Quality Inn Pleasant View

Everything was great, wonderful helpful staff. But there was no elevator - only 2 floors - but was with my 82 yr old mom. Had to make multiple trips up because she gets winded easily and I was carrying for both. AC didnt seem to cool hreatly, but I could sleep well enough. Breakfast was good.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean but the tub/shower needs a remodel. Breakfast was good but needs to be replenished more often, if we'd have asked maybe they would refill it. Nice staff. It's definitely worth the stay.

Pretty nice stay, super reasonable price. Sheets were stained but clean. Would just say visually maybe updating the sheets but will be back again.

The fact that the owner blocks the third party vendors from the rooms via fake reservations then cancels each time a person walks in. So she can charge extra

The hotel itself needs to be updated, very poor condition and the room was less than welcoming. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, and bedding had stains and rips. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Nice clean and comfy place to stay conveniently located right off the highway

We came in late and left early, without eating breakfast so there isn't much to say. The receptionist was very helpful and nice while the room was clean and comfortable.

My husband wanted to use the wifi with our laptop but found out he couldn't unless he watched a video by Quality Inn encouraging him to get a membership. He was frustrated that this was required and he just shut the laptop off. This will discourage us from staying at other Quality Inns.

The beds including mattress, pillows and bedding were all very good. That makes for a good stay. We were on the road by 5:30 AM and did not get a chance to check out the breakfast buffet. This stay was a solid bang for the buck.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, was sufficient for our needs. Nothing fancy. Front doors were broken and hotel could use upgrade.

The breakfast was typical. Mostly carbs. No fresh fruit. However, with that being said. I'm not sure if there was some. It was pretty busy with lots of kids. So there may have been some. I'm not a breakfast eater. I go there for coffee and fruit to take with me. The coffee was excellent. Nothing really. It is an older hotel. So that is why not excellent. But, the price is worth the stay. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. That is why I'm there to take a shower and sleep. Those were great. They provided you with all the necessary things. They had a fridge and a coffee machine in your room. A very nice stand to put your luggage on. It was great.

Parking was challenging with a Uhaul.

Close to interstate and KFC No elevator only other choice was first floor with dogs. Door wasn’t secured. Front door not open.

Did what was needed

Bed and room was clean. Bed is nice. Room is spacious. Staff is friendly, breakfast was good!

Staff was great, parking lot was small with little room for a car with trailer, room was clean. The carpet in our room was worn badly. There were places where the pattern was completely worn off. Steps to the second floor were uneven.

The least at the front desk was super nice when I checked in. The room and bathroom was clean. I didn't have to m time to check out the breakfast but it is offered. All in all I would definitely stay again.

The staff were very nice. We stayed only one night and they were 100 percent booked. Unfortunately we were at end of hall by outside door and stairs. The noise from both, coupled by guest voices continued until almost 3am. No sleep was to be had. I'm sure the property would have been better if less full or possibly a different room. Did not eat from limited breakfast so can't rate that part. Did experience a slight dog smell that seemed to occur when AC cut on.

It was disgusting. Not sure the last time the floors or carpets were cleaned. Pillow were yellow and stained. My main door had no lock and it didnt fit the door frame. BAD, BAD, BAD experience.

They could do a better job of cleaning the rooms. The bathroom floor corners were all dirty. And the bathroom faucet wasn't wiped clean. Vacume the stairs to the second floor too.

Staff was very friendly. Entire location was quiet and very clean. The only drawback I saw was the shower / tub had an obvious sloppy attempt at a DIY reglazing to it and stained. Based on everything else, I assume it was cleaned thoroughly but it was enough to make you second guess actually using it without having shower shoes or a towel in the bottom as a level of self protection. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is showing its age. The breakfast was simple. It was fine for what we needed as we traveled south.

Perhaps the price was related to the weather, but I was rather blown away by how nice and convenient this hotel was for the cost. The room was clean, quite, and comfortable, and only a few minutes away from the Vanderbilt clinic in Pleasant View. The H.G. Hill food store was equally close, for a quick provisioning run.

All was good, except having to repeatedly sign in to wifi and having to watch an ad to do it. Annoying.

Phone didn't work before the ice storm no other soap except what they use for hand washing only breakfast but no other room service was available

The coffee in the room was not good. The breakfast was hard biscuits and bland coffee. When we got there the room was musty and dust was everywhere. The shower head leaked. The room smelled like it had had dogs in it previously.

Checking out The hotel has no elevator, the rooms are super filthy, the beds have lots of urine and blood stain sheets. There’s no safety latch to keep people From coming in or toddlers from just walking out. Multiple homeless people camping outside, and running in and out taking food as they please. Owner of hotel is super rude no customer service.

