Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its convenient location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are recurring issues with the elevators, air conditioning noise, and lack of certain amenities like microwaves in the rooms.
- Convenient location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Frequent elevator issues
- Noisy air conditioning

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days, our room was never cleaned and trash bin not emptied. Breakfast had good choices, the staff are friendly, and there is easy parking however there is still some renovations ongoing.

great customer service. they are renovating so beware but it was overall a nice stay

The room was great! Very spacious!

Clean and spacious room The breakfast was minimal and coffee machine was broken

- 5/5
Hotel is under renovation so there was some debris to maneuver around. However, the updates room was nice.
- 2/5
The pool, coffee pots out of order. They said have 1 Craig coffee pot but took forever 2-3 in line waiting. The breakfast was sad. They are remodeling the hotel full of dust and elevators dirty with dust and card board. Not worth the full price…. Should have had a price cut.
- 3/5
Staff was amazing. While the facility is under renovation, there is no excuse for not having a clean room. The bathroom was not swept or wiped down. The comforter was dirty. The bathroom also had outdated and dripping tub. The breakfast was subpar. Limited selection of items and warmed frozen breakfast items. Coffee pot broken.
- 5/5
It was nice they are just renovating right now so some things cant be helped with cleanliness.
- 5/5
I love that there is parking within the hotel. The room was clean. The staff were very kind. Breakfast was ok. Will stay again

Great
- 3/5
The smell when you walk in the room it’s not pleasant (humidity) The carpet around the ac unit was soaked wet. The toilet in our room was chipped It was just not looking clean Dusty. But was not terrible but feel like they could do better for the price there charging for a night stay.
- 3.5/5
No microwave in the rooms
- 4.5/5
Great location to the airport and convenient to food, gas etc. I realize the hotel was under renovation. My updated room was clean but my friend’s room had dirty shoe prints in her shower and needed to be swept behind the bathroom door. The coffee system was not good. Just brew some coffee and serve in carafes
- 3/5
The pillows aren’t the best. Prepare to use two or three pillows stacked to get some supo.
- 1/5
nothing I paid $300 to be able to swim in the pool, but it was closed. You should have stated that the pool was closed.
- 4/5
Everything thing was great with the property and the customer service was outstanding. But they were having renovations done with part of there lobby and the contractors that were doing the work were very unprofessional they didn't put up no plastics to block dust and the plaster they were putting down for the new tiles they were tracking it in the lobby areas and the elevator lobby.
- 3.5/5
Comfortable, bed and nice sized room The lobby was under construction. I'd read reviews stating so, so I called before booking and spoke with a representative that assured me construction was completed. That was not the case.

Bed was soooo comfortable. Keep the fan running on the AC/Heat to block out traffic noise from the highway exit running behind the hotel. Parking is plentiful and well lit. Breakfast was good, but the same two mini quiches every day got tedious. Coffee was amazing, too!
- 4/5
Only complaint was our room was facing traffic side . noisy at night. The hotel is under renovation but was satisfactory.

Guys, I am not complaining; I am just stating facts. Excellent location. All the stores and some restaurants are around the hotel; you can walk if you like. But they are in the middle of renovation. So you will feel it. The pool was closed, the elevator was all taped up, and my room door did not lock. They came and tried to fix it, but it was not fixed. One fact no one will change is the sink is located outside the bathroom and in front of the bed, which I hate. Breakfast mainly is some bread with cream cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, and waffles. Lots of flight aircrew stay there for the convenience. So overall do not expect much for the price.
- 4/5
Hello I see that they were remodeling the inside to the building. rebranding is always good. Everything was nice, beautiful and comfortable. I had only one issue and that was the mattress was hard and uncomfortable my back was defientley hurting when getting up in the morning. I was also upset that the pool was not up and running other than this two things it was nice. everyone was great.
- 4/5
Would love to have had a microwave in the room. The small microwave located in front of the elevator doors was less than desirable. A regular size microwave would be better. Would love to have a brewed coffee for breakfast rather than making a cup at a time.

Everything Everything

Everything Everything
- 3/5
Breakfast selection lacking especially for choices for kids, pool closed no mentioned of it when checking in, tv doesn’t work unless you already have apps for streaming, in middle of remodel but that wasn’t an effect on the experience
- 3/5
Parking fine. No daily room cleaning. Breakfast heavily lacking. Whole hotel in state of disrepair. Would not stay agian
- 2/5
This hotel is under construction. The elevators are dirty and the walls are taped with duct tape. The pool was closed for renovation. My room had a large wet spot 3ftx2ft at the foot of the bed that seemed unrelated to plumbing or air conditioning. Limited breakfast choices and other guests told us the breakfast used to be wonderful but was not anymore. Disappointing.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location relative to airport and many dining options nearby. Parking abundant. Fresh fruit with breakfast would be better. Pool was closed!
- 3/5
mediocre stay in every way. flush was broken, sink was clogged and accumulated water, there was an old cracker wrapper under the bed, heater/ac smelled burned, breakfast barely passes as edible, it was just very mediocre, not something i hated, but wouldn't necessarily recommend to anyone to stay here. staff was nice tho.
- 5/5
I love the location and the comfortability of the room. But there was no maid service
- 5/5
I love the location and the comfortability of the room. But there was no maid service ?. When I go out of town I've that part. The overall hotel was nice, location was perfect and convenient to alot of stuff. Enjoy my stay
- 2/5
This property is overpriced! Construction, filthy, just not the Hyatt standard at all! We were shocked and displeased. I will contact Hotels.com for adjustments on this one! Not okay!

