As always, had a wonderful time at my favorite hotel and seeing my favorite staff. Something new here, one of the things I love doing is opening my window and listening to the beautiful rain outside. My stay was very peaceful and ofcourse very safe. Will be back again 😊

I know that I write a lot of reviews but that’s just how much I love this hotel. It really is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at here in Richmond. It’s always a pleasure to see the smiling faces of the staff every time I come to stay.

Forgot to mention the peacefulness of my stay. No loud music, no crazy nonsense, just pure peacefulness my whole 3 weeks of staying at the extended stay hotel.

As always had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff are always nice and the rooms are always clean and smelling really good. Love the feeling when you first walk into the room, you just know you’re going to have a great stay.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel is quiet got a good rest but, the room had a weird smell and they need new rod in the bathroom! It is about to fall off and the shower curtain does not close all the way. The toilet is all moldy on the bottom. There were people smoking on the stairs. There is no continental breakfast! There was coffee, muffins and oatmeal.

I've stayed here twice and this will be the last time. Last month I got locked out of my room and there was no one in the office. It was 30 degrees. Last stay shower had no knob so I had to sink bathe. They only care about fulling rooms. I will update review with pics of the room and

As always, one of my favorite hotels to stay in. Safe, quiet and relaxing as always. Price is right, definitely a hotel for you to stay and enjoy.

Sometimes I don’t feel like cooking even though we have access to a stove in our rooms. So I love the fact that there are restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Awesome stay as always.

I had a great stay. Room was clean as always and the heater works like a charm. I enjoyed the morning hot coffee that they serve, especially during this winter season.

Needed a good nights rest and was able to get just that during my stay. It was peaceful, quiet and the room was of course clean. Will be returning again.

The bed was a single, not a queen as advertised. I feel I should be refunded the difference. There was homeless lady with her dog sleeping on the steps. Some of the guests who live at the motel were outside talking and yelling until 2am.

As always the staff was kind and professional, the room was clean as always and the environment was very peaceful. I was able to get some good rest on their comfortable bed. Definitely recommend.

I did not stay after arriving at this hotel. There were full trash bags in the stairwells and common areas. Also a person was sleeping in the stairwell. There were people hanging out outside their rooms smoking and cars loitering in the parking lot. Did not appear sanitary or safe.

The room was dirty. There was hair and toothpaste in the sink when we arrived. The appliances should have been replaced 10 years ago and seem to have been spray painted. The bed was somewhat comfortable. We did not take our shoes off for fear of the dirt.

As always I really enjoy staying here. Peaceful as always, sort of feels like home every time I stay here. Staff are always kind and professional.

Horrible stay, had to leave immediately, luckily the refunded me in full, but could not provide proof on the spot. 9pm check in waited almost an hour for someone to show up, gab me keys to a room that was filthy, waited another 30 minutes for her to come back and I told her I needed a refund. Staff was polite, and beautiful, but always missing in action. This was how my bed looked for the room I was checking into!

Another wonderful stay at my number one hotel. The weather is getting cooler so I had a morning coffee at the hotels breakfast stand. It definitely hit the spot. Looking forward to coming back as I can’t get enough of this hotels peaceful atmosphere.

Another wonderful and peaceful stay at my favorite hotel. A good place to get some much needed rest with peace and quiet throughout the entire day and night. No loud music from neighbors, just pure peace and quiet.

I had a wonderful stay, I needed to get some much needed rest and their soft queen size bed and comfy pillows did the trick. I’m well reenergized and I will be returning soon. Thanks to the wonderful staff for everything you do.

A few of my favorite moments about this hotel is when you first walk in the room. It’s quite similar to walking into a spa, you can feel and smell the cleanliness of the room. Love waking up early in the morning to grab coffee and muffins. Other selections to choose from too such as oatmeal, breakfast bar, tea etc. the bed is very comfortable, staff super nice and as always a true peaceful relaxing place to be. Great cable channels too such as hbo, showtime, fox etc.

Stay at your own risk. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The clientele appeared to include a lot of questionable people, making the environment feel unsafe—especially after dark. I didn’t feel comfortable letting my son walk to the car alone at night. The room was in terrible condition: the refrigerator and microwave still had food remnants from a previous guest, the floors and remote were sticky, and the general cleanliness was unacceptable. The door lock barely functioned—it took several minutes of trying the key card repeatedly just to get in. The photos online must be from years ago because the actual condition of the property was nothing like what was advertised. We were grateful we only needed to stay one night. I will never stay at an Extended Stay America again. If you have other options, take them.

