    The Manager Gloria, is Awesome and Amazing! She goes above & beyond for the tenants and guests here at Extended Stay! The employees are very respectful and polite as well! You can tell they are trained properly in customer service! Rooms are clean and sanitary for the price compared to a lot of other places I’ve stayed! All in all this place is Great! N/A

    Felt like home The 100$ deposits, apparently when you booked through a third-party, you have to have a due deposit for every new extended reservation because I didn’t know when I was getting more vouchers I would only make a reservation for like a week at a time the refunds don’t get deposited right away. It takes like three days.

    The room was clean as it could be. It was in big need for maintenance. Walla were dirty. Tub had repaired spots and the overflow cover was handing by a screw. The light fixtures were old and needed cleaning. Broken furnishings. The kitchen was nice but empty of items. I later found the brochure that said you can ask for kitchen items in the office. The kitchen light switch didn’t work very well… The garbage in the back was overflowing into the parking lot where our room was. No hairdryer. But they did have iron & ironing board. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was oatmeal and muffins. Coffee wasn’t out at 8:00.

    The double bed room I reserved was not available, even though I called the property on the day of check in to confirm.     This seems to be a hotel with fairly new, young managers trying to make it work. But the task may be overwhelming...our room had a leaky faucet, absolutely nothing in the way of amenities except the giest bar of soap (shampoo is on request at the front desk), and we killed the cockroach that crawled out from behind the picture on the wall.

    I had booked the property late because my son and I had gotten off to a late start after hos car broke down. Upon arrival, Jessica refused to let us check in because it was after midnight and said they had already charged us a “no show” fee and we weren’t allowed to stay there. I was really upset and asked if the room was still available. She said it was but wouldn’t let us check in. We were turned away in the middle of the night, charged for the room and left stranded trying to find something else. On top of that, she was really rude. It has low ratings for a reason and I will never book with them again.

    Retract the good reviews I left. Ashley changed her tune when corporate and took things away from us that she allowed made us feel stupid and on top of that entered my room without permission while I was at a job interview. Massive violation of privacy and safety. I filed and complaint. Damn straight I did. She’s an awful person. Don’t go here. Plus all the heroine addicts living month to month. Yuck.

    The rooms were fine, big enough and with a kitchen. Our double queen bed room that I booked online wasn’t available anymore but they got us an extra room for no additional cost except the $100 deposit. The area is a little loud with traffic and there was what appeared to be a person living in a trailer in the parking lot that had a dog, which barked occasionally when someone went by.

    Our King room was not ready yet when we tried to check in at 2:30pm. I checked the check-in time and it was 3pm, so I understand we had arrived early. I was told I could downgrade to a queen room that was available immediately for a discounted rate and ended up being charge the same price for the King room we had reserved. The heater took 45 minutes to turn on and the room was not a suite. It was a small queen room with a kitchenette. There was paint flaking throughout the room and it did not look well kept at all.     I have stayed at this hotel 5 times in 2 months. This type of customer service is sloppy and dishonest. When you tell a guest that you will correct a charge that the hotel is responsible for, then don’t bother to follow through, you create mistrust.This is poor accountability. My previous review of Extended Stay was very positive. But they have destroyed my trust and lost a loyal guest. As have Hotels.com. A guest should not be charged double, then forced to prove and defend the hotel’s mistake. I am now at the mercy of Extended Stay America to ensure return of $200. Not addressing this is stealing.

    Room was great. Front desk staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Because I travel for work, I find Extended Stay to be a better alternative to traditional hotel rooms. Having a kitchen and the ability to prepare meals helps me control costs. The front desk staff provided all the kitchen basics I needed to make healthy meals. There are laundry facilities located on premises which was also very helpful. Extended Stay will be my go to for longer work travel. Feels more like home than a hotel.

    No pillows in the room. Someone broke in at 3.30 am in the hotel and set the fire alarm which went on ringing for next 30 minutes. Very poor breakfast given in the morning.

