Although the entire hotel is non-smoking, the room had a significant odor of cigarette smoke. Otherwise, the property and amenities were satisfactory.

No pool, nice staff, fine for a couple of nights

I was so happy to see NO CARPET! It was easy to find. There were good meal choices up and down the road. It was certainly a thousand times better than I anticipated. Modern furnishings, a very comfortable bed, clean linens and towels. Microwave, mini fridge, Air conditioner/ heater unit, large screen TV, plenty of plugins, good lighting inside and out.

No ice machine - have to request ice from the desk and they give it out sparingly in a pre- made bag. The office closes at 10 pm and after that you can't get anything. There was jumping/thumping in room above which I mentioned to the office. It continued. Tv was hard to work as it kept going to wrong input. Requires a $50 deposit even though I had already pre-paid for the room through Expedia. Pet area had old nasty pet waste dried on it (artificial turf). We took the dogs elsewhere. Pro: no charge for the first two dogs

The owner/manager was very nice, and accommodating. The hotel is a little bit older. It could use a revamp of the rooms, but everything was clean and overall everything was great.

The proprietors were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was spotless and the modern interior pleasant. You can't give a budget hotel 5 stars because it's just not in that category, but this Motel 6 was reasonably pleasant for the price.

So I paid through Expedia. When I got it the hotel they asked me for 50 dollar deposit which is fine cause usually you get it back. It showed on my bank as pending but now it has been taken out. And I didn’t even know why. The room was not destroyed or any damage to anything I stayed one night.

We were driving through Portland and tired. It was very late, so we were open to staying somewhere as affordable as possible and put this booking through from the highway. When we arrived, we realized it was on a busy street, and that it is mostly a residential hotel with several people who live there hanging out on the front steps. No one was even there to check us in, and the people out front said the front desk leaves at 9 or 10pm, so I am not sure why they even accept reservations that come in after this time. Look elsewhere.

One of the room has a distinctive smell. The manager is nice and moved me to the other room. Room is decent.

Room was well equipped! Lots of electric outlets including usb! Pet potty area including bags provided.

traveled down to Portland for a wedding & needed a place to stay near clackamas. Place was great! Nice renovated hotel. The room was nice and quiet, no homeless or sketch people around. I wish there was free breakfast, but luckily there was lots of surrounding stores! Nearby plaza and Walgreens. Understanding staff & if you have pets you can take up to two for no charge!😊

Checked in at 5am as we were coming from CA! I had to stand outside the whole time while checking in. The dudes working the lobby can be nicer, but you get what you pay for! Room was ok, nothing bad but nothing great. Bed was ok, no complaints. Bath towels were small and scratchy so maybe bring your own. Shower pressure was great. Kind of a shady area but again you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn’t stay here again overall. I’d rather pay little more for more of a comfortable stay in every aspect.

I was impressed how clean the room was. I have stayed in Motel 6"s before and they haven't been as clean as this one.

The guy at the front desk was hard to understand. The room smelled like a wet dog.

Walked into room and it had a cigarette smell , blankets had holes . Only gave 3 towels for a room of 4 people and when I asked for more the lady that runs the place said you need to come get them or send someone to get them. We had two rooms rented right next to each other for a family of 8 when she saw us walk by she immediately called my room screaming and very demanding saying there’s no visitors allowed and what not!! So I yelled right back for her to check her reservation bcz we had rented 2 rooms . She’s concern about visitors mind you THERE WAS TWO WORKING MEN DRESSED AS GIRLS WALKING AROUND THE HOTEL PARKING LOT OFFERING THEIR SERVICE * She should focus on on that rather than harassing her paying customers . Rooms were clean . Just smelly. Room was cleaned only ONE DAY FOR A 3 night stay.

Staff could’ve been a little bit friendlier at check-in with a welcome, but you get what you pay for. Quite noisy, and close to a lot of traffic. Restaurants and shopping are the short drive. Airport is about 20 minutes away.

Biggest problem was strong urine smell in the bathroom

This place in itself was fine, but there must be no insulation in the walls as the noise level was horrible. It sounded like people were stomping and crashing around and we had a terrible time getting to sleep 10 pm -12 midnight. I’m sure they weren’t aware how loud it seemed.

Motel GM Samir was very polite and Professional. He is very knowledgeable of State of Oregon famous tourist spots.

Very uncomfortable beds very loud property noise lotta drunks and very uncomfortable. Stay did not feel safe.