Literally the only good thing about it was the air conditioner and I am not exaggerating! Cobwebs, trash outside, sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. We did not feel safe at all.

It's always a good time for myself and my boyfriend to spend quality time in a quite, private, clean, and comfortable place. We are frequent guests and we always are satisfied w our stay. It's our home away from home

Don’t stay here unless you absolutely have to. We were put in a room not in the building pictured, NUMEROUS things in the room were broken (bathroom door knob, picture frames, locks on windows), the room smelled of smoke, and other occupants were very loud at very late hours (smoking outside of our room chatting, driving a truck with a loud exhaust around the parking lot at 3am). Luckily we were only here for one night.

Had to request another room because the “nonsmoking” room had a strong cigarette smoke smell. The comforter had stains and the wall paint was dingy and smudged. The TV remote did not work and was given another remote for a different brand of TV that surprise didn’t work either. Also, the room had few outlets for plugging in devices for charging/etc. The front desk agent had to check the room himself as if we lied about the strong smoke smell before changing our room as if we were getting a major upgrade. I was really surprised because of all the Extended Stays I’ve ever stayed at this was definitely subpar and not up to the standard I’m used to especially at the rate we paid. I was really disappointed.

The room smelled terrible, seemingly a combo of cigarettes & marijuana. I tried running the fan constantly but that did not help. My room was in a buiding not shown on the website. It was a “suite” but the only seating was a single office-type chair at a table -table could be for dining or office work. Zero cookware, flatware, plates, cups, etc. Thst probably reflects the security of the neighborhood.

The place was OK but a bit rundown and dirty. The elevator smelled like urine.

The room was not clean at all they don’t put any toilet paper on room and there was only 2 towels they have roaches and the area is not safe from 10 pm until I checked out there was too much loud noise and music that you can’t feel safe I don’t recommend for others to stay here .

It was a completely nightmare, there was a lot of bed bugs and I suffered from many bites and hives, I could not sleep all night, actually I'd like to request a refund because the manager wasn't there, I have evidence of those bugs.

I believe that they literally do not clean up once a customer checks out. My room was awfully dirty and I had to clean up the bathroom and tables by myself. Also, the bed sheets were yellowish and too old. There is a big chance that people get infected or sick in this hotel.

If you need plates or glasses you need to order everything in office.Says hotel has free breakfast but they have only tea, coffee and cheap grits. Every hotel usually has free tea, coffee daily, its not a breakfast. Nonsmoking property but people smoke everywhere. Do not worth the price. Donot recommend to anyone. Not my first time in Extendend Stay but this one was gross

There was a lot of loud music playing and men drinking beer and laying on the ground just outside our room but it wasn’t too bad.

It was an inexpensive place to stay, but you get what you pay for. Not updated furnishings, mostly clean but not well-maintained. Bed was very comfortable, though!

I guess you get what you pay for

You’re better off staying somewhere that costs about $40-60 a night because it’s equivalent. You can tell room service does the bare minimum. The first room I checked in had blood specs on the bathroom floor, the second room curtains when broken not enough hooks to put back up, the third room smelled like Wolverine had been staying there. The smell was so awful I barely slept. The third room I was moved to refrigerator door handles had black smudges, the sink had sticky spots, and when you turn to look at the door it was caked up with some many smudges and looked like a bunch of germs. There were burns throughout the carpet in the last room I settled upon. The dishes for kitchen area had to be requested. It’s an overall janky hotel .

The place was disgusting inside and out. The man at the front desk was nice, fortunately, but the room smelled as soon as the door opened, the floors were sticky, cigarette butts everywhere. We asked to be refunded and left immediately.

We got to our room and it smelled so strong of marijuana as soon as we opened the door. I called the front desk to ask for another room and I was told we couldn’t move because they were full. Then told they would bring up spray in 10-15 minutes. Twenty five minutes past and no one came. We had dinner reservations so I went to the front desk. I was handed a little can of spray with enough spray for one squirt. The chair in the room had something all over the seat so we couldn’t sit on it. I sat on the end of the bed and the mattress slid off. The carpets were filthy as my white socks were black. All of our belongings smelled like the room and couldn’t wait to get them home to wash them. The kicker of it all was the hotel was not full. You can tell that because they leave the curtains open in rooms not booked so I did not appreciate being lied to an made to stay in the disgusting room. Definitely not worth the money!

