Initial room wasn't wheelchair accessible like I booked. The receptionist was very accommodating and transferred my room. The website on booking.com is way off. I recommend calling the hotel directly. Website. The breakfast was horrible. Definitely nothing for young kids. Location was a pain to get into and the entrance to the hotel was confusing. No swimming pool on site either
- 3.5/5
The breakfast was available from 6am, which was especially good for me as I'm often awake by 4:30am and I love hotel waffles. The room itself was well-spaced with a personal microwave, refrigerator with small freezer pocket at the top, and a small coffee pot that can double as a hot-water maker for tea or ramen. Television was quite large. Using the controls on the TV itself allowed for HDMI connection or reading USBs to play saved movies or music. Directly in front of a Sam's Club is groceries are needed, plenty of restaurants around, and lots of gas stations. VERY easy access to downtown or the highway to pull in and out of town. The room needed more light. There were plenty of lights everywhere, but all were dim (I assume this was to encourage a good sleeping environment, but it outright needed strong light AT LEAST in the bathroom). My room in particular had a water situation caused by the room above (ceiling) and the tub wasn't cleaned well.

Roaches in bathroom. Toilet got clogged and they handed us the plunget
- 2/5
Roaches roaches roaches! I had to go buy roach spray to spray the bathroom and my luggage before I left. I asked for hangers and the guy at the front desk said “why? We don’t have closets”.

A comfortable room and bed. Pretty clean but lighting was dim, Happy overall for a short stop. Don’t count on a big breakfast- no hot foods are prepared and served, just packaged sandwiches to heat yourself, cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast, waffle maker, snd and a few oranges.

Great property
- 5/5
It was the perfect room for what I needed. It had great a/c which I was able to control, a small fridge and microwave and a comfortable bed. What more did I need! Breakfast was ok, and the front desk was very helpful.
- 5/5
Súper bueno. El trato atento. Y cómodo todo

Great place to stay the night. Decent breakfast was definitely a bonus!
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and very responsive to my questions.
- 5/5
Staff was polite and helpful, the room was clean and beautifully decorated, the complementary breakfast was good and the space clean. Staff constantly attended to the space ensuring its cleanliness and keeping the food/drink stocked. My visit was good
- 3/5
Was tired and could ude a refresh. I was a bit concerned when the person working the front desk would run to lock the lobby door when an unhoused person was walking close.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, room was cleN
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay the staff was really amazing and very kind soon as you walk in the door
- 4/5
Staff was polite and helpful
- 2/5
The pain on the bathroom ceiling was falling off and even though the room said no smoking it still smelled like smoke.
- 5/5
The area seemed nice, but it was really cold and there wasn't alot of people around.

1 star for the guy at the front desk- very kind attentive and respectful. But this place is a dump. Bad area, bum’s walking in and out, rusty dirty bathroom, dirty smudgy elevators. I couldn’t sleep here, I left the same day.
- 5/5
I had an amazing stay, my room nice and clean. The staff very friendly. Location was great.
- 3/5
The property seemed somewhat run down, clean but run down. Nothing fresh on the breakfast menu.
- 4/5
The room was clean and kept clean each day. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Location made access to my conference easy.
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful staff & management. Smiling. Genuinely caring. spotless rooms, quiet, no sound through the walls, or very little. Great location close to train station and 401 highway. I am planning another trip to Raleigh in the next few weeks & definitely will stay there again.
- 2/5
Parking was safe and super easy. The hallways and amd doors of the rooms were dirty and felt beat up a bit. There was an obvious space between door and frame the air / bugs / whatever could pass through and let light in. 2nd floor vending machine was almost insulting in how old it was. Shower curtain smelled a little moldy like it wasnt vented properly in bathroom.
- 4/5
Everything was great, no complaints
- 5/5
So glad I chose this quality Inn. The room was immaculate. The tub was spotless and toilet cleaned to my liking. The floors were clean of debris on carpet. The bed was nice and attractive, comfortable with excellent pillows pill. Everything worked as it should. Liked the sockets and USB port next to the bed. TV was nice size very clear. I would’ve stayed another night had I not had previous engagements scheduled! Very good job done. Kudos to staff. Will use this hotelagain for events.

Was very close to downtown, clean and friendly staff.
- 4/5
The Room Was An Amazing Size. However, The BATHROOM Was Small As Heck !!
- 4/5
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
I liked the property, stayed there for 6 nights and was a good experience.
- 3/5
Overall, it was ok, but a few minor annoyances. There were a lot of sirens at night and my window wouldn't shut all the way. The faucet in the tub kept dripping and the toaster in the lobby burned my toast.