Exceptional
- 5/5
The amazing customer service trumps the lacks.
- 4/5
Only complaints would be the tiny bathrooms and the loud but not cold a/c unit.
- 4/5
Where the breakfast items were, was also way too small. People were almost colliding with one another going to the wafflemaker, the toaster, the juice dispenser, and the egg and quiche platter. A much bigger layout is necessary where things are spread out.
- 4/5
The breakfast was good.
- 1/5
I was woken up at 8am by loud scraping on the walls from the room next door. Sounded like some sort of renovation. The sheets were stained and strangely there was no ability to get cool water in the sink.
- 5/5
The hotel was under renovation, the room was fine not spotless but nothing to complain about as my stay was short. The staff were great and accommodating. The breakfast was great. No complaints
- 5/5
It's a great place to stay if anyone attending an event or game at CU Boulder, CO. Wonderful and helpful staff and management, clean rooms and facilities, good breakfast...
- 3/5
We had NO IDEA this property was under renovation. Had we known, we would have NEVER booked this property. Not fair that it did not say so when booking!
- 5/5
The breakfast has changed. Used to provide eggs, different sausages, pancakes. Now they only have small breakfast quiches and waffles. Although the food was very tasty!
- 5/5
We love staying in this hotel before we fly. It’s right off of the interstate near the airport. Convenient to food; you can walk to Longhorn,Publix and target. Always clean and nice, upgraded rooms. Carmen took care of us at the desk. We will be back!
- 3/5
The “free” breakfast was a joke.
- 5/5
I had a great experience at the Hyatt Richmond Airport. I spent most of my time in downtown and this hotel was convenient to travel to in-between events.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
I was taking a shower and the water shut off. It took some time for it to come back on. When we did have water, the pressure would come and go. The staff were wonderful!! Helpful and apologetic about the construction. It would have been nice to have know it was under . Construction.
- 4/5
We had the same breakfast over the two days we stayed there. The parking is safe. The hotel is in a great location -walkable to many shops and restaurants. it is under construction. Our room felt very dated, but it was clean and quiet.
- 3/5
There was renovations going on on the fourth floor, I could hear the workers. Congestion on elevator with workers and containers. If i had known this, i would have booked elsewhere.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 3/5
Parking was good, convenient location to stores. Hotel under renovation price was higher then I expected.
- 5/5
This room was extremely clean. The staff was fantastic. There was plenty of parking as well.
- 3/5
Breakfast was limited.
- 2/5
This place was filthy. Our second time staying overnight to catch an early flight. First time I guess we had a newly refurbished room or something. This time we walked into the room and there were baby cockroaches in the shower and the shower drain was clogged by what had to be weeks worth of hair etc. Went down and showed pics and was just like, Hey guys this is obviosly not clean. There was no shock or apology just here is another room. Clearly this happens all the time. Next room was marginally better, still had hair and dust bunnies everywhere. Just gross experience and the lack of care from employees is obvious.
- 2/5
Staff was nice but hotel only looks nice in the lobby. At night there were men hanging out in the lobby. Not something you want to experience coming off a long drive with small children. My room stinked like smoke and smelly feet and there was hair in my shower. The television only had channel 5 and was dated.
- 3/5
Washroom was malfunctioning
- 1/5
Beware the restaurant and bar are no longer there, the free breakfast was pretty bad. Not much to choose from. Construction going on in the lobby and gym area.
- 5/5
This hotel was great and it is located in the PERFECT spot. Everything you could want and need from food to shopping was in very close walking distance.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean.
- 5/5
We actually used the city bus to get to the convention which was free and convenient
- 2/5
Property was in poor shape and under renovation during my stay. I would have liked to have known that ahead of time.
- 2/5
We have stayed at this Hyatt multiple times and it has clearly gone downhill since our last stay! No one informed us this hotel is being renovated and it made a big difference in the non-clean state. I booked in advance and should have been told about this as it would've affected my decision to stay there after what we experienced. Even without the construction messes, the staff was not friendly, some were downright rude (as if asking a simple question was awful), the free breakfast was not good, the shower barely worked, the sink was clogged, there weren't enough charging areas with USB's, etc., etc., etc. We were NOT happy with our stay and will not be staying there next tine we're in town! We are people who give others the time of day and are quite patient. So for us to say we're done with Hyatt says alot! Our advice stay elsewhere!

