Nothing We did not stay. They didn’t have any rooms available
- 1.5/5
The price was excellent. I did like that they had lots of cameras around the hotel. I can tell they spent money into the hotel but I wouldn't feel safe with my wife and daughter being there. I traveled alone so it didn't bother me as much. I didn't like the bed, it felt like I was sinking in it. Im not saying it wasn't clean but it appeared to be dirty looking.. The vent in the bathroom wasn't installed properly, you could look in and see the ventilation hose. I was at the point I would rather spend the extra money on another hotel. I used my military blanket to lay on.

Nothing Too many homeless people; trying to get in peoples cars and asking for money. Rooms were nasty. No new towels were provided. Over priced. The front desk try to charge me twice saying i didn’t paid until i pulled it up on booking app. Stairs are in bad shapes. My fiance fell down them. Door didn’t have a lock on it or shut all the way. There were cigarettes burns everywhere and hair everywhere.

Red roof inns can be hit or miss. But dog owners love them because of their pet policy. I have stayed at 100 Red Roof Inns. I can count the ones that I would stay again on one hand. This one was clean and had a comfy bed. The tv and toilet worked. And the staff was great! I always get nervous for my car in parking lots that have a lot of day and night activity. But you can request to park right in front of your room, and the area is well lit. I never felt unsafe.
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean room but sketchy location
- 3/5
The external areas were stinky but inside the room all were very clean and comfortable. I recommend that if you only need to sleep and rest.
- 0.5/5
Horrible experience. Management failed to provide duty of care. Unsafe conditions..
- 3/5
Alot of loitering in the area
- 5/5
The booking fare was justified. The room was cleaned with effort. The people who work here are pleasant. The location was perfect distance from gas station..and restaurant. all walking distance making it an ideal location for future bookings. room was in good shape looks like new renovated modern style rooms

Very unsafe…police patrolling the parking lot if that tells you anything. Lock on door wouldn’t latch.
- 4.5/5
staff was polite and was quick check inn
- 3/5
It was fine, no different from any other inn. The blankets were extremely thin and made of plastic. It would’ve been better to use the towels honestly.
- 4/5

You basically get what paid for.. door lock malfunctioned, TV had spots while watching, bathroom is extremely small
- 5/5
They had roaches but it was clean and quiet far as people hanging outside at night and in the daytime
- 3/5
Did not feel safe in the area and I was all the way in the corner on the first floor which I felt unsafe.
- 1/5
Homelessness and drug use in the premises

Horrible
- 3/5
The inside of the room was surprisingly DECENT. Very clean and comfortable. Will I book again? NO 😃
- 1/5
Would not reccomment if you have children
- 1/5
Worse place ever and filthy
- 2/5
I was in the area working. Some of the staff hang out with a pimp living on the 3rd floor. Many drug transactions in the parking lot. Hookers and drug addicts are banging on doors and yelling in the late night hours. Staff throw laundry off the upper floors to a bin on the ground level. So blankets and whatnot may come whipping down without warning. Police are often called.
- 1/5
Questionable behavior from the staff after reporting that my light fixture popped into the room and it took the entire week for them to fix it, as well as the area is filled with a lot of hobos and drug dealers
- 2/5
The room was disgusting. The floors and walls were dirty. The sheets did not seem clean. The extra safety lock in the inside of room was broken, there was no phone in room, the tv had multiple dot lights when turned on, hard to watch anything. The hotel was in poor shape. I felt unsafe snd dirty. I have pictures and i reported it all to front desk but was told a manager would call. But still hasn't after a week
- 5/5
Staff was nice.
- 3/5
There was a lot of people sitting outside of their room, in the corridor. That sorta gives off the wrong vibe. No elevator.. & the TV didn't even work in my room #439
- 4/5
Nice
- 4/5
have stayed a total of about 4 times, since being renovated as well. decent room. fridge and microwave. door was a lil hard to close. would have been a 5 if it wasnt for this.
- 3/5
They also have an elevator but it was dirty and smelled. Not to mention the corridor smelled of marijuana. The room was decent but I was missing a vanity mirror, the TV had 8 dots in the led screen and the door was questionable. I wouldn’t stay there again.
- 5/5
Service Manager, Staff, enemities & Location was Ideal,—I will be back!
- 5/5
I love how wonderful the staff is as well as price and location. Everything about my stay has been amazing. i wish they had pool.Thank you guys.
- 5/5
Room was as pictured smelled nice and clean! Price was good too!
- 3/5
I have stayed at Red Roofs where they provide more amenities. The room itself has been redone. I got a kitchen, but I would’ve had to buy an induction pot set for $80 so I ended up just cooking my eggs in the microwave. There was a sheet & a very thin sheet, like bed covering nothing like a blanket.( I had read that)The bed was very comfy The pillows were very comfortable. They were clean enough. One did have a cigarette burn, but I don’t expect that they catch that all the time the room itself was clean. The bathroom was renovated. You can tell that the walls were still the old ones. They did not redo, It had a fridge or microwave working sink and odd layout where there was no mirror anywhere in the bathroom just a large mirror in the corner of the room, there was a table with two chairs. The TV had some bright lights bulbs coming out of it. It may have been slightly broken. I overlooked that The elevator looked a little old and dirty. You need a key card to go up. There were people smoking marijuana at different times and I suspect that people are either living there long-term or possibly staying there. You could see people hanging out at night during the work week. Mon-Thur there were a lot of work vans. I had a 6 day stay and I checked out a day early because I had alternative lodging as a woman by myself the room s was in the back of the hotel, although they do have cameras. I did not feel calm going up Cheap but not again. I am not sure how anyone gave this place a 10!