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 5/5
Family friendly, clean room, check in staff was so friendly, only thing that bothered us was a homeless person begging for money outside but honestly that’s everywhere these days.
- 5/5
The only issue was it had a small parking lot but I noticed trucks with Trailers were parking in the SAMS CLUB parking lot that tied into the hotel parking lot. Breakfast was the same as other quality inn I have stayed at except they did have very good frozen breakfast sandwiches to put in microwave to heat and wished they all did this. Neighborhood was a little shady so be sure to lock up and if you’re like me, I carry.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and breakfast had a good selection.
- 1/5
Should be nice, but left much to be desired.
- 1/5
As we pulled in at 9pm, there was a man begging at the turn into Quality Inn. When we checked in we were told there wasn’t a working elevator. The entrance had an old smell and shabby appearance. In the room, there was also a bad smell and the room was hot and stuffy with no AC on. The bed spreads were stained. The chair in the room had a big stain. We decided we couldn’t stay here. We didn’t feel safe and the dirty, shabby appearance made the hotel beyond disappointing. We’re trying to get our money back for the second night.
- 2/5
At least I didn’t find bedbugs tho
- 1/5
The room had a really bad odor. It smelled like mildew and rotten food. We were too tired and it was too late in the night to complain. Room 313 smelled horrible.
- 4/5
Nice for the price!
- 4/5
Overall this was a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Just stayed for two nights. We just needed a place to sleep while we check out Raleigh. Everything was great from checking in to checking out. Would stay here again. The price was very affordable.
- 4/5
Just need a little of remodeling
- 4/5
Hotel was clean but bath fixtures were a bit worn. Air conditioner ran loud all night. Staff was excellent and responsive to our needs. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
- 5/5
Nice and clean, comfortable room and easy check in/out
- 4/5
Staff unfriendly. Nowhere to go to eat.
- 1/5
There was a weird smell and the neighborhood was awful and unsafe.
- 5/5
The staff during the night were amazing as we needed a room asap and we got in with my people during a convention in the area and they all deserve praises or a raise for how they treated us!
- 5/5
The set up of the room was nice and comfortable.
- 1/5
Very uniinviting
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and very affordable, with great and pleasant staff
- 4/5
Everything
- 2/5
We stayed here for one night and found a toenail on the floor in our room, room wasn’t clean (crumbs and stains everywhere), shower head had rust and gunk on it, and got harassed by a crackhead outside of the hotel in the parking lot. Not a good area, lady at the front desk and all staff were kind.
- 5/5
Fabulous staff. Very clean room. Comfy bed.
- 3/5
For our one night stay it was pretty decent. Front lady was very nice. The room was clean however we did see mold in bathroom celling. The area around hotel is not the best; many homeless around but parking lot and hotel was okay.
- 3/5
Be careful which room you get... some have wardrobes, other just 3 pegs, no hangers!! (I pushed to get a hanger, was offered room c hange after id unpacked... did get 3 but really only needed 1
- 1/5
Messed up booking.
- 1/5
The breakfast was horrible no meat or egg just waffle
- 5/5
Sometimes sketchy part of town, but this place is not. Highly recommend if visiting NCSU
- 1/5
They canceled my booking before I even got there and they said they called me and emailed me which was a lie. And I was left to find a room last minute during the most busiest weekend up there. I went from suppose to pay $255.00 for two nights, to having to pay $318.00 for one night at a room that was twenty minutes away from downtown.
- 5/5
it was amazing. I’ve went to the same hotel back to back for Dreamville Fest! It was so dope and it’s dope every time... thank you for the memories. I don’t know if I’ll ever get this hotel again because they’re going to stop Dreamville Fest but I heard they’re gonna start a new festival so I’ll definitely pick this hotel every time. Love the breakfast love the hospitality. Just love everything about it. For me, I’m not a complicated or pricey type of guy. It’s just a nice chill spot.
- 5/5
Love the breakfast and the comfy beds cable is good as well. Good channels
- 5/5
Super desk service! Really fast.
- 5/5
Very nice and polite staff!! I would recommend!!
- 1/5
The property is terrible, it has black mold everywhere, the first room was smelling really bad and the send one too
- 3/5
The room was dirty, cigarette burns on the mattress in our nonsmoking room, wallpaper was peeling, carpet stained, and the toilet ran all night. Refused to use shower because the tub was so gross. Hotel not in a great area- worried about my car all night. All that being said, we didn’t get bed bugs and it was cheap. Don’t expect anything nice, but it is a bed for a night.
- 5/5
It’s a very nice hotel, very respectful staff. I really enjoyed my experience.