I spent hundreds of dollars for one night, and there was no notice until after I arrived of the entire hotel being under construction. I had an event the next morning, and this should have been an easy stay. I was looking for a nice hotel with a pool and complimentary breakfast. The shower had no pressure, it was almost impossible to take a shower. You were given a steam of water to bathe with. The elevators hardly worked. This location had 7 floors and was almost completely sold out, and out of the 2 elevators, only one halfway worked. The breakfast was okay, but the pool and gym both had signs posted to the doors saying they would not be open until the 19th of March, when I stayed on the night of the 21st. The website also says there is a bar and restaurant on site, to which there is not. There is one microwave at the elevator of each floor, and mine would not heat up my food. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.
- 2/5
Room wasn’t cleaned when checked in. Water pressure was poor.
- 1/5
Deplorable
- 5/5
Everything was good especially the staff
- 2/5
Unannounced construction at reception and staff shortage at buffet breakfast
- 2/5
Property is under full renovation - check in desk is a fold-open table covered in a table cloth. None of the staff were wearing uniforms, just street clothes. Elevators function but both were taken up by construction staff and cleaning carts/staff. Stairwell Emergency exits were inoperable/locked, and in-room emergency sprinklers were capped/covered. NOT the condition we were expecting
- 3/5
Room was a bit shabby and loud. Toilet made horrible noise. Breakfast was really sub par. Shuttle to airport was excellent. Overall not worth the price.
- 5/5
wonderful
- 3/5
The hotel was undergoing renovations. Wish I had known that beforehand. I didn’t expect majority of the lobby to have ripped up flooring and repairmen slouched on the couches. It just wasn’t a good look. Aside from that, our bathroom tub looked gross. Luckily it was a one-night stay so I wasn’t forced to shower there. Anyway, I just didn’t like how dilapidated it looked. And not to mention there was one microwave located near the elevators, instead of in the room. Weird. Otherwise, the bed was clean and slept well. Safe to say I won’t be revisiting.
- 5/5
Was priced high to be during renovations
- 3/5
Property had some renovations going on and a smell of paint in the air, refrigerator in room did not work but otherwise everything ok.
- 1/5
The place was under construction and looked like a war zone. Staff were nowhere to be found at times. Breakfast was a couple broken pieces of toast or cold quiche.
- 5/5
Clean room, very nice staff
- 2/5
This hotel is be renovated, we could not get body wash on day 1 andd out sheets wasnt changed to day 2.
- 5/5
Great job from the room to the staff and breakfast!!
- 4/5
Tv didn’t work
- 3/5
The excessive amount of renovations being done made the hotel undesirable. Couldn’t get a soda due to the renovations. That’s ridiculous. The breakfast included was shoved in a meeting room and not laid out well. Until the renovations are further along, they should not be offering occupancy.
- 5/5
Check in was smooth and the room was clean. One of my fave hotels to stay in in the area.
- 2/5
The hotel is under renovation. That information is not provided when I booked the stay. Half of the lobby is cut off by make do plywood walls. The elevators were unsightly. the room that we stayed in had stains on the rug and on the base of the bed. The caulking of the tub was half off and the vent above the bathtub had dust and dirt falling out of it. Even for a hotel under renovation that is not acceptable because those aren’t an easy fix. There was no heat in the room. We arrived late in the day around 6 PM. We had to go visit an out of state, sick critically ill relative. The whole reason we needed the hotel stay. Got back to the hotel at 10 PM. It was cold. We turned on the heat. At 11 PM it was still no heat, but we had already prepared for and gotten in bed. I didn’t call the front desk and told him about that and that person stated that they could change our rooms to a room with heat, which is their policy. I told him that was not an option because everyone was already in bed. I was not about to relocate my elderly handicapped mother with dementia to another room at nearly midnight. I had to ask for (he didn’t offer) extra blankets. He said that he was busy, but we became available. We would get the extra blankets. The temp dropped to the 30s. I told him that we should have been informed that the hotel was under renovation, he rudely insisted that the third-party affiliates provide this information, I insisted they did not, the manager confirmed they didn’t.
- 1/5
We were not informed ahead of time that the entire hotel was under renovation, which affected everything from noise to room quality. During our first stay, our room had stained sheets, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Hyatt. Our second stay was even more frustrating. The shower overflowed, and we were told there was no maintenance staff available until the next morning. This forced us to repack everything late at night and move rooms so I could shower my daughter. The new room wasn’t much better—there was no mattress protector, the room smelled strongly of paint, and the shower sputtered and dripped loudly all night. Despite all of these issues, we were not offered any compensation for the inconvenience. To top it off, the breakfast was cold and lacked variety, which added to the overall disappointment. I do not recommend this hotel. These experiences were far below Hyatt standards, and we left extremely dissatisfied.