We booked a stay 6/20/25, checking out 6/23/25 through Expedia. The morning of 6/21/25, we called the front desk and let them know the door was extremely difficult to open and close, and they said they would let maintenance know(we have two young children and this was not just a inconvenience but a safety issue). We also requested housekeeping and was told they do housekeeping everyday so we were all set. Also requested extra towels and washcloths,as there wasn't enough for the 4 people (all were on the reservation) in the room. When we came back the night of 6/21, we discovered that none of the issues brought up to the front desk were taken care of. The door was still extremely hard to open and close, room wasn't clean, no clean towels. Went to front desk and the woman at the front desk said there was no maintenance, no housekeeping but she could give us a few towels after we bring the dirty ones( one of the clean ones she gave was dirty). We left and went to another hotel because of the door issue, and only stayed 1 of the 3 nights. Requested a refund for the 2 nights we didn't stay and they refused because they claimed we didn't bring up issues(this is a lie, as we brought up the morning of 6/21). Then they tried say ok then it's denied because they offered another room(another lie, we were not).
- 1/5
The area is not safe. As soon as I walked in to check in there was a crackhead at the front desk. I did not feel comfortable staying there as a woman traveling alone with my child
- 1/5
Rude staff
- 3/5
The area seemed like it wasn't the best part of town. We heard sirens all night long (though there is a hospital not too far away). I did see bugs in the bathroom. And on one of the beds, one of the pillow cases was definitely dirty and the sheets were not the cleanest. The blankets were extremely thin, if you could even call it a blanket.
- 2/5
The room was no smoking and smell like someone was smoking in the room
- 5/5
Nice and quiet hotel
- 1/5
dint like the stay
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was well-maintained, and everything felt fresh and inviting
- 4/5
It was a very good place
- 5/5
The room and facilities were very clean, and the front desk service was excellent. I had a food delivery arrive before I got there, and the staff kindly held it for me until I checked in. Really appreciated the helpful and accommodating service!
- 5/5
The rooms are consistently clean, and now they’re doing some renovations that look amazing. The new color schemes are really nice, and they’re switching out the old carpets for hardwood-style vinyl flooring—no more gross carpets, which is a big win. On our last visit, the AC wasn’t working too well the first night. I called the front desk, and maintenance came right away. Turns out it was freezing up, so the guy went and grabbed a new unit and replaced it right then and there. Problem solved. Highly recommend this spot—it’s easily one of the best Red Roof Inns I’ve stayed at.
- 5/5
Had a great 7-day stay during a business trip to Sanford Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and a great location near restaurant. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Good value for the price. Recently remodeled rooms look great and feel comfortable. Location is convenient—within walking distance to food spots. Check-in area can get a bit crowded. Felt safe, and traffic wasn’t bad. Bonus: USB outlets came in handy when I forgot my charger.
- 5/5
like newly renovated room , allow pets for free

The service to get your money back was very blow but the service of the staff was very appreciative

Quite and clean riim
- 4/5
The room was in a location that was close to where we were going to be. The deposit policy differs from what we were told. But overall it was a decent stay.
- 1/5
I had to pay for 2 rooms, even though I only needed one. I feel as if I should be refunded for the first room.
- 3/5
The check in was easy.. I still have yet to receive my deposit back. One of the beds had dirty stained sheets, I couldn’t get any fresh ones until the next day. We stayed Thursday night - Monday morning and no one came to clean. We got towels and fresh blankets after asking multiple times. Parking was convenient for our visit and it was close to where we had to go so it was an easy pick but will not be staying here again.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel over a month in advance and was told 3 hours before check in that my reservation was cancelled due to not putting down a deposit despite my contract stating that no payment was due until arrival at the property. Unreliable, rude, and inconsiderate
- 1/5
I had reserved a non smoking room. Upon arrival, the room wreaked of smoke. All the company would do is spray some air freshener in the room. Then they gave me a hard time about refunding my reservation. The area did not feel safe at all either. I would have had a hard time even trying to sleep for not feeling safe. I strongly urge people to not stay at this hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was unique about this property
- 1/5
The room was not ready at 5:30. We were told they’d be ready at 3 PM. When we arrived. We had to wait 45 minutes to check-in. Our rooms were not even clean when we were let into the room very sketchy neighborhood and very drug-infested. I did not even feel comfortable, leaving my room without my husband. I did not suggest anyone staying at this property.
- 1/5
The bathroom door couldn’t close. One of the beds was so uncomfortable
- 2/5
The place was dirty, always loud people around smoking pot.
- 4/5
The room price was great. The door was a little tricky.
- 3/5
It was my birthday weekend. Had an issue with connecting HMDI and getting towels and rags.
- 5/5
Would stay again and certainly recommend
- 1/5
Checked in and as soon as we get our stuff in the room immediately after seen roaches crawling from behind the desk and bed frames, checked out immediately after and am currently fighting to get a refund as we were not expecting to walk into a roach infested hotel. Terrible service so far if I could give a 0 rating I would hopefully hotels.com makes this right , they have been the only ones thus far being understanding and even put $30 in one key credit that same night that we used toward another hotel after spending $150 for red roof had our weekend cut short and disrupted. Extremely upset never again