- 5/5
This was a great choice for our 5 night stay, the only thing was the neighborhood, which looks shady, but was just fine and felt safe the whole time. Ignore the negative reviews, our stay was worth every penny in savings.
- 4/5
Other than the toilet running., my stay was good.
- 4/5
Right off the highway
- 2/5
Overall the entire place needs a huge upgrade. And maybe adding security guards for the poor folks at the front desk. The cops was called three times while we was there. Just to remove people from the lobby.
- 5/5
Good room for the price.
- 4/5
Breakfast was OK but could have had more variety. We'd stay there again if we were back in Raleigh
- 4/5
Clean and everyone was helpful
- 1/5
The bathrooms in both rooms were filthy. The air conditioning unit in one had black mold spots all over it and there was an open space on the side of the ac unit where the insulation was visible as well as a small hole where air from outside was seeping through.
- 5/5
I would not recommend walking from the hotel its very sketchy and make sure you lock your car doors cause you could get robbed or mugged.
- 3/5
Check in was simple and short the lady seemed a little annoyed because when i walked up she was outside putting things in her car and had to come in to service me. Walking in, it was clean and fairly modern. I was given a handicapped accessible room but I didnt request or need it. The room was ok, except the bathtub was dirty and even when I tried to clean it, the dirt would not come out. The staff said something about they are working on getting new bathrooms but offered another room, but by that time, I had already unpacked. Then the fitness room only had 3 pieces of equipment, the dispenser for the wipes to clean the machines was empty and the water cooler had no water not to mention the AC unit didnt work well so it was a sauna in there. Then the second day of my stay when i was leaving the fitness room I saw about 5 police cars in the parking lot talking to a man Insaw walking the halls. Then when i was leaving the lady at the front desk was talking with police. I dont know what was going on but I'm wasnt sure about my safety there after that.
- 5/5
The breakfast had many options, and they always have hot water for tea through the day.
- 4/5
Staff was fabulous, very kind and accomodating. But area feels unsafe.
- 5/5
Just the area around the hotel was not very safe.
- 5/5
A little old but immaculate
- 5/5
Excellent customer service and friendly
- 3/5
The room smells like water damage
- 3/5
FRONT DESK CLERK AMAZING
- 4/5
The property is remodeling so many beds and frames where outside. The stairs in the remodeling was always dirty. Rooms still need some bath door fixing. Bed was nice and area have a lot to offer near by. Food and gas was neer by too. Front desk was fine and the employees were nice.
- 2/5
Hotel must be under renovation because there is a huge pile of trash behind the building, blocking a large part of the parking lot and even blocking the fire exit. The room was ok, but the toilet was falling apart. The air conditioner barely worked and was very noisy. The remote control for the TV didn't work. Breakfast had egg and cheese sandwich to heat in microwave and they have a self serve waffle maker
- 1/5
The room was so disgusting, we left and went to another hotel. I would like a refund.
- 3/5
It was ok but they could have the plumbing work better than they have
- 4/5
There remodeling so parking is terrible. Bathroom was damaged. Asked the front desk clerk about a car double parked and he claim there was nothing he could do about it. Then I come down and he is asleep at the front desk
- 1/5
Very rough neighborhood, very dirty room and especially bathrooms. The lobby restroom did not get cleaned in the two days we stayed. Lyft driver who took us places told us to be very safe as the area was rough. The walls were very thin and could hear each room and the tvs. Don’t stay here.
- 5/5
Employees at the front desk were excellent! We checked in easily and let us know that we might want to leave early for our concert as the hotel was full.Checkinh out was easy. Sketchy area with Barb wire. Safe because of one way in a d out.
- 4/5
Staff is good and is location is perfect
- 1/5
The receptionist had a very bad attitude
- 1/5
Room was very small and dark, there were holes in the ceiling, and it is obvious the room was VERY old. Additionally, the carpet was very old and dirty, and felt sticky. The tub was very old, stained, disgusting, and the wall around it was molded and even had holes around it. The area was not safe at all! I would not recommend, will never stay here again.
- 2/5
The door keys took a long time to work. The AC made weird noises all the time, disturbing our sleep. Overall, it was not a good experience to stay here
- 3/5
The room needs big repairs, the faucet as soon as you open splash water everywhere and keeps dripping water all the time… the walls in the bathroom needs at least caulking to block the cracks. Amenities there was left overs from previous guest including soap shampoo and conditioner, who will use a soap bar after someone else has used it? I will think twice before making another reservation to this property
- 5/5
We are up here on business. The hotel manager Nijar was very nice helping us print some last minute documents. He was friendly and very polite!
