Due to them not having the rooms clean on time we could not check in at 4pm. The room did not smell clean

There were absolutely no drawers for our clothes, which made unpacking difficult. The toilet kept running, and the bathroom had a sliding door that didn't provide much privacy—you could see inside and hear every little sound. The constant dripping and running water drove me crazy. Another issue was the temperature in the suite. The thermostat itself stated that it did not control the heat, so we had no way to adjust it. As a result, the suite stayed quite warm and uncomfortable for us. I ended up sleeping on the pullout bed in the living room because there was no way my OCD brain was going to relax with the bathroom situation. Between the lack of privacy, the noise, and the temperature issues, we decided to check out the very next day instead of staying the full three nights.

Always a reliable stay at Hyatt Place, however this one performed housekeeping at 7 pm each night I was there, and after literally requesting a higher floor away from the elevator, it got me a second floor room right next to the elevator. Maybe it was just a one off.

Centrally located for everything we needed to do . Clean and quiet. We were in town for the memorial service and interment of a family member so had some time in the mornings and it was nice to walk around downtown, Riverside City College and surrounding neighborhoods. Every staff person we met was genuinely cheerful, helpful and welcoming. $30 a night to park.

Our entire stay was great. Parking lot does get full, but there is overflow in the street.

Very clean. Staff was amazing. Kind and welcoming Elevator shut down and had tonwalk up 5 floors in a hot stairwell. Also I was told I would get a text when my room was ready and had to enquire myself.

Breakfast was awesome! Yvette the server was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to make everyone feel so welcome . She was such a hard worker.

The location is walking distance from restaurants, cafes, and bars. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty. The was clean, the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The one thing i would mention is that the microwave is not in the room, it is downstairs in the lobby. But my stay was very nice and satisfactory. I would definitely book this hotel again.

My room on the main road was a little noisy but booked last minute and forgot to ask for a quiet room. Otherwise everything was great and complimentary breakfast far exceeded expectations.

Excellent value for money. We needed a place to stay en route to Zion on the other side of LA to avoid traffic. Booked this at the last minute. The staff were absolutely lovely (thank you Eddie). The rooms were clean, modern, and well appointed. Had a super comfortable stay for a family four in a room with two queen beds. Exceptional value.

Hotel delayed check in, and gave away my room before finding another to replace it. Once I entered this room, the AC unit was not working and they could not fix or find me another room. Staff was not accommodating and unwilling to assist.

Very conveniently located at the center of downtown Riverside. You can access pretty much all the hot spots on foot. Good breakfast and amazing staff.

Th hotel premises is at a prime location, walking distance to downtown, mission inn and restaurant. Parking seemed a bit small and they seem to charge for parking, even for hotel guest? I had the impression of free parking but that may have not been the case. The lobby is a bit small and the bar is tiny. However, their room are very spacious and clean. They have free flavored water on your short walk to the elevators, a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and informative. Overall, my partner and i had a good night stay and very enjoyable. Bonus points, there is a mini fridge and a good size TV.

Spacious, clean room with big screen TV and a comfortable sofa. The lobby was nicely appointed and had snacks and drinks available. My dog was happy that there was a grassy area near the front entrance.

The room was very nice, spacious and perfect location for my occasion I would love to stay here again. I didn’t get to try the free breakfast but that is a great addition to the stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. There were a few moments when upstairs guests footsteps were a little loud, but nothing too bad.

If you are looking for a hotel within walking distance of everything, this is it. Our purpose was to visit the Mission Inn during the holidays, and this hotel was a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for a family vacation in Riverside.

The room was very nice. It was clean, spacious, and bed was comfy. Although the room did not have black out curtains. It was not dark enough when we went to bed due to the lights of the city and was definitely too bright in the morning.

We have stayed here 3 times...it's right around the corner from the historic Mission Inn. We go for the holiday fun and festival of lights at the Inn, but the rooms there are dark and small, and expensive. The Hyatt rooms are large, comfy and the beds are great. Only complaint is street noise; if you can, book a room away from the street, as the windows let a lot of noise into the room.

The breakfast is complimentary; tastes like it too. My experience at the hotel "Starbucks" was not good. The drink was horrible. It was a waste of money and time. Housekeeping wasn't thorough. Overall, I expected more for the cost.

Staff very courteous, room very clean and spacious. Area is within walking distance of downtown Riverside and close to so many restaurants and shops. Already booked another stay here for the holidays during their annual Festival of Lights.