    If I could give this place less stars I would, if your definition of breakfast is muffins and nutrigrain bars with no options for any kind of Protien, juice or punch then you’ll like the breakfast here lol. The bathroom was dirty and had dirt and hair on the shower floors and walls, a left over bar of soap in the top right corner of the shower from the guest before us, the floor around my bed was dirty and seemed to have illegal substances left over on it as well. The top lock on my door was broken and wouldn’t lock all the way, the instructions in the kitchen say to open your window or windows when cooking but you can’t even open them half way and they don’t stay open when you do open them. The fire alarm got set off by another guest for a very long period of time at 2 am and the fire department came only to leave in 3 minutes, and homeless people explore the property freely. You can find the same thing for much cheaper or find much better things for the same price you can truly tell this is a hotel that just doesn’t care and has employees who do not care

    Parking is ample. Area seems to attract some homeless. Thin walls between rooms. All the doors in the dresser, kitchen cabinets all left open on arrival. Opened soap in the bathroom (cleaning overlooked). No pans or utensils etc even though it’s got a full kitchen. Check in hostess was nice and friendly but didn’t know how the internet worked / password. Wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed just wouldn’t choose to stay again

    Wasn’t happy at all we ask for a nonsmoking room the restroom counter had cigarette burns . First morning found died roaches on the floor . Front desk no one is ever there only a sign saying they’ll be back . Every time I go up had to wait 30mins or more for someone to show up . I told them about the bugs they act surprise . When we check out was told won’t get our deposit back til they check room for any damages. Everything in that room looked if a dog bite all the furniture.     We ask for a room that didn’t smell like cigarettes. In the restroom the counter had cigarette burn marks all over. First morning found two dead roaches on the floor I told the front office she was surprised . You can see out the bottom of the front door. Every time I went to the front office had to wait at least 30 minutes there was no one upfront, except a sign saying I’ll be right back. Some of the door looks of they were kick in room 139 . They’re so picky when we checked out. Was told we’ll get our deposit back in 30 days after they go through the whole room, look for any damage. All the furniture looked like it was bitten up by some dog. I took pictures of everything . Blanket look if they were washed with no soap .

    We checked in around 3pm and we were told that we were not in their system but she made a way and we went to our room. - 337. The carpet had so much stains on it- name it - coffee , shoe marks, white spots and one part by the table had a massive red soda spillage! The faucet in the kitchen area was leaking and no matter how much you tighten it - nothing happened. The sheets smelled bad, as if someone had just slept on it! The worst part was the bathroom - the sink was dirty and stained as well. The bathtub was the ultimate worst - it had black stains all over it!! It wasn’t just a spot but it was scattered all over the tub itself. We stayed a good 1hr. and got out. We checked out - handed the keys to the front desk and the lady there apologized - without us having to tell her why we are leaving asap. She knew right away how nasty and disgusting the room was !

    We booked a two room suite through Expedia. When I got here they said did you book 2 rooms and I said no. And they said oh if you book through Expedia and you booked a room with two beds and we don’t have one we give you two rooms. Which didn’t work for me I was with my daughter. They also told me that there was a couch in the room with the bed and that they could bring me blankets and a pillow. When we got into the room, there was just a chair and a bed no pull out couch. The bathroom sink had some type of sticky substance on the counter, which I had to clean off. Only good thing was that the person at the front desk was really nice. Super disappointed not worth the money I paid.

    When I got to the office it said out to lunch I heard people talking in the background I said hello I was actually waiting there for 10 minutes with nobody coming out to help me I proceeded to wait and then went outside and came back inside and the receptionist was there she said I’m on my lunch. You bothered me. You interrupted my lunch. She was so rude. I never experienced this much rudeness in my whole entire life. from someone that needs to be professional. like a proceeded to tell the lady because she says I was yelling. I told her I was not yelling. I was just saying hello is anybody here? She said that’s yelling and I’m on my lunch. I told her and close the door lock it.     The staff made check out easy but our room smelled like smoke as soon as I walked in. The floor was super dirty and the bathroom sink had a leak. The area around the staircase had litter and it was generally not a clean appearance in the parking lot. In a pinch this place is “okay” but I wouldn’t stay here again. Also the beds were bad.

