So we paid for wifi that never worked. When we called the front desk, they told us to call a separate number that never actually answered. At least one of us got sick from the air conditioning in the rooms that seem like they have never been cleaned. Actually my worst experience ever at a hotel booked through expedia.

The surfaces were visibly dirty - side tables, floor, stovetop, and parts of the kitchen. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the floor was warped and coming up from what looked like previous water damage.

The young lady at the front desk was kind and helpful throughout the whole situation of checking in and then needing to leave. Good value, clean, I enjoyed having the kitchen features! Residents kept propping open the side exit door. It was left open overnight.

It was ok, I had issues with the toilet and a sink there were clogged ,two lamps weren't working & there was a big water bug I had to ask staff to remove. 😳

Nothing! Everything was terrible, seriously. I booked a studio that had broken furniture in it. The nightstand was broken, and one leg of the coffee table was damaged. The bathtub drained extremely slowly. Even though it was a studio, the kitchen had zero utensils. The telephone line didn’t work either. For every single issue, we had to go downstairs to the front desk. We asked for kitchen utensils, and the lady handed us a huge basket with pots, plates, glasses, etc. We had to carry that heavy basket all the way to our room only to find that one saucepan was completely tarnished and peeling from everywhere. It looked disgusting. We had to go all the way back again just to request a proper saucepan. Later, we found out the iron didn’t work either, so again we had to go downstairs and ask. It was multiple unnecessary rounds up and down. The breakfast was terrible too. They claimed to serve coffee, but there wasn’t even milk or proper hot water available. They didn’t even have drinking water to serve. Everything was rubbish. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

There was no one at the front desk when I arrived to check in - I waited 45 minutes then cancelled the reservation and booked at a different property.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The Emergency side door was propped open with a rock at night. When we checked in they gave us a room key to an occupied room and fortunately we only saw an open suitcase and not walk in and disturb someone. These 2 situations made us feel unsafe. The desk clerk gave us a new room and in the middle of the night, at 3 am, the smoke detector battery alarm started going off. Needless to say we didn't get a good nights sleep or enjoy our stay.

Kitchen had nothing in it to cook with. Website described it had utensils in room. Under bed was disgusting. Lint and hair under bed. On top of fridge were old room keys from previous guest and dust. Oven top didn't work. Knobs on stove were backwards. Room really needs to be updated for that price I paid. Will never stay there again. Waste of money

The staff was great which is the only reason I’m giving this hotel 3 stars. I switched rooms multiple times due to various reasons that were out of anyone’s control. Thankfully, none of my possessions were damaged along the way. There’s a weird smell in all the rooms which I’m sensitive to, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

Stains 😯 on all carpets, garbage smells, unclean touch screens, unclean sofas, mattresses, unclean bathtub, was unable to bathe properly while on menstrual cycle and do womanly hygiene care

Comfortable room with ample space

Compared to many other extended stay hotels, there is no comparison!! The Extended Stay America at 6807 Paragon Place is exceptional. Not only does the entire staff make us feel like we are at home, but the attention to details are impressive. The kitchen supplies are offered without charging extra fees, from can liners to tissues, to pots & pans, dishes, flatware, which other hotels in the same category nickel and dime their customers. Any time If we were not satisfied, they would be graciously be attentive to resolving any issues. Not that we had any issues warranted, I personally had a small preference that was accommodated professionally, warmly, respectfully as well as followed up on to ensure I received what I wanted. Other hotels didn't show empathy or any compassion comparable to the service oriented staff at The Extended Stay. Not only is the price well worth it, the staff is top notch and can rival the service of any hotel. I personally have traveled to many countries, stayed at many hotels from 5 stars to 2 stars, with my experience traveling, I feel I can honestly access what this hotel offers. Without any ulterior motives for me to write this review. I know people may write reviews attempting to receive a discount or something free, I have already checked out and have my honest opinion from my experience staying. Rude ppl in front desk and they act like they don’t want to help you & all the times we’re there there’s NO water running HOT AND the AC doesn’t work & they don’t want to fix it or accommodate you for their mistakes

It was an easily accessible property. It was clean. Walls are thinner so you can unfortunately hear louder guests at times. Staff was nice.

Very dirty and noisy

We booked a queen suite with a kitchenette and a pull out couch. The room had a weird odor. The size of the room was nice. The pull out couch mattress was in terrible condition and I had to go back to the front desk to ask for sheets and pillows. When using the shower, it sounded like you were about to fall through the floor. It made all kinds of creaky noises. The hotel was in a nice location and decent for the price.

It was a big surprise the utensils and cooling system functioned fine 24/7.The lovely behavior and readiness of staff made us to have a pleasure stay for two weeks. We will recommend this hotel for long time stay.

Great amount of space.

It looks to be in an office building area, but there’s privacy and trees all around. Much more calm and clean than I would have expected based on the location. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Friendly staff

The hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly. Some furniture in the room was showing some fairly advanced wear and tear. Refrigerator/freezer was knocking all night. Overall, for convenience to where we needed to go to in the morning and the economical price for one night, we would probably stay again. But we would feel much better if it didn’t feel like we were staying at a hotel in a police state.