Check in was a breeze. So perfectly located, great food options and bars. Minutes from the Festival of Lights. We took a beak after a few hours, back to the room to chill for 20 minutes. Then a 2 minute walk and back into the thick of it. Amazing property, fantastic staff.

Great property! Best free breakfast in a hotel we have ever had. Fresh food. Great options! REAL scrambled eggs.. the rooms are large and well set up.. Our only complaint was we were placed 5 feet from the elevator and had to hear partiers coming in all night as there was a large block party in town.. wish we had a quieter room as we had to get up early the next day for our event

Nice room layout and friendly staff throughout. Only complaint would be the shower hot water situation. It got warm but not hot hot. Sink water temp was fine, might have just been the shower faucet mixer.

Their elevator doors need major remodeling/up keeping. Unfortunately our room was in front of the elevator and starting at 5:30-6:00am, we were unable to sleep due to the extremely loud screeching noise from the opening and closing of the elevator doors.

The staff was super friendly during check-in and check-out. The hotel and room were very nice for the price. It was conveniently placed in downtown Riverside so we were able to walk to our event. The only downside was hotel parking is limited and small but they do have additional parking across the street, which wasn’t far at all.

Just expect a 29$ parking fee per car per each guest, each night! For two nights, we brought and parked 2 cars (not knowing there was a parking charge) and had to pay an extra 116$ the two nights we stayed there, just for parking, they charge you even if you are the one that purchased the stay.

Was only there for a couple hours because I drove through the night but the help desk was extremely helpful and courteous and so was customer service over the phone when I had some complications. Everything was handled very quickly and efficiently. Will definitely be staying here again.

Room was spacious clean and the breakfast was great.

While the hotel was nice, I found a few issues. The ‘wheelchair’ doors did not open on own so someone had to open the door and hold it open. We had cleaning services on random days, and random things were cleaned or restocked. Trash liners were forgotten, coffee area and sink area not restocked. One bed made, one not. One bed made without fitted sheet. Trash not emptied every day. I was there for an event for 9 days. Breakfast was great, especially for the kiddos.

We had an amazing stay at your facility this week. The breakfast was excellent, the overall hotel was very clean, with the staff friendly and responsive to questions and help when needed. Location was ideal for walking downtown and for local restaurants in the area.

Everything was really nice there. It was very nice hotel and I’ll definitely stay there again. The people at the front desk were very nice very accommodating. We had some challenges in the beginning, but they stuck to it and work through it and fulfilled all the commitments they made and You know hey we’re all human right and it has it turned out if it was really any issue of theirs? It was just it was actually Expedia so but great hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

I would definitely stay here again, but next time I will get a room far away from the elevators. There were some inconsiderate people leaving at 3 am that didn't know how to be quiet. Other than that the hotel was very good.

The faucet would drip loudly several minutes after washing your hands. The property was clean and the staff was more than accommodating, and the faucet would eventually stop so it wasn't worth moving rooms in my opinion.

It was exactly what I was looking for. The room was a good size, clean, and very comfortable. Will be going back again next week. A lot of good restaurants etc. within a short walking distance. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options.

drove into the parking lot, they have Valet self park (30.00 a day), that was not disclosed. The location is walking distance from most of DT riverside. Property is very clean. They offer a Continental breakfast that I'm sure was good. (we woke up so didn't eat at the property). The room was very spacious and very well equipped. Best place IMO to stay in riverside.

The hotel itself is great and the staff was great. My only complaint is gwtting to check in at 3:30 when its at 3 and having to wait for my room for 1.5 hours. Other than that it was a great and breakfast was impressive with small buffet options.

The place is clean, with a nice lobby & access to a computer/ printer, it has a drinking water station, a pool, a gym, a small bar with decent food options, and free breakfast! The location was great, walking distance to the Food Lab food court, the Mission Inn and the rest of downtown Riverside.

The Hotel stay was very nice and the room and lobby was very clean. The staff were very helpful. However, we felt the daily parking of $29.00 a day was a bit steep, especially because you are parking outside and not in a garage at least. That’s the reason they are only getting 3 stars.

We have stayed here at least five times. The breakfast is usually great and hot. Today everything tasted okay but the eggs were really cold…disappointing. We were at breakfast when it 1st opened.

It was awesome - I stayed there May 22-25 for the AA Hispanic State Convention, and my family had a great time! I recommend this hotel- spacious and clean.

So my poor grandmother had to sleep on couch. I slept on king bed because she insisted. I will never stay at a Hyatt branded place again. I did not expect such low quality service from a place where I frequently stay. They also would not refund any differences for the extra that I paid for the 2 queens and gave me a Single king bed.
