the kindest that I have met anywhere--and in much higher-end hotels. They were worth the stay.

Renovations going on so if your looking for a quiet stay i dont recommend but overall once the workers leave its quiet.

It was easily accessible from I-4. Bed was comfortable. Room was as very clean. They were renovating which was much needed. Just wish they would have cleaned rooms during our stay and provided more towels.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good, the negative things were told to me upon arrival. Under construction, water limited certain times, slowest elevator, pool out of commission, but I had booked where I couldn’t cancel so we stayed.

Rest is very nice

The day check in lady kate was extremely friendly, night desk not so much. Entire baseball team booked beer for our tournament. Our boys were respectful, but boys will be boys and the night desk person felt they should just sit in the rooms from 8pm to 8am, very frustrating how rude she was. Hotel is under construction, so water shut on and off. Was not told that prior to stay being booked. Definitely needs to be upgraded.

I like the staff

Need to be cleaned and furniture needs to be replaced skirting for the bed need to be replaced. It was filthy won’t stay again. I recommend it to anyone.

Stay was okay . There was construction going on and was not aware of it until check in . During check in they charged card an extra 100 dollars for incidentals which I was not aware of or ever had . I have had hotels swipe the card for that but not put a charge on and in seven business days hopefully it comes off ?

The hotel is very clean and nice. The check-in process was easy. Staff is friendly Parking is convenient across the street from a lot of fast food options. Only drawback is that there is $100 incidental per stay I only stayed one night and had to leave the $100 deposit

I was surprised that it was a Holiday Inn in this condition. Apparently it’s an older one and I wasn’t impressed. We booked a king size room got a room with two queen size beds. They even booked us under the wrong name, but the manager on Duty in the morning, made it all right, so that was a good point

It looked like an old hotel trying to fix things up. When we booked it said it said it was exceptional. Far from it.

What was disappointing: the hot water and the shower comes and goes. And when it goes it can take long minutes to get hot again while you’re standing there freezing cold and wet waiting. We stayed here 4 nights and it was the same every time any of us showered. We also heard other guests complaining about it. We weren’t using the pool but did check it out and it was freezing so just fyi. Otherwise would stay here again!

Julie at the check in and check out was amazing! She made us laugh! Told us places to go, we wish she was able to be part of our girls trip! She made us want to come back! Mike from maintenance was funny he made us laugh when we were checking out. The whole team that was on during our stay made our first GIRLS TRIP memorable and made us feel like we had made a new family! Thank you so much! The hotel was one of the cleanest and smelled so good from the time you walked into the hotel till the time you left!

One night trip. Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly. The hotel was full and some of other guests were loud, to the point of obnoxious, very early in the morning. I know that's not the fault of the hotel. The A/C leaked into the carpet, so the floor was soaked. All-in-all, our stay was fine and we'll be back again.

The staff were nice and attentive. The overall facilities need many updates. The outside of hotel is a busy street and therefore you can hear the traffic noise.

The water faucet in the bathtub constantly ran. I mentioned it to the staff they responded with we are in need of renovations. I had the hardest time getting any sleep because that’s all I could hear. No offer to move my room. The bed was never made the only thing the house keeping did was pick up the trash. I had to ask for my towels to be changed out and I just kept getting sorry as a response. The elevator seemed to get stuck on each floor and they had a floor fan facing the motor of the elevator to cool it down.

First room we got the tv was completely broken. So they switched our room from the 4th floor all the way down to the 2nd floor. Which as soon as you walk into the room the light was broken when you went to turn it on it would just blink on and off and the tv that was on that room was half the size and the bed wasn’t the same quality that I paid for. By that time I was just so tired from driving all night long all I wanted to do was sleep. But went back to the desk to see if they had any other rooms like my first one on the 4th floor. They told me no theirs no rooms available. Horrible service. You spend a lot of money for not so good quality. Let alone they don’t tell you about the extra $75 pet fee until you’re there. So if you book online expect to be charged more when you get there. Outside the place was very unsafe. They didn’t give you any kind of parking pass so anybody could come in and out all night long weather your staying at the hotel or not. People were always outside at all hours of the night.

However, the last day, the oven was out of order which caused us to find breakfast in a different establishment.

The hotel smelled like b.o. and fried chicken. It was very unpleasant. The room wasn't incredibly dirty, but I've stayed in much cleaner Holiday Inns, so I was a bit disappointed.

I only stay for one night simple room just needs updating and bad breakfast area too small also elevators take forever.

Had to give &100.00 deposit from my credit card. When I left I asked for it back. They said it will be returned in a couple days. That was the 27th now it is the 3 still no money. I wanted a room with a king bed. They gave me handicapped room. I offered to pay more for a. Regular room. The answer was. No! They wouldn’t give me receipt !!!

Have not stayed in a Holiday hotel in over 20 years. The property was clean. Looks like they are starting to do some renovations. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were very nice and friendly especially the breakfast guy. He was very attentive to our needs. Overall it did not disappoint after all these years. Will stay again. Thanks!

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Friendly staff all around and very clean. Some of the facilities need care but we’re glad to recommend this place. And they’re pet friendly!

Beds seemed to be very used and needed to be upgraded as well as bed skirts. Pool needed to be cleaned.

They gave me a wheelchair accessible room that I didn’t request, first floor, first room of the building, I asked if they could move me to another single king or a double and they told me they couldn’t, the hotel fully booked. Why they assigned me this room at first?