The room smells terrible. And the rugs looks dirty. The corridor outside the elevator wasn’t clean. I’m sorry but I couldn’t stay the two nights I have been reserved.

Giving 1-star was generous but this place is not in any condition to stayed at. My room smelled like rotten onions and when I complained to the front desk she tried to shove a marijuana smelling room at me!!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE DON'T FOOLED BY THE PICTURES!!!!!

This is an.old property and looked old and shabby. It was as clean as an old property could be. There was no hair dryer and there was no shower. Major inconvenience

Due to winter, not much crowd was there. Most of the rooms were empty. Rooms were clean with beautiful ocean view.

The room was ok nothing special. The tub had stains in it and the bathroom sink never cut off no matter how you turned it. The front door had to be slammed to shut. There was only one light bulb and 5 lights in the room. The customer service was HORRIBLE!!!!!Workers where rude from the time we checked in right up until we left. I don't understand why because we were very respectful not to mention we spent money to stay there.

The room had a smokey smell [to be a nonsmoking room]. There was no hot/warm water in the shower or sink. The toilet kept getting stopped up. The carpet was very dirty in many spots. The bathroom tub was dirty, to include the bath towel. The sink in the bathroom was not clean. The table in the common area was very dirty. The bed sheets had spots on them, and were covered with a blanket. The overall environment was a bit loud; someone was intent on getting in the room a few doors down from mine. They were banging on the door for the occupant to open, threatening to tear down the door [this was like 3AM]. The upstairs occupant [above my room] seemed like they were intent on stomping on the floor. Was awoken by the landscapers. When I arrived for my stay on Saturday night there was a strong police presence and groups of what seemed to be younger folk running around. There were constant cars pulling up for 5-10 minutes and then leaving [someone would pull up, someone would get out, go to the same room, and then come back out less than 5-10 minutes each time].

First time staying so it was nice

It served its purpose. still a little pricey for a room that you can hear noise all around. I did some pushups and noticed the huge opening under the door wide enough for a lot of creatures and people could get in?

The receptionist were very nice but the overall cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. there was a moldy smell in my room, the shower head and shower had hair still in it.

The Staff is very kind and considerate of my needs. For the most part, it is quiet. Occasionally we get a load person next door, but other than that, its quiwt.

The service at the front desk was horrible! Didn't know how my paid room was paid for? The next patron was told his card wouldn't be charged but yet it was including my fee. A fee that was massively overpriced with roaches and other bugs crawling around. I could've taken that $170 up the street and stayed in Hilton or Marriot. I deserve a refund for this awful hotel stay.

Please beware when booking at this location. There is a nice looking Extended Stay hotel across the parking lot, and Google appears to use those pictures for the rooms when you go to book. When you arrive you are actually booked to stay in this motel across the street. The motel is run down and smells of marijuana (weed). The staff were polite. The first room we were given was covered in small roach like insects. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, and the room smelled of heavy cleaner like it was trying to mask a scent. When I asked for a refund they said the manager was not onsite (it was only around 5-6 pm). So instead I had them switch us to a new room. This one was better, but it was nothing like the pictures we saw online. I've stayed a Extended Stays in the past and had very good experiences, but this is one location I would never go back to.

The rooms stink. They are not clean. I requested a non smoking room and both rooms smelled like smoke. Bathrooms were gross and bugs were everywhere! ! $123 for one night is not worth it. I will not recommend this hotel.

It is slightly run down. The rooms have kitchens but no utensils, dishes glasses pots or pans. You needs to ask for something at office but very limited. My room ddi not even have a trash can in it. Tv is flat screen but old, movies keep freezing. We were offered drugs in the parking lot as well.

We arrived at the hotel and were told that our reservation was canceled. I asked why it was canceled and was told our card was declined. However, when I made the reservation, I did not give any payment as I had selected “pay at check-in.” We were not notified of the cancellation prior to checkin and we were told there were no other rooms available.