- 2/5
We we're there three nights , no one cleaned the room ,no clean towels ,lobby was under construction and we were not told before hand !! We would have stayed somewhere else .
- 2/5
Unfortunately this property did not disclose they were undergoing renovations and that the normal excellent service and attention we are used to with this property would be lacking. They had both elevators covered in protective cardboard there was dirt, debris and dust everywhere and our room was also not at all up to what we expect from a Hyatt and what we paid. The breakfast was less buffet and poorly prepared frozen quiches and dirty tables in the temporary meeting room location. When we approached staff they simply said that they could not assist and further stated that they were having housekeeping staffing issues and never once offered to do anything. Unfortunately this put a complete damper on a quick trip to what used to be one of our favorite locations. Just unfortunate.
- 4/5
Clean room/ excellent customer seevice
- 5/5
New clean room.
- 2/5
I was very disappointed. The building is under construction. The heating system was so loud that it was impossible to sleep.
- 3/5
The staff was excellent, but the room didn’t have any hot water last night or this morning and shower was freezing cold water.
- 5/5
Excellent room! Everything was clean, and the hotel and staff were excellent!!
- 3/5
Room was fine . Doing construction, expected issues. Breakfast was sparse and odd. Small area of food. Not arranged well. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was large. Noisy stomping and pounding in room above much of the night, gave me oceans eleven vibes. Strange. Not the hotel’s fault.
- 1/5
Hotel under construction, woken up at 6:45 am due to inconsiderate employees. Breakfast does not even remotely resemble what's pictured on their website. Got the runs after eating their yogurt. Had to ask to have the room cleaned. Shocked at the Hotel from Hell treatment here. Hayatt used to mean something in the hotel industry.
- 4/5
Clean room and breakfast and also the lady in the breakfast room was really kind and friendly
- 2/5
The room had a cast of dust on all the furniture. Nothing looked like it was wiped down. The tub was discolored and the toilet area still had remnants of matter around the seat. The body wash was empty. Initial check in took 15 minutes. We were the only people in the lobby. The front desk agent had trouble with my reservation through Expedia. She stated the card on file declined, after another several minutes she was able to resolve the issue. Overall this was a very disappointing stay. Did not feel comfortable. The level of cleanliness was sub par
- 3/5
My room was outdated and not very clean. Mold in the grout in tbe shower. I asked for a new room and it really wasnt any better.
- 2/5
Hotel was under construction and the rooms were dirty
- 3/5
Renovations were being completed on the floor below us and the heat and shower were broken upon arrival in our room (don’t realize this until the following morning as we arrived late the night prior). The staff was very accommodating and helpful with these issues, but what a pain to sleep in a freezing room hoping the heat would eventually kick in and then horrible to wake up to no ability to take a shower.
- 5/5
great staff
- 4/5
Very nice, renovated rooms and comfortable bed
- 1/5
The first room we checked into we extremely hot and we were unable to cool it down using the controls. The tv would not work so we had to call the desk to have someone fix it. Around 9 pm my daughter went to take a shower and the water was very hot. I let it run for awhile and put it on cold and it never changed temperature. It was so hot it would have burned your skin. I called the front desk and they moved us to a different room which was not convenient. The second room was cooler but there were multiple bugs in the room. A ladybug on the ceiling, a moth and ants in the bathroom. Overall the hotel felt outdated and not very clean, especially with bugs in the rooms.
- 5/5
Perfect location for the airport, nice rooms, friendly and attentive staff
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff was exceptional as always
- 5/5
My room was cleans. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Location, huge room, great beds, and large breakfast selection….really great find!
- 4/5
Our room was very comfortable and the hotel was in a great location near shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Yes, the room was great! Had a great night sleep in the bed, very comfortable pillows!
- 4/5
Also, the front desk employees that I interacted with were all pleasant, even when I was coming in super late at night/early in the morning. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I come to Richmond.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, nice room, clean room, ceramic coffee cups in the room for morning coffee.

