I didn't appreciate the rule about not being able to request towels on the second day. I was told upon check in that if I needed extra towels I had to request them on day one. How is a guest supposed to know if they need extra towels? I request them when I need them. Also, the pool was way too small. I also didn't like that the curtain didn't extend across the window. If I can see the cars outside through the sheer curtain, then they can see me especially when the lights are on in the room at night. The street lights illuminated the room making it difficult to sleep. All rooms need full coverage curtains in the window.

I didn’t like that we were in a handicap room. I felt like it should’ve been a shower head coming out the wall.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because there was a refrigerator in the room, let the listing. We brought sodas and waters with us and opened the fridge to find it was very warm. After making sure it was plugged in, we said something to the gentleman at the desk on our way out. I told him our refrigerator wasn’t working. He stood there frozen looking at me like I was crazy and said didn’t try the switch inside? I said no we didn’t know there was one. He said you have to hit the switch but it’s not a refrigerator, just a cooler and it cools for two hours. That’s not even a little bit helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable as were the pillows. Shower floor was very slippery. Other than these things, it served our purpose as a place to spend the night a few nights while visiting our son.

Fairfield Hotels made a poor choice in purchasing ECO-REFRIGERATORS. These shut down after a few hours and you must reset them to again power on. Our refrigerator smelled and never cooled our food. Even though we turned it on often...

The breakfast was just ok. Had to ask for 1/2 and 1/2 at the coffee bar. The person in charge of the breakfast got it. The location of the hotel was great. The girl at the desk gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The door to the shower was installed backwards. It was extremely difficult to open it from the inside of the shower. The shower head did not work very well. We were in room 302.

The breakfast was okay for free breakfast, a good variety of items to choose from. Well stocked. The time of the breakfast was ideal. The temperature could be a bit warmer. The beverages included in the breakfast were okay as well. The complimentary water with lemon and lime helps! Rooms could be a bit larger.

I arrived at the property 4:30 pm room was not ready, once I made it to room 328 dog poop was discovered, in room with an odor I was told no more rooms were available. The worst experience ever.

The Fairfield Inn was very clean and organized. I was greeted promly and politely and had no issue checking in. The room was perfect for my night or 2 stay. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as some places are not as good with hot food options and variety. I highly recommend this place to lay your head anytime you are in the area. It’s directly off 95 Richmond Hill GA.

Shower not up to par

Hotel and room are clean. Staff was competent and friendly. Would definitely stay again in future if needed. Right off of exit on I95 just south of Savannah.

When talking to the front desk they told me “you should have told us” I explained that the person on staff when we checked in told me that our room (212] was the only one left. Apparently that was not true. All in all. A terrible stay. They would not offer a refund or and partial refund.

Our room needed blackout curtains. We had a terrible night sleep due to all the light coming into the room.

Ac was on when we arrived in 37 degree weather, took a while to figure out why the room was so cold, then the heat pump thermostat didn’t work: setting 60 was heading north of 75 when we figured out to leave the fan on at all times and then the thermostat seemed close to reality, so the 60 setting was then way too cold. With a room oscillating was a bad night sleep and management does nothing, didn’t listen to this story and then asked why we didn’t ask for a new room, as if I hadn’t just finished telling them it took 11pm—5am to figure that all out. They made no concessions.

The room had a terrible smell.. thankfully we had some air freshener spray. The room was okay as far as being clean. Wall paper in the bathroom had been half way repaired from previous damage. I would not stay here again. My previous experiences with Fairfield Suites has been positive in all aspects.

Room not clean, dust and dirt in corners of the carpeting. The mattress had stains on it, bedding not fresh, the bathroom had dirt and rust on the toilet paper holders and around the top of the under counter sink and no seal on lotion. Bathroom door damaged, faucet loose.Very disappointing. We booked here because of positive reviews. Will go back to our usual choice next time. We were too tired from traveling to make a complaint. Put towels on the bedding. Stay at your own risk.

Our room was very clean, and everything worked. We even had to run the heat with the cold snap outside. Breakfast was good, and checkout was fast and easy.

As with almost all Marriotts, the building, grounds, staff, and room were more than adequate. I always know that I'll get my money's worth at a Marriott property.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Overall it was a great stay. We were given an accessible room, though not specifically requested, and the shower was weird and hard to use without water running out all over the bathroom floor because the shower curtain didn't go all the way to the floor so water just splattered everywhere. Also the area to hang clothes was super short, and I had a long dress to hang, and nowhere to hang it. The detergent used for the sheets was strong smelling and gave us a slight headache and caused some congestion. We're used to hotels that use hypoallergenic or unscented detergents, so that was tricky, but we knew it was a risk when we decided to try somewhere new. Everything else was comfortable and the cleanliness was great.

The TV in the room adjacent to the bedroom came on in the middle of the night! Some of the USB outlets were damaged and didn’t work. The front counter staff was not attentive at times.

This hotel was super clean. There were no odors whatsoever, even though it is dog friendly and we have a dog. Most of the staff were amazingly friendly, and the condition of the room was immaculate.