The dryer was running all night keeping us awake. We heard every late night guest check in. Staff was very nice at check out and in.

Greeted warmly by staff upon checkin. Room was decent but desperately needs a refresh. The room was super stuffy and the a/c sounded like it was on its last leg. I woke up sweating and the bed was not very comfortable so we didn’t get a good nights rest before hitting the road again.

The only reason I gave two stars was because the staff was very helpful and friendly. Otherwise, the place was disgusting! We arrived into our room and there was a large pee stain on the sheets. I asked to be moved to another room but because it was a Saturday night they were completely booked somehow. They offered to change the sheets so after hours of driving and already paying $100 that I would have lost-I agreed. They should just change the name

Room was in great condition. Orange juice at breakfast seemed watered down and the eggs were precooked round patties heated up.

Sheets were scratchy, pillows were very small like throw pillows. Mattress was uncomfortable. Bathroom mirror, lamps and clothes rack were all corroded. This place needs to be completely renovated!!

Worst thing is, they had absolutely no coffee in the morning!!!! This is unacceptable for a hotel. Also not enough supplies in the room. Like toilet paper, tissues and towels.

booked a room with two double beds - they charged us extra for 3 adults instead of two adults. beds were not very comfortable. breakfast was just ok. workout room was good. air conditioning was off in the room when we checked in - too hot in July.

It was a perfect stopover for us on our long distance trip out to South Dakota.

The receptionist greeted us w a smile and was very welcoming. Checkin was quick and easy. Our room was great. Mini fridge a huge plus. Beds were comfortable w plenty of pillows. AC worked great. Breakfast had lots of options. One thing to note: NO ELEVATOR- not an issue for us but it could be for some. Would stay here again.

Very nice people at the front desk. I had my puppy for the one night that I stayed. It only costing me $20 per night but had no problems with the staff. The Rome was big clean and there was plenty of room in the parking lot, even though the parking lot was kind of small. If you have anything other than a truck or a car.

Room was filthy. Toilet visibly dirty, something smeared on door jamb, bedside table had a sticky spill that was visible. Carpet was not vacuumed. Putting us in an uncleaned room was unacceptable and we will not use Quality Inn or Choice Hotels again as they do not clean rooms between guests.

Found a cockroch in the bathroom. Next door guest was blasting the TV all night.

Property needs to be refreshed. Walls had spots on them, furniture beat up. Refrigerator wouldn’t sit level. Room door didn’t fit well. Could hear all the noise in hallway. Treadmill broken. Staff was fine but property just needs attention.

I only book hotels on this site with eight or more stars, and I have no idea how this one got that many. There were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. There was long hair (much longer than mine), hanging off of a hand towel and in the shower. I was utterly exhausted, so I decided to stay. Under normal circumstances, I probably would have left. The sheets and pillows were relatively clean but not 100%. Front desk staff was friendly. The room was pretty bright, I wished I would have brought an eye mask.

We arrived late and the room was not the cleanest and there was a bug in the room. We didn’t think it was a roach so we killed it and not seeing any others, went to bed. The next morning, we saw a roach in the lobby so are now second guessing the bug in our room.

I was charged extra money to have 3 people in a 2 queen bed room. The occupancy stated 4 people. I have never been charged to have 3 people in a 2 queen room. I was then charged extra for the “free” breakfast. This is absolutely not ok. The fridge was unplugged and didn’t work. There were only two towels in the room. The beds were very uncomfortable. I booked this room for my husband and two coworkers for a business trip and I wil never stay here again.

I booked the hotel in the parking lot. When I went inside the clerk asked if I booked thru 3rd party. I said yes. “Well, it’s going to be 30-45 minutes before you get your room”. “ How old is your granddaughter?” I said 15. “Well she’s an adult, , I guess I have to call 3rd party and explain that again.” I explained that I put her age in where it asked. She was the rudest clerk I have ever come in contact with and this was after driving 14 hours and it was midnight!!!!!

Had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Helped confirm availability of a pet-friendly room and got me quickly checked in. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Would consider again if passing through in the future.

There was dog feces in our room. The sheets were clean but it didn't look like anything else had been cleaned. The bathroom was very dirty. We will not be returning to this hotel.

“Hot breakfast” included soggy scrambled eggs that didn’t appear to be refreshed ever (half my family ate lukewarm eggs about 20 minutes after breakfast started, the others found completely cold eggs about an hour into breakfast) and overcooked sausage patties. They also had a toaster so you could toast bread or bagels. And a microwave if you were inclined to microwave water in a styrofoam bowl in order to make instant oatmeal. Not sure about normal price, but we booked at the last minute, so we paid almost $200 for our one room. For that amount, I expected a much nicer hot breakfast and we were all very disappointed.