Bed had hair in it, pillows seemed to maybe be changed but bedsheets definitely not. Sheets were stained. You only get two towels. One per person for two days. I asked for more the next day and wouldn’t give me any anymore unless I gave them the two ones that we were using. The area was pretty quiet other than the traffic, but that’s to be expected where you’re located. And the outside of the property seem to be well maintained.

Hotel is clean and experienced no issues while staying for a few nights. Originally booked two nights through Expedia but needed to stay an extra night and the hotel clerk booked me an extra night while price matching expedia rate. Area felt safe and mostly quiet—as it is at the corner of a fairly busy street intersection. Loved the inexpensive and delicious food options nearby though!

Everything was okay, but did find an empty can of dog food left by the last occupant. It was behind the door the housekeeper missed it. It is okay as I put it in one of the garbage cans.

This is one of the nicer “cheap” hotels in the area. Rooms include a mini fridge, microwave, large modern TV, and a bathtub/shower combination. Our room was clean, smelled nice, and had no issues worth noting. Property is within walking distance to a number of amenities including a pharmacy, a grocery store, a gym, retail shopping, a number of restaurants including sit-down dining and fast food, and is on a frequent service bus line.

Best motel in this area! As two female friends coming to do stand-up comedy, We felt safe here. Beds are comfy and cush, plenty of hot water and room was quiet and clean. bring your own shampoo etc. Family owned and operated, so you know they care to make sure you are taken care of. A+

Better than expected for the area it is in. All the essentials with no frills. Big TV with lots of HBO channels. Microwave and fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking lot well lit and car felt safe. Any store you could want is up or down the road.

Another major disappointment was that the Motel did not serve any breakfast. Tourists almost always depend on the hotel to provide breakfast before starting the day for nearby attractions. Not having to find a breakfast place near by saves time and energy especially for families and allows them to maximize time spent in exploring the attractions in the city. Unfortunately that was not an option with this place so we had to spend additional time for breakfast elsewhere. The owner was kind enough and provided warm milk for kids when we asked about breakfast but I suppose it was an exception, not the norm. Lastly there is a cemetery just across the road which kind of spooked the kids.We adults didn't even notice until kids brought it up!

Honestly I used to live in the area so I thought it would be a little rundown but it was actually very clean and very well kept I will definitely recommend it. The only bad thing for me was there was no coffee maker ugh. And I drink my first cup of coffee at 3: 00am before work. Other than that it was great!! Thanks guys!

Stay was fine and room was clean. Hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating; cleaning staff was super nice. The only problem was that the TV did not work at all- it turned on but no channels, no response from the cable box and remote did not work besides control the volume. It was never resolved during my stay.

It was a nice place. Room was great though i only stayed long enough to take a shower and warm up some food. The motel manager was kind. She greated me with a smile and new her business. Upon leaving/checking out she was quick about checking the room so i could have my deposit back. Upon handing me the deposit back she smile and had to get back to what she was cooking. It smelled delicious and bet it was.

uncertain about safety in area

The front desk man, Samir was so awesome! Overall he made the stay good in our memory. My only drawback was the ice machine was broken during our stay. But Samir had ice on site to remedy this if needed.

The location was convenient to the people we were visiting, check-in was quick, everything in the room worked satisfactorily, and fresh towels and soap appeared without a fuss each day. The air conditioning was a bit noisy but held its own in the face of 100 degrees midday temps. Within a few blocks are a well-stocked supermarket, a food cart court, and an outdoor shopping mall.

Gentleman who checked me in was very nice, Clean room, overall better than anticipated, would book again.

Apparently recently renovated with firm bedding, a refrigerator/microwave unit and TV. Sparkling bathroom with tub. Plenty of parking. Close to restaurants. Owners at the reception desk were very helpful and professional. Great value for the price !!! Recommend. 👍

Great place to stay very easy to find. As it is an older building it might be difficult for light sleepers if the guests above and around your room walks loud. Other than that everything else is great.

It was great for the inexpensive price. The room was clean and tidy, almost spotless, only the bed sheets seemed old and a little tattered. The staff were attentive and dedicated, picking up cigarette butts in the parking lot. Great restaurants within walking distance. But the area of the city is not great for homelessness. One of the clerks was chasing a homeless man off the property when we came back last evening.

Once I brought this to their attention they addressed immediately and gave me the option of swapping it out or use of another room to accommodate. Pretty seamless, and everything else met the usual standard I’ve come to be used to here.