    During my 3 night stay I saw three rooms, and they all had issues. 1st room had a very potent casino smoke smell and a very loud beeping smoke detector. Upon telling the receptionist she moved me to a different room directly under the previous room. That room also smelled very strongly like a casino and I could still hear the beeping from the room upstairs although the sound was diminished. I ended up turning the AC on, opening the windows and turning the stove vent all on and leaving them on to try and circulate some non smoky air inside the room. Due to the smokiness and my asthma I ended up asking for a different room for my final night. The 3rd room was on the front of the building and while the smoky smell was significantly better it was musky smelling (the stove vent and AC and bathroom fan helped clear this up a bit). In addition the hotels claims it has a fully stocked kitchen, to get this you have to set up a kitchen plan with the staff to get the items you need. I’m disappointed a “nonsmoking” hotel has such a problem with smoky rooms. During my stay I saw plenty of people smoking directly outside of their rooms (mainly on the backside of the hotel). If you are sensitive to smoky smells I don’t recommend staying here, but if you have to, I’d ask for a room in the front of the hotel and keep your fingers crossed.

    Air condition wasn’t work properly heat was 204, shower tub was clouded and there is no bottle water even for sale, you can see cockroaches.

    I really tried to work with staff on issues with the room. I went to wash my hands in the sink and water was pouring out of the p-trap. The AC was broke and it was miserably hot in the room. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. I spoke to the clerk who offered to get me another room the night I checked but it was so late that night, I offered to come back the next day for it. When I came back, she rescinded the offer and told me to contact Expedia for a refund even though I just paid the property at check in. There was trash in the stairways. There were apparent hookers hanging around the property and I was worried my work truck was going to get broken into. It is the second time I stayed there out of convenient commute to my work project. I do not recommend this establishment for anyone.

    Staff was not very nice. Room smelled faintly of mildew. Tub didn’t drain while showering. There were oily handprints left on the headboard and wall above the bed.

    How horrible! Really wish I could get a refund. I was in room 323, and I lost count how many times i had to call security just to take a short nap. Evil spirits will be corrupt around you, so watch your ac vent if its on, and be extremely alert. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN OR SENIORS OR DISSABILITIES PEOPLE!!! BRING A WEAPON!! The person next door was listening by the wall, and punching the walls when i tried to sleep, but then denied it whe confronted. I regret not just staying in actual Sac because might as well, this place needs to be shut down. Wayyy too weak of security and management!

    Lady at the front desk was very nice, even after I checked into my room and went upstairs only to see a disgusting amount of roaches. I was grossed out when I saw really tiny ones crawling everywhere because that meant I was walking on them and didn’t notice, what an awful feeling knowing that how dirty that place was and they would let someone sleep there. What if there were children or a family using that place. Shame on your facility to allow it to get that bad. As soon as I came downstairs 20 minutes after checking in to tell the front desk I could not stay there, she just asked me “it’s that bad?” Like she almost expected it. She was super nice to me and told me to have Expedia call and we would make sure I got a refund. But still … yuck!

    The lobby smelled like marijuana, the elevator smelled like urine, I couldn't put my finger on the smell of the room. The room was dingy, there were hairs all around the bathroom sink, towels and bedding were stained, it just was not a pleasant experience.

    The bed was small. Only 2 double beds. Need to uograde it to queen bed. The receptionist was insisting that double bed us bigger than the queen bed. The breakfast on tge go was bad. No coffee creamer fir the coffee, has only 2 small cupcakes left & snack bars for 4 pax.

    It wasn’t so good although the room was nice, I didn’t mind that. But there were a lot of people making noise all hours if the night. Working on there car, all doors open throughout the night. People looked like they did drugs… we felt a little uneasy with our rental outside . We had to call the front because security wasn’t around.