- 4/5
The hotel staff were nice and helpful. There is construction going on so I tried to be mindful of that. I did not like taking cool showers. I wish I had been made aware of that when checking in. Also, the room next to me had dogs barking throughout the night.

Been here multiple times. But serious decline in quality. We won’t be able to return. Multiple roaches in the room, dirty tub, and some sort of white crusty splatter on area of the end table and couch cushion. Disappointing.
- 5/5
Rooms are newly renovated, neat, clean and cozy. Stephanie was very helpful at the front desk. The location is great to get to the airport easily. We will be back!
- 2/5
Sink area bathroom separation not transparent in room pics and shower water barely warm
- 2/5
Windows boarded up. Breakfast was old and stale tasting, if it had a taste at all. Front desk staff was friendly and great.
- 3/5
Also no conversation with guest some busy on personal phones and headphones some staff not all
- 4/5
Clean room, Nice place
- 1/5
The water was not hot and they didn’t bring towels and wash cloths to room staff was not that good will not stay again
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Room was decent. Upstairs renovations caused the shower water pressure to be intermittent. Would be stong then get low then strong again. A lot of ants coming out of the receptacle outside of the bathroom. First so so stay here
- 1/5
No hot water and there were ants all over the bathroom.
- 3/5
Property is being remodeled. It was noisy, dirty and windows all taped up. The room was spacious but the pool was cold. There was limited hot water and clean towels.
- 1/5
Closest door off the track and not useable. Heat/AC unit turned on and off all night blowing cold then hot air. Shower plumbing sounded like it was going to explode.
- 3/5
Staff was courteous, no hot water for showers and TV only works from apps you have on your phone. Only microwave is in hallway, none in room. A lot of inconveniences for guests. Disappointed ☹️
- 1/5
Bugs, was told they clean every three days and has to shower in cold water
- 3/5
The room was not in the best condition.
- 5/5
Stag is professional and friendly, i missed the microwave in the room , but is not a major issue.
- 5/5
Very convenient location--in a large shopping center, next to a freeway, and very close to the airport.
- 3/5
You can hear the room above running, walking or playing and it's loud. There was no hot water. All showers for 3 days were cold showers.
- 4/5
The shower was not hot enough to my liking but they did let me know upon check in that there was scheduled maintenance to it going on. There were also signs of upcoming improvements. I appreciated the forewarning. The room was spacious. The staff was kind. Breakfast was good. The location was in an area with many food and store options close by. Overall good experience. I would book it again.
- 2/5
Additionally, the condition of the elevator was concerning. It had tape all over it and even nails on the floor, which did not feel safe at all. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality and comfort of my stay.
- 5/5
Great place overall. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
We had a great stay with great service.
- 5/5
Great amenities
- 5/5
When we checked out, another outstanding experience! Breakfast? Nice variety and well prepared. The French toast was tasty and perfect texture…not limp or overcooked until it was like biscotti! Can’t say enough good things!
- 5/5
water pressure not good in shower 3stars everything else 5stars
- 2/5
I love the staff and they were very nice but the water was extremely cold in the shower in both rooms that I reserved.
- 2/5
Bathroom was gross and there is absolutely no hot water to take a shower and the shuttle driver refused to take us to a restaurant that was 1 mile away.
- 5/5
Extremely nice and helpful staff. Located near a Target and other quick shopping options.
- 5/5
Good breakfast and spacious room
- 3/5
Place was fine. A bit older inside and there was no hot water.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Perfect and affordable for marathon day!
- 5/5
The only issue is that there were a lo t of ladybugs in the rooms.
- 3/5
The most important part for me is that it was clean. No weird odors. Staff was friendly and professional. I’d stay here again.
- 3/5
Front desk reps were friendly and helpful. No problems there. Shuttle was on time and the driver was a real worker with the luggage. All good. The bed, couch, and desk were all very good. Shower needed work, but was clean and water was hot. I just cannot get past the heat in the room and the noise from the unit inserted next to the bed.

Google maps used by many guests directs guests to The Moss Creek Gatehouse vicinity not to the hotel. Please consider contacting Google Maps to get this corrected to save your guest a huge hassle. I called the Hilton Garden Inn front desk for directions from Moss Creek gatehouse area and SHE SAID SHE COULD NOT HELP--to ask the Moss Creek Gatehouse to Direct me!!! The kind staff at Moss Creek Guesthouse said MANY Hilton guests ask for directions and they have reported this problem to you for a "long time" but nothing improves. Please train your staff on directions. Please contact Google Maps to update an accurate location. And please put up SIGNS to the Hilton Garden on the connecting roads that have other business signs to help folks through the labrynth confusion. The bathrooom needs a new faucet easy to adjust and turn off. Also a FAN. THANKS!
- 5/5
The room was really clean and cozy. The breakfast was good, however I didn't like you had to pay for parking and it was in a shopping center so what is so exclusive about the parking lot that you are sharing it with a restaurant in front of the hotel.
- 3/5
The rooms were in good condition despite the ladybugs in my first room #517, there was a sign in the elevator regarding the ladybugs but nothing was said during check-in also when it was time to shower there was an issue in room 313 were the faucet and shower ran at the same time and there was no hot water, water was lukewarm but not hot enough to shower in. Other than that the breakfast was nice I loved the lobby area was nice and clean and hotel smelled really good. Gym and pool area was also clean and staff is always friendly but for the price of the rooms there should be hot water in all rooms.