- 3/5
Ok for the price, but car noise from road was constant and loud. Not a good sleeping hotel
- 2/5
I didn’t get the room I booked with Expedia. Also when I checked in I felt like the front desk clerk was rude and I really didn’t care for attitude.
- 2/5
I did not stay there. I canceled my reservation due to the condition of the rug and furniture and lightning in the room. I never signed in after seeing the room.
- 3/5
Also, the bathroom had rust eating through the paint on the door frame and the tub needed some attention also.
- 4/5
Room was adequate. Did not like the parking area. It was quiet despite its location
- 5/5
What about the disable people?
- 2/5
Adequate, with nice staff, but the place is very run-down and dingy
- 5/5
This was a great and cheap stay in Raleigh. Holly at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Close to downtown and many restaurants.
- 2/5
Probably the worst stay ever. front desk staff was kind, so I appreciate that. On the walk-in to my room, I was greeted by the odor of a high school locker room. Dirty toilet, ceiling sprinkler wrapped with toilet paper, and the shower was dirty. To top it off, there was a hole in the wall by the air conditioning unit that was stuffed with paper. Strange and disgusting experience. Would never recommend.
- 1/5
Thin walls and industrial area with unclean rooms led to a bad night
- 5/5
Over all a nice place and great price.
- 5/5
Cheap and close to downtown Raleigh. Clean and with decent amenities. Very short walk to route 7 bus stop into downtown.
- 3/5
The worse part was that I could hear the man in the room behind mine yelling at his paid company for the evening and it made me very nervous. Not the fault of mgmt of course.
- 5/5
The rooms could be updated a bit. But the staff was great and helpful as well as the breakfast was simple and fresh.
- 4/5
We had a great handicapped access room but we could have used more lighting
- 5/5
I've been there twice I would go back
- 1/5
I called the front desk to let them know I might arrive late out of courtesy and a gentleman picked up the phone and was extremely offensive. I will never book that hotel again because of the front desk man that was being absolutely inappropriate. His exact words were “this is a hotel you can’t just call and say whatever you want”. That man does not deserve to work at a reception desk!!!!
- 1/5
Vending machine took my 5 and would not give me my change for a 1.50 soda the food was offered to us was bad the pillows on our bed was looking like for a couch
- 5/5
Everything is good except the 1 ice machine
- 1/5
The ceiling had a leak, the smoke detector was removed, the tub was falling apart, the halls smell like weed, the stairway beside the room has soo many cob webs, and there is a homeless encampment across the street. I have video and pics.
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
Not a bad place. Not downtown, despite the name, but not too far away. Room was fine. Staff was hot or miss, the check-in clerk was clearly in the wrong job. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a Quality Inn - cold cereal, toast, a pre-packaged sandwich, and the ever-present waffle-maker. No safe in room. Comfy bed. Bathroom is fine. Good location for getting around the area.
- 5/5
Very close to the Raleigh Convention Center; literally one right turn to leave the hotel and one right turn into the convention parking
- 5/5
This is truly a nice hotel. The management is helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and the housekeepers are very friendly.
- 5/5
Checkin was quick with a friendly employee. We didn’t use any of the facilities. It was an affordable last minute trip to go to a concert and we were pleased with the our choice. Room was clean
- 3/5
The key machine was broken and you had to wait for the attendant to let me in my room
- 3/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was as expected. Good area and closeness to Sams was a plus. My issue were with sheets on my bed-hairs and possibly crumbs-and the mattress for the fold out couch. The room number is 300. Do NOT plan to use as a bed. Mattress was flipped to spring side up to hide stains-one huge stain looked like blood. I understand that things happen and maybe the hotel is unaware. Theyre aware now. I left the bed down so someone would have to see what a horrible thing. Please replace.
- 2/5
The staff at the front desk were very nice and professional. Check in was quick and easy. However the hotel needs work. It’s dirty, rusty, and falling apart. The road traffic noise is so loud it sounded like the windows were open. Wouldn’t return
- 3/5
The front desk lady was sweet who checked me in. The room was normal. Tv sound didn’t work on some channels. Roach came running out of the shower but we just sent him back with some water. Some lady in the room next door was yelling or crying throughout the night. They have a trash can by the elevators not a pleasant smell. I say for one night it is fine not somehwere I would stay for multiple nights.
- 2/5
There was no second lock on door. Someone had removed it and it was never replaced. At about 1 am someone started yelling and fighting. This went on til about 3. I felt so unsafe. I almost called the police. Hotel did nothing about it. Very run down. Lots of spots of rust and mold. Clean but very deteriorated.
- 3/5
Good enough for a one night stay. Not in downtown although stated as it is...