Extremely comfortable place. Hosting services are perfectly cordial and caregiving. Great quality and site conditions, it offers the chance to have a temporary home on the road when it's needed.

The room was OK. The door was really hard to close. Breakfast amounted to pre-packaged muffins and Nutri-grain bars, and instant oatmeal. Nothing was fresh but the coffee. I wouldn't call that a real breakfast.

Have us wrong room. We booked a month ago two beds. The overbooked and only had a room with one bed and a sofà. We found some cockroaches in room. Microwave was dirty and refrige was dirty. First staff member was not help ful. The other staff member was wonderful and we told her the next day we would be checking out and stating somewhere else. She refunded our money and was sorry we were not happy.

Front desk clerk said I had no reservation.. made reservation by 12 but didn’t arrive until about 6 so reservation should have been showing. I had to pay extra unexpected money which took away from my budget for something else. The property was ok but the clerk after being shown by my email and Expedia that the reservation was confirmed was not helpful and unapologetic. I deserve a free nights stay for the disturbing and upsetting and unexpected inconvenience!!!!

I know there is a lot of pressure on housekeeping these days, but the room was gross. There was trash on the floor and it smelled like smoke. Front desk usually doesn't even look up when folks walk in. Wouldn't recommend unless you have an emergency.

I loved the fact that I was able to check-in early, The two guys at the front desk were very helpful and quick with checking in and out. The room was very clean and smelled amazing, as well as the rest of the premises. I do look forward to staying again when I am in town.

Apartment was ok, the cooker was port quality with the knobs not working well, equipment supplied was sparse, no drainer not pots just frying pan, the air con was excellent, to channels sparse and not a smart tv, internet ok bathroom ok but shower pressure poor, the bed… one of the comfiest I have had in a hotel.

Best stay /value I've had

Not accommodating with regards to my discomfort with the noisy refrigerator. The only reason I chose this property was so I could use the kitchen particularly the refrigerator but I had to unplug it so I could get some sleep. Thus, I had to make other less accommodating arrangements to do what I needed to do.

Needed to arrive late & staff was great. Secure place with locked front door that was monitored.

I do not drive anymore so I had a hard time walking to restaurants or paying Uber too much money to go to a restaurant. I rarely saw the staff after checking in. The vending machine with drinks did not work. It was a nice room but difficult staying there.

Horrible person at front desk went missing at 11 and we couldn’t get sheets and blankets for the sofa bed and my kids were not comfortable the couch was not cleaned and crumbs was in the bed when we pulled it out

The value vs price is not good. The rooms are larger than an avg hotel room but the bathroom facilities were not good. The water came out of the sink like a drip. Tough to wash hands. Shower was just ok. All is all the hotel was ok but the price should have been lower.

It was fine for the night. Dont say you have a breakfast included when you dont have much on the menu. You cany keep blaming this on covid.

comfy and great stay

My wife said the floor was sticky on her side of the bed. The breakfast was what they called grab and go. Small convenience stop muffin and coffee. The hot water for tea was not hot and it tasted like coffee. The room is badly lit. Stains on the ceiling could have been from previous leak orvthe beginning of mold. Received a room with kitchen which was not what I selected. Staff was nice. I only needed a room for one night and arrived about 9pm. Woke up with a back ache. Dust behind the night stand I saw when I made a fast movement it was stirred up. Will not select it again based on cleanliness.

The reception person was nowhere to be found when I was checking out. So, I just left and couldn't get a bill.

The hotel was pretty good

I like the location of this property and had no issues with noise inside or outside the property, however, my room was below my expectations. Hotel didnt have enough pillows available and upon arrival hallways had a terrible odor.

Upon arriving the front desk staff was so nice. I could tell the hotel was worn and older but as long its clean. I got relocated here from expedia as my Marriott reservation got canceled. This was the dirtiest hotel i have stayed in. I didn’t even want to take a shower as it was chipped paint and dirt. Also have noticed bug not only in bathroom but coming in and out of the wall boards. My sheets are stained and black stuff on the bed comforter and floor. I think is coming from the AC units. I am on 3rd floor. Smells like urine in hallway, kitch and fridge disgusting. I am so grossed out and surprised this was where expedia relocated me and said would be equal to the Marriott.

I however had the worst experience I have ever had at an hotel feom day one. When I checked in a male front desk agent showed me my room I then accepted conditions and he gave me my keys. I then left to go grocery shopping came back to discover that my room had been occupied by another customer. So I was issued another room. Then for the next 4 days I had to keep getting my card programmed because it would work and I never put it near my phone. And to top it off the gym was completely out of order !

They say breakfast is included, but the person checking us in said they have coffee and muffins and that's it (his words). There was really strong smell off the 2nd floor elevator of some kind of fish smell first night and again 2nd night; wasn't there during the day time when we left and returned. We've stayed here in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022. Property is about the same condition, but the welcome wasn't welcoming this time.

Disappointed in check-in. Was informed there would be Veterans Day discount but the front desk wouldn’t acknowledge it. Charged me additional for a service animal.

We live in the area but went to a concert downtown and wanted to all stay over. The hotel was clean and no complaints. I did find it odd that they have no ice in the premises.