Yes. I enjoyed every bit of my stay including the breakfast. It was superb. I liked the idea there were a variety of stores in close proximity including my favorite places to shop and dine.I will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious.
- 3/5
The staff and the breakfast were great, and the shuttle and room size were great. I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but the room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the toilet did not flush. We were too tired to deal with changing rooms, hopefully not all of the rooms are like this.
- 5/5
Fresh and tasty
- 5/5
best place to stay
- 3/5
Breakfast was limited and underwhelming Staff not very friendly
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff were very helpful.
- 3/5
Room was very nice and clean. Disappointed that we had to pay for parking at a hotel that shares their parking lot with a mall and a restaurant. Even with the fee, we had to park on the exterior of the lot due to cars allowed to take up spaces close to the hotel.
- 4/5
The room was clean and large. A little dated and no fan in the bathroom.
- 5/5
The the staff at the front desk was very responsive.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. We only stayed one night but the front desk lady was very accommodating.
- 5/5
Love the size of the rooms.
- 2/5
The carpet had food crumbs which indicate it had not been vacuumed. Bathroom floor had pubic hair on the floor and the shower water was cold it literally cold and it the pressure was stream. Hotel staff were very pleasant. When checking out we were only credited for parking. I understand the property is old, however there is lots of work needed, I will not be staying at this property again. Again staff were pleasant.
- 5/5
Front desk very efficient, clean room, quiet policy seems to work.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Not a small amount but a standing puddle.
- 5/5
Great location!! Everything you need is nearby!
- 4/5
More fruit options and the hot water for showers was limited.
- 5/5
Very nice and staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
At 1130 at night. The guy inside was pissed. Staff apologetic. Got in 4th floor room and the ppl above us ran laps in their room all night. Nice hotel but def not the best stay.
- 5/5
Very clean in all areas, inside and out. Breakfast buffet was great. The staff was quite helpful and very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel. And I would stay there again if I return to that area.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 5/5
Outdated but clean and close to everything, the staff is friendly and helpful will definitely come back
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay. All the staff members were extremely nice. I really enjoyed talking to Steve ever time I came back from an outing. He was very friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
The room was clean and the service was great but I had no hot water either night.
- 5/5
Amazing stay!
- 2/5
Staff were very nice. Zero complaints there. The hotel was older and in need of a refresh. Zero ability to sleep. Super loud AC unit, we couldn’t even sleep. Lots of people hangout in the parking lot playing music right below our window. Heard cars drag racing. I’d definitely choose a different hotel if in the area.
- 3/5
My shower was very odd, it didn’t have a closing door just a tiny piece of glass to move around and a giant gap. On top of that it seemed the water didn’t want to get really warm so I was freezing with Luke warm shower water and an open shower. There are no photos of this type of shower and nor did I ask for/ get an accessible room. Would not stay again.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, ok gym, very nice room
- 1/5
the fan control was NOT working and the loud noise ALL night impeded sleep. at 1:30 am I went in my PJ's for desk help and the staff was very nice yet could not fix it. Gave us another room next door which it turned out had an old thermostat control and THAT control did NOT work. LITTLE sleep. Yet NOT the Staff fault...the Hotels fault of workings. Even almost cold water in the am, and the TV was not changing channels. Could be the tech; yet NO instructions...
- 4/5
We were there overnight after a late flight. The staff was very pleasant and helpful both late and the following morning. The room was very spacious but could use some refreshing. In general, very good. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Close to airport
- 2/5
It was OK. Our sink didn’t drain well. The AC was LOUD. Room was clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was adequate.
- 5/5
The airport shuttle to the hotel was what was a deciding factor in staying there. When we arrived after midnight the check in was fast, and easy. The room was large, clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing service was fabulous. Room was clean and neat.
- 5/5
Overall we had a great stay.
- 5/5
Awesome staff, food, location and facilities. I will stay again and again!!!
- 5/5

- 4/5
Great location
- 4/5
Good service overall no complaints. Room was clean and nice
- 3/5
I usually find Hyatt Place hotels comfortable places to stay. However, on this occasion, my room was in obvious need of repairs and maintenance. Most impactfully, the room’s door could only be closed from the inside, so I couldn’t leave my room without leaving the door open. There was also a piece of loose trim hanging off of one wall corner, and the hardware / handles on the vanity were all rusted. The closet door track was both broken and rusty. There were noticeable stains and fraying on the carpet, and some stains / minor damage to the walls. For the price ($180 for a weeknight), I find these conditions unacceptable. With that being said, most of these issues could be fixed pretty easily, and it would be a great stay. The staff were very pleasant, no complaints there.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very tasty!

- 1/5
The carpet in the rooms was dirty. The were stains on the sofa. The bathroom door wouldn't close. The housekeeper walked in when she was told not to come in at an inopportune time. The dining room and tables were dirty during breakfast
- 5/5
good breakfast and nice staff
- 5/5
Clean room, very convenient location walkable to restaurants and stores.
- 4/5
Spacious room with all the things that I needed. Breakfast had good options. Had an adequate gym with treadmills, spinning bikes, and ellipticals. What I liked the most was the hotel's location, which was close to everything you needed, from Publix to restaurants, gas stations, the airport, and the highway. Plentiful parking, even though you have to pay $10 a day. My only issue with the room was that the plug in the bathroom didn't work, so when I needed to use the iron and blow dryer, I had to check every plug in the room to see which one worked.