We liked this property. The only recommendation is to make sure the key opens the hotel room door so that it doesn't require an additional trip to the front desk to ensure the key is working properly. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The front desk guy was professional and helpful, and refunded our stay without much pushback. He did his job well, explored other options first, such as if we would just like to switch to another room, etc, without being overly pushy or making it frustrating, as tends to be the case with asking for a refund. So he specifically gets a review of 10/10. But every other aspect of this hotel gets 0 out of 10. Besides the roaches, the toilet was dirty when we arrived with urine on the underside of the seat and crap marks in the bowl. The toilet paper was not new, but a half-used roll. The sheets bed sheets were not very clean, crumpled and seemed to be unwashed. Do not stay here. The front desk guy should be promoted to a higher end Hilton hotel (I wish I could remember his name, hopefully they can figure out who and at least give him a bonus or raise).

Very convenient to I/95

I was only there for 1 night, but there was a "boil water" alert for the area that night that was inconvenient, even if it was out of the control of the hotel. The hotel DID provide complimentary water bottles for the Guests for drinking and toothbrushing.

Called about lack of connectivity for Netflix and HBO. Spoke to tech assistance who was unable to help. Gave my cell number for someone to contact me and never heard back!

The staff was very supportive and highly professional!! They always ensure that my stay is stress free!! A++++

I’ve stayed at this Hotel times before and I have always had a pleasant experience!!

Hotel appears to be a little older but decent. Location was great in reference to freeway access and the area was decent. A lot of fast food options if that’s what you like but in terms of dine in options you would have to drive at least 30 mins into downtown Savannah area. The fitness area was doable but needs more weight options. Breakfast was average… think they could’ve switched things up daily rather than have the same options. Price for this property was decent thru Expedia.

The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was clean. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioner fan would make a squeaking noise Everytime the air shut off.

Nothing really impressed me, the staff was kind. But i had to ask forextra towels to last 3 days, the bed sheets were changed with stained sheets, they gave us new stained sheets and we had to change them ourselves. For heaven sakes this was a Fairfield by Marriott.

Pleasant stay

Did a great job refurbishing the Lobby and main floor.

Beware of the security deposit. They were supposed to put a hold on my account but actually charged my card. The air conditioner kept cutting on and off. When it was off you could hear people talking in the parking lot as well as traffic passing by the hotel. The charging my bank account rather than just putting a hold is very aggravating. Now I have to spend time going to my bank to dispute the charges.

Checked in to room with a heavy odor. Spoke with the desk who came to room and gagged when walking in. They had no other rooms available for the night and only suggestion was share my adult sons room with zero compensation. They offered to move to a different room remainder of stay. The supervisor Kayla was supposed to contact me that NEVER happened. When checking out front desk guy David claimed they checked the room found no odor and booked it to others without complaints. I asked so you are saying I am lying aling with your coworker. This hotel and service does not meet the Bonvoy standards or the standards of any ither Fairfield I have stayed at. Going forward I guess I remain loyal to Hilton.

Cold pool, same breakfast daily

Overall the stay was very enjoyable. Nice clean room. All the amenities advertised. The only issue was the mattresses need to be replaced. Recommended stay.

The shower was dirty. The bed pillows were terrible. They were twin size pillows for a king size bed. Asked for more pillows and was told they only had one to give.

We had to move to 3 different rooms because the first room had a real bad smell of pets, like it had not been cleaned. They moved us to another room that had pet hair on around the shower and all in the carpet. We complained again so they moved us to an Executive Suite which was better but still was a bad experience.

The pool was so so so small and cold. The filter system wasn't even running..most indoor pools are heated. The service was great

The lobby and hall area was well done. The room, however, had been refurbished - but not well done. The old toilet was very low, not standard height. The hot/cold faucet was broken. The shower control was difficult to adjust or control. The metal tray in the shower was rusted. The drapes at the window were not long enough to keep out the light from the parking lot at night. No reading light on the right side of the bed. Construction debris around carpet edge. Not Marriott’s best effort.

The soaps in the shower was all shampoo, no body wash soap, no conditioner. Would be great to have a Keurig coffee system in the rooms!! Don’t like pay TV, some people don’t have streaming networks!!!

Shower head needed cleaning. The water wouldn't go out in the sink (316). A bit of hair on the sheets otherwise this was a very nice place! Breakfast was awesome (wonderful staff)... I'd definitely stay again! Beautiful area ..

The television in my room did not work properly. The guide on the TV was displaying only the previous day selection. When I contacted the front desk they were unable to to assist. Then contacted tech support they also were unable to help. This morning the same problem existed. So I was unable to watch any current programs including news channels. The TV just did not work!

It was okay. Our room had a smell we couldn’t figure out. May have been clean but didn’t feel clean. Bathroom could use a deep clean. I could have paid less somewhere else for the same condition. Pillows were aweful!

It was a quick stop, just a place to sleep for the night, but the greeting was warm and welcoming and the room was large and comfortable.

First id like to say the staff is very friendly, when we got there we dropped our stuff off and went to our family. When we went to shower and use the bathroom we found hairs on the toilet and the shower curtain was so small it soaked floor.

My reservation was cancelled along with 3 other people who also arrived at the same time we did. Ridiculous! I will never book a night at Fairfield.

Nice and clean

At arrival a lady training an another male staff at front desk on checking in time (4:15pm). The lady didn’t even have the courtesy to greet guest and inform to wait for few minutes while training another staff. Room keys don’t work customers lined up back to front desk for another keys…. No restaurants available except fast food etc.. Horrible experience!!