    Checkin was easy and staff was very courteous and polite. There were a couple issues with the furniture and stove that I’ll bring to their attention but we’re only staying a night. Ran into a couple longer term guests while heading to the room and they were pleasant. It’s been fairly quiet too.

    When we arrived at the door to our room it was struck closed. My husband had to lean hard into it to open it. Equally difficult to close it and lock it. Breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal, yuck. To top off our stay, we found a bed bug running across the floor by our bed on our 2nd day! We checked out as soon as we could get our stuff out and did not stay for our full stay. I told the person at the desk why we were checking out early and she said to have hotels.com contact them and they would issue a refund. I did, and they refused to issue a refund. Never again will I stay at en extended stay hotel.

    Open the door and theres a thick smoke smell to the room even though the room says it's no smoking. Turn on the bathroom light and felt like the vents were releasing the smoke smell. Opened the windows and housekeeping would pass by and creepily look in while passing. Kitchen is basic, microwave is old, the button the stove was broke and shows the dirt in the button. Def didn't want to use. The cabinet that the TV was on was dusty and I had to wipe down myself. Furniture is ripped. Watered down the shower before entering to reveal a layer of dust and yellow crust go down the drain. Bed and sheets were clean at least. Stray cats on property, dead mouse in the hallway. Pet relief area was patches of dirt, no grass Park style bench and table in one of the parking spots in the back. At night, random people in the parking lot?

    Terrible. Extended Stay America did not honor the reservation. They just said that they are doing renovations. And did not have the rooms to give out. How hard is it to notify the customer that rooms are not available. The rooms have been booked in advance for a month.

    Room was booked as non smoking -it reaked of cigarettes, burns on the counters, fire alarm chirping all day and night, looked like someone cut their hair in the walkway, drug use all around the building and to top it off one of the rooms had a coroner seal sticker on it. Extremely disappointing hotel. Their grab and go breakfast was packaged muffins and packages of instant coffee and a hot water container. I will never stay there again and will warn other travelers not to stay there.

    We were looking for an economical place to spend one night near Sacramento, and found this Extended Stay Inn. The staff at check-in was friendly and professional. Room was fine - not fancy, but clean. There was a McDonald's and some other restaurants only a few steps away. We never felt threatened or unsafe, but there were some people hanging out late night / early morning in the McDonald's lot.

    This was one of the worst places I've stayed. We only stayed there because I have had decent experiences at Extended Stays. There were roaches in the room and dead flys. The floor was filthy. There were no cups or anything to be able to use the kitchenette (it is an extended stay). There were no plastic cups to use when you brush your teeth, no coffee maker - nothing. Had no machine to get ice. Asked for a hair dryer to use (listed as available at desk) - no nothing. At this point I don't trust staying anywhere in the Sac. area

    First off, I RARELY leave reviews. I usually only leave reviews for really GOOD customer service or really BAD. Unfortunately, this is a really BAD experience that I had. I I pre paid for a room via Expedia. Online, it’s said check in ends at midnight. As I was driving in from out of town, I called the hotel around 11:30pm to confirm if check in ends at midnight. I talk to a male and ask him what time check in ends. He is immediately worked up and states all the rooms are booked. I explained to him that I had already paid for a room. He responds with, “I just started my shift, you’re gonna have to call back tomorrow to speak to a supervisor.” I then ask him for his name and the next thing I hear is the line drop. This man hung up on me and I was left without a place to sleep for the night.

    Room was pretty clean so that was a plus. Front desk lady was not the nicest person in the world either. There's also no coffee maker, blow dryer, shampoo/conditioner, or anything you needed for a kitchen in the room. You'd have to ask them for some of those things but there was NEVER someone in the checkin/out area past 5.

    Do not stay at this location. As we were waiting to get checked in another lady came in and complained that she was given the key to a unit that was already occupied. As she opened the door there was a man inside the room with only a towel on. The place was smelly and definitely felt unsafe.