We walked into an empty lobby where two employees ignored us until we asked if we could check in. One didn’t even look up, and the other checked my ID, then LEFT THE BUILDING saying he’d be right back. The woman at the desk acted annoyed that we were even there. When he finally returned, he couldn’t log in for several minutes. Our room smelled like stale smoke, had unfinished wall patches, and curtains with burn holes. The shower had moldy black spots, no water pressure, and a nasty rubber mat rolled up in the corner. The bed had visible stains on the mattress. We immediately went back down to complain. The front desk clerk smirked and said, “You’re not getting a refund,” refusing to let us speak to a manager or say when one would be available. Hyatt corporate was no help—only offered another room. We checked it and found peeling, moisture-filled wallpaper, pink mold in the shower, and stains on the walls. We left without a refund and paid for another hotel because it was unsafe—especially with our baby. Absolutely horrible experience. Hyatt should be ashamed to have their name on this property. Look at the photos and stay far, far away!

It was okay i have stayed there before

Room spelled like stail cigarettes and a lot of air freshener. Sheets were so smelly from the cigarettes that I had to buy spray and hope I didn't smell bad in the morning
- 4/5
For an older hotel it was clean and the accommodations were comfortable.
- 5/5
Buffet breakfast was tasty!! Room quality clean and staff very helpful.
- 5/5
This is a very basic hotel but clean. There are many stores nearby.
- 5/5
The gym was nice and clean
- 2/5
There was a dog barking all night in the next room.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean when we arrived, hotel smelled so good! Staff were friendly. We loved the pool and breakfast. Overall this was a very nice hotel and worth every penny spent I would definitely book again
- 4/5
The rooms could be a little more updated such as the AC units, the outlets could work better, the shower could appear a little cleaner. I like the fact that the TV actually worked and could be adjusted. Overall, i had a good stay, no issues with the service. The area has a lot of shopping and dining options near by.
- 5/5
This was my first time staying here and everything and everyone was outstanding! I highly recommend this hotel and thank all the staff for there hospitality, professional service and assistance!
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
All good. A bit far from the airport but shuttle was OK.
- 5/5
Great again!
- 5/5
One of my top 5 hotels
- 4/5
My only complain is that they charge $ 10.00 for parking per night. That is not an area for that, the premises has more than enough parking for everyone, that is unnecessary to charge for it. Must probably I won't stay again if the fee continue, there is many different option in the area.
- 5/5
It was overall an excellent stay
- 5/5
Veey cleabn
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
the hotel is clean and well run.
- 4/5
Only thins was that we needed to pay for parking. Everything else was great.
- 4/5
I like the hotel because of the proximity to stores and restaurants and travel. They don't advertise that there is a $10 parking charge when there is an ABUNDANCE of parking spots. My card key did not work at the room door after working earlier. When I trekked back to the front desk during regular hours to ask about it, no one was there. There was a group of four people smoking in front of the hotel by floor-to-ceiling windows where they could see the front desk. After five minutes, I stepped outside and asked if anyone could help me. Two people apologized, extinguished their cigarettes, and came inside. They blamed a new system, reprogrammed my card, and off I went.

Room was dirty and didn’t have enough tiles to take shower
- 5/5
Very clean, , close to the airport . Vary large room .
- 5/5
While it was advertised to have a microwave in the room, there was none. There was a microwave in the hallway across from the elevators.
- 5/5
Thank you

Staff was professional, hospitable and courteous. Location of the property is excellent because it is centrally located to everything. We stayed overnight after a day of helping our youngest daughter move in to her dorm so we were all hot and tired. The first issue we had on this particular property was the AC. Central AC was not working so there was an old efficiency AC unit at the corner of the room. It was placed where it was being partially blocked by one of the beds, so it took awhile for our room to cool down. The bed was a bit too close to the unit that you have to either hop on the bed or slide yourself off, if you’re sleeping at that bedside corner. Not enough space to get through. Part of the bed where the cold air is being blown against, is cold and felt moist. Another issue was the shower head and faucet. It was also partially malfunctioning - they were both running at the same time. The minor issues that we did not really mind were, the counter where the sink is resting was cracked and damaged and the closet mirror was not sliding in or out so it was also partially damaged. Didn’t really have the energy to complain about them anymore after taking a bath because we were all tired. The next day, we just had coffee, grab a couple of bottled waters and checked out.
- 5/5
We went to Nascar Richmond the hotel was not far from the race track very clean nice area
- 5/5
Had a great stay!
- 5/5
Our. Room was really spacious and clean. Breakfast was perfect!!!
- 2/5
For what I paid nightly for the room, they charged more for “incidentals” as well as parking, hot water in the room was terrible there’s no actual door on the shower no microwave in the room rather in the hallway, no house keeping.. check out was at noon yet had someone knocking on my door at 8am basically rushing us out. My next stay will not be at a Hyatt, I could of saved a couple hundred bucks thought I was paying for quality
- 5/5
It was nice. I enjoyed my stay
- 3/5
Top sheet was torn in two places and found a used glosser in the vanity area.
- 5/5
The staff was very lovely. The room was fresh and clean, and there was plenty of options to pick up food near overall it was a nice day.
- 5/5
The staff was a amazing
- 5/5
The shower leaked and stains in carpet otherwise the service and front desk was excellent
- 5/5
Great stay. Rooms was spacious.
- 4/5
Nice room but no cable tv. You have to sign in to your own Netflix if you want tv. For the price you should get local channels
- 5/5
Nice room, friendly staff
- 4/5
This was a very good stay. People were friendly and helpful. The staff catered to our needs.
- 5/5
It was nice and centrally located.
- 5/5
I did not like the additional cost of $10 per day for parking.
- 5/5
They were great. Was able to get me and my family in for 2 nights because our other hotel Hampton A/C broke and they would not fix. Hyatt was so much better and had more food and shopping to get to quickly.
- 4/5
The rooms were nice
- 5/5
The staff went over and above to accommodate us in an unexpected stay due to a cancelled flight. All the way down to the van driver that took us to the airport, the kindest, most outgoing staff and we are so thankful.
- 5/5
The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable, with an airport shuttle and a good breakfast.
- 3/5
Nice breakfast variety, not sure why the outdoor patio door is locked so you have to be let back in and was never told there is no housekeeping unless you stay 4 nights. we even had our dirty towels out in hallway they collected them.but didn't give us new ones we have stayed in 2 to 5 star hotels. First hotel for rooms to have no microwave they are located by elevator for each floor. I would stay to catch a plane but long term doubtful and we had Expedia money to use so overall not satisfied for long term stay.
- 1/5
Rude staff, hotel room smelled terrible. Didn’t feel very safe and our room was not clean
- 5/5
This hotel was great my grandkids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly even though they were inundated with weather layovers from the airport.
- 5/5
The property was initially clean upon arrival but there was trash in different areas of the hotel. The elevator, the front entrance and the parking lot
- 5/5
I had encountered less-than-desirable stays in recent days, so it was a pleasure to find a clean room and a pleasant staff before a long flight home. The shuttle service was particularly appreciated.
- 4/5
Great location for an event we went to. Website states hotel has restaurant and microwave in room, which it doesn't have. Staff was lovely and room was great.
- 4/5
Room was great and staff was amazing

Customer Service
- 3/5
Hotel was amazing. Free 2 water bottles daily. Huge room. Lots of room to walk around change and relax. However No Hot Showers, Daily Parking Fees & Breakfast always runs out with one person named Anita working in the kitchen. We had cold to lukewarm showers for three days. We had complained to Cheryl who was the assistant general manager and she told me she would take care of it. When we came back and took showers again, no improvement. The shower handle stopped at an angle and Cheryl said it was in every hotel room. Our shower handle did not proceed all the way down and only stopped at borderline cold and borderline warm. Though we complained again at checkout, it was more important for Cheryl, the assistant General Manager to be right and us to be wrong and though she said she would check again and that the problem maybe with plumbing, we left unhappy. When we checked in, there was no mention or sign of daily parking fees. We only happened to find out because many of my friends booked brief hotel rooms in the same hotel as me and they told me-the front desk neglected to do so. Furthermore, breakfast was fancy in those Le Creasuet pots but not enough to meet the demands of the hotel residents. Saturday morning-food ran out and we had to wait 10-15 minutes because Anita was the only one working in the kitchen. She did a great job but was getting frustrated with people like me asking for breakfast. She then decided to put the eggs in our plates as if we were children :)
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast and very cleand property. Closed to everything
- 5/5
I was quite surprised at how big the rooms were. Very comfy.
- 2/5
I liked the room . Very spacious, i like the location. I hate that you had to pay to park ,especially with a unbelievable amount of parking spaces. Not the hotels fault but i had the most noisy people above me , 3 different groups of people. I called the front desk at least 3 times . The 2nd group should have been kicked out . I called multiple times on that group in one night.
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly. Rooms were amazing. Hotel is clean. Overall a wonderful experience

Breakfast was just okay — nothing special, but enough to get you started for the day. I did find it a bit inconvenient that there were no toothbrushes. Still, the stay was comfortable and I would consider booking again for the convenience and overall quality.
- 4/5
Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the air conditioner sucked for that size room..had it set on lowest setting and probably didnt get lower than 73 in there we were guessing but we were so tired we just didn't use any covers.
- 3/5
Cooled sub par !
- 5/5
Room a great size and very comfortable.
- 4/5
Awesome hotel. Very nice and clean and great location.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff
- 2/5
-We didn't have enough towels. -They didn't provide cups for the sink. -The room was 83° when we arrived. Ours was supposed to be a handicap accessible room. It was at the FAR end of the hall (the most walking to get to on the entire property) & the tub shower had a high wall to step over! One bed was jammed against the AC unit making it difficult to get out from that side, & making the AC unsble to cool the room.
- 1/5
What stay? You all oversold your hotel and gave my room to someone else. On top of that you still managed to charge my credit card for the stay. As a frequent business traveler I have never in my over 30 years of traveling ever had someone sell my room and leave me with no where to stay. I will never visit you or Hyatt Place ever again. And the response from the person at the front desk when asked where I was suppose to sleep tonight was a resounding...and I quote "Not my problem. Please leave now".
- 4/5
It’s okay
- 5/5
The staff was very hospitable room, clean and comfortable
- 3/5
